Hey, happy.
Happy Saturday, everybody.
Who’s the partners out here? That’s it.
All right, partners.
You’re the secret weapon.
Just keep planting seeds.
People always need what we do.
And they won’t know what you do if you don’t say it.
And you just put yourself out there and just let them know, because you never know when they’re gonna come back and need something that you do.
But they won’t know unless you say it.
And if you don’t say it, someone else will do it, and it may as well be with you.
So I’m gonna give it up to my awesome partner, Pat Salerno.
Thank you.
Thank you.
More.
Let’s give more a round of applause.
Great job.
How we feel in Primerica.
Who’s excited so far? Guys? Not for nothing.
This is one of the best leadership schools ever.
I hope you feel the same way.
One of the things I wanted to ask you is how many people really want to become successful by show of hands? You really want to win no matter what, right? Okay.
How many people know a second language? Show of hands.
Almost half the room knows a second language.
How did you do that? Like, I barely could speak English, right? And you guys come.
You know, sometimes people speak a multitude of languages, but one thing were taught 30 years ago, success is a language.
And it’s a language that anybody can learn.
Anybody can learn.
If you just copy the behaviors of successful people, you’ll get successful results.
Does that make sense to you? Right? So we took a look at that, and, you know, we really want to win in Primerica.
Oh, look at this little doohickey.
I have to learn how to use this thing, too.
We all said the same thing today.
All right, let’s see if it goes up here.
Boom.
Nope, there it is.
We’re going to talk about the ABCs of the business, right, guys? And when we first learned English, didn’t we make a song out of the ABCs? Right.
Right or wrong, that goofy song.
Like, how are we going to teach each, like, how are we going to learn to speak? And they made a little jingle, and you all know it, right? It’s the same thing here.
It’s the same thing here.
Copy the things that you heard throughout today, and you’re going to win, too, guys.
I can’t believe so many people went across stage.
Let’s give everybody a round of applause that got recognized for anything you guys did today.
How are we going to get that done? Well, first of all, what does the a stand for? Always bring people.
I remember, you know, this being told to us, right.
The word bring means pick them up and bring them to the office.
Don’t just like kind of make a, you know, a hope that someone’s going to show up, say, hey, parking is limited at our office.
How about this? I have to pass through where you live anyway.
How about I pick you up and we’ll go together? Does that make more sense? That’s a little concept about how you could bring people instead of just hoping that they show up, but always bringing people, guys, event to event, you know, Paulie, hit it on the head.
The next event, Monday night, whenever it’s going to Sunday night, whenever you bring people, no matter where you go, if you have one or two people with you today, grow it.
When we go to Kalahari, guys, when it gets really cold out in November, and we’re going to go to the most incredible indoor water park, right? And we’re going to go out there, we’re going to have an event that’s four times the size that you’re in right now, and you’re going to be able to go with ten or 20 or 30 of your new teammates.
How big do you want it to go? It starts with bringing people and getting a new one of these.
The second is being a student.
Second, ABC.
Now, what does it mean to be a student? It doesn’t mean to do the least you can to get by.
It doesn’t mean to get to class late and sit in the back of the room.
Right.
It’s not that at all.
It’s about getting there early.
It’s about staying there late.
I don’t know about you guys, but I got pages of notes.
Who got pages of notes today, right? And here’s the thing.
A lot of the things I wrote down were things I heard but told in a different way.
Right.
So I can go back out there and be a better messenger of the same success tips that we’ve been hearing for so long.
And, you know, being a student, get fully licensed, guys, what’s stopping you from getting fully licensed? I mean, passing a couple of multiple choice tests that we give you the answers to is not that big of a deal.
Ce that you gotta do every other year.
Not for nothing.
That should be, you know, a couple of hours worth of work.
Be a student.
Just get this stuff done.
Get every license and certification that you could done and be a student.
That means that you could teach other people what you learned and then cheerlead the system.
Now, again, when we heard this, I used to think that I needed poms and stuff like that.
You know what I’m talking about, right? A cheerleader.
But no, what does this really mean? Cheerlead the system in place.
And one of the most incredible things primerica did is a few years back, they put together something called the fast track bonus system.
Because we had no bonus system at all.
I think one time they had something called a scholarship system that.
Oh, my God.
Like, you didn’t even want to be part of it.
But today, every one by 1000 unit, every one higher and 1000 a premium, about an $80 life app.
You could put over $200 in that new rep’s pocket every single time you show them that, you know, I took out a yellow pad the other day and I was working with a new recruit, this guy gage.
