How are you? Um, you know, I want to congratulate you to be here because, you know, one of the things I learned in my life is, um, when you do something different from the rest of the people, you’re gonna win no matter what, for example, today is Friday, right? What people are doing right now? Your friends.
Yeah, and they say, you are in a meeting? Where? In Pennsylvania? You’re crazy.
But if you are partying, for them it’s normal, but you know, as a, as a winner, as a success people, this is normal.
That up there is like a, how the people party on Friday when you can make more money and change your life, and for that, giving you an applause because you are here.
And also, text your line or your RPP and tell them, hey, I’m here.
Why? I’m here.
Because when we found people to go to places we asked them to go, it’s on a check, okay.
This person is going to win.
I’m going to spend more time with them.
Because we, as a leader, we try to spend more, more time with the 20 percent of the people.Who really do something.
And one of the thing is to go to meetings and, and text your outline or your RBPA and here yeah, because maybe he don’t see you yet or whatever, but, uh, remind him that you are here.
Perfect.
I, I, I gonna tell a little bit about my story.
Uh, I start in 2004.
Um, part-time, full-time.
What that means.
That mean I working 50 days per month in Miami.
And travel to Colombia another 16 days.
Why? Because I get married, in love, and my wife was living in Colombia.
She has a successful business in Colombia.
She don’t want to move to the United States, and I don’t want to go to Colombia.
And, but in her mind, she want me there, and in my mind, I want her here.And, uh, it’s like a, but I need to show her that.
Because I was an employee and I, she never moved to another state as if I was an employee because she is entrepreneur.
Like, uh, that’s a, that doesn’t match.
Um, but thanks God we, what I need to take the decision right away.
We’ve been, we started in 2000, uh, 2000 like dating.And, uh, in 2003 we decide to have a child, that little beautiful, Mariana, stand up.
She’s, she’s the reason I start Primerica.
Because I want to spend time with my family, with my wife, my daughters.
And, obviously she remember us all the time, the reason to be doing Primerica, when she want to buy something, yes, she remember me that.
And I, you know, I just start Primerica because of that, and I, I, I working in a financial company, but in the administration part, and I know in financial services you make a lot of money.I, I don’t know how, but, uh, but I know you make money.
Um, I understand since the beginning that the financial services, F the people need financial products.
That was, that’s why it’s so easy for me to start in Primerica and I start full time.
I, I’ve been a, I interviewing with the 10, uh, 10 different financial companies because I’m looking for opportunity.I interviewed with my life, New York Life, all the companies.
But in that company you are as a, a, um, you are self-employed, but a full-time, like a, you have a, like a job.
You need to, to.
To, to, uh, to have quotes you need to, uh, to send, sell any products during the month and all of that.
And Primerica was the last one I interviewing.I, nobody called me.
I know me in the anybody list.
I called Primerica.
I found in, uh, in my time was Yellow Pages.
It’s like Google now.
Um.
Online at that time is internet already, but I, I, I look like Primerica.
What the last company is a 30 different offices in Miami.
I just closed the eyes and I put my finger in one.Let’s call that.
And I, I, yes, I, I, I need to know about Primerica.
And the, the week after that meeting, I left my job.
I didn’t start full time Primerica.
Why? Because I saw the opportunity, the possibility to make money.
And have my own time.
And, uh, I’m making at that time around 50,000 as employee.
That’s worth right now, almost a hundred thousand, uh, as employee.But I don’t, I don’t worry about the, my, my income, my safe income because I, I, I, I have a lot of confidence in me.
I know I can, if I can work, I can make money.
I, I, I can survive and.
Thanks God, I asked only two questions about the Primerica thing.
Was my father, he’s a successful entrepreneur in Colombia and he’s rich.And my wife, entrepreneur in Colombia, rich.
And I asked both in separate conversation, What do you think about doing this business? Right away, both of them told me, do it.
Because what the, the entrepreneur think is do it, then we figure out how to, is it work or not work.
They told me, the worst thing that happen is you go back and find another job, whatever.That’s, that for me was, okay, let’s do it.
And I start my first years part time working 50 days in Miami, going to Columbia 15 day and make 50, 000.
And then on the second year.
Um, my, around 80, almost 90, 000, and that year my wife moved to United States at the end of the year.
Why? Because she sold checks.The checks, that the best thing to recruit your wife or your partner.
Because most of you, maybe your partner don’t, uh, help you in the business or something like that.
