Video Summary
Keith and Danielle Otto share a powerful message about building more than a business in Primerica—they emphasize building legacy, leadership, and generational opportunity. Inspired by the concept of “family offices” in wealthy communities, they explain how Primerica provides everyday families the ability to create long-term generational wealth without being born into it.
Danielle introduces their children, Dominique and Blake, who both chose to pursue the business. Their involvement was never forced. Instead, they were exposed to a positive, success-driven environment filled with travel, mentorship, leadership, and family connection. Dominique shares how growing up around conventions, leaders, and recognition built her confidence and life skills. Blake explains why he chose to go full time immediately after college, deciding not to “waste time” working for someone else when he could build equity in his own family business.
The Ottos reinforce a core leadership lesson they learned from Hector Lamarque years earlier: build depth and duplication. Hector challenged them to increase directs and ensure others in their base shop could write business like they could. That turning point shifted their focus to leadership development and long-term stability.
Danielle emphasizes that leaders must always lead from the front through personal recruiting and production. Over time, as duplication grows, leaders earn the right to step back from personal production. However, exiting the field too early weakens long-term growth.
The presentation closes with a reflection on lifestyle freedom. The Ottos share how Primerica has allowed them to travel extensively, care for family members, eliminate financial stress, and live without regret. Their message is clear: money itself isn’t the goal—freedom, options, and the ability to impact your family’s future is. Primerica is simply the vehicle.

So one of the things you know is crazy as we moved to Naples, Florida, and everybody, like, all the people that get born into money, they all have, you know, like, what do we. What’s the proper term for that? Lucky sperm club.
I wasn’t going to say that.
I was going to say it.
No.
When we moved to Naples, Florida, there’s a lot of wealthy people in Naples, Florida, and everybody has a family office. And I was like, I never heard that term, family office. Growing up, we didn’t have a family and we didn’t have an office, so we didn’t have a family office. But one of the things that was pretty cool is I listen to these guys talk about building a family office and transferring generational wealth down. And one of the things that’s so cool about our business, and you’ll see some great examples this weekend of that, is you go build a business. It’s not just the business you make cash flow. It’s a business that you could transfer down generational. And one of the proudest things, we’ve been very fortunate, we’re very grateful to be part of this awesome company.
But one of the most, the greatest thing that’s happened is our kids came into the business with us. And so I wanted to just turn this over to Danielle and then let her talk about it. The opportunity, the way we see the opportunity for you and I to go build a business, we talk about building a company within a company. It really is an opportunity. I was a plumber, man. Was I going to give my kids my pipe wrench, you know what I mean? And the opportunity that we have to build something that’s significant, where you have an opportunity to impact people’s lives, but more importantly, or is just as important, impact your family’s life. And so. Hey, sit down. Thank you. And so I’m going to turn this over to my beautiful wife, Danielle. Let her rip, young lady.
Hey, guys, Lower that. Lower the volume. Thank you, guys. Thank you. Just want to say, before I get into my talk, I just wanted to introduce you to our kids. The best part of Primerica is growing a business and then having your kids want to do the business with you. And that is because we have so many friends and our friends that are not in Primerica, and they, I always say, well, you know, you’re so successful, wouldn’t you want your son or daughter to be in your business? And every single person we’ve ever asked that to said, hell no, I never want my son or my daughter to follow in my Footsteps. Well, that’s the privilege that we have, you know, as Primericans, is that by some lucky chance, our kids want to get involved with what we do.
And it just makes the meetings more fun. It makes life more fun, because now we just get to do everything together all the time, which I know. Denise Cardino, you love that, right? So I am so proud of my kids, and not just because they want to do the business, because they had every opportunity to do anything that they wanted in their lives. And I don’t know about you guys, but I didn’t have that chance. You know, my parents were great, but they just never encouraged us. My dad always encouraged me to have my own business, but that was it. He never encouraged me to go to college. He never. You know, it wasn’t. That wasn’t important to them.
But for our kids, we wanted them to have everything they needed and not necessarily everything they wanted, you know, so I’m so lucky that they turned out, you know, to be the people that they are. And they picked this, you know, for their career path. So I’m just going to have them talk just a couple minutes so you get to know them. And like I said, they had other opportunities, but they chose this. So I’m so proud of them for that. I just want to bring up who first. Oh, my awesome daughter, who is. She is literally my best friend. I mean, we talk all day long every day. She’ll text message me 100 times a day, you know, hey, mom, what do you think of this? Hey, mom, what? You guys know Savannah and Patty. What do you think of that? You know?
