Hello? Sharks.
No, I’m just kidding.
Just kidding.
But listen, these guys are sharks.
These guys are absolutely killing it.
So my first question I’m gonna ask you guys just in order and go quickly if you can, is what did you do before Primerica? Just a quick answer.
And how long have you been the business? So go ahead.
You guys got mics? No mics.
All right, let’s get your mics.
Here we go.
Grab mine.
Actually, they’re saying, don’t do that here.
There we go.
Alrighty.
How long you been in the business and what’d you do before? Okay, so I’ve been doing the business now for five years last month.
And before this, I.
An ex college athlete playing soccer.
Love it.
Give him a hand.
Great job.
Five years in business and college athlete and park cars.
Love it.
We’ve been in business over six years.
Before Primerica, I used to be a security supervisor at a hotel.
Love it.
Yeah, You.
You can clap.
Yeah, absolutely.
Being Primerica For a 17 years, I was working in the warehouse before Primerica.
Awesome.
I’ve been in Primerica for two years now, and I was in the Army National Guard.
I love it.
I love it.
All right.
I mean, we’ve been in business for a little bit over six years.
About seven years now.
And before Primerica, I was.
I went to school for computer science, but I was working at a hotel when I moved here.
I love it.
Give them all a hand.
Listen.
Diverse backgrounds, security, computers, all sorts of great stuff.
So my next question, most people, you guys are all RVP’s.
Most people think that getting to RVP is the end, like, that’s the goal.
And then you stop.
You guys are up here because what you did this past contest period, out of all the, you know, probably 100 or so RVP’s that are here, you guys are in the panel.
That’s a big accomplishment.
So my question is, why are you guys still hungry? What are you doing to still keep going after becoming RVP’s that maybe the rest are not doing? What are you doing to stay hungry? Yeah, of course, guys.
And why settle in a beautiful business like Primerica right when we can go to the next level? I feel like that’s what a lot of leaders here have to focus on doing is getting to the next level.
Right? Like here in Primerica, we can be good, but why just be good when we can be great, right? You know, and why settle for being great when we can be the best, right? So that’s what really, you know, we’re just focused on doing, continuing to be the pioneers for our hierarchy.
I love it.
Great answer.
Give him a hand.
Don’t be afraid to clap, guys.
These guys are awesome.
What keeps you hungry? Why did you not just go RVP and coast? Yeah, because, you know, I.
I’m still seeing my parents struggle and I’m okay, but they’re not.
And I want to be able to leave an inherent of money to my kids and family.
And you know, a lot of my people are not.
They don’t have the ring.
So, you know, I got to keep going.
I have to.
I’m going for a bigger purpose.
I want to be a million dollar earner in Primerica.
I want to be the youngest to do it and I want to teach my RVP how to be the worst to do it as well.
Fighting words.
You think he’ll do it? I love it.
Great answer.
Yes, go ahead.
Well, a lot of time people think the RV people motion that’s your destination.
Actually it’s really not.
It’s just like you’re a brand new web but with a higher contract level.
So when we became rvp, that’s the time that we started working harder than we used to work as below rvp.
And it’s not really about the RVP title for us, but it’s more about making money.
So we, you know, we made over $400,000 right now.
But how can we be complacent with $400,000 when there was a guy in the company? That’s why he gets paid in the 90s in bonus.
So that means the top of every mountain is the bottom for the next.
So we’re super excited about taking this to the next level.
Great answer.
I love it.
Give him a hand.
Go ahead.
What keeps you hungry and motivated after.
RVP being regional vice president I can say is the is where we just start, but it’s not the final destination.
I was born and was in Haiti.
I used to be an accountant when I moved here working in a warehouse.
And I was wondering myself life couldn’t be that way.
We got better way, you know, got better opportunity.
Because they always say America is the land of opportunity.
So when I found Primerica, won five years and said, hey, I find something to change my life, become original vice president, start making 10, $15,000 a month, switch it to 30, $35,000 a month.
We say hey man, we can go higher because we got great example.
We got our great coach was inverte, you know, at that time, you know, say that to be a real man, you get to do to make over $20,000 a month.
Now, he said that to be a Superman, you get to make, like, up to $70,000 a month so that you can.
Because it’s like, we keep going, keep moving.
Great answer.
Yeah.
Similar to, you know, my.
My uplines, you know, right Now I’m at 100,000 income and, you know, at 100,000, you know, your life may be, you know, decent.
Right.
In my opinion, you.
I’m 21.
Keep going, keep going.
Not bad at 21.
I.
I just turned 21, too.
But, you know, and still, to me, you know, a hundred thousand, you know, in reality, it’s not that much money, guys.
You know, I thought it was.
I thought it was like the mountain, but it’s really not that much money.
You know, you may be good, but your family’s not good.
You know, wise mentor of my, you know, my mentor, my.
