You know, the people that can stay to the end of the meeting says a lot about their character.They really want to win.
Because what else do you have to do besides learn about money, right? Um, but I’m super excited and I just think that this right here, the mission that we’re on and building a long, Long Island to me is just so open.
It’s such an open market.
Like our original office is in Brooklyn and our team, shout out to the Rose team.Right? Let’s go, Rose Team.

Trying to get our feet wet.
Trying to understand the market we in.
Trying to get, you know, down and dirty like some of you guys here in Long Island.
You already know the market.
You already know everything.But I just think it’s a great opportunity for recruiting, honestly.
Um, I just think it’s wide open.
Um, everywhere I go, it’s so many stores.
And if you know me, I’m always in the store somewhere.
So if you see me, you know, I’m out there, right? But it’s just so many people that never heard about Primerica in Long Island.
To me, like, when you talk about Primerica, there’s no fear, there’s no cringiness, there’s no, oh I heard they like excited, they’re tapping people, so it’s just such an open market, um, to me to tap into.
But um, I just want to go back and give a shout out to God, because I think that’s the um, game changer in our business, and our relationship, um, with our marriage.And um, one of the things is, for me, like, for me myself and where I’m at in this journey, like, I just feel like I’m just focusing, um, refocusing my attention on the right things.
Um, as far as my journey go, I came in Primerica in 2012, and then we went to Vice President in 2014, and I just think, like, sometimes when you go fast, and you’re moving fast as like a, a freight train, um, sometimes you gotta go and fix some things, and like for myself, I had to, you know, pay attention.Um, put things in perspective, which was a shout out to the conquistadors, um, um, Carlos and Sarah invited me out to something called Hob, which is heart to beauty.
I advise everybody to go to it.
And I really had to start focusing on the right things.
And ever since Fritz and I have been focusing on the right things, our cute, we’ve been keeping more people in our business.We pray over our team.
We pray over our, um, marriage.
You know, our marriage got stronger.
And when your marriage is stronger and you’re in a, you’re in a partnership, what happens is it flourishes in other areas.
Okay? And our marriage starts getting stronger.
Our kids, we start praying over our kids.
But then attacks come.But then you’re growing and I’m just so excited to me.
I’m gonna hand it over to Fritz cause he got the presentation.

I was like, no, you take all the time.

And he goes, the text back, they go, there were circumstances.
And So I text back, I’m like, what is the circumstances? You know what I’m saying? Like, what does that mean? And then we had someone that actually, um, he overslept.
And, um, because we had a bus, you know, Patricia did a great job arranging the bus and, um, get some people, you know, get everybody here.And, um, and he overslept, whatever the reason was.
And I didn’t even text him.
But, um, like three hours later, He took the, uh, like three trains and three bus and he’s here.

Uh, 8 o’clock in the morning, and then he texts me back last night, he’s like, you know, I’m taking off work, I’m definitely going to be here, and he showed up tonight, let’s give him a big hand, O’Shane, give him a big hand, and um, and you, you know, you could be here, and you could be thinking about the people that’s not here, but man, you gotta be thinking about the winners that made the sacrifice to be here, and you made the sacrifice to be here, and you’re in the right place at the right time, and I really want to thank God, because I believe that, you know, without him, nothing that we have going on right now wouldn’t be possible.And, um, I want to thank, uh, Joe, Joe and Denise.
I mean, just think about, you know, just a few years ago, you know, we was, like, you know, we wasn’t quite sure if we was gonna make it.
And we, like, literally reached out to them, and, I mean, I don’t know if they know how, how that conversation meant, just having a conversation with them, you know.We wanted to surround the people that was married, that was married a long time, they’re like, what question do you have? And, and it was just like a night of laughter.
If you guys ever hang around with Joe, I mean, it’s just like, You know what I’m saying? Like, he goes from one joke to the next.
It’s unbelievable, you know?And, um, and we’re just grateful for their friendship and their leadership, man.