And I was sitting down, I was like, you know, you can make more money by us doing it right now and not waiting to.
Primerica figures everything out.
They truly do.
We can have brand new people getting $800,000, $2,000 bonuses, and then getting a license to start their new career here.
And lastly, you shouldn’t see that one yet.
So, guys, we’re so jacked up about what’s happening in Primerica right now, and the team is just on fire.
And what’s kind of cool is this is a family business, you know, I don’t know about you, but I.
When we’re home from something, we like to talk to my partner about the team, about the direction we’re going in, about where we’re going, and having hope every single day about growing.
And that’s the environment that my children have grown.
And I want to give big ups to nick in the back there.
He’s 20 years old, passed the state exam.
He’s on his senior rep, which is a big deal.
He’s a lifeguard now, which is awesome.
But he shows up to everything he could show up to.
It’s a big deal.
And partnership, not for nothing.
That’s the secret weapon of primerica.
You don’t have to leave your significant other home.
You know, my brothers worked in pharmaceuticals.
And a lot of times they would win trips or go to these different meetings.
The wives and the husbands were told to stay home.
They weren’t part of it.
But why do you think half of these things don’t work out in the long run? Right, guys? So here you have a merger.
It’s two people going towards a common goal.
So thank you, Moira, for everything you do for the team.
We appreciate you so much.
What I’m going to do right now, if we can have Moira and Denise come on up real quick and, guys, I’ll bring you back.
Not that long ago, were at a friend’s house for a barbecue.
I’m going to one after this today, too.
How many people go to things like that, right? And were sitting around a fire in one of my buddy’s backyards.
And my friend Nick comes over to me and he goes, you know, path, do me a favor.
Don’t talk to Mark.
He’s not going to be interested.
Now, first of all, that’s a good testament to me because that means that he knows I’m going to talk to people.
You know what I mean? And he’s already excluding Mark from primeric because he’s in a different business.
He won’t be interested.
But not for nothing, I did talk to Mark that day.
And I did plant the seed.
And Mark wound up coming on board in Primerica.
He wound up moving to Tampa.
I’ve never been to Tampa before I met Mark.
And Mark was anti Florida guy.
Like, he was like, I’ll never live in Florida.
But he’s got property and a house and everything.
I mean, it’s really set for him right now in a big way.
But today is a special day because we’re going to be recognizing Mark.
If you can come up real quick.
So, guys, not for nothing, when Mark was getting recognized today, not only was he in the personal categories, he was in the base shop categories, competing amongst the regional vice presidents, which is a big deal.
So he’s an RVP.
Just doesn’t have it.
Doesn’t have the contract yet, but went over a milestone today.
It was $50,000 wad.
So let’s give him a round of applause.
Thank you.
No, no.
Hold that.
Awesome.
I gotta thank.
Thank you.
I gotta.
I gotta thank people ahead of time.
Yeah, right.
Time to get the ring.
I hear there’s a matching ring that goes with it.
So we gotta do that.
I gotta thank a couple people first.
My lovely, my partner in this business, Sandy, is not here today.
She said, say hello to everybody.
She is missing it for a good reason.
But she’s the one that keeps me going.
She’s the one that keeps me straight and on the straight and narrow.
Pat.
The next goes to Pat and Moira.
Look, I moved down to Tampa.
They moved to Tampa, too.
That’s dedication.
That makes it all the difference.
Because you have somebody else to bounce ideas off of merger with your upline.
That’s my upline.
That’s it.
That’s awesome.
And I learned a lot of what I know from Pat or from 770381 1000 where he said, just go figure it out, which is good.
But we did it, and it’s now starting to become a thing.
My team, I’ve decided this was a team effort, but I haven’t been a very big recruiter.
And I’m thinking more and more all the time, and I’m doing I need to recruit.
But I think that if I could say to anybody and everybody how you could do something like that is recruit and build your team in your likeness.
And what we’re trying to do is build our team and our likeness.
We don’t want everybody on our team to be securities licensed.
We expect everybody on our team to be licensed.
Coop.
So with that in mind, everybody does that.
We do securities.
We love that.
But the part of it that comes along with it is the insurance as well, which is good.
So we are just loving what’s going on.
We’re growing.
We’re expecting it to go big.
And like you said, there’s a ring in it.
Now we just got to get the matching ring for it.
So thank you.
And Joe, thank your officers.
Thank you.
And Denise, you guys are always there.
And Joe and Denise have been down to visit us.
So thank you.
All right.
Mark Velapaldi.
