It’s such an honor to stand up here to speak in front of you guys.
Earlier, I was on the stage and Tesla said.
I said, jose, what’s up? It’s like you’re nervous.
And I said, sina, I’m not.
But right now I feel like I’m nervous.
But let me tell you guys, let me tell you why it came.
Understood.
It’s like, I feel like I’m in the presence of greatness.
When you are in a room, there are $9 million earners, guys, so you can be nervous, right? So when you are in a room, you have a guy like Jimmy Meyer, like Bill Widows, right? So I remember when I went to primary car conventions, so, you know, even.
Even you’re tired.
So if Jimmy Meyer.
Because these guys, they always kept them, you know, in last in the speaker’s lineup when they haven’t spoken, even you’re tired, you don’t want to go.
So when you know you’re gonna speak in front of these people, you.
You can be.
You can be nervous, but I promise you, I’m gonna do my best.
Okay? First of all, I would like to thank God, guys.
Without God, I couldn’t be where I am today.
I thank God for his greatness, for everything he does in my life.
And when people ask me, jose, how do you feel, how things going? I always say, guys, it’s all about grace.
Everything in my life is about grace.
And I would like to thank our leadership guys.
Before I take our leadership guys, that’s a great event, right? So give it up for Andy and Brittany on set.
Guys, they did a great job.
Thank you.
Yes.
I would like to thank our leadership coach Sean Mojineste, Coach Hubert, John Navin.
And I would like to thank my team, guys.
Team Elephant.
Best.
Guys, stand up, please.
Please stand up.
Stand up, Stand up.
Stand up, guys.
Stand up.
Guys, you see these people? Last month, last month, they beat every team in Primerica in recruiting.
We were number one in nationwide.
Not in Florida, Nationwide.
Okay? So, yes, thank you, thank you.
So today I would like to talk about what you can do, guys, to build a successful business.
So we call it the slide, please.
Okay? We call it, guys, the four P’s to build a successful business.
The first P is planning, guys.
You have to plan, guys.
They say people don’t plan to fail, but they fail to plan.
So.
Same thing in Primerica.
People coming prime America.
They don’t plan to quit.
They don’t plan not to make money, but they fail to have a plan.
So if you look at Primerica right now, guys, if you want to be in the big league, so you have to double digit recruit.
But in our team, we’re talking about double digit recruit, personal guys, so.
And I truly believe, guys, the common dominator of people who are doing big in this company, guys, they do it big, okay? So last month we have over over 15 people in hierarchy doing 10 record personal.
Over over 15 in my bishop, I have over 10 in the hierarchy over 15, let’s say I have, we have with daddies, last month she got over 50 recruits, over 50 records, guys.
And Whitney Jati, she’s the original leader, she’s about to become an RVP, guys, she finished with 50 something record as well, okay? And she was the number one regional leader in from Florida, guys.
Give it up for her, guys, Give it up for her.
And then we have Simeon Corantin, regional leader, okay? And he finished number two in the state with over 100 records, guys with the team.
But he did over 10 personnel, okay? Because we don’t negotiate 10 personnel, okay? And we had also the number three regional leader instead of Florida, Lexi, sit up so they can see you guys, Sit up.
Regional leader, he finished number three, guys.
All these people are calling him.
We have more and we are praising me.
She’s a division leader.
She finished number one division leader in the state of Florida, guys, okay? So give it up.
Give them a head, guys, okay? And then so, and then you have to write, Guys, $10,000 premium of personal to 10,000 personal.
Because I truly believe that you have to pay your bills with your unpaid, okay? So one of the mistakes people make in Primerica, they want to override too soon.
Let’s say you’re a division leader, you know, you regional leader.
So write business with your own pen, okay? Whatever the team brings, it’s a bonus, okay? And then you gotta have 100 recruits with your team, guys.
So if you go on pol, guys, if you see people like Andy, people like Miguel, okay? And a lot of people that are doing big guys, they don’t do less than 100 recruits.
So now if you want to have 100 recruits, all you have to have is like three or four people doing 10 personal.