And I bounce everything off her. She tells me when I’m acting silly and stupid, and I tell her, and we just have such a great relationship. And she lives in Manhattan, so I’m there all the time. I’m there for. We always have dinner together. We always. You know, it’s just this family. It’s a bond that we have that I’m so grateful for. So I want to introduce to you my. Our awesome daughter, Dominique Otto.
Oh, this is so.
Hi.
Oh, I got to move up.
Okay.
Dad, did you hear that? Mom’s best friend. Well, you’re not, anyway. Hi, I’m Dom. I obviously have been around for a while. I grew up for all this time. I grew up with so many people in the business, like Savannah and Jillian, who I saw before, and Glenn and CEO joined when I was born. And it’s just been such an insane experience. I feel like when you explain it to people that haven’t grown up the way we’ve grown up, it’s kind of hard for people to conceptualize. And throughout the years, I’ve brought people to the conventions and my friends from high school have come. My best friend came, My now fiance came and was shocked when he first saw this.
Like, this is just an environment that you can’t make up, but you also can’t explain to other people until they’re kind of around it. I graduated from TCU back in 2022, and my dad had always said this was always part of my plan, but he was like, I want you guys to get a job. I want you to see what it’s like to work out in the real world, explore different passions that you have. And so I’ve been in the marketing world for about three and a half years now, and I’ve always done this part time. And I’ve started to ramp up on the investment security side of things. That’s what interests me. And I just love working with people and I love that it’s something that you can do on your time.
I’ve definitely been giving it more time to eventually come full time, sooner rather than later, like very soon. But my brother didn’t follow that. And my brother’s killing it. And I’m so proud of him. And I want to be in that environment. And honestly, like, him coming and I’ll let him speak. I’m not going to speak for him. But seeing him come on full time and that the insane environment that’s happening in Tampa, I’m like, should I move to Tampa? Should I do this now? Like, should I do this right now? And it’s just, I’m so proud of you, Blake. Like, you, I’m just so proud of you. You’re killing it. And this is what you want. Like, this is what you want for your kids, this is what you want for your siblings.
It’s just such a unique opportunity that we get to continue to build a family business. And the way I’m taking on the business right now looks very different than the way my brother’s taking on the business. And you know what? That’s okay. The thing is, I’m sure so many of you have a full time job and this isn’t your full commitment right now, but it can be one day, and I’m living proof of that. You can always make time. We all have the same amount of time in our day. It’s just how you choose to spend it. And so if this is something that you’re considering pursuing you can do it. I do both. And obviously, the goal is to come and do this full time, because what other place do you get to work with your family by choice? Like most people.
Not most people, but some people can’t stand being around their family. I love it. They’re my best friends. And just honestly, growing up in this environment has given me so many life skills. Like, I feel comfortable standing in front of the room. I feel comfortable going to talk to anyone. I’ve been instilled with these skills. And I don’t know if it’s just partially my dad, because we’re very similar, if you know us, which is not good, but just kidding. But this is just the best environment for you to raise your kids in. And you know what they’re going to see. Like, we saw you guys set that example for them, make that sacrifice, because you know what? It is so worth it. And as they get older, I can tell you from firsthand experience.
And I know Jillian’s out there now, too, working with her parents.
Yep.
There you are, Jill. Hey. We grew up together in the business along with so many other people. And it’s just so cool to see that your kids want to be like you. Your kids want to do that with you. And the insane thing that’s so cool that I still can’t wrap my head around is that we get to do it together, which is awesome. And having our parents mentor us has been an insane gift that I understand how thankful I am for, and I’m really excited for the future. So let me bring up my awesome brother Blake.
I just have to say one thing. And this is proud mama. Both of my kids are fully securities licensed. So if you’re studying right now, just go for it. Don’t give up. It’s not that hard. You just have to put the time in and you can do it. If they can do it, you can do it. And I did it, too. So everybody could do it. If I could do it, anyone could do it. So let’s put it that way. I want to introduce my awesome. Our awesome son. You know, he always gets to say my me, right? But when it comes to my kids, I can say my kids. Okay?
She’s always like, mommy’s baby daddy’s maybe. I’m like, that’s crazy.
So I want to bring up my handsome, amazing, cuddle bucket little boy. But now he’s 6 5. Blake Otto. I love you, honey.