But you, you start showing checks, checks, checks.
That’s guaranteed.
They, they, they joined your business for sure.
And in 2000, in 2006, at the end of 2006, my wife moved to the United States, and I start that year, my Ariana was two years old.I start full time, pre medical, really doing the whole time.
But during the first two years, in that 15 days, I did, I closed 10, 000 in production.
I, I don’t know anything about Primerica at that moment.
The only thing I, I, I look was I need to make 5, 000 per month.
And I realized doing 10, 000, I made 5, 000.
That’s why I close 10, 000 every month in 15 days.
That’s why I told this afternoon or this morning, everybody, I don’t understand how the people.
In a month, they cannot close 10, 000 in premium.
It’s only like six transactions, seven transactions, something like that.
It’s so easy.
What’s for me, why was so easy?Because I decide in my mind, it’s gonna be easy.
It’s simple.
If I talk with four families, everybody needs a life insurance.
One of them gonna say yes.
That’s why I need to have between 30, 40 appointments during that 15 days.
And that way I close 10, 000 in premium.
Um, I can show the checks to my wife.
Um, and in 2008, my wi my wife moved to United States and we start working together to grow the business.
Now I became an RVP in 2007.
Eh, I made a hundred thousand before, became an RVP.
That’s why everybody, you can make over a hundred thousand without be an RVP, um, when you became an RVP.
Obviously, you’re going to make more, but first of all, you need, you need to show yourself you can make money here.
And it’s that simple.You show yourself as a regional, as a, as a senior regional that.
Now I’m going to show you what, how looks our life, but what happened to us is what happened to you.
You put the work.
It’s that simple.
Because Primerica is for everybody.
We are no different.
My wife and I, we are immigrants without English.Um, I learned in the process.
I never studied English, really.
I, I, I learned English because of Primerica.
Because I need to do presentation in English.
I need to, but, you know, that’s why I use presentation.
I, I need to use presentation because the people need to follow me because most of the words They don’t understand, but you should see the presentation.Maybe you, you follow me.
Um, This is our life.
In Primerica, I’m gonna show you the, the, the dream in, in this, the first thing I’m gonna show you about the business, the dream in Primerica, then as a family and as a personal life.
The first slide is in 2007, when, when you are in Primerica, every two year we have a convention.The ring is to talk at the convention.
Okay.
That, that the dream.
Our first speech at the convention one in 2017, because we, we get the, the million dollar ring at that time, normally one people or two people a year get the ring, the, the, the ruby ring.
Right now it’s like 20 people in a year gathering.
It’s so easier.Now, is today easier to get to, to get to the, to the million? Um, also in 2019 in.
Since then, in every convention, we are speakers.
Okay, also MVPs in the company, million dollar earners.
We are, we have the Wall of Fame.
This is a picture.
Normally, that picture help you a lot because when the people go to the office and saw the picture, they look beautiful and I say, Okay, this is nice.Then you have your own TV show and to MIT.
You are a legend.
You become a legend in the company because you are a million dollar error.
Primerica pay a lot of, all the three, you know, we, we’ve been travel all around your state and some countries.
Yes.
We don’t pay anything.
I like to travel.
And Primerica pays is amazing because we’ve been in Hawaii, in Puerto Rico, in San Francisco, in all over the places.Um, and Primerica pay for that.
Also, we have our own trips with the team.
We call the 50 50 club.
We started this in 2017 with Miguel.
What the first international trip we did.
Right now we need to rent a bus.
Every country we go.
Uh, the last trip in June, September this year, we’ve been in London.
Um, and Paris, we need to rent a bus because we, we are 40 people now, it’s not like before we take a train, a train, a taxi, whatever.Now it’s impossible to handle 40 people in, in, in, in 10 hours or something like that.
We need to rent a, a bus for everybody.
And we’ve been in all over.
We’ve been, uh, in Spain, in France, in, uh, Italy.
Dubai.
We’ve been, uh, one time we rent a private jet to go to, uh, Martin, San Martin Island.
We’ve been in, uh, in Barcelona, um, in London.It’s lower.
Why? Because we like to travel, but, uh, it’s amazing what you travel with your family.
For us, our thing is our family.
We enjoy a lot and we want to show them the world.
Most of the people don’t travel a lot.
And we travel a lot, we want to show them the world is amazing, different language, different cultures.But the most important thing about the trips that my wife and I, every time we travel and go back to, to Miami, we are very grateful for the country we live because it’s amazing.
