How we all feeling, Primerica? You know what, this has been an incredible day, and you know what, it’s my privilege to help wind it down a little bit, and make what I’m going to talk about, about you.And about winning.
Because you heard a lot of information, you may be sitting here saying, you know what, can I do it? Can I last? Can I stay here? And will Primerica work for you? And I want to tell you, clear as day, it’s got to work for you.
And the one thing that you can never, ever do is never give up.Come back one more time.

You know, we just heard a song, Ripples, and we play that a couple of times at my house.
If you ask my kids, they’re like tired of it.
But Ripples, you know what? Ripples turn to waves.The small things you do turn out to be huge.
And you know, we had an opportunity over the last two weeks to spend with my family in Hawaii.
My son, 19, senior rep, let’s give Nick a big round of applause.
Passed the state exam, which is huge.
But, 10 years ago at the very same resort, Nick and I rented some surfboards and, and we went out not knowing what we were really doing.Took a little lesson and, you know, when we got home we put him into surf camp and it became a part of what he is.
And this time he, he got his surfboards, brought it out, and he was telling me all about the waves.
And, you know, how you watch them come in and how, which one he’s gonna go pick and all that.But, uh, again, guys.
The little things that you do, the small adjustments that you do are going to make major, major changes in your life.
And, you know, so I wanted to go over a couple of things because, you know, Joe answered yes.
I mean, what an incredible influence.
I mean, that man, you know, he used to come in and just change the world with us.We would sit at the edge of our seats and listen.
But one thing he did, who remembers when he used to talk about what you write in the mirror? Who knows what I’m talking about? Raise your hand if you know what you write in the mirror.
He said, you know, every morning when you fog up the mirror in the bathroom, write on that mirror, I will win.Because you know what? You will.
And you need to really reprogram the way you think.
Primerica’s gonna work for you.
So we want to go through a couple things here with you guys.
Winning is inevitable if you do the work.
Guys, one thing I noticed is that maybe one appointment might not go right for you, maybe that one recruit, maybe it let you down, but this is a numbers game, and no one’s even said that yet.
What I love is that I’m the last one to come up, you know, so usually my whole presentation would get messed up because you guys would take it away already.But, no one’s talked about, this is a numbers game, and the numbers, you know what? If you just do enough work, if you put enough work into the equation, winning is inevitable, guys.
But, you know, the cool part, too, about Primerica? Everyone can learn it.
You don’t need to come here with special skills or abilities, or it’s not about what side of the track you grew up on, or what school you did go to, or where you didn’t go, or what your circumstances are, or were.Not for nothing, sometimes the people with the worst circumstances, Wind up being the biggest successes in our business and because people come here with fuel I mean Fritz and Tiki man We got a chance to learn who you guys were and which is awesome because of these trips guys You get a chance to build relationships that maybe you never would have had But he, he said he delivered pizza.You know, think about that.
I love pizza.
Right? But again, when you look at what is a financial advisor? What is that really? What are the prerequisites of that? Nothing! It doesn’t matter what you used to do.
You have to have an above average desire to win and that you will win here.
Anybody can learn this business.Right? Thank you.

Now here’s the thing you do need to self improve a little bit, you know guys that means that when no one’s watching You got a master your craft And how many people ever found? After coming to a big event like this or even going to your meeting during the week that you couldn’t sleep that night You were losing sleep.Let me see your hands Then you’re ready to win then you’re ready to win because I remember coming home You Sitting at the dining room table with my pad out, rewriting the notes like a crazy man, you know, putting them on index cards, practicing with the dog, videotaping myself, and trying to get good so that before I got to a kitchen table presentation, before I got to a situation where I was going to have a chance to talk to somebody, we practiced it already, right?That’s called self improvement.
The other thing about self improvement is, show up to everything.
Everything.
Everything.
You don’t know what meeting it’s going to be, that something’s going to click inside you.
You’re going to get sick and tired of being sick and tired, and you’re going to go out and go win.And you have an opportunity to completely change your life.