Great job, mom. Good job, Dom. I just, like my sister said, I. I graduated, and I just took a Leap. I just stepped right foot forward and decided to go full time working with my parents and working with my dad. And he trained me right off the bat. And the decision in that was I just, like, didn’t want to waste not a minute working for somebody else. I knew if I spent, you know, a couple years, I’d just be wasting time. I would have always thought, man, what if I put those extra two years in a Primerica, and I just went full force? Where would I have been? And I didn’t want to give myself that thought at all. So I decided to work full time with my dad.
I know a lot of you guys are in that position where you really just want to get. You want to fire your boss, you want to get to that next step, and that time’s coming for you, and it’s just, you know, following the baby steps of it. But the decision right after college, right, going into working with my dad was an easy one, easy transition. But what I think the craziest thing growing up, just like my sister said, were exposed to just a different environment. And I feel like, you know, in Primerica, when you’re prospecting somebody, you don’t want to tell them everything. You just want to peak interest. I feel like that’s what my dad and mom did with my sister and I, right? Just peak interest. All our life, we didn’t really know everything about Primerica.
We didn’t know the ins and outs. We just got exposed to the success and seeing the company trips and all that stuff. So I think I was my dad’s number one prospect for the last 23 years.
But.
But, you know, my dad. I don’t know who said it, either one of you guys said that parents mostly don’t want their kids doing what they do. And I. And I realized that growing up, right? None of my. Not only do the parents not want the kids doing what they do, none of my friends at all. And I went to. You know, there’s a lot of successful parents from the school I went to and a lot of kids that had a lot of options. None of them wanted to do what their parents did. Absolutely none of them decided to pursue what their parents did. I always found that crazy interesting. I always thought, wow, that’s. You know, nobody wants to do it. No one wants to fall in the footsteps. And I think Primerica, that’s just everyone’s goal. Like, it’s just a different company.
It sets it aside from every other job that you have that you can’t own. Nothing is A family business for that. I think everybody who has kids in wants to work with their kids eventually. And the one thing I really appreciate about my parents is that they never forced us to work the business ever. They always, you know, baby steps. And they. I know they wanted to, and obviously they do, and that’s their dream come true. And I’m. We’re. My sister and I are proud to accomplish that for them and, you know, work with them side by side. Obviously, that’s what we want out of it as well. But there’s a lot of people in here that, you know, have kids. What do I do? I. I want to get my kids working with me, but I don’t want to force them.
You can’t, right? Just. You have to be that success story. The expose the success, the trips. Don’t miss a trip, right? Show your kids all the success and. And expose them to the environment. That’s all you can do. All you can do is all you can do. And so I just, you know, we really appreciate our parents, obviously, for putting this on, but just for the life, you know, the style that we’ve had, the. We’ve just been exposed to just something completely different that I only can hope to give my kids one day. So I really appreciate that. I want to pass this back to them and continue on. But you know what? I forgot to mention this. Everybody in front here, I just saw you guys. I was just looking.
I was like, man, all you guys were mentors to me and my sister growing up and just family figures for us. And it’s just like literally crazy to see all you guys in the front row and other family businesses. I know the Costello’s are here and the Picones are here, and there’s just a lot of family businesses that people want to be a part of. And you want to bring your kids around. It’s a happy, great environment and great place to grow up as a kid. So I’m going to pass this back to my parents now.
Thank you guys. That was amazing. I’m so proud of them. My God. So before I begin, I just want to thank Hector for being here, because, yeah, he’s awesome. But I want to tell you a little story and how we met. And it was probably over 30 years ago, and Keith and I and Jerry and Scott Fletcher, we, Joe Plumeri used to do this thing. It was Casa, and everybody had a bid on something. We kind of didn’t have that much money at the time, but were outbidding everybody to have a weekend with Hector and Jan, and we had to fly out to California to meet them. And so were like. I remember the Scott like it was yesterday. We were like, come on, we could do it. 3,000. Okay, we’ll split. Split it, and we’ll both go, and this is gonna be awesome.
So we did. We actually won the trip, and we got to meet them. So the night before. So I’ve known Keith now 33 years, something like that, and I’ve never. I’ve never seen that side of him. So his mom lives in California, and were getting ready to go see Hector the next day, and Hector called Keith and he said, hey, you know, before we. Whatever. Do you want to. I know you’re here early. Do you want to golf with me? I swear, I don’t think Keith slept the whole night. I really. Honestly, I swear. And can I just tell you something? I don’t remember anything. I mean, I don’t remember yesterday, honestly. But I remember this so vividly because it was a turning point in our career, and Keith was just so excited. So the next day, after we get to meet them.