And, and you know, the opportunity that we have to change our life and you know, it’s, it’s amazing, United States.
It’s amazing.And, and, obviously Miami is more amazing, but, uh, but, uh, the most amazing thing is like everybody speak Spanish and for us it’s, it’s very important that.
Now we have, obviously the, the million dollar, uh, philosophy is the million dollar in our hierarchy.
And we’ve been the number, the, the first to get to the 6 million already.
It’s amazing.
And, uh, you have.
It’s first time Primerica did a 6 million ring and had your last name in there.
That’s amazing.
And you know, we have a P, uh, our color in, uh, in, in our hierarchy is orange.
Orange in Spanish is, uh, naranjo.
That’s why we use orange.
It’s not because we like the color, but, uh, it’s because of the last, the last name and everybody recognize it.
And, and this is, they, they need to change, they just did this, but they need to change because this month we close the 8 million, they need, they need to put another, another ring there.
But I have your own ring, is, you know, when, when we get, first of all, when we start, we don’t believe or our beliefs so low to think about to make a million dollars.This is a lot of money.
It’s a lot.
Then when we get to a million, like, uh, to get to a million, it’s like, uh, it’s only 19 people in the company get to a million.
Three million is far, four million, far away, and, uh, but Primerical worked, and now we are, this month, we’re close to a million dollars in income, and Yes, in three months, from seven to eight.
And this is how is look at our, our, our dream, uh, In our home.
But, uh, it’s missing too because they don’t send it yet.
But, you know, that’s ugly.
But it’s amazing.
I, I don’t take out from me because when, when I start primary care, I say, who gonna use that ugly ring? Now? I don’t take out from me.
I love it.
Okay.
Um, and this is very interesting.
Every, every big company is start from zero.
Maybe in a garage.
Most of the companies you sold in, Apple, Google, Amazon, SpaceX, Disney, Harley Davidson, Hewlett Packard, have modest, uh, start.
And this is how we start.
In 2000, we start dating in 2000, okay? And in 2004, when I started, I get the watch.
I’ve been in your position.
I have a watch.
I don’t know where it is, but I have it.
And, and this is Mariana and Carolina, our daughters.
And now we are making 7 million.
You know, it’s, it’s crazy in 20 years, all the things that happen.
Why? Because we decide to take the advantage of Primerica.
And we stay here because it’s not easy.
It’s no, but it’s not difficult.
And everybody of us do the same thing.
Talk to people, recruit them, license them, doing investment, doing insurance.
This is our family.
We have three grandkids and we enjoy a lot, our, um, our daughter and the guy who married her.
No, just kidding.
Juan Pablo.
We love him.
And we have three grandkids.
We enjoy a lot.
We try to be with them all the time.
They live in the same building we live.
I’m going to show you.
They work with us.
We, we, we win them like every day.
This is our daughter.
We are proud parents.
Mariana, she has all the license.
Carolina is an RVP, she has all the license because in our family it’s mandatory to have the license.It’s not like a, okay, you want to have it? No, it’s mandatory.
When they turn 18, they need to have the license.
Okay? And they want to have the license.
Okay? And Caroline is making 400, 000 a year, and next month she’s going to accrue 500, 000.
And this is, this is so interesting because the business is not for us, it’s for them too, for our family, for our friends, because she, she needs to find people.We don’t, I don’t give any, any life insurance to her.
I, we don’t do any investment with her.
I do my own investment.
I invest my own money.
She needs to find her, uh, her own clients.
And she’s growing a business.
Right now she has over four hundred licenses.
Because the system, the system works.
It works for us, it works for them too.
Mariana is right now in Babson College, it’s the second best college in the United States over at Harvard.
That’s true? Yeah.
That’s, that’s what the article says.
Um, it’s very expensive.
But we can pay it.
And she’s so intelligent too.
We don’t know how she get there, but she’s there, you know, because Carolina, my daughter, she’s like, uh, library, right?Yeah.
She studied a lot.
She’s like, uh, very technical and all of that.
Mariana is so intelligent and she, she know how to get whatever she wants.
Okay.
She know how to, um, to take money from me to go to travel all the time.
And she, she’s very, I don’t know, I she do like, I know six months ago she want to change the wash at the end.I, I bought the other wash and I, I, the, the new wash for her and I, and I bought it, the old wash and I paid for.
