We are so excited to be here with you guys this morning.
Guys, let’s give God all the praise, all the glory for waking us up today, for giving us an amazing opportunity to be able to change our lives.
Guys, we, Primerica has been, you know, the biggest blessing in our lives.
You know, we’re so grateful to God that he has opened this door for us.
God opens the door, but you have to walk through that door, guys, not forget that.
First of all, I just want to thank our team.
Guys, we are nothing without you.
We would not be here without any of you.
We appreciate everything that you guys do.
We are so blessed.
I mean, I wake up and pray for our team every single day because I’m like, if we would not be able to live the life we live today and enjoy our kids and continue to grow our business if it wasn’t for the amazing team that we’ve been so blessed to have.
The leaders in the front of the room.
Guys, we have been inspired by you over and over again.
We appreciate you.
The friendships, the connections that we’ve made.
You know, we are just so grateful for that.
And just quickly, before I bring Carlos up, I was reading the book of Deuteronomy the other day, and I wrote down the scripture because it, you know, sometimes you read something and it really just pops out at you, okay? It says here, you may say to yourself, this is Deuteronomy 8, 17, 18.
You may say to yourself, my power and my own ability have gained this wealth for me.
But remember that the Lord your God gives you the power to gain wealth, okay? So I was just like, wow, if I needed that reminder, you know, thank you, Lord, for reminding us that he’s the one that gives you the strength.
He’s the one that will allow you to pull through when things cancel and you want to quit.
And just don’t forget about the opportunity that God has placed before you, okay? He’s going to give you the strength to go change your life, to go, you know, take your family to that next level to do the things that you’ve been dreaming of.
He’s placed those dreams in your heart, and he’s also placed the opportunity in front of you for you to be able to go conquer those dreams, guys, okay? Let’s not forget that.
Stick with him.
I promise you, life is a lot easier when you’re leaning on God, okay? So without further ado, please help me welcome my partner in life and in business, Mr.
Carlos Salazar.
Hey, let’s give Sal a hand.
Good morning.
How’s everybody? Feeling.
Hey, once again, first of all the glory to God.
Thank you, Keith, Danielle, for an amazing meeting.
Willie, Wilma, everybody, that just put every event together.
Dominique now, amazing.
Thank you.
My favorite so far has been Blake.
Man, where are you? Blake? Awesome job.
Hey, I’m gonna get started.
You guys can just throw my presentation.
But I was thinking about this weekend and Keith was talking about, you know, building directs and everything.
And you know, we’ve been blessed because we have such an amazing RVP team.
So much an amazing team.
A lot of override.
We’ve been really overriding, which is pretty cool.
About 500,000 of income.
Only 25% we create from our pen.
The rest is overrides, which is pretty awesome.
But I was thinking about it this weekend and as I thought about Willie, I remember when I sat through the op meeting and Keith Otto closed it.
Back then they had this concept or they used this op meeting where he talked about Primerica, took real estate, the recruiting network marketing idea and the franchise idea and put it all into one in the financial industry.
And I remember the franchise concept kind of popping into me.
And I was doing some reading on some different and I was looking up franchises and different stuff just to kind of compare it to our business.
And so think about a franchise or Primerica.
And I want you to sit there and realize really what you’re part of.
And I think Willie’s the perfect speaker to this weekend because Willie really has built, in my opinion, a franchise type of Primerica, right? He’s really got the system that runs with or without him.
And it’s like, you see it, right? You see it.
And so I was looking up some things and I googled them.
So they’re all gotta be true, right? You know, because that’s what they tell us when they Google Primerica.
But look at this guys, distribution, right? I mean, Willie just kept seeing codes, codes, distribution.
Right now McDonald’s has 41,800 McDonald’s across 100 countries.
See, no matter where you go to China.
You can’t read Chinese, but you could read one thing.
What’s that? McDonald’s.
Check this out.
And how much does the McDonald’s franchise actually cost? Right? It goes between 1 to 2.2 million.
You need 750,000 in capital.
You need no money to start Primerica.
We need $99 for a multi million dollar business.
Starbucks, right? Distribution.
38,000 Starbucks worldwide currently.
This is why no matter where you go, you see them, right? Why am I sharing this with you today? Because I Was thinking about Willie coming in and where we’re at and where the hierarchy’s at, and we just gotta get sold out.
