VIDEO SUMMARY

In this powerful Leadership School message at Primerica, Albertoni Ginette Fleurant delivers a practical blueprint for sustainable team growth rooted in relentless training, purpose-driven recruiting, and personal development.

The foundation of his message is simple: application beats information. Everything taught at Leadership School only works if it’s implemented immediately.

He begins with the culture of attendance and commitment. Leaders must do whatever it takes — including picking up teammates, waiting for them, and physically bringing them into the environment. Winning requires persistence until you reach the stage you desire.

Albertoni then shifts to a critical recruiting truth:

No one grows up wanting to sell life insurance.

Therefore, you don’t recruit people into selling insurance — you recruit them into achieving their dreams. Financial freedom. Ownership. Growth. Vision. Primerica is simply the vehicle.

He emphasizes the importance of storytelling:

  • Learn the company story (study leaders like Art Williams)

  • Share your upline’s story

  • Tell your personal journey authentically

Belief transfers through stories.

Albertoni shares his personal background — immigrating from Haiti at 14, studying accounting and mathematics, and being naturally introverted. He openly admits that when he joined Primerica, he was ignorant about business, leadership, and people skills.

That realization became his advantage.

Instead of resisting growth, he became obsessed with personal development. He immersed himself in training, books, and meetings. He sacrificed distractions. Since joining, he has missed only one training session.

Why does that matter?

Because consistency builds credibility. If you never miss training, you earn the right to expect the same from your team.

He also addresses skepticism. When critics questioned leaders like David Kim, his belief was protected because he stayed in the environment. Exposure to success overrides outside doubt.

His core principle: awareness determines income.

You get paid based on:

  • What you know

  • What you understand

  • What you can execute

No one who truly understands how to earn half a million dollars chooses not to. If income is limited, awareness must expand.

He closes with a warning: don’t become cynical. The moment you think you “already know,” growth stops. Stay coachable. Stay a student.

This is the best time to build.
Train relentlessly.
Recruit with purpose.
Lead with heart.

So everything we’re learning in this business, we actually, everything that the future of VP went over, everything that we’ve been learning about in this leadership school, what is it that we do to grow a team is we apply everything, right? So this morning as were driving, Albertoni and I, we came in different cars, right? So I had six on my car, Albertony have four on his, right? And then we pick up people. And then as we doing that for those of you future ovp, that’s picking up people, right? You’re getting discouraged. You’re like, how long am I going to stop picking up people and then waiting for them? You’re going to pick up people. Master Kim always said, were you going to pick up as many as it take for you to win?

00:39
Until you win at the stage you want to win, that’s when you’re going to pick people up, right? So we want to recognize people on our team. We have George Sherry who actually has 10 plus people on his team. This gentleman actually George was living in Alabama. He actually sell his house and he moved up to New York so he could be close to our environment so he could go his team. And then of course, Diesel have 10 plus people on his team as well in total. Because sometimes we want to. Because some of the people we pick them up, we picked them up right after they came out of their job, right? They went to work last night, some of them. And then guess what guys, we used to do that. We used to come from work and came to a dealership school.

01:20
So we part of your teammates that we pick up from your job, from your house, wherever you are this morning, we make sure you got here right? And actually I was. One of the things that we got so passionate about is meeting attendance and bringing people, right? Because we know once we bring them in, their job is done. Because we have people like, let’s say we have people like David Kim who’s gonna do a great meeting, right? Guys, think about it. If you was in the meeting today, if David is gonna do all of your training and all you have to do is bring people, aren’t you going to bring a lot of people? So we have 40 plus people in attendance here. We actually have name, not just saying, and we have name and numbers, right?

01:59
So what I’m going to do now to go over the keys of what we have been doing to grow our team, I’m going to pass it to regional vice president Albertoni Flo.

02:10
Where my Haitians at? All right. Quantum Leap. Okay. All Right. Okay, So a little bit about myself, right? I came here. I was born in Haiti, by the way. So I came here when I was 14 years old. My family moved here. Okay. And then I went to school for accounting and mathematics. So I’m a numbers guy. All right, so me speak. I’m standing here, right? This is like not my. In my nature, I’m like the most introvert, intimidate, you know, I don’t like talking to people. I like to keep to myself, right? And here I am in America, right? So especially if you brand new, you’re watching me. So I’m just gonna share a few tips of what we’ve been doing. What I started doing when I first came into the business, that’s working.

02:54
Cause I know a lot of people sitting here think, okay, give us some stuff we can go out there and start using. All right, so the first thing I want to start with, guys, okay? How many of you growing up as a kid, your dream career was to become a life insurance servant? Raise your hand if that was you guys, look around, Take a look. There’s a point to this. Look around. Not one person. Growing up, you wanted to be a life insurance salesman, what are you doing here? So here’s my point though. Here’s my point. The thing is, guys, if you notice, we’re not supposed to recruit people to come sell life insurance. We got to recruit them to show them how they can achieve their goals. In parameter, that’s how you recruit people.

03:36
First of all, because when I first started, I was not. I didn’t join Parameca to go sell life insurance. What, What I saw was, I saw how I can accomplish my dream here. I can. How I can become financially free. So that’s why every time we sit down with somebody, we have to find out what is it that drives them? What are their goals? What are their dreams? What is it that they want? Because I just proved to you guys, not one person in here came to sell life insurance. It’s kind of interesting, right? But we all here. Okay? Now one of the things that I always talk about, guys, Master Kim, our mentor mentioned that earlier today, we gotta get good at telling our prime maker story. So this is one book you gotta get coached right by Art Williams.