For that watch that I paid before.
I don’t know how that happened, but, uh, I finished with that watch and she have, and, uh, you know, it’s, it’s so, so, so interesting.
Um, before, uh, she loved tennis and when we, she was young and, uh, because of that, we be a sponsor in the, in the, in the Miami, um, uh, Tournament.I know we have a seat in front of the, of there because she loved it.
They hold two weeks there.
Um, also we send her twice to two years in a row to, um, Mallorca to the Rafael Nadal Academy to, for a month just for her to, to learn.
And we don’t plan her to be a pro.
We, we want her to enjoy because she wanted, um, now this is the apartment that we have.We live in this building.
It’s called Oceana in Key Biscayne.
It’s a beautiful and the Key Biscayne.
In Miami, it’s an, uh, like a, a key, like an island and everybody there is rich.
And also, you know, everybody is in the golf cart all around the city and you have the beach pools and all of that.
And I, we just bought, we have two apartment there.Okay.
We have on a six floor apartment with 6, 000 square feet.
Uh, we just bought it for 10 million and we have another apartment in the second floor, 1500.
We bought it for 1.
3, 1.
5 million a couple years ago.
And in the second, in the, in the small apartment, my daughter lives with the, with the kids, with the grandkids.And at the, like, uh, from their apartment to our apartment is one minute walk.
We’d like.
Super close.
And we enjoy and we don’t, when we don’t want to because they are crying something like that.
Carolina came to the kids on a, it’s amazing to be a grand party.
It’s amazing.
And also we just bought a D department.It is a pre construction is like in five year they’re going to give us in Mandarin, in Mandarin Oriental.
It’s a residence.
It’s 40 floors, 6, 000 square feet for bedroom.
And everybody else, you’re going to move from Key Biscayne and I say, you know what? We want to have both, the city apartment and the beach apartment.
But before we don’t think about that.
We think, okay, where are we going to move or whatever.
Now we can decide where we want to be, if we want to maintain, because we don’t, we don’t buy it as an investment, we buy it because we want it.
It’s completely different.
And also we have a foundation, William Lorena Naranjo Foundation.And the only, the only founded, the only people who put money in that foundation is us.
It’s not for, uh, take people for people to, to give to others, no.
We put the money there and we give to different organizations.
We do for St.
Jude, Grace Cross, for wherever, especially for kids.
That’s, that’s our, our main, main, main, uh, uh, main, uh, this decision is for kids.And we also for, for the church.
Now the fun part, that the amazing part, the spiritual part, but let’s go to the, the men’s part.
Okay.
My dream was to have a Ferrari, you know, but we are so, uh, we are, we like to save a lot of money.
Um, we don’t, but bought it our first Ferrari, we bought it in 2017 after we had 2 million save and making a million in, in dollars.
That’s when we start buy the first Ferrari.
When you buy a Ferrari and you start receiving email and I receive an email about the driving course for Ferrari owners and I start doing that and I did all the courses.
And at the end, I finish racing Ferraris.
Okay, this is one of the course.
Normally I do all the courses in Italy.
And my wife also drive, uh, race a Ferrari.
This is in, uh, Lapland, this is in Switzerland, and North, uh, racing Ferrari on the snow.
That’s, that’s, uh, uh, amazing.
This is my credential that as a, a racy driver.
And you know, this is the, the, the car I race.
He’s on a Ferrari.
So it’s a 488 challenge.
And when I raise the, they tell you, okay, what you’re going to, uh, publicity you’re going to have.
What sponsor you have? I don’t have any sponsor, but I say, well, who pay all of these? Prymerica.
Okay.
Let’s put Prymerica.And I, really Prymerica don’t send me money because most of you say who in Prymerica help you to pay, no, yes.
It’s a weekend there to raise a Ferrari.
a weekend costs 100, 000.
Just for, just for fun, because you don’t, everybody out there, to race a Ferrari in a, in a, in a, that category, you need to be a Ferrari owner, obviously have a lot of money, and don’t make any money at all.It’s just for fun, okay? And this is, uh, competing in, um, in a race.
This is me in, uh, number six.
Crazy, one of them.
Um, you know, it’s, it’s, it’s fun because, because I, I, my wife like, uh, buy, dress, sport, all of that, I like cars.
I like her.
I don’t, I, I don’t expect, like, when we travel, I don’t expect a lot.