And Jam was just like, such a class act. She really was very shy, you know, and I was really shy, too. So I was just hoping, you know, Keith wouldn’t stop talking, which he does so well. And I didn’t really have to say much, you know, but the lessons that we learned that day were. I mean, I think they really changed the way we thought about our business. And the one thing that he kept saying over and how I remember this, I really don’t even know. But he just kept saying, how many directs do you guys have? And at the time, maybe 10 directs. Not enough. It was very slim pickings at the time, right? And he. He just kept saying, you have to have 30 directs. You have to get 30 directs.
And I was thinking, how the hell are we ever going to have 30 directs? Like, this is never going to happen. In my head, I’m thinking that, but I’m never saying that. I’m like, yeah, 30 directs. 30. And we left there, and he also said to us, how many people in your base shop can actually write a sale like you? And I thought about that, and at the time, it was zero, you know, because Keith was writing all the premium. I mean, he always led from the front. Always, always out produced, out, recruited every single month. He was the leader on the leader’s bulletin for years, you know, And I think that was so important. It was such an important moment because he said, how Many people could do what you do, and honestly, at the time, nobody.
So think about your business right now. How many people can do what you do? Right? So what you want to do is get duplication of yourself, and then you go out there and you just do it. And so we got back, and I thought, wow, you know, we really have to change a lot of things that were doing. But he was always such a fundamental teacher that I know Keith related to that so well. So I just want to thank you, Hector, for honestly changing our career path, like, the way we thought and everything. And you’ve been such a good friend over the years. So I just want to say thank you for being here. I know you really don’t do school, so we appreciate you so much. Thank you. And like, yeah, he. He’s a. Definitely a class act.
And thank all of you guys, you know, thank you guys, so much, especially the first two rows, like Blake said, for having such an impact in our family. Family. Like, we’re family, you know, Like, Carly Press called me and she was like, are you gonna be around August? Blah, blah, blah. Because I’m getting married that day and you have to be there. And I said, oh, my God, like, how sweet is this kid that she cares. What if I met her? Like, these are the friends that we’ve developed over the years, Patty. I mean, it’s been such a blessing, really, Shelly, in our lives to have such amazing Jim and Kim, like Zio and Glenn. Like, I could. I’m sorry, I could just name everybody.
But I just want you to know that we appreciate you guys and we truly feel blessed for being in your company with you and seeing the success that you’ve had over the years. It’s been truly amazing for us. I just want to go back. I have a couple minutes. I just want to go back to the beginning of when we first met and what my role was then as a partner and what it is now. So back then, obviously, Keith was like, I need you to help me. You know, like, whatever. Like, wash the acetates at night after the meeting. Like, just the stupidest things, you know, that I was happy to do because I was so shy when we met that I couldn’t even look at him in the face when he was talking to me.
When we met, went out, we met on an airplane. He sat next to me, and I was thinking, oh, my God, no way. I’m not going to talk to this guy the whole time. And he didn’t shut up. Literally did not stop talking. So it was good for me because I really had nothing to say to him. And I thought he liked my friend, and then he liked me. And I was just like, wow. What? You know, it was crazy. So when we finally went out after six months of him constantly trying to go out with me, he actually met my. He knew my dad, who owned a pizzeria right down the street from his office. And he would go in there and say, I met your daughter on a plane. And she, you know, blew me off or whatever.
My dad would come home and be like, do you know that guy Keith? He drives a BMW. And I’m like, yeah. And so what? And he goes, I think you should go out with him. And I said, dad, I have a boyfriend. I don’t care about him. I’m talking about Keith. And this was six months of Keith going in and talking to my dad. My dad coming home, talking to me, trying to talk some sense into me. So finally I say, okay, I’m going to go out with you. I tell my father. And my father was a big Italian macho guy, you know. And I said, dad, that guy Keith. Oh, he goes to me, you know that guy Keith? Well, I invited him over for dinner. I go, you don’t even know him. What are you talking about?
