Video Transcription:
All right, prior to Primerica, I was a shift leader at Dunkin Donut.
Used to work six days, some days, seven days.
And, you know, you have six hour shift, nine hour shift.
But in the last year, I’d moved to New Jersey and I had to drive 30 miles from New Jersey back to the Bronx every single day.
So I was a shift lead.
As you know, I have to open.
So I understand working hard.
I love working hard at that time and still love working hard.
But when I came into Primerica, it’s just for us to be able to work hard for ourselves because we love working hard in our nine to five.
So now it’s time for us to work hard for ourselves to build a business.
And that’s what we did.
Working hard was easy for us.
And two years ago, I was in the hospital.
And I remember one day Taji had texted me because, you know, cut off, cutoff time was like 9:09:00.
And it was like $500.
Came over for advance.
And he was like, I’m like, that’s a big deal, babe.
$500 for one month.
And fast forward to now.
We had made over 30,000 in one month.
Which other company could have done that but Primerica? Which other company could have paid a Dunkin Donut, a former Dunkin Donut and a former cab guy $30,000 for the month? So we are.
Indeed we are.
We appreciate Primerica, we love Primerica, and we’re really going to make Primerica work for us.
I know this is the start, but we got this primary got to work for us.
All right? So just help me introduce my better half.
No, not my better half.
I’m the better half.
Let me introduce Taji, my partner in business, my partner in life.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Let’s go, guys.
All right, let me hear some noise on this side.
I think this side is more exciting.
Let me hear some noise on this side.
Awesome, man.
Awesome, awesome, guys.
All right, I have seven minutes left, guys.
And I’m super excited to be here.
Just want to be an example, guys, and an inspiration, guys.
I’m from Jamaica, a little country boy from Maple, Clarendon.
I was an ex police officer.
So we know how to maintain discipline and we know not to jump in our feelings.
All right, guys.
And we just got an opportunity.
One morning I woke up and saw Arville Richard in my house.
It was about 7:07:00 in the morning, actually.
I came in from work, Fritz, and I saw Arville around my kitchen table at 7am in my house.
All right, this Little shine guy.
Shinet guy.
I thought it was Tyrese from the movie Baby Boy, all right? And I literally.
I was doing two jobs at the time, guy.
I was a security supervisor in Yonkers working at a company called Madison Security in the Bronx.
And I was also a dispatcher.
I was literally working my ass off to make $3,000, $2,000 a week.
And when Prime Erica came in my life, I said, I call it Primerica.
I said, I really want to give this a shot.
And, guys, know what I used to make for a month or for a year? Primerica pays us that for a month.
So that’s more than that.
That’s more than enough.
That’s more than enough to be excited for.
I really wanted to tell you guys what the mindset is like, because when God knows you deserve better, he will make certain things not work out for you, all right? And somebody said to me the other day, taji, I would love to know what you’re doing.
And I said, okay, let me give you the first breakdown.
I said, I want you to write down these thoughts.
I said, I failed my sie three times.
I failed my series six three times.
I failed my 63 two times.
And I failed my 26 four times.
I said, you still want to be like me? I’m not the sharpest knife in the kitchen, guys.
But what we have is what is called self discipline and self belief and self worth, all right? They said, if you doubt yourself in life, you’re twice defeated.
All right? So consistency was my source to overcome these obstacles, guys.
That’s why imperfect action beat perfect inactions every time.
Action provides clarity in our business.
The darkest part of primary journey was when I.
Kristen met in an accident in New Jersey on the turnpike, and she was in ICU for two months, right? And at that time, Primerica allowed me to be at her bedside every day and still pays us overnight.
The goal that we have for our team and for ourself is that we aim to make a comma check every night.
I don’t know what you come to Prime America to do, but I love money.
I’m from Jamaica.
So every night I asked my RVP at my contract.
Now I’m a senior regional leader, so I asked him at my contract, which is 80%, I said, what do I have to do to make a comma check? And once he gave me that formula and I want to just leave something with somebody today, I only have four minutes on the clock.
Make sure that you break down Primerica numbers.
The goal should be you hitting? If I can talk to any new guy in the room today, make sure you set a standard for yourself.
All right? And the goal should be weekly goal should be two business partners and 250 in checks.
Two business partners and two 15 checks.
That will have you doing over 8 by 12,000 for the month.
Is that okay? And if you can learn how to do two business partners by 2:12:15 checks, then you’ll implement that 250.
And of course expand it to by doing three business partners by 5:15:15 checks.
Every week we make the highest primary cars ever paid us.
Per night is $8,000.
And every weekend we make money.
Every night we have what is called a comma club.
And every night our goal is to get to that comma club, which is to make sure that we make a minimum of a thousand dollars per night.
All right? All right.
Success.
Don’t need to look like everyone.
Guys, stay in the course.
Define your own path.
All right? Talent is not enough.
Guys, you need discipline.
Guys, you need dedication.
You need character.
More than ever, more men fail not for the lack of talent, but for the lack of character.
Remember, hard work beats talents every time.
Start to win by stop fighting with a for paycheck and start fighting for freedom.
A system.
We implement one thing which is called system structure and strategy.
I’m now handing over to my million dollar earner, five million dollar earner, Keith Arthur.
Thank you guys, really appreciate it.
All right.
