Man, we’re so excited to meet again.
So we want to also thank honestly John Lavin who always plugging us like you know, to the big event.
I remember the first time like you know, went to the gym school that was in 2008.
It was like, you know, a few of us got there and.
But we love the competition and we came back, we said we’re going do something big.
And you know, it didn’t last for that long.
So we moved up to Tampa Bay.
And Dave, Iris, I want to thank you and your wife because you put that school for us there.
So all the IVP’s promote there.
So let’s put it for one more time for David in the house.
So you guys such a great people here.
So there is no hierarchy right now without you guys and teammates.
Again, thank you so much for everything.
Listen, last year, like I said, it wasn’t one of the best year for us.
Okay? Best year.
Let me tell you something.
What happened last year.
So last year, so we have Geneva Forrest on their raising verde cost over 100,000.
Elizabeth Fabian on their Senate over 100,000.
Mary Beatrice Jean Paul under one hour centrist 100,000.
Gene Feito under.
David Bernard is 100,000 new $100,000 earner.
Wash devastating 100,000.
Vanya Grumpoff from 100,000 to 200,000 direct to me.
Listen, you heard of wood daddies like you know she had, she was a zero income in 2023.
She increased to 200,000 last year.
David Brennan has moved from 200,000 to 300.
Increased by 100,000.
Juden Nikki on their ways again like you know, 300,000 increased by 100,000 last year.
Georgia Baris, he got like last year.
Listen to this.
He increased by $300,000.
He got the second diamond, the third diamond and the fourth diamond last year which is for 400,000.
Great job.
Well, Jose, and then we zillion thirty again increased 200,000 last year.
Tesla and get ASNI.
There were about $853,000 for December 2023.
That dropped about $400,000 increase.
Timothy, listen.
You know it’s amazing because people say, well, what’s going on? Let me tell you what’s going on.
It’s very simple.
So from 2023, the whole hierarchy, we could have about 4,200 people.
But last year we could have about 11,000.
337, that’s about 147%.
That’s a 7,000 more people coming the door, okay? So not only that, premium wise, we did a $5 million of premium in 2023, but last year we did over $7 million, which is $2.5 million increase in our court number.
We also like in a license over 500.
We don’t do a good job on that out here.
But we coming because we know the problem.
We’re gonna fix it.
Let me tell you, all these things happen.
It’s not an accident.
Okay? Let me tell you why.
Because I joined the business in 1996 and recruit was not a big deal for me.
Because I came in an environment like, you know, if you just go to work and make some sales and make some money, you’ll be okay.
And it took me about four years to become a vice president.
I became a vice president in 2001, and then it took me another four years again to make 100,000.
That’s about eight, nine years.
And then I was making about $60,000 in life insurance and 40,000 in smart loan.
You guys know smart loans, some of you back then.
But 2008, something happened.
The crisis happened.
The smartest gun, my cash flow dropped from 100,000 to $72,000.
I said, oh my God.
It’s very challenge.
But this is when we made a decision.
Not too many of us at that time, we made a decision.
We said, we’re going to put the foundation, we’re going to change the mindset from selling to recruiting.
So and when we made that decision, say, you know what this is? When we come up with this shirt, like, you know, we could keep that out of recruiting.
On if you send it back and say, we could, we could.
All we talk about is what we’re quitting.
And then I tell you, from that moment, 2008, we made that decision.
Nine years later, the company paid us a million dollars.
It took us 12 years to make 100,000, but it takes only nine years to make a million.
What’s the secret? If somebody asks you the secret, what would you say the secret is? Recruiting.
Say it again.
What is it? So anybody that focus on recruiting, your problem will solve.
We all know about it.
Massive recruiting.
Solve every problem.
Of course, once you start recruiting people.
So things not going to go well because you got to figure out how licensing them, you’re gonna figure out how to train them.
But it start with what recruiting.
So I’m here to let you know right now, if you know, you sit down, you say, well, you know what, 20, 25, I want it to be different.
My Question is gonna be to you like this, what do you want out of here? Because everybody has their own philosophy.
So you come in.
So, like a lot of information this weekend.
A lot of information.
You process a lot.
That sounds great.
But the question right now that you need to ask yourself, what do you want? Because if you go back home, you don’t know what you want.
You coming back, there’s nothing’s going to happen.