I’m going to cook him dinner. So I said, oh, my God, Dad. Well, don’t do that. He’s coming over tonight to pick me up. We’re going on a date. What? He starts screaming to my mother, celia, get dressed. Keith’s coming over. And my mother’s like, who’s Keith? I don’t even know who Keith is. And don’t worry about it. Just get dressed. So Keith comes, he picks me up. He lives in New Jersey. I live in Staten Island. He thinks it’s like, you know, where he’s going to the end of the world. I don’t know. So he picks me up, we go out, and that was it. Like, we just. Oh, oh, I forgot one other thing. I was still getting ready, and Keith is downstairs with my parents talking about life insurance.
My dad went and got all his policies, okay, because we all had a whole life policy. My brother just got married. He lived next door to my parents. My dad calls my brother and says, bring over those whole life policies. So now I come downstairs and there’s Keith with my family talking, because he knew my brother at the time, too, and they have all the policies out, and I’m like, oh, my God, what is going on here? If he screws my family, I’M going to kill myself.
It was a $60 each way in a toll. $8 for the Gothel’s Bridge, $16 for the Verrazano Bridge, $25 to park a Little Italy, $48. I got no action. I.
So that’s how our life began. Okay? Keith wrote up my parents, my family and myself and my brother, who is newly married. And then as time went on, obviously, I got to know the business and I became more comfortable talking in front of people. I actually opened my mouth after a while, and it just became so natural, you know, because I think this business, this company changes you, always for the better. You know, if this company changed you for the worst, then you’re just a bad person. Because this company changes who you are for the good, you know, for the good. And you can do that. You can change yourself. You can start over every day here. And that’s why I love it so much. You could have a really bad day, and then the next day you’re like, on fire. Somebody.
This is a great example. So somebody said to me recently, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I haven’t, you know, I’m struggling. I’m here for a year. I haven’t met that person yet. And I’m like, don’t worry about it. You know, that person’s going to come to you. You’re a good person. You really. You’re working the business. You’re not sitting back. You’re not waiting for people to come to you. Don’t worry. Something great’s going to happen. That day he gets a call and. And he said, oh, my God, Mom. He said, you were right. He said, you were right. I just met the greatest guy, and I know he’s gonna be a superstar in this business. And I said, you see, you just can never. You just never know what the day’s gonna bring. You never know who you’re gonna meet.
You never know who you’re gonna run into. Somebody. Everybody needs what we do, especially now, you know, there’s so many, much chaos going on that this is a good environment, it’s a positive environment, and that’s what everyone needs. Everyone needs that hug once in a while, right? But we also have to be, you know, we also run a business, too, so you can’t be hugging everybody, you know, after a while, if they’re not doing what they’re supposed to be doing, you need to go next and move on. So we have to get better at that also, you know, stop trying to motivate people. Like he said, you cannot motivate anyone. And when people ask Keith that question, I just cringe because I think nobody motivated him. He is the most motivated person. Why? Because he wanted something more out of his life.
You know, he wanted to provide for me, my kids, my parents, his mother. I mean, honestly, we take care of a small country. I mean, I think it’s insane the money we spend on people in our lives, but it’s our pleasure, right? Like, we want to do that. My parents have lived with us for the last 20 something years. We have taken care of my parents. Like they, like, it was almost like they were his parents, you know, never, he never complained. You know, my dad passed away last year. And, you know, and he always said to Keith, like, you added 20 years to my life. You add just no stress in my life. And taking away every single bill he ever had.
And he was a proud guy, you know, we always had to do it, like, sneakily, you know, I don’t know, he just was too proud. But he appreciated that. And he knew. And his one thing, he always used to say, and he used to make me laugh, you know, he’s really Italian, like, you know, and he is like, you know, and he would go, hey, what’s going to happen when Keith, you know, runs out of people to go see? Then what are you going to do? And I’m like, I don’t know, dad. You know, like, I’m hoping that never happens, but I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. And thank God I never listened to him on that one because he would have talked us right out of the business, you know, and he was just worried, like.
And some of you are worried, like, what’s going to happen if I don’t produce? What’s going to happen? You know, listen, you. You can turn your life around. It’s up to you. It’s not up to anybody else in your business. If you’re not personally recruiting and personally writing business, then you are not working. I’m sorry. You have to lead from the front. Always, right? Always, always lead from the front. People will follow you. And then guess what? You don’t have to do that anymore. I don’t think Keith’s wrote a personal sale in 25 years, right, to make money. Maybe he did it to train someone, but never to make money. So you have to do that for a certain amount of time before you then have a team that’s following you and that you don’t have to worry about that anymore. Right.