But there’s two things that you can completely control.
First one, attitude.
Guys, listen, is your attitude worth catching? Do people like being around you? When you come into a room, do you lift it up or bring the energy down? Which one? Think about that.One thing we did, we got the title of, first of all, Pat Salerno became synonymous to winning.
We, it’s because you’re Pat Salerno.
I’ll have three invites and four will show up.
And Joe, because you’re Pat Salerno.
But one thing we always did, we always came in with a positive attitude.
We always showed what was going to work and what wasn’t going to go work.Because listen, being negative positive.
That just makes you tired.
Who the heck wants to be negative? I don’t want to be around somebody who’s like dragging me down.
I want to be lifted up.
And when it comes to activity, guys, it’s unlimited.
It’s unlimited.
You know, we had a conversation the other day with the custodian at the school and uh, we, we got a chance to talk and, and uh, he goes, you know what?We’re, we’re kind of set already.
And I said, alright, now I’m giving an example of activity because we did get an appointment here.
And we, we got wind that he was saving for his children, the college, with whole life.
And, and, I don’t know, that pisses me off.
Right? Right or wrong? Doesn’t that piss you off when you see that stuff?So, but he wouldn’t set an appointment with me.
Now he’s an Italian guy, right? And, uh, so I was trying to put on my Italian, and there’s a special cookie that Italians eat, and it’s, uh, it’s called Saviade.
Who knows what that is? It’s an oval cookie, right? I’ll bring some for everybody next time.
But you know what I did?The next time I knew I was gonna kinda bump into that guy, I stopped at a local bakery in Babylon, and I bought the best Saviade you can get, and I walked into his office with a box of cookies.
Now his, his jaw dropped.
You know, he’s like, that’s not what I think it is, is it? And he goes, you remembered from a year ago my favorite cookie?And I said, well, it was easy.
It’s my favorite cookie too, you know? So, but, but that opened my conversation to getting an appointment and, and I got an appointment that very day and we bonded and what was neat is, you know, Nick is going through the field training process.
So we had a chance to go see this appointment firsthand.And it’s been a long time guys on activity that I’ve seen somebody go into like the other room and come back with about one foot deep of whole life insurance policies.
I’m serious, about a thick foot pile of them.
Because each of those now, they’re like this thick each now, and on the front cover it says, you made the right decision.
And it should say dummy underneath, right? But it doesn’t say it.
It doesn’t say that.
So, here’s what we did though, we took those, and I’m like, holy cow, my son’s on one of his first appointments, and we’re having a ball together.
But guys, we went to the first page, and we got a chance to see how, in the first three years, he loses all of his money.When the kids were ready for college, they were gonna have about 400 bucks, after putting in about 6, 000.
You know, the good stuff, right? So our carry back is this week.
We’re gonna let you guys know how we work out with that.
But that’s activity which is completely in your control.
But I want to leave you with this.You could have your dream life.
What is it you really want? You know, one of the things that I thought about is, I didn’t know everything that I wanted, but I knew what I didn’t want.
I did not want to be in control of someone else.
I’m not that good at kind of going someplace for eight hours with people I don’t like, doing something I don’t want to do for not enough money, which is 95 percent of the world.Think about that, guys.
Right? So I was deathly afraid, Doug Hunt, of having to do that for my whole life.
We did the college thing and all that kind of stuff, right? And what did it get us? It got us some student loan debt and credit card debt.
So, I knew with my dream life, one of the things it was going to be, we wanted freedom.We wanted freedom of time.
And that’s not a dollar figure or anything like that, but I know one thing, when we were planning our Hawaii trip, I could go for as long as we want.
You know, Paulie and I were saying, let’s just open an office here and stay.
We were having so much fun, right? Because we have a little bit of flexibility when it comes to time.But you also, as you design your dream life, you follow the principles of Primerica, and you too could become wealthy.
Just by having an F& A.
Just by putting away money on a consistent basis.
