Why Your Words Matter: Speaking Your Success Into Reality – Asaad and Lois Faraj

Video Summary

00:00
Wow. Thank you so much. And I just want to encourage and challenge you guys. Don’t get desensitized to what you just saw. Every place else out there in the real world, the only time they ever recognize your jobs, your business, is if you screw up, if you’re in trouble, if you’re late, if you mess up something. Here we celebrate recognition, and the income milestones are unbelievable. That does not happen in the real world. Welcome. The greatest opportunity in the face of the earth. But today, I want to just give you a little talk for a second. Before I do that. Would you guys just give a round of applause to Andy and Brittany Onstadt, the Harris family, Rick Ayers, all the team, every person working. They did such a great job. We take this for granted.

00:47
It is a ton of work to put these things on. They’re doing it to bless our business. We got to take advantage of it. Let’s fill this place up for the next one. January. Amen. So I call this little talk here actions and reactions. Because everything we do has consequences. Good or bad, they have consequences, understand? Like, for example, habits. Some people think, well, if you get addicted to something, that’s a bad thing. Not necessarily true. You can get addicted to bad things and also good things. Who knows that nobody who smokes three packs a day, smoked three packs their first day. They took a puff out of a cigarette. They coughed 18 times, and for some reason did again and again, and they developed the habit of three packs a day. And that’s. And they went on autopilot of smoking all the time.

01:38
Well, the same thing is true for winning in life. You can get addicted to studying God’s word, addicted to prayer, addicted to loving your family. Addiction. Addicted to the right activities to build a massive, incredible, multimillion dollar business, which we’re gonna talk about right now. So first of all, first page. Oh, I’m doing this. Sorry. I’m waiting for you guys. Moving on. So the reactions, by the way, have very little to do with the actual action, but something much deeper. So, for example, how many times you hear a story, a success story, where somebody grew up in some really rough backgrounds, tough beginnings, but they. They overcame that stuff and they prospered. You heard Keith Otto situation. His dad was in prison, his mom was, you know, house to house or not really finding someplace to live, to someplace to live.

02:27
Yet he overcame all that stuff and prospered. In every single one of those scenarios, there may be kids who say, my life is screwed up because of this and that and How I grew up. And there’s people who say, because all those things were screwed up, I decided I never want to be in that situation again. I’m gonna takes to get out of it and rescue my family from financial bondage. Which one of those are you going to be? You know, when we. Everyone who wants to change their life need to understand there’s this formula to change your life. I talked about that more this morning, but here we go. Applying it to Primerica. Art Williams said the words, you win with your heart, not with your head. He said, this business is 50% the crusade, it’s 50% the dream, but it’s 100% heart.

03:15
When your heart is all about your why then makes you cry and your compelling reasons, you will run through brick walls and not feel pain. You can’t just come here because you want to make money. You have to have a reason to make money. Billy Renner trained me for years that money does not go where it’s not wanted and needed. And you don’t have to have a whole bunch of luxury in life, but you need to have a better life for the people you love for causes you’re passionate about. And that’s what’s going to get you to succeed. Next is your thoughts. And if I asked you a question, if I said to you, if Primerica doesn’t work out, you, I will.

03:56
My wife would joke right now, if at the end of that question was a flashlight going from my left ear to my right ear, it would shine right through. There’s nothing going on up here. I don’t know what else to do. I’m not good at anything else. This is what I do. I have a question for you. If a bunch of alternatives popped in your mind, that’s not a good thing. And it’s probably not going to happen for you here until you mentally burn all the bridges. Let me ask you this question. There’s 164 people make over a million bucks a year. They come from every race, background, age, color, education, situation. Let me ask you this.