But if you clear on what you want, great things going to happen for you.
But this is what I know.
At some point you got to make a decision.
Today.
I need you to put on top of your paper.
I need to make a decision today.
And decision has to be clear.
You know, if you say, I’m going to become a builder, that decision, like, you know, every day you wake up, that’s what you focus on.
Go after the recruiting.
Let me tell you why decision is important.
Well, they don’t pay people big money.
If you’re undecided, would you agree? I mean, a lot of you guys, undecided, you say, Sharma, you take four years to become a vice president right now, I mean, some people become vice president six months or nine months.
Esther, I remember Esther and Janelle, they become on the Senate test at nine months, they become a vice president would like, you know, come back like, you know, nine months, become a vice president, make over 100,000.
Why? Because, listen, when you are clear on what you want, nothing can stop you.
Undecided is the biggest challenge.
Most people are undecided.
Let me tell you.
It’s easy for you to be undecided because listen, if you have a job right now, your job paying you pretty well, you do primer part time, you say, well, I don’t do Primerica.
You know, that’s not what I wanted.
So I just want to prime part time.
You are not decided yet if you want to do power makeup full time.
And I’m telling you, if that’s what you want, it’s okay.
But you are not going to win here.
Can you make some money? Absolutely.
But you’re not going to be mvp.
You’re not going to quest the stage.
You know, people are going to.
That’s not what you want because you’re undecided.
I was undecided myself for more than nine years in prime America.
I was going to school, my parents said, you know what? Go to school, you know, got to have a degree.
So I said, yes, I’m fighting with them back and forth.
I said, I want to do Primerica, but it depends I want to do something else until I make a decision.
That’s what I want.
Everything change.
Now, the second thing that you got to do beside the decision, you got to commit to it.
Commitment.
Why commitment? Let me tell you why it’s important for you to commit it.
Because challenge will come if you’re not committed.
If you’re not really committed.
When challenge comes, guess what’s going to happen? You’re going to back off.
Commitment, Commitment.
Make it easier for you.
Because once you come in, no matter what’s happened, people quit.
Guess.
Why do you keep going? Yes or no? Yes or no? If you commit, guess what? You don’t need somebody to call you to remind you about the meeting.
If you commit it, guess what? You don’t have somebody to tell you, listen, you got to come back here next time we have the school again.
Commitment, make the job easy for you.
The third thing that you have to do is consistency.
That thing almost killing me.
So now Eric did a great job today.
Talk about short term goal today and long term goal, is that right? But this is the, you know, I mean like, you know, he says if you’re not focused on the short term, you cannot accomplish their long term goal.
And people that happen every day to people.
Let me tell you what I found out.
This is what I found out.
No, people like you know, they have their goals.
The reason, the main reason, to my knowledge, that I don’t make it that far is because consistency, let me tell you what causes consistency problem.
Let’s say this is the starting line here.
You want to become our vice president.
This is the IVP position here.
Everybody’s here, everybody joined for America with a mindset to become a vice president.
But you start here as a rep.
Okay, you start as a rep.
Guess what happened? You’re excited.
You put your IBA in, you go into class, you get your license, you recruit few people with you.
You move while you are there.
Probably district leader or division leader.
Now all of a sudden your car breaks down.
That’s called distraction.
Yes or no? Now what do you think most people do? They step out of America and go ahead and fix the car problem.
Let’s say it takes you a month to fix your problem.
In your mind you’re thinking, well, when I come back, I’m gonna come back and start where I stop.
No.
Where do you think you start? From square one.
You start moving again.
You start moving again, boom.
Now, sickness in the family, distractions, problem, yes or no? Guess what most people do, they stop Working in prime America and go fix their problem.
Guess what? That’s after a month or two, you fix their problem.
Say, now I’m coming back.
Guess.
What do you think they’re thinking? They’re thinking they’re coming back from here.
No.
They start what, all over again.
So they constantly repeat themselves, start over again.
But this is what I understand.
Life is about problems, problem, boom, crisis.
Well, you gotta learn how to do both at the same time.
While you’re doing Primerica, fix your problems.
Car problems, keep moving.
Sickness in the family, keep moving.
You know what’s gonna happen.
Before you know it, you get to the RVP line.
This is called consistency.
The third one.
The third one, I call it hard work.
So all these people that you sequence the stage today, they all talk about work hard.