If you got four people do 10 personal, it’s gonna be easy for you guys to do 100 recruits, guys, okay? And the second P, we call it preparation, guys.
We truly believe, guys, winning is 97% of preparation, okay? It’s only 3% of playing the game, guys, okay? So you have to understand that you are one record away from changing my life.
But you got to be that record first.
Okay? So when Ruth came in the business, if I didn’t do the numbers, so she wouldn’t stay guys.
You probably ask yourself, Jose, how many recruits you did last month? I did over 10.
Personal.
You know why? Because I’m a leader.
I’m not a manager.
I’m not gonna tell you to do something that I’m not willing to do.
And when you are like that, guys, your people, not only they trust you, they like you, but they respect you.
Understand? Are you guys with me? Okay, great.
And second, you gotta have guys, a growth environment.
We have guys.
Our environment guys is a fun environment.
Okay? So we have a slugget in our environment.
We said people, we tell people, you don’t have to be a great recruiter yet.
All you have to be is a great inviter.
If you can invite people, the environment will recruit them for you guys.
We are so united, we recruit for each other.
So by the way, we have meetings every single day.
Because when Wood came to me say, okay, you know what? I want to quote this stage, I want to do that.
I said the same thing.
Willie told Miguel, I said, if you want to cross the stage, if you want to be mvp, you have to outwork everybody.
And she said, you know what? We’re gonna have meeting every day.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, we have meeting twice.
Twice we have meeting Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
So let’s say you invite someone even though you don’t know how to do a presentation, it’s okay.
The environment is going to recruit that person.
And guess what? We’re going to train that person for you until you are able to train them yourself.
You guys got me? You understand? Guys? Great.
And, and guys, you got to get your Series 6 and 26 license.
Okay? The company come with leaders building other leaders.
That means become RVP and promote other RVPs.
So you guys know that if you not having your Series 626, not only you won’t be able to promote RVP.
I know there’s some exceptions, but you’re not going to be able to promote other RVP’s guys.
And one of the things that can happen to you, let’s say you recruit someone and that person is ready and you don’t have your license, that’s it’s gonna be a problem.
So let’s say you recruit me.
I’m ready to go to RVP as 30, I got my licenses and you my leader.
Because you don’t have your 26, I’m not able to promote, so I’m gonna be mad.
So, guys, you have to get ready, guys, okay? And the third p guys, is practice.
Guys, you have to master your craft.
Our founder, Art William, he says you have to practice your presentation.
Practice everything until you can fail.
So, guys, it doesn’t make sense.
You sit down with a client, you’re doing your presentation, you’re saying wool 92.
And you know it’s rule 72, right? It doesn’t make sense.
You know that happened because you’re not practicing your craft.
You have to master that, guys, okay, so.
And overcoming objects.
This is a big one too.
This is a big one.
Teach people how to make money.
And we heard it last night, the number one reason people quit this business is because they don’t make money.
I know some of you, I will say, oh, Josue, I have a bunch of people in my team.
They don’t make money.
They love me.
They’re still in the environment.
But.
But I’m here to tell you, it’s a matter of time.
It’s a matter of time they’re going to quit, okay? You have to teach them how to make money.
Write $10,000 premium on their own pen.
So when people make money, guys, they stay longer.
They respect you, okay? I love when I close in front of my people, after you close in front of them, they call you coach.
I’m part of you, Coach.
I have another one.
Sometimes people don’t, okay? Some people say, you know, people don’t want to give me people.
They don’t introduce me to people.
They don’t.
They don’t want to introduce you to people because they introduce you to someone and you didn’t close.
You didn’t close.
But if you close, you show them it’s possible.
You show them that what we do for our clients so matters.
So I’m telling you guys, they’re gonna.
Gonna bring you more people, okay? So teach people how to make money so they can.
So they can.
So they can stay longer with you guys.
And lastly, guys, lastly, guys, listen, I truly believe, guys, so we all have greatness within us, okay? So we are called to do something great.
But other people, okay, they are called to do something great as well.
But if we combine, if we complement our strength, we can do something greater, guys, okay, let’s go out there and make and do something big.
Thank you.
