How’s everybody doing? Awesome.
Awesome.
All right, well, I shout out to our team in the back there.
Let’s give it up for the warriors.
Right? The first thing I want to thank God that I’m standing here in the most beautiful city in the world with the most beautiful people, right? So thank God for that.
And thank God for our team, who brought us to this point, because without the team, there’s no dream.
Yes or no, right? This is not an individual sport.
This is together we are going to achieve more, right? So let me go to the first slide, okay? So these are the points that being in the business, these are the points over and over again that I paid attention to.
It doesn’t matter what your system is.
This is what you have to pay attention.
Number one, what’s your attitude? Are you here to learn or are you here to have fun? Right? You can have fun, too, but are you here to learn? Are you taking notes to yourself? You know, is your attitude, oh, I know everything.
Or you want to be the type of person that said, listen, the person I am and the person I’m going to become requires growth, right? So your attitude cannot be a bad attitude.
Right? In the beginning, I didn’t like this business.
I didn’t like people.
I didn’t know if I wanted to do this business.
But guess what? Because of the self development, the business taught me, change your attitude about yourself, right? Are you worth it? Everybody in this room, you’re going to become a million dollar earner.
Yes or no? Right? But if you don’t watch your attitude, you know what’s going to happen? You’re going to say, oh, it doesn’t work.
It’s not for me.
What do you mean, it’s not for you? Everybody needs money, but you don’t need money, right? Of course this is for you.
So your attitude has to be rated.
So I want you to rate your attitude right now from one to five, right? I want you to rate your attitude to yourself, and then I want you to ask your coach later, I think I’m a five.
What do you think your coach might say? Two.
So you need to change, right? The second thing you have to monitor is your belief system, right? When I came here to this business, my father recruited me in the business, and he dragged me in the business.
You know, like when you see somebody dragging somebody, that was me.
He was like, oh, this is a great business.
Da da da.
And I’m like, no, I don’t want to do that.
I don’t want to do that.
He invited me to the op meeting five times, and the fifth time he was waiting outside, so I couldn’t make an excuse and I went with him.
Right? Because my belief system was business.
I don’t know how to do business.
I don’t know how to deal with people.
But guess what? Thank God, he took me to the opportunity meeting.
And you know, the opportunity meeting, it was with three people.
Three people in a room, in a basement.
But when they said the rule of 72, I was like, oh, my God, I went to college, I paid a lot of money, but they didn’t teach me this.
And that’s when my belief system shifted because I believe that was important information, right? So you might say, oh, I don’t know if I’m going to be an RVP.
I’m not going to be an RV.
It doesn’t matter.
Your belief system is that it is possible, yes or no, right? So I want you to write the word right now, possible.
Right.
What is possible for you? The third thing that you’re going to talk that I focus on is explanation, expectations, right? Like some people say, oh, if I go visit with people, they’re not interested.
That’s because you set the expectation very low.
Right.
When I go to people, I say, listen, they’re going to do something.
They either going to join the business, they’re going to do business with me, they’re going to give me referrals or all of the above, right? A lot of people are going to say, oh, well, spanish people don’t want to do this business.
But look at this room, it’s full.
Right? It doesn’t matter.
It doesn’t matter who wants to do the business or not.
But are you doing the business? What is your expectation of yourself? Right? There’s a lot of women in this room, right? And the reason I wanted to win so bad when I started was when I joined the business, there was, everybody was male dominated.
And I said, oh, my God, I’m going to kick your butt, your butt.
That was my expectation.
I didn’t look at this business as, oh, you’re a man, you’re better, and I’m a woman, I’m less.
No, the rules are the same for everybody.
When I came into this business, I was like, single, not married, no kids, no home, nothing.
Now, of course, in the journey, we got married.
My son, who’s 27 now, he’s in the business.
He’s a regional leader, making over 100,000.
Right.
My daughter, she’s 14.
She loves it.
So she’s the it person of the business.
Right? My team are back there and all across the country, over 900 licensed people.
What if my expectation was, oh, I’m not good enough? See, Primerica taught me that the computer doesn’t know if you’re a man or a woman.
They just know your code number.
Right.
There’s no discrimination.
Everybody’s going to get paid the same.
Now, 63% of the primerica is women.
Right? So guess what? In the beginning, it wasn’t that way.
Right? So expectation is everything.
Right? What about recruiting? Right? We have to recruit people.
Thank God somebody recruited somebody.
Who recruited somebody.
Who recruited somebody, who recruited somebody, recruited my father, who recruited me.
And all the five people in between quit.
But why are you focused on who’s quitting? Like, oh, my upline doesn’t want to do the business.
Who cares? Your upline doesn’t cut the check.
Home office cuts the check.
Right.
Everybody’s worried about the sideline, the down.
The only people you should be focused is you and your downline.
Right.
It doesn’t matter what other people want to do or achieve.
It’s what you want.
So you have to recruit your way to the top.
What about getting the referrals? Right.
I know I wouldn’t be here with a great hierarchy making over a million dollars if I wasn’t good at getting referrals.