Yes or no? Yes or no? Listen, at some point in your life, if you want to do Primerica, you got to decide to put some hours in this thing here.
If you’re not lying to yourself.
I’m talking about 10 to 12 hours per day.
You’re not gonna do it forever, but you’re gonna do it for a short period of time.
And then in 2009, me and my wife, we sat down.
When I was making 2008, when I was making 72,000.
I look at my wife, I said, you know what? I don’t like the lifestyle.
I had to do something.
She said, what you gonna do? I said, I’m gonna leave my house early and I’m gonna come back late.
I’m gonna have to.
For three to five years, I’m done.
And seemed it was not easy.
Cause I put 12 hours in this thing.
So now I’m home all the time.
My wife said, do you want to go to work? I said, no, I’m home.
But you know what? But the business built.
Yes or no? So I love when people say, shaman, can you teach me what you got? No, I’m not going to teach you what I got right now.
I’m going to teach you what I used to do.
You guys with me.
But listen, listen.
Mina, work hard for me is not a problem.
Because they say now, I came from a country that teach you, as a young boy, to work hard.
I remember by the time I was 12 years old, okay, my dad is a farmer.
He says, if you’re a boy, your job is to work hard.
If you plan to have a wife in your life, you got to work hard, okay? And then, you know, every.
Like in a weekend after school, he says, come and work with me.
When I go to work with my dad and the farmer, guess what? You know, I have to spend the whole Saturday to work with him.
But he give me a little piece of land for myself to work for myself.
Nobody’s gonna help me.
I do my thing after I help him out.
When I go to my dad, I said, I need this.
He said, no, I don’t.
I’m not going to give you nothing.
This is the piece of land you need to cultivate.
This, this is yours.
And at that time, I did not understand.
I thought, man, you are a mean dad.
But this guy was preparing me for success when I came.
In this country.
I don’t work, I don’t hope for people.
Give me stuff I don’t need.
You give me stuff, teach me what I need to do so I can go to work and get what I want.
Working out is not a problem.
So you see, like, you know, I mean, honestly, like, you know, this is important for all of us because, you know, we commute to work.
Yes or no? Yes or no? We know if we work hard, great things can happen.
Yes or no? AD says if you work hard, you beat 50% of people.
And if you live right, you beat on that 40%.
That’s 90% of people.
If you choose to work hard and live right.
And we got that, we’re gonna win.
No matter how you put it.
We’re gonna what? Win.
Can anybody win if they want to? Absolutely, if you just work hard.
Work hard.
For how long? For a period of time.
And the last one, Discipline, to my knowledge, is very important.
Did they finish up? Discipline, they said, keep doing the same thing over and over and you never get tired of it.
Discipline.
Let me tell you, I joined poor Mecca in 1996.
I cannot tell you how many people come to me, say shalom man, if you do this, if you do that, I say, listen man, you don’t.
Don’t worry about me, worry about yourself.
Okay? I was not making any money in Parameca, but I know if I stay long enough, I’m gonna win here.
Can you discipline yourself to wake up every morning and do the thing that you’re supposed to do? Let me tell you sometime about discipline.
When you just start, it’s a problem.
At 5:35:30 in the morning.
I wake up every 5:35:30 in the morning.
First time I started, they wake me up.
You know, after three months, I don’t need the alarm anymore.
I can go to sleep right now.
At 1:01:00, 5:35:30, my body is gonna wake me up because my brain already disciplined itself already.
So I’m gonna ask you right now, make a decision to be clear on what you want and the second thing that you gotta do and go to work.
Let me tell you to be ending this.
We unify the organization.
Every Tuesday night we have an organization.
You know, everybody gets together.
We have about 33 RVPs.
24 of us get together every Tuesday night from 10pm to 11pm for below RVP speaking one time of the month.
The first Tuesday of the month, below IVP gonna be speaking.
Last time we got 45 of them speaking.
For you to speak, you gotta do the 10 week words or 10 by 10.
We got 45 of them.
That’s when we got 45 RVP’s in the oven right now cooking me.
They’re going to pop up.
They’re going to pop up.
Listen, I am so proud to present this organization, all my IVPs.
You know you are.
Listen, we have such a great unity among us.
We talk about money, we talk about save money because all of us here to become financially independent.
Thanks for having me.
I have you guys the best.
Thank you.
