Video Summary

Vision Big Enough For Everyone

In Unstoppable: The Power Of Double Digit Recruiting For Success, Bernard Alerte lays out a clear blueprint for explosive growth inside Primerica.

The foundation is vision. A goal must be big enough for everyone on the team to fit inside it. If your goal is only personal production, your team cannot grow into it. Instead, Alerte teaches the “100 by 100 by 100” target:

  • 100 recruits per month

  • 100,000 in premium

  • 100 codes

The mission is simple: promote Regional Vice Presidents. There is no Plan B.

The Strength Of The Team Is The Team

No one is bigger than the team. Production does not give permission for ego. From zero-by-zero teammates to top producers, everyone matters. Recognition is not the goal—building leaders who walk across the stage is the goal.

Alerte credits mentorship from leaders like Denise St. Joe Cardino for teaching a powerful principle:

  • When the team wins, the team gets the credit.

  • When the team struggles, the leader adjusts.

Kingmakers and queenmakers focus on creating superstars—not being the superstar.

The Law Of The Harvest

The law of the harvest works 100 percent of the time. You reap what you sow.

You cannot control the harvest.
You cannot control time.
You can only control the seed.

That is why recruiting volume matters. You do not know which seed will grow. The solution is simple: plant more seeds.

If you do not like what you are harvesting, change what you are planting.

Your Business Starts At Double Digit Recruiting

Alerte makes it clear:

Your business does not truly start until you are double digit recruiting.

Top players recruit in double digits. Leaders create double digit recruiters early. The seed must be planted from day one. When a new teammate joins, they should immediately hear:

“We need you to get 10 teammates.”

Mindset must be installed before resistance develops.

Inspect What You Expect

Standards require inspection. Leaders must:

  • Practice daily

  • Drill for skills

  • Improve communication

  • Compete for number one at every level

A key question:
If you had 100 people exactly like you, would your business explode—or struggle?

If the answer is uncomfortable, fix it.

Three Day Increment Leadership

The team operates in three day increments. Not next week. Not next month.

Saturday. Sunday. Monday.

Manage activity tightly. Anticipated closes do not count until they close. Counting future production creates emotional instability. Focus only on controllable actions in the next 72 hours.

Never Stop Until It Is Built

Referencing scripture like Book of Jeremiah 29:11 and Epistle to the Galatians 6:9, Alerte reinforces perseverance.

Do not grow weary in doing the right things. You will reap—if you do not quit.

The formula is simple:

  • Vision

  • Team first leadership

  • Double digit recruiting

  • Massive seed planting

  • Tight activity management

  • Relentless consistency

Unstoppable momentum is not emotional. It is built through disciplined duplication.

Transcript: How you guys doing? Who’s fired up? I’m excited. I’m so fired. I don’t even know what state I’m in. I’ve been flying back and forth from Hawaii to Florida to New York. I don’t even know what state I’m in right now, but I’m excited. I just want to give all the glory to God for everything he’s done for us.

He’s blessed us with an incredible family, incredible opportunity, incredible team. Uh, we love the Army Empire, right? We have about 20, 25 people there. Plus, we have a whole team in Florida, too. So I just want to share a couple things with you guys real quick. Um, my wife, Aline, she’s not here today because she’s in Florida.

She was tired. She stayed back home with the kids. But I just want to share a couple things with you. Uh, this is something we go over with our team all the time. We talk about how to build an Army Empire. And this is a core, I mean, our guys see this presentation like 3, 500 times. But that’s just exactly who we are as a team.

This is how we’re going to build it, right? Just go real quick. Okay, you gotta create a vision. You see, I know how you guys see, right? We see it, right? You gotta create a vision that everyone, everyone in the team can fit into. So when you set goals for yourself, is everybody on your team gonna fit in that goal?

Right? So if you think about it, if you want your team to double digit recruit, you can’t say, my goal is to have double digit recruit. That means the people on your team have no shot to fit into that goal. So your goal has to be big enough. Our goal as a team is very, very simple, right? Our goal is to eventually, the first initial step is to get to 100 by 100 by 100.

We want to do 100 recruits a month, 100, 000 in premium, and have 100 codes happening. We’re going to increase it to 200, 200 codes and start. Why are we doing that? Very simple. To promote regional vice president. There is no plan B. There is no plan B. Everything we do is to get, to promote regional vice president.

Not to get a plaque, not to get anything to promote regional vice president. Our goal, our goal, our objective is very, very simple. It’s to convince every single one of you that you can become a regional vice president. And you deserve to become vice president, right? Let’s talk about the strength of the, here’s the mindset that we have.

The strength of the team is the team. There is no one bigger than the team. What makes the Army, except cause no one’s bigger than the team. I’m not big, I’m just part of the team. It doesn’t matter how many numbers you do. The challenge sometimes you have some rats that start doing numbers, and you act like your crap don’t stink.