Somebody knows somebody who you need to know.
So when people say, oh, I don’t know anybody, I was like, okay, so open your phone.
Let’s start with a.
And let’s go through the names and see who you know.
Right? So people know people.
But you have to, what? Be bold.
Right? You have to be bold to ask those questions.
Recruiting and referrals is like a river.
It keeps flowing.
But the question is your energy flowing, or are you at the kitchen table saying, oh, I don’t know if it’s going to work.
I don’t know if this information is good.
No, I’m at the kitchen table.
Like, listen, this is going to save your life.
Oh, you don’t want to save your life.
All right, let me go to the next appointment.
That’s it.
Yes or no? Let’s go.
Right.
If you say yes, I still got to go to the appointment.
If you say no, I still got to go to the next appointment.
Yes or no? Right? So you have to have the mentality that you have so much activity.
You’re not going to stay in one person’s house for 2 hours.
Like some people, they’re professional visitors.
They visit for 2 hours and they come out with nothing.
Right.
I want to go in there within an hour and I want to come home with something.
But you know what? If I helped that person, they benefited.
Yes or no? Right? So that’s important.
Number five, invest in people.
Well, thank God I invested in my own self development in the beginning because I wouldn’t be standing here today because the business is simple, but human beings are complicated.
The mental state would have taken me out.
Oh, I don’t have a market.
I don’t like to talk to people.
Oh, I don’t know.
I don’t know anybody.
It doesn’t matter.
If you invest in yourself, you want the best.
And that’s why I say five star business, because nobody wants to go to a one star restaurant.
Right? Are you looking on your phone? Let me look at the worst restaurant in New York.
Everybody wants to go to the best restaurant.
Yes or no? Right? So you have to have the mentality.
Is my business the best business that somebody would be attracted to, right? Am I the best leader I can be or do I need to grow? We all need to grow.
Everybody in this room, it doesn’t matter how much money you make because our team, we’re headed for $2 million by this year, right? And nothing is going to stop us because in New York we have 19.8 million people.
Everybody can’t say no.
And that’s only people that are on the census.
There’s some more people that haven’t told us they’re here.
Right.
Makes sense.
Right? So there’s a lot of people out there.
Okay, the next slide.
Oh, God.
Go back.
Okay.
Oh.
Anyway, the 1431 plan, you have to have a big goal for the year.
The big goal for our team is get to $2 million hierarchy, because within that hierarchy, people are going to go to RVP, people are going to get their 200,000.
Right.
I know Danielle and Patrick are in the back there.
They want to get to 300, 400 very fast.
Right.
And then there are four seasons in a year.
So you have to evaluate, you have to sit down and say, am I better this season than the last season? Did I plant the seeds in the last season? Now I’m going to reap in this season, right? So you have to constantly evaluate yourself and then ask your, you know, your coach or your mentor, your upline to coach you and say, okay, you know what? This can better, right? Because I know Henry’s team is on their way to a million dollars.
Yes or no? Right? And three months in a season.
So, absolutely, you have to break it down again.
And then one win per week, I want you to write this number down.
That’s your lotto ticket.
When I heard that number early on in the business, I said, oh, if I set eight appointments, five people are going to be available, three are going to become clients.
And one person is going to get recruited in my business every week.
Oh, that’s my lotto ticket.
Because I could control that.
See, a lot of people, they’re looking to control things they can’t control.
But I want to control things that I can control is my activity and my attitude.
And you know what? My attitude and my activity are related together, because when my activity is high, my attitude is high.
And when my attitude is high, my activity is high.
Yes or no, right? So this business is a very simple business.
Talk to people.
How you gonna talk to them is up to you.
Whether you talk to them in Spanish or English, money is money.
Money is green in every language, right? So you decide how you want to talk to them, right? But the most important thing in that lotto number, that 8531, guess what happens? When you start out, you’re not as confident, but then you become confident, right? Because if you do this for the whole year, that’s 52 directs.
Do you understand? You’re setting yourself up for to become a million dollar earner and beyond by recruiting 52 directs.
And then you’re going to build under them.
See, one of the rvps in my team led me to twelve direct rvps.
And you know how she found me? She called me.
She called nine primerica offices, and the numbers were disconnected.
And the 10th number was my office.
And she said, listen, I want to join Primerica.
And we’re like, okay, come on down to the office.
You joined Primerica because she came into my business.
Guess what happened? I was able to recruit Kamika John, who’s a $700,000 earner.
Right? And then, you know, Danielle and Patrick, they came from another leg and another leg.
And twelve direct rvps with replacements.
Now, you might say, oh, that’s.
She’s so smart.
No, I’m not.
The system’s smarter than me.
If you are smarter than the system, then you need to look at the person in the mirror.
You’re not.
The primerica system is bigger than all of us.
Yes or no? So as I end my talk, I said, listen, this is possible.
New York.
We have the most people, but we don’t have the most million dollar earners.
We need to change that.
So I want to know in the audience who is going to stand up to become one of the million dollar earners? All right, thank you so much.