My upline, you know, Eduard Fernandez.
You guys will get to hear from him soon.
You know, he.
He always told me, you know, poverty ran into my family until it ran into me.
You know, I didn’t just join Primerica to change, you know, my family’s life.
Right.
But to change the history of my last name, if that makes sense.
You guys with me? Hey, that’s a great quote from Eduard.
Well, you guys should write that down.
What did you say? Poverty.
Poverty ran into my family until it ran into me.
I love.
Now.
Now, give the right person credit is upline Edward, who we’ll hear from in a second, but give him a hand of those answers.
Great job.
Next question.
What was the biggest obstacle that you had to overcome when it comes to beating mediocrity? I mean, that’s a tough thing when it came to, you know, just making it happen.
What did you.
What was your biggest obstacle you had to overcome? Yeah, that’s actually a great question, because I see a lot of young faces here in the crowd.
And as a young leader, I started the business, I was 19 years old.
So we know sometimes when you’re younger, your responsibilities are low, right? Anyone else agree with me? All five of you guys? Awesome, right? So, yeah, guys.
So there’s a lot of times we have to give up on that.
Instant gratification.
That’s what it was for.
Ale and I, we’ve been always really good since the beginning of the business.
But we knew were good, right? So we knew that, hey, we could go on a vacation for.
Or a trip for a week, and we could come back and we’d still get finished.
Over the month, over 30 recruits qualify up.
But were doing good.
But were playing at our potential.
Right.
Our coach knew that were good, but we could be doing better.
Our family knew that were gonna be okay.
But it’s like, how fast can you be? Great.
So that’s all we’re focused on.
And I feel like for a lot of young people, guys, like the time is now, right? You guys are young now, but time flies.
I started business, I was 19, right.
Now I’m 24.
I’m more fired up than ever.
But time is gonna go by, right.
Five years from now I’ll be 29.
Right.
So the point is we gotta keep it going, right? We gotta get it right now while it’s hot.
So I love give a hand.
Great answer, great answer.
Your biggest obstacle, overcoming mediocrity.
Yeah.
So mine was actually public speaking.
You know, I didn’t really like speaking in front of people.
That’s actually one of the reasons why I dropped out of college.
The semester right before.
Yeah, speech class and you know, but I knew in this business you can make a lot of money and you have to get uncomfortable to get comfortable.
And I didn’t want to work, you know, a 9 to 5 job for 40 hours a week for the next 40 years to build somebody else’s dream.
And you know, I know that, you know, in life you either become a chess player and make the moves or chess piece and get moved around.
Right.
So I didn’t want to be a chess piece.
I wanted to be a chess player.
That was a mic drop.
Amazing.
Great answer.
So one of my biggest obstacles in this business was thinking that I can outwork a negative environment.
So my family, most of my family didn’t support me.
My only supporter, my number one fan was my mom.
And then so there was times that I work hard, Working hard is not a problem for me.
But my environment was extremely negative.
So yeah, you can self develop.
Listen to, listen to Hector Lamarck, listen to what Bill Arender, Bill Whittle.
But if your environment is negative, you’re not going to make it.
So that was something that I had to change.
I had to make sure I changed my environment.
If they’re not giving me recruits premium a sale, putting money in my pocket, I had to cut them off.
So that was the challenge that I had to overcome.
Man, these are great answers, guys.
I love it.
Yes, great answers.
My biggest challenge when I started, first of all, I started getting good at getting clients so I could write some Premium.
I could go places, write some premium.
At that time, it was before zone and I didn’t really know how to build a team.
We could people building a team, that was not really my strength.
And when I realized what my coaches had like Edison Resi and Million Dollar Tasha and Gerda, Uncle Charlmore, and I said, these guys, they didn’t get there by just writing personal premium.
They built a business, they recruited people.
So I had to make some adjustments, I had to make some changes.
So I started learning about recruiting, read every books that I could read, learning about leadership, communicating and sell gym and stuff like that.
And that’s how we got where we at right now.
And if we have the team fired up, you guys sit here.
Where’s team fired up? Team fired up.
Stand up.
Team fired up.
The team fired up.
Can you guys stand? Because then the number one ticket purchasers, right here.
Perfect.
Great job, great answer.
All right.
For me, the biggest obstacle that I had at the beginning of the business, like I have just said, I was born and raised in Haiti.
No market, no family, no, you know, no relationship, no relatives living here.
So I gotta go out on my own to prospect.
So when I just start, I didn’t have no numbers.
They say top 25 list, I didn’t have 10 numbers.
I said to my wifey, give me your phone because you have been living here before me, you might know some people.
The last action that I took to get my district promotion, I say, hey, I was one week away to get district promotion.
I went to Walmart.
I said, man, I gotta find somebody inside of this Walmart.