I’m like, man, yeah, I have a great business, but it’s not big enough, right? Starbucks franchise.
What does it cost, guys? See, because we asked for $99.
How about the free Iba? They don’t show up for the damn interview, right? This week I’m like, dude, it’s a free Iba.
Oh, but they told me it’s a scam.
I sent them to friggin Primerica.
I said, here, look, check out our stock.
But a million dollars to start Starbucks.
But you have to have 700,000 rights of capital to even qualify Chick Fil A.
I was looking at Chick Fil A.
But you know what stinks, Cardino? It’s cheap.
It’s 10,000, right? To get somewhat started, right? It’s really going to cost you more than 10.
But you can’t own it.
Imagine right now were working our butt off to build Primerica, but we couldn’t own it.
How many would stay in Chick Fil A? You can’t own it.
You could.
You basically are buying a job and then you have to be present.
See, most of these franchises, we don’t realize we have to be actually present.
Now, Primerica, yeah, Willie says he goes to, but he also says he travels a lot.
A lot of these franchise owners don’t have the freedom of time that we get.
But currently there’s over 3,000 chick fil A’s and continuously to open.
Right? But let’s talk about this.
So chick fil A, 10,000, right? But it really is going to cost you between 585 to 3.3.
But check this out.
I was looking at this and I was like, look at the breakdown of everything you need.
And for us, it’s $99.
I don’t even like the free IB.
I hate that the company does that.
Why? We’re just lowering the value of what we’re getting.
People are willing to pay thousands of dollars to go grab chicken and flip French fries.
And if you look at it well, does it really make you that much money? Right.
It says, according to this Starbucks, what do you make profit after expenses? After Starbucks takes a bunch of your money, on the average, 50 to 200,000.
So that means it’s going to take about five years before you break even.
Yeah, there’s some people in the room right now that are saying to their upline, well, I had to pay $20 for this ticket.
I’ve been paying $25 and I haven’t made any money.
And they’re ready to leave, right? Anybody have those? Guys? Okay, can I stop my 25 because you know I’m not going to really do it for the next two months, right? When you look at this, right, it’s crazy, but what do we have the opportunity to do, guys? Look at the opportunity we have, right? Let’s go have the opportunity.
You got to go become a regional vice president.
What does it take? I was 22 years old like Keith said when we came into the business.
And Keith said, carlos, if you stick with me, you do exactly what I tell you.
Listen, you’re young, it’s an advantage.
You’re young, it’s a disadvantage because you probably won’t be as disciplined.
But if you can get more on the discipline side than the other side, it’s a two to four year game plan for you to become a regional vice president.
And that’s exactly what happened.
And we didn’t come in and were the fastest horses, right? We went through our market, we got no’s, we got rejections, all of that.
But what I realized is I went to school for finance, never even saw the rule of 72.
And I spend thousands of dollars to get this degree that really got me what, a 38, $40,000 job after graduation.
And when I did the interview, I asked the guy, when can I make 100 here? And he goes, I don’t know, I don’t make 100.
When I asked Keith Otto that question, he said, it’s a two to four year game plan for you to make a six figure income with me.
And that’s exactly what happened.
22, 26, we made 123 grand, right? Why? Because he said, just recruit, build, train, develop, which is the same thing we got to do now.
It’s like I got to re become 22 and do the same thing to go take ourselves to the million, right? But think about crazy how we get paid, right? It says here, do 10 clients, 12 clients total, and you make $100,000.
I was looking at the numbers.
If you develop four direct districts, right? Four direct districts that you teach how to go do 5,000amonth of personal production, right? Which is not really a lot, but if you get those people, right, Willie’s got district leaders that do friggin 20, 30,000, right? So if you got them just to do 5,000, four of them, that’s about 100,000 in overrides, give or take 80 to 100.
Because think about it’s about 20 to 25,000 per district annually.
And we don’t gotta go put up a million dollars to get started with somebody, right? But then we get the incentives, right, to go build other franchise owner, to go develop other vice presidents.
And on the average, we’re gonna go.
Average joints always talked about 30 to $50,000 per vice president.
We have the opportunity to go do that, guys.
So, guys, hopefully that helps you, but I wanted to paint a picture today that we have a franchise type of business that we need to start treating that way.
I’ll bring back up our leader, Mr.
Keith Owen.
Thank you so much, guys.