04:29
On a scale of one to a thousand, the chances of me, that’s what you’re saying to yourself, going over a million dollars a year is what Hint if you’re 999 or below, it’s not happening for you. You better be fully and completely convinced. Because everything in the world gets out of the way of somebody who’s totally 1 million percent convinced. Then your words have to be right. I’ve been here a long time, Charlemagne. You’ve been here for a while, right? All you leaders, Lavenders, Ortiz. Have you ever seen somebody who steps in the business, says, look, I’ll try, but I’m going to fail these tests. There’s no way I’m going to pass them. I’ll make some phone calls, but all people can do is curse me out. I’ll never set an appointment. I’ll never do anything right here.

05:15
I’ll try, but it’s not going to work. And then six months later, you’re promoting the RVP and they go on and make no, that never happens. Our words mean something every one of us. Like a caterpillar spins a cocoon from its lips and lives inside the world that came out of its lips. We live inside the world that comes out of our lips. Be very careful what you say because life and death and the power of the tongue. So if you’re not cheerleading your business and your future, who is? If you’re not actively talking about the places you’re going, nobody else is either. Then your actions will have to line up. So here we go. Every time a child does something they should not do, or they do something that they supposed to do or not do something, and they’re asked why.

06:02
Okay, we need to have that same conversation with ourselves. So all of us know what we’re supposed to be doing, all of us should not be doing certain things or should be doing more of the right things. And every single time we do that, we’re actually casting a vote. And every time we cast a vote for faith or fear, at that moment, the only vote is counted and then the winner is announced. So my question for you is, what are you voting for when it comes to the right activities? So here we go. Our lives want to be a sum total of the choices that we make. And the choices are the votes that we cast. Let’s talk about this for a second. Picking up that 900 pound, hairy, audacious big T thing with called the phone to make a phone call.

06:51
Every time, every moment of the day is an opportunity to do that or not do that. And every single success story in the 47 and a half year history of company began with the words, I spoke to this person. And then every single one. A success story cannot happen without the right origins or beginning. And that’s the beginning of every success story. So the bottom line is when you do that, what’s worst case scenario if someone says no, what’s best case scenario? Because if you vote correctly, you will deliver for your family. Give your family and Your children, your spouse, a great life and a great future. On the other side of voting correctly about making phone calls or not making phone calls, because every action has a reaction, right? Going to class and studying for your test. And what if you fail?

07:42
Okay, if you fail, should you quit? It happens to a lot of us. When someone on my team calls me and says I took the test by a bad news, I’m like, what’s that? I didn’t pass. Only thing I’ve got inside of me is congratulations. Now for the next 20, 30 years, as hundreds of your teammates don’t pass the first time, you can relate to them so much better. Way to go for not passing, right? It’s all about how you look at it. But if you vote correctly and continue on and pass that test, no matter how many tries it takes, think about the outcome of that. Okay? You can give more to your church. You can take care of widows and orphans around the world. You can donate more money because you’re making more money. How about this?

08:25
Doing a one one interview or a kitchen table with a couple. Okay? The worst thing that can. People are so afraid of doing that. And my question for you is why? What’s so scary about that? Okay? Because the worst thing that can possibly happen is they might say it’s good information, but no thanks. The best thing that can happen if you vote correctly and do them anyway is again, you’ll deliver to your family an incredible dream life on the other side of you doing a whole bunch of appointments and teaching others on your team to do a whole bunch of appointments. Okay? So everything is about how we feel about what we do. And I want to encourage you, when you think about how you feel about what we do, let’s not believe our feelings, okay? Your feelings will lie to you.

09:14
So every single day we should wake up and say, I’m going to attempt this business. And I had to remind myself, this is a company that has more people making 100,000 a year, a quarter million a year, a half a million, 2 million more than any company in the United States or the world. If that much success can happen to that many people, of course good things can happen to me. Right? Okay. This is a place where dreams come true. When you look at things like the company announced a trip, there’s a whole bunch of people who hear the numbers. We have 150,000 people. They’re taking a thousand winners of the trip. Well, it’s 1,000 out of 150,000.