Uh, this is Lululemon.Um, you know, I, my wife bought it most, most of the, the, the expensive thing.
But I like cars.
When I told her, honey, you’re 20, 000 and whatever.
Yeah, but your rate, how much is it? Okay, I said, okay, no, let’s continue.
Buy it whatever you want.
Okay, this is the car that we have.
In the left side, I have the Ferrari SM90.
It’s worth around 900, 000.
And the yellow one is the F8.
It’s around 400, 000.
Okay, I’m done.
And my wife has the Cullinan, it’s around 600, 000 to 500, 000, almost 600, 000.
And we, I already have ordered these three cars, the, the bag is a Ferrari Challenge, new one is 296, 000.
We have the, um, the Ferrari SUV, the Puro Sangue, and also the 12 cylinder.And this is coming, I don’t know, in two weeks.
In a year, two year, whatever, uh, they decide, because in Ferrari you ask for, for the car and they deliver when they want it.
It’s that, that how it works.
And I, I like cars.
My dream is have one car per day.
Like a, really I, every day I say, okay, take me, okay, today is the yellow one, tomorrow the blue one, then the white and the, you know, every day we, we drive an expensive car.That’s amazing.
I, I use it.
I don’t, I don’t buy the card just to put in there like a look in and I see that No, I use I like to use I like to race I like to to enjoy it because that’s why I bought it because I want to to enjoy it Okay, this is the Resume about traveling we already be in six continents 72 countries over at 318 different cities You Um, this is, this is interesting.It’s a company called Abercrombie Kane.
Um, in that company, they have around the world, I always like to travel around the world.
And I start looking around at this company offer a private year around the world for a month.
And I, I heard that from Hector Lamar.
In one of the tapes, the old tapes, he said, You know, I’ve been around the world for Four times.And that’s hit in my mind for years, years, years.
And the first one we did it last year, okay? It’s a, it’s a, it’s really around the world.
It’s cost per person 200, 000, okay? It’s very expensive, obviously.
And the minimum age there, it was 70 years old.
And we are 50, like, We help them to reduce the, the average in age.
But you know, most of the people there is obviously rich, entrepreneur, they are retired, they have time to go to that trips.
They believe my parents pay the, the trip.
They believe the, we inherited the money or something like that.
Because we are so young to be in the trips, but we enjoy a lot.
We are, we, we get very good friends there.And this is last year.
We’ve been in, uh, in Kyoto, in, uh, in Nepal, in, in, in countries like, you know, when you do these trips, you already be in Paris, in Italy, in all that, that country.
When you do this trip is because you already know the best place in the world.
Now you want to go to.
different places because you want to know different culture, learn about the history and all of that.We’ve been in a country called Bhutan, imagine that.
I never heard about Bhutan.
Okay.
In Agra, in Uzbekistan.
I never, and it’s a beautiful country.
Uh, we’ve been in Abu Dhabi, in Petra.
I always want to be there.
In Palermo, that’s last year.
This year we did, we just arrived last week from, from another around the world.Um, we’ve been in Japan, in India, we’ve been in a country called Ladark, in the middle of the Himalayas, like almost 12, 000 feet altitude.
Um, crazy.
We’ve been in Malta, in Senegal, Santelena.
Santelena was, uh, where the Napoleon died.
It’s in the middle of the nowhere.
They, they, they only have airports since 2017.
They have cellulars in 2010.
You know, nobody want to go there.
And what are the places, uh, we visit? We’ve been in Uruguay, in Easter Island, and we finish in the Polynesia, in the Brandon, uh, Marlon Island.
You know? Uh, we became very good friend of, of, of billionaires, uh, that travel in that.
You know, we, we have never have that kind of access to the world without Primerica.That why so are so grateful, thankful with Primerica because we can do all of this.
We can give the best life for our family, for our daughters, for our grandkids.
Uh, because of the business and also you had the same opportunity that we have because we do the same thing.
We don’t, we are no different.
We maybe work harder.Maybe we work, but you can do the same.
It’s your decision because it’s, it’s not good or bad making a hundred or making two hundred or working five hundred or making a million.
It’s not, it’s not good or bad.
It’s your decision.
It’s your decision.
Our decision, what, uh, a, um, kiddo to say we want to be billionaire.We already have in network over 105 million and we know in the couple year we’re going to became billionaires.
That’s, that’s for sure.
Why? Because of Primerica system.
No, because we are different is because we use the system.
