Listen, you attract more with a positive energy. Right or wrong, Right, guys? So listen, I’m gonna go through a couple of tidbits. It’s my privilege to be up here and talk to you guys. My name is Pat Salerno. If I haven’t met you yet, and I was a broke college student. So I’m very qualified to talk to all of you about finances and manage $100 million of AUM, right? No, I mean, think about it. Our primary opportunity is built so every single person can win. There’s no excuses. There’s none. Whatever you think is stopping you, someone’s already proved it’s not a viable excuse. Who knows what I’m talking about, right? So check this out. Whatever you want, you could get. What do you want? What do you want it to look like? I know. Big on my goal list was freedom.

Who likes having a boss? That doesn’t work with me, right? That’s why the primeric opportunity was a perfect fit for all of us here. That you could be in your own business, right? Build a company within a company and have leaders like the great Joe and Denise Cardeno. Let’s give them a round of applause for everything you do for us, right, guys? This room would not be here if they weren’t here. You realize that they started all of that whole Northeast expansion. So thank you. Thank you. This is an unlimited market. Unlimited. Think about it. Our business market gets bigger every day. Every single day. And I was the little guy when I got here, I was like, it’s gonna all get washed up. Like, there’s not gonna be any more business for us, right? We all had stinkin thinking at some point.

But when you come to events like this, you get a chance to clean your slate, Leave your baggage at home. Forget about what didn’t work. Forget about that appointment that didn’t go the way you wanted it to go. And go run with a fresh start, guys. The harder you work, the luckier you get. So we sat off this month and with a lofty goal, we never made 80 grand in a month. All right? We’re probably going to finish at 90. And here’s why, right? You have to have goals that are stretchingly realistic. You have to follow the goals up with work. But went out there and I just put my head down and I said, you know something? I’m going to be a student all over again. And that’s what I incent all of you guys to go do.

Get that license that you didn’t get. Think about it. Come on now. There’s nothing that you can’t pass if you come here and just. We have all the tools that you need. Stop going back to those bad habits and make some new ones, right? So went. Here’s the novel thing we did, guys. We showed up at the office, right? Joe used to say, the winners show up. We showed back up to the office. It’s very easy. We live down by the water. We’re on the boat all the time. It’s very easy to get lazy in Primerica. But went to work and I remember one thing, and I’m gonna give you a great tip, guys. Talk to all of your beneficiaries on all your plans. Because check out, this is what happened to me the other day.

I was in our office and I was helping a family with a little plan. We were rolling about, I don’t know, 6, $700,000. But she brought in her beneficiary. And I remember she said, is it okay if I bring, you know, And I’m like, sure. And I said to Moira when I left the house that day, I said, I’m getting a new client. I don’t even know what she’s got. I am getting a new client. Whatever you think about, you bring about, right, guys? So as much as I was gonna get that business done, that probably paid me 20 grand, right? In an hour. That’s how we bill out. Just like an attorney, right, Joe? But check it out. We wanted to speak to that Benny. So here’s what I did.

While I was doing my appointment, I was inadvertently speaking to her, not just the client. So I said, you know, it’s really hard. A lot of other companies you can’t Reach your actual representative. You know what I’m talking about, guys? I said, all the plugs of what I got to do to knock whoever she’s got. And then somewhere in the middle, I said, who do you use to manage your money? And I think this is going to help a couple of you. And if I go over one minute, all over, who’s ever heard of the name Fidelity? A lot of people just understand the name recognition. They think it’s good no matter what. So I said. And she says, and I’m very happy. And I’ve been with them 20 years. So she shut me off, like, immediately, right?

So I said, all right, this is going to be even more of a challenge. I can’t wait. So then I’m asking her questions. And I said, you know, what do you like about Fidelity? Oh, my accounts do really well. So here’s what I advise all of you guys to do. Just as if you were going to go for a surgery. Don’t you get a second opinion is what I said, guys. She says, yeah. And I said, if you’d like, at any time, I’d be happy to look over your portfolio. Hopefully all I’m going to do is give you thumbs up that everything’s okay. This helping you guys a little bit. Okay, you know what she did? She said, you know what? I could get my statements up on the laptop right now. I said, let’s do it.

And now she said, it’s doing well, right? She’s happy with it. I looked over and I don’t know anything really about the Fidelity website, but. But it was getting a 0% rate of return. Guys, find the quickest thing that you could find to find value in why they need to do business with you. So I said, let me ask you something. Why are you getting a 0% rate of return? And you said it was good. She goes, oh, I guess a little while back I was nervous about the market and the broker must have just put me into whatever. Guys, three years it’s been getting a zero percent rate of return. She’s lost several hundred thousand dollars of our money because of that one thing that happened, right? We earned all that business that day.

And she rolled every penny of the 1.2 million that she had right there. I stayed in the office a little late that day. Moira was all right with it, right? But guys, opportunity is everywhere, you know, truly, just go out there and go get yours. We’re so happy and thankful and grateful for this opportunity, and we would not be able to do any of it without a partner like Moira. Thank you for everything you do.