09:52
There’s no way I can make it for those of us who win every single trip, which is a bunch of people in this room, we’re looking at you thinking, what’s wrong? Why are you not winning the trips? They’re so easy to make it. All you got to do to win every single trip they’ll ever announce is you do a minimum of one recruit and two clients per week and follow up on everything good that comes from it. And I guarantee, I tell my team at the beginning of every trip, you do one recruit and two clients every week, and you will win the trip, or I’ll pay for you to go myself. I’ve never had to fork out a dollar for people who did that and didn’t win. You control you. You will win every single trip. Makes sense, right?

10:33
When you look at things like the leaders, both things I can never, ever beat. I remember my first trip I ever won was Boca Raton, Florida, back in 1993. They did that trip based on cash flow. Okay? There was 500 winners, and I was ranked number 500. I won that trip by $13. I was the poorest person on that trip, the most brokest of them all, because there’s only one number one. I need that to be me, right? But bottom line is, I. One day, I would always look my whole career at the front page of the cash flow sheets. There’s a whole bunch of pages that people make a lot of money here. There’s only one front page, and that’s the top 50.

11:12
And I aspired one day to be in that top 50 because I would always look at those names and study and who knows that the people who fail and struggle always look around at the people who fail and struggle and justify their failures and. And the struggles. The people who succeed only look. Only look at the people doing better than them and say, if those people can do it, I can do it, too. Because life will always follow your most dominant thoughts, and your eyes are the windows to your thoughts, right? So how about this? The first reward of faith is to see what you believe. Can you see yourself put on that $100,000 ring? If you know it’s going to happen to you, it’s going to happen.

11:57
If you doubt every day and have one foot in and one foot on banana peel, it’s probably not going to happen. How are you voting daily towards your future success in our company? You know, this is a little rod of iron. A bar of iron costs $5main to a horseshoe. It’s now worth $12main to needles. It’s now worth $3,500. Main to balance springs for watches, it’s now worth over $300,000. Your own value is determined by what you make of yourself. So here’s the question, okay? When you do an appointment, what’s it worth to you? Okay? If all you do is market financial products, then you make 500 to 1500 bucks. And my question for you is that all that you’re worth? Is that all?

12:50
If every time you do an appointment, okay, you end up getting some referrals, with that and markets up to some other people, you might make seven to ten grand. But my question for you, is that all you’re worth? Is that all? But if you do an appointment and you look at those people until they prove you wrong every single time, like they’re going to be future senior national sales directors, future million dollar earners, what do you see in people? Because people will never rise above your level of expectation for them. If that’s how you look at every single person you talk to sometimes you’re going to be right. And in that case, one appointment can turn to an RVP who promotes a whole bunch of RVP’s and be worth millions for your future. That that is what you’re worth. I got a quick minute.

13:39
So I want us to close with the concept of being what’s called a peacekeeper versus a peacemaker. A bunch of people hear those words and they sound. Well, they sound the same to me. And the truth is they’re a million miles apart. James 3:18 says people who sow seeds at peace will be peacemakers and they’ll receive a harvest of righteousness. See, a peacekeeper tells people what they want to hear. You know, it’s kind of tough for me to do this business right now. I’m kind of busy and I got a struggle with this and that. And you just want to make peace for the moment. You’ll tell them what they want to hear. A peacemaker tells people they need to hear they sow a seed now which may not be received very well, but they sow it in kindness and love.

14:27
And if said correctly, it could reap a harvest of righteousness later, which is what they need here. John. Mary, I know it’d be tough for you to do this right now, but the truth is. I gotcha. We’ll do this together. I need you toughen up because if you don’t do this. We just talked about your finances. You’re going to be in a situation your 70s. No offense, but passing out carts at Walmart. That’s not what you’re called to be. You have a precious family, a beautiful spouse, incredible kids. Vain to see you winning and succeeding at all costs. We will do this together, and it will change your life and change your family forever. Are you in? Because I’m committed to you. If you’re willing to commit to me. See, we’re not called be peacekeepers and tell people what they want to hear.

15:12
You’re called be a peacemaker and tell people what they need to hear. Because by being a peacemaker, you will change lives. God bless you. Thank you for listening.