So, the way that I look at the business, right? Just having a recruiting mindset, right?And if you look at it for a second, Um, you know, they went over the clients, right? Alright.
But here’s, here’s, here’s, you look at recruiting, you know, the way that I look at recruiting, there’s, you know, we call it STEAM, right? You know, you want to look at people that got, you know, sales skills, right? Teacher, someone that’s enthusiastic, someone that’s ambitious, someone that’s money motivated, the right one, right?And then you look at also recruiting, you want to look at, you know, we call it CHAMP, right? Um, competitive, right? Someone that’s hardworking, somebody that, um, they’re active in the environment, someone that’s motivated, right? A people person, right? And you start looking at those things and you start saying, those could be the right people, right?But when I look at life in general, you just don’t know who is who, and who could be the possible person that could be a superstar, right or wrong, right? So the way that I look at things, like, everyone is recruitable, or everyone, I’ve never met anyone that I ever met before, either I tried to prospect them before, and like, get away from me, I don’t need to make money, right or wrong, right?Every single person I ever come in contact with need to make more money.
So if you could start looking at things like that, and every person you come in contact with, you start thinking like, they might be doing okay.
But they need to make more money.
You see, I realized that for me when I first came here.And I started realizing, like, people don’t really own their home.
What do you mean? Because they got to pay a mortgage.
And the cars that they drive, they don’t really own it.
Because they still got to pay a car payment.
I’m like, damn.
Like, for real, for real? And credit cards.
I’m like, wow.
And I started thinking, like, every single person you come in contact with need to make more money.Right, everyone? Right? So if you look at that for a second, Um, you know, we look at people, and you look at where they’re at right now, And the future.
You see, you communicate with someone about where they at, and you look at their future.
It’s just a slam dunk when it comes to recruiting.
Right, everyone?Right? So you look at, say, income.
See, how much income do you make right now? And what is your dream income? What’s the ideal amount of money you want to make? And you start hearing 2, 000, right along, right? You know, how do you get around? Do you take the train? What’s the car that you drive right now? Is that your dream car?What’s your dream car? What’s the car that you want to drive? You see, most people never have no one talk to them like this.
They never have these conversations, so they’re like, you know, this is like, wow, this is exciting.
Nobody ever talked to me like that, right? You know, let’s talk about the home that you live in, or the apartment you live in, or what’s going on with your living situation.What’s the dream home? What does that look like? Or where’s the house, that dream house that you want to, you know, you want to, you want to, where do you want to live, right? Traveling, right? Where have you been? Most people never been nowhere.
For me personally, when I first came to this country, the only place I ever been was New Jersey.
You guys know it’s right over the bridge, right? But, you know, but I had goals, right? I wanted to travel, I wanted to go different places.
So you start talking to people about what’s the places that you’ve never been or that you ever thought about traveling to that you’d like to travel to, right? And now we’re grateful for Primerica that it gives us the ability where every six months you get to fly somewhere else.You know, we just came back from Hawaii, right Ron? Right? We had a great time, right? And if you just keep winning the trips alone, right? That’s, that alone will just show, give you an ability to start traveling, right Ron? Right? Um, and then you start learning other skills, right? You know, leadership skills, right?You know, there’s a book, anything on John Maxwell? You know, you pick up any books.
You did an amazing job on leadership, right one, right? Um, um, you know, mental toughness, right? People skills, right? Sales skills.
And you start learning these different skills, and now you start putting yourself in a position where you start growing, you start developing as a person.I think, I think you got, if you could walk away from anything here today, you gotta understand that every single person needs to get recruited.
Everybody need what we do.
And it’s all about showing people You know, we have a great team, you know, incredible team.
These are some of the guys that’s going to get promoted to R.V.

I think for the biggest moment for us, you know, when we was in Hawaii, we had an opportunity, I mean, David, you was there, right? We had an opportunity to spend time with Hector Lamar.
And I just remember listening to all the years about Hector Lamar and just to actually meet the guy in person.
I mean, that was the takeaway.We was with him for about an hour.
He was, you know, Tico said, man, he’s the nicest guy ever, right, right? And he was just very calm, very cool, collective.
And just to get coached and just to be in those environment with those people, man, it’s priceless, you know? And, um, you know, you get to the point, man, where you’re so fired up and so excited about getting to the next level.And I hope you guys are fired up.
And I hope you guys are excited about where you’re going.
I hope you’re excited about the future.
And if you can take away anything, man, just understand that you are at the right place at the right time.
This is an incredible opportunity.
And every single day I wake up with an attitude of gratitude, just grateful for this primary job.Do you understand that the company, you know, a bad month they’re paying us 25, 000 in a month? I used to deliver pizza for a living, right? And to get paid that type of income, I don’t like, like, you know, I know, man, Joe, you know, he makes like 16, 70, 000 right around.