We don’t play that stuff here. We don’t play that stuff here. Cause everybody’s important. Every single person’s important. From the guy that’s doing zero by zero, you’re important too. Because you’re here today. There’s a lot, it’s easier to come to events when you’ve got a lot of stuff going. When you’re gonna get recognized.

When you’re gonna walk across the stage. But it’s kinda hard when you’re not gonna get recognized. And you’re still here today, so we appreciate you, that’s so important. Everybody’s important. From the guidelines, one by one, it’s important. We have incredible leaders on the team that do big numbers. One thing I love, you’re gonna hear Lizzie, Lizzie and Sammy, uh, later on.

Because they, no matter what numbers they do in their major portion of our team, they’re still humble towards the team. They don’t think they’re bigger than a team and they fight hard for the team to hit the numbers, right? You have to give the team all the accolades. All goes to be Kings and Queens. Our goal is to give the team all the credit, all the credit.

When something’s I learned from all coach rank, I was so blessed that they introduced the opportunity. See, all coach taught us when the team’s, when the team’s doing great, it’s because of the team. And when the team’s not doing good, it’s because the leader has to take responsibility to adjust. Make sense, right?

See, all Kingmakers and Queenmakers, find superstars. Find someone to walk across the stage. Don’t worry about getting recognized. Worry about getting your team get recognized. One thing that drives us so much is watching our team get recognized across the stage. If I never speak a word in Primerica, but I have a bunch of our teammates walk across the stage talking, getting recognized, I’m happy.

Let’s talk about the Law of the Harvest. The Law of the Harvest works 100 percent of the time. You’re always going to reap what you sow. Just like the Law of Gravity works 100 percent of the time, the Law works 100 percent of the time. See, if you don’t like what you’re reaping, change what you’re sowing.

Change what you’re sowing. Right? Let’s talk about Seed, Time, and Harvest. See, you can’t control the Harvest, but you control two things. The Seed and Time. You can’t control Time. All you control is the Seed. All the farmer does is what? Focuses on the seed, and the rest will take care of itself. This is why we gotta recruit a lot of people.

You don’t know who’s gonna win. Listen, like, like Joe said, I was doing zero, one, I was, I was trying to do five, I was happy to do five by five. That’s where I was. But thank God our coach never stopped believing in us. Right? Let’s talk about start. How are we gonna build this, right? Very, real quick. You have to start double digit recruiting.

In your base. Start double digit. Your business does not start. Your business does not start until you start double digit recruiting. Right? And you have to sell out. There’s no plan B. Right? See, all our top players will recruit during double digit recruiting months. All our top players, right? You have to create double digit recruiters.

See, once you get to the, right, we talk about seed time and harvest. When’s the last time you spoke to a new person about double digit recruiting? When’s the last time you spoke, a brand new person came on board and you talked about, listen, we need you to get 10 teammates on your team now. You know the challenge that we have?

Right? If we talk, if you talk to a brand new person, let’s say we got you double digit recruiting this month, they will say, okay, what do I, how do I do it? The challenge, some of us have been in Primerica, if we talk about double digit recruiting, like, I’m trying to get one. There’s no shot. You got to be, prepared.

Sow that seed. If you want double digit recruiters, you have to sow the seed of double digit recruiting mindset early on. Let’s talk about get teammates going for number one in all levels. Get teammates competing, all levels, leaders built in. Right? Do you know the number one person in your category right now?

You gotta go for number one, right? Let’s talk about inspect what you expect. You need to inspect what you expect. Talk about drills for skills. Are you practicing? Are you pra Are you working on your craft? Every single day. You gotta get better every day. One thing that drove us, I was very shy, I didn’t like, but I Every single day I worked on getting I still work on getting better.

Drill for skills, right? If your people were as good as you, how would your business look like? Some of us, that’s kinda scary. If you’re not saying to yourself, my God, if I had a hundred people like me, I would explode. Then what are we doing to fix that? Fix it. Let’s fix it, right? Let’s talk about managed activity in three day increments.

It doesn’t matter. See, only thing we focus on is what you’re going to three days. That’s how we run our business. How many points today’s Saturday? What you got going on Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Coach, I have an appointment on Wednesday. I don’t care about Wednesday. I have a close on Thursday. You know that close that you’re expecting to close?

It ain’t gonna close. We tell guys all the time, I have a close, I have a recruit happening, and, and, and, and, and, and went. I was like, it ain’t gonna close. They’re like, why you so negative? It ain’t gonna close. And what happens is, you get so excited about that close, you count it for your numbers, and when it don’t happen, you feel like you lost something.

You never lost because it wasn’t yours. Three day increments. Focus on doing that, right? Let’s talk about, don’t stop until it’s built. Do not stop until it’s built, right? Uh, God has big plans for you, right? Uh, awesome quote, Jeremiah 29, 11, Galatians 6, 9, you can read them up. Be not, be not weary in what you’re doing, because you shall reap if you faint not.

That means don’t ever stop of doing the right thing, because you will win as long as you don’t quit. We thank you so much, Coach Denise St. Joe Cardino, do for us. We love the Army Empire, we’re going to do something big.