04:18
I recommend every one of you. If you haven’t gotten it, get that book. Learn who we are. Like, why are we special? Why are we different from every other companies that’s selling life insurance? Right? That’s the first thing. Second thing is use your upline story Tell your upline story. And in your story, what got you started, right? Every one of us started here for a different reason. Okay? So you got to share that with people. All right? Now, when I first joined the business, guys, I only have two things going on for me. The first one is, right, I was ignorant. And when I joined, primarily, I found out I was very ignorant. What do I mean by that? Okay, before I start, Pray Maker, by the way, my brother recruited me. I was inside for America.

04:58
Meaning I wanted nothing to do with this business. Think about it for a second. Why? Because I thought Parmaka was a pyramid. I thought it was one of those things, you know, somebody’s gonna make money on top and they sell your pipe dream and it’s just nonsense. That’s what I used to think Parameca was. And the reason why, Because I was ignorant, you know, I had no idea Parameca was into financial services. You have to be licensed to do what we do. I had no idea yet. I was trying to talk my brother out of doing the business. Now think about it for a second. I used to try to get my friends, my smart friends who went to college, right? I went to Queens College.

05:29
And I was trying to get them to talk to my brother so they can stop him from doing the business because I was that ignorant. Now think about it. Imagine now I joined the business, those same friends, I used to try to get him to talk my brother out of the business. Imagine me trying to talk to them now, right? So he’s the first thing I had going for me because I found out I was very ignorant, guys, I become obsessed with personal development. Because here’s the thing, when I joined the business, right, I was 30, 31 years old, okay? You know what I realized? I said, how can I? I went to school in Haiti. For the first 14 years of my life, I went to school in America. How come nobody ever showed me people skills?

06:08
Like, make me read a book about people skills. Make me read a book about success, how to become rich. School never told me of that. So when I was 31, I said, Wait a minute. It took me 31 years to find out about all this. I have no time to waste. So I gave up everything. So, any soccer fans here? Right? I’m a big fan of Argentina. You know what I used to do, guys? For six months, I used to watch the schedule of Argentina. And every time I know they’re about to play, if I had to go to work, I call out sick. And meanwhile, I was an educator. I was Teaching accounting at Nassau Community College. Imagine, right? I’m calling out tick so I can go watch the game. And here I come. I joined for America, right?

06:45
And then my upline at the time say, hey, listen, we have Saturday training, right? First instant was, I look at the schedule, Argentina’s playing on Saturday morning. My first instance was like, oh, hell no, right? And then I remember I’m ignorant. I’ve been ignorant for 31 years, right? Now I know better, right? So I need to come. Do those trainings make sense? First thing, that was working for me, the second thing is, guys, since I’ve been here, I never miss any training. Let me say it again. Since I’ve been here, I’ve actually missed only one training. And when we half a million, I’ll share with you guys why that is. But the point is, guys, since I never missed any training, so I was absorbing everything because, remember, I had no people skills, no sales skills, no real leadership skills, right?

07:26
So I was immersing myself. One of the things people need to do, especially if you bring you guys coming to the weekly training is not enough. You, you gotta go outside, like poa. Learn, like immerse yourself. All the stuff that people talk about, learning the system. Don’t wait for the weekly training because if you start doing that right, you’re gonna master a lot of the things the speaker were talking about, okay? And then when it comes to attendance, guys, at the end of the day, since I’ve never missed training, right, I can talk to the guys about not missing training. Let me tell you why that’s important. When I first joined the business, okay, I was talking to a cousin of mine and he told me, oh, yeah, I tried this for America thing. I was actually working with David Kim, right?

08:05
And the reason why he makes money, because he’s Korean. He come from a rich family, right? And that’s why he makes money. And my cousin’s a smart guy. He’s a college graduate, nurse, right? But he’s what saved me, guys, because I came to a couple of meetings, I saw the environment. Everything he told me, I was like, wait. But I only saw three Korean. What is he talking about? Because I saw Hispanic, I saw Haitians, right? I saw all Jamaicans. So I’m like, wait, whatever he’s telling me doesn’t make sense to me because I’m a logical person. But because I was in the environment, guys, I start seeing everything everybody was telling me. I didn’t witness that. I saw something completely different. That’s why training is important. That’s why making it to the meeting is important.

08:44
And guys, when it comes to awareness, okay, a lot of you sitting here right now thinking, okay, this meeting is so long. Guys, listen, your awareness will pay you, right? If you notice, guys, okay? You get paid based on what you know. If you’re not where you are right now, you’re not making the income. The only reason a lot of us not making half a million because we don’t know how to make. I’ve never met somebody who knows how to, who has the resources, the know it all to make half a million who choose not to use that information. You know, anybody like that, guys. So the problem is we gotta realize, hey, listen, we ignore it. Our awareness is not where it needs to be.

09:22
So to get to the next level, we need to sit in our student and learn what to do to get to the next level. Don’t be cynical. Especially if you’ve been in the business for a while. You start thinking you know everything, you start learning, you stop learning. That’s why we don’t grow. All right, so in closing, guys, we appreciate somebody, a legend in New York, that bring for America into the. In New York, like, to the New York market. I don’t think without him, we probably wouldn’t be here. So we appreciate that. So we got so many examples to follow, guys. So let’s just use all the information we learned today. Let’s go. This is the best time to be in primer. This is the best time to be in America, guys. Let’s go. Kill it.