Everybody shopping in one no market now because so many people giving bunch of excuses, I say, hey, I have overcome this because, you know, I had no excuses mentality.
If some people can do it, why not me? And I went out, make it happen and overcome this obstacle.
Hey, give him a hand, Xavi, Let me ask you one, follow up on that.
What’s going through your mind when somebody says, I don’t know anybody and they’ve lived in the area their whole life? I mean, oh, let’s say.
That’s a good question.
Let’s say if you live here, you, let’s say you go to a parking, you go to Walmart.
Public say one, let’s say you want to go to buy something, you go in to meet bunch of people just like you.
You talk to them, they can understand, they can listen to you.
And they are looking for something like that.
So there’s no way to be afraid of Talking to people, because those people, they are waiting for us.
We have to go looking for them.
Great answer.
Savi, give him a hand.
Yeah, I would say my biggest obstacle was, you know, number one, you know, self belief, you know, being, you know, my age, you know, I remember, you know, my uplines, you know, like Allie and Lewis, you know, challenging, you know, me to, you know, as a regional leader, to go out and go make, you know, $8,000 a month, you know, being, you know, 19 years old, you know, at the time, you know, and then it was like, all right, now, you know, get to $10,000 income, and, you know, my parents combined don’t even make that, you know, on a monthly basis.
You know, I didn’t know anybody whose parents, you know, combined were making that at the time, you know, so for them to challenge me, you know, at 19 years old, you know, or 20 years old, to go out and go make that, you know, amount of money, I mean, it definitely was a huge challenge.
But one of the things that really helped me, you know, and now I teach it to my BAE shop as well, you know, is I wrote down, you know, what were the qualities of, you know, like, what is Ryan Esayas, who makes a million dollars a year? What does he look like, you know, how does he talk? How does he treat others? What would others say about him? And every single day I worked on becoming, you know, a better version of myself.
Every day I worked on becoming 1% better.
All right? And you know, what I realized is that, you know, you had to become the person first, and then the money shows up, right? Not the other way around, man, I love it.
All right, final question.
I can tell there’s a lot of emotion up here, you guys.
I’m super close.
I can see it in their eyes.
You guys, this is like, this is.
Yeah, this is a big deal.
Some of them already, like, tearing up.
But here’s my final question.
When you’re closing your eyes, when you are seeing your dreams, who’s there with you when you accomplish them? Wow.
Yeah, I see everybody here, man.
This is incredible, because I remember being a brand new person two weeks into the business in a chair just like you, my brother, right there.
So I know what it’s like.
You know, our coaches say all the time, right? It takes a village to raise a child.
So I want to give a flower especially to all the amazing speakers that we have, Andy and Brittany, onset for putting on this incredible event.
And of course, to our unbelievable hierarchy and our amazing team, right as we continue to get it pulled up.
At the same time, we bring people with us in the process.
So we’re super excited to get to the next level.
Great answer.
You’re seeing your dreams.
Who’s on stage with you? Who’s living that dream with you on stage? It’s going to be my brother.
My brother’s gonna be up there with me.
I mean, we’ve done everything together since were little.
We played college soccer together, we graduated together.
I mean, and we do business together now.
So I have no doubt that, you know, us together we can accomplish many things and we’re gonna be million dollar earners.
And again, behind us is gonna be our team following that rule.
I love it.
Great answer.
So I see my number one fan, which is my mom, my only family member that supported, of course, our amazing team, and also my honey.
Well, it’s pretty much the same.
My beautiful wife, Nikki, and of course, our team, because we are the ones selling them the dream.
So we definitely want to be there with them because the top feels so much better than the bottom.
I love it.
So much better.
Right, Right, Answer.
Xavi, what was the question again? Yeah, I love it when you close your eyes and you see your dreams coming true.
Who’s in that picture with you? Oh, okay.
That’s a very good question.
First of all, I close my eyes and I see me and my family become financially independent.
Totally financially independent.
And I see so many of my, you know, my teammates, Team United.
Where you at? This is what I’m talking about.
And I see my great coach, Resilient Verdi, become multi, multi million.
Not only mde, multi millionaire.
Because I receive a phone call from this guy in the warehouse.
Xavier, I believe in you.
I know you can do it.
If you give up your two jobs, this guy will be the limit.
What you will be accomplishing this business.
Great answer.
Who’s with you? He says it’s a good question.
This is the easiest question I’ve ever had.
You know, I’ve envisioned that moment, you know, since I got into Primerica.
You know, you gotta.
You gotta see it before you can.
Before you can seize it.
You know what I mean? And so, you know, everything that I do is for my younger brother, Steven.
I mean, he’s my world.
I love that kid more than anything, you know, as well as my grandmother and then my aviator family as well.
You know, aviators.
You know who we are.
Who are we? I love it.
Hey, give the panel a great big hand.
Great job, guys.
Thank you very much.
