Executive TLDR

  • Bet on yourself — even when no one else does.

  • Comfort and growth cannot coexist.

  • Commitment starts you; consistency finishes you.

  • Self-belief and coachability unlock breakthrough income.

  • Winning in business is a lifestyle, not an event.

Video Summary

Bet On Yourself

Speaking inside Primerica, Tadgy Kiffin delivers a raw and emotional message rooted in faith, sacrifice, and relentless belief.

His central theme is simple:

Clap for yourself.
Bet on yourself.
Believe in yourself before the world does.

The Harriet Tubman Principle

Tadgy references Harriet Tubman and her powerful insight:

Many people remain in bondage because they don’t realize they’re trapped.

In business, “bondage” can mean:

  • Comfort

  • Fear

  • Job security

  • Doubt

Freedom begins with awareness.

Quitting The Job During COVID

During the pandemic, Tadgy made a radical decision:

He quit multiple jobs.
Turned in his Mercedes.
Bought a MetroCard.

He lost friends.
He lost comfort.

But he gained belief.

He chose long-term freedom over short-term security.

The Turning Point: Exposure Changes Vision

After earning a free trip to Colorado through the company, he asked a simple question:

“What do I need to do to experience this again?”

From that moment:

  • He followed the game plan

  • He stayed coachable

  • He never missed qualifying for trips again

Exposure fuels expectation.
Expectation fuels execution.

From Foster Care To Leadership

Tadgy openly shares:

  • He was adopted

  • He grew up in foster care

  • He started with nothing

But starting with nothing meant:

He had nothing to lose.

The only real choice was:

Comfort or hard work.

He chose hard work.

Commitment Vs Consistency

He reinforces a powerful truth:

Without commitment, you never start.
Without consistency, you never finish.

There were:

  • Empty appointments

  • Relocation challenges

  • Rejection

  • Financial pressure

But consistency carried him through.

Not doing what felt good —
Doing what was required.

Winning Is A Lifestyle

Tadgy defines success in four actions:

  • Recruit

  • Retain

  • Dominate

  • Promote

Domination isn’t a moment.

It’s a lifestyle of constant self-improvement.

Self-Belief Multiplies Income

In his first year:

  • $2,000 per month

After going “deeper” into the system:

  • $10,000–$15,000 per month average

  • $81,000 current progress

Belief expanded his earning capacity.

Doubt shrinks potential.
Confidence expands it.

Two Types Of Players

He leaves the audience with a clear distinction:

Category 1:
Those who want to win.

They quit when it hurts.

Category 2:
Those who want to win more.

They stay excited in the pain.

Winners don’t hunt to eat.
They hunt to survive.

Business isn’t a side hustle.
It’s a lifestyle.

Core Message

Your better days are ahead of you —
If you bet on yourself.

  • Face your fears

  • Stay coachable

  • Stay consistent

  • Reject comfort

  • Build belief

Self-belief is the multiplier.

Yes. I’m here with mixed feelings today, guys, because God is indeed a good God. All right, super excited. Big up to the A unit hierarchy. Super excited. Big shout out to the Untouchables team. Come on. Untouchables. Awesome. Awesome. Prayer. And Orville Richards. You guys are awesome. Chris Aechon. I love you, man. Hearing this from a Jamaican. Trust me. Yeah. Chris H on thank you for this wonderful opportunity, guys. All right, awesome. All right, guys, if I should really go into. Oh, shout out to my wonderful business partner. I don’t want to get luck out tonight. Shout out to my wonderful business partner and partner in life, Chris and Marsh. Chris and Marsh. I love you. All right. We joined team. We’re now working together. And I’ve known her over seven years, and she’s just been an awesome person. All right, awesome. God is good.

All right, so let’s go into it. Nervous is killing me right now, but God is good. All right, if I should really use a team. If I should really use a topic today, guys. Awesome. Aria Tubman. Aria Tubman, an ex slave. Aria Tubman said she freed a thousand slaves, and I could have freed a thousand more only if they realized that they were slaves. And that really resonated with me, guys, because there are so many people that you speak with on a daily basis and they don’t even realize that they’re in bondage. Thank God that I was dumb enough to believe Orville Richards. And I went and I quit my job in COVID. I was a security officer. I was a CNA, and I was a dispatcher, and I quit all the jobs. I turned in my Mercedes and I bought a Metro card.

I lost a lot of friends. I was taking the bus. But what I did, guys, I bet on myself. I went to Colorado, and everybody in Colorado was calling me prayer Richards, because I got a free pass to go and experience a primary trip. That time I sat in the room, guys, and yes, we shared separate beds with my coach. All right? I sat in the room and I asked my coach, what can I do to really experience this trip again? And from then, he gave us a game plAn. He gave me a game plan. And I’ve never lost a Primarica trip since. If I should use a team this morning, I would say, bet on yourself. There are so many people that claps for others. You have to learn to clap for yourself. All right?

When you’re coming from nothing, guys, I was adopted. I was in the foster home. And when you’re coming from nothing, you really don’t have anything to lose. I realized that if I’m going to win in Primerica, I had to choose between comfort and hard work. As the saying goes, without commitment, you will never start. But without consistency, you will never finish. There are days when I have appointments and nobody turn up. There are days when I’m out in the street. I relocated to New Jersey, and there are days when I’m out in the street, guys. And it is the grace of God that kept me. But I still push through. I still do what is required. Not what I like, but I did what is required. All right? And the requirement is to recruit, retain, dominate, and promote.

Dominating is not a one hitter, guys. It’s a lifestyle filled with constantly improving yourself, and most importantly, having self belief and be coachable. The great philosopher says, if you doubt yourself, you’re twice defeated in the race of life. Part of growth, guys, requires thinking. So, of course, I found a way how I can really, because Primerica is a contact sport. So I found a way where I can meet persons on social media. As my head coach, Chris Aechon, I told him the other day, my number one spot now to do recruiting is at an OBGYN. That’s where I get the pregnant ladies. All right, all right. So there are two categories of players. Before I leave, there are two categories of players in Primerica. Category number one, guys, those that want to win.

Most people quit in the pain, and that’s a result of those who want to win in Primerica. Category number two. Of persons who are a part of Primerica. Those that want to win more, they stay excited. Guys, no excuses. Winners win. I am pleased to know that whenever you are doing your thing, face your demons in the jungle. A lion will hunt for its prey for a meal. But the prey is running for its life. Don’t just hunt in Primerica to eat. Be part of Primerica lifestyle. Your better days are ahead of you. I bet on myself the first year, I made $2,000 every month. Since I got deeper and deeper into Primerica, my average income is from ten to 15,000 per month. I am now at 81,000.

And I’m going to be one of the only for now regional leaders that got the power builder ring as a regional leader. Thank you. Thank.