And Hector’s biggest thing, he’s always said is, my biggest regret in Primerica is that I got out of the field too early. Don’t let that be your regret. You know, you have to have no regrets in life. And I think that’s the greatest thing about our life is I honestly can say, if God takes me tomorrow, I do not have one regret in my life. I did everything that we ever could ever possibly do. You know, whether it’s, you know, taking care of people or taking care of ourselves. We raised two great kids together. Like, I am not afraid of what’s to come. I just feel that we’re not ready yet for that. We still have a lot more stuff to do, but I feel no regrets.
And I don’t know how many of you could say that when you’re at a job every day and somebody’s telling you what to do and you hate your life, that doesn’t have to be you. You were invited here this weekend for a reason. Maybe somebody is going to spark something in you that’s going to change your life, change your career, change everything that you’re thinking about. You can do it. I just want you to know, listen, I owned a nail salon. Keith was a plumber. We. This life is ridiculous, you know, it is so ridiculous. And I’m going to end. I just want Wilma to. And thank you, Wilma, Raquel and Dominique Dom did the awards. She ordered all these beautiful awards. And the girls really work so hard putting this together and so does Keith.
I just show up, you know, it’s so nice now. I just show up. But I just say thank you guys so much because we appreciate you, everything that you do. Running the. I mean, this production takes months to put on, right? So we’re thankful for you girls, really, from our heart. We love you. So we’re just gonna. I’m just gonna show the. My slides. Do I do that? So as we’re going through this just real fast, I just. Nope.
Oh.
Okay. So we cannot top Patty Schachter, but in the last nine months, we’ve been to Dubai, the Maldives, France, Provence, St. Tropez for a month. We stayed in France in May, which was incredible. And if you ever get the chance to do that, it’s spectacular. But for Keith’s 60th birthday, we did Dubai and it was one of the best trips we ever had with our kids. Everything was first class, from the Emirates flight to the seven star hotel that we stayed at, Alabaj. Whatever, Khalif, whatever that was to then Keith and I going to the Maldives. It was amazing. We did. This was San Tropez. And then from there we did a whole month there in. In Provence. And in the end we ended up. Oh, this was a really cool castle we stayed at. I don’t every day we had fresh food.
We just had the best time. It was just the two of us. And it was just so nice to rent a house like that and just travel the countryside. And that was like a little favorite little car that we had. I mean we just had such a blast together and I just loved every minute of it. At the end we did the F1 race in Monaco. We had met some friends there and I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced that, but wow, what an experience that was. After we left, went to Vegas and then we did our lake house 4th of July with the Presslers and then where was that? Oh, then Whistler with the company. And what was that? I don’t even know. Vancouver, which was amazing. Then we did company trip to Vegas.
Then my daughter and my new son in law got engaged after we did Vermont. I am building a house in between all this and it’s going to be awesome. It’s a big French farmhouse. After that, Keith and I got on a plane, went to France. I got to go to Paris, do a little shopping. After Paris, we met our kids in. Where’d we go? Munich. And we did Oktoberfest. That was September. That was a great time. Keith’s not allowed back. Then went to Berlin and that was my birthday. We were in Miami. And then we just had Jimmy, Kim Hogan, Matt Blake and a couple there guys at our lake house. We also did our lake house with Patty Schechter this year. Joe and Denise Cardino and the Presslers, they got to come twice this year. Kids. And that is.
That’s it, you know, that’s our life. That’s nine months of do whatever the hell you want to do, right? And just. And just live your life. Live your life. Live every moment like it’s your last and you will have a great, great life. So thank you guys for being here this weekend. I hope you get everything you want out of this school.
That’s great stuff, baby. And by the way, you know, Hector talked about traveling. Patty will talk probably a little bit about traveling tomorrow when she speaks. And I said to somebody the other day, they go, well, you know, you travel a lot, Keith, Aren’t you ever. Don’t you ever get tired like I can’t keep up with you. My brother goes, where are you? He goes, I have to look on Instagram to see where you are. Not including this. I did New Zealand for two weeks and Australia for two weeks to play golf. And then Jimmy hosted us out there. Beautiful club. We had a blast in Ireland. Danielle didn’t qualify for that trip. And then we’re here. We’re going to fly to Atlanta on Tuesday, and then we’re at our lake house for Thanksgiving and. And then we’re going to London for the holidays.
And then. Thank you. And then we’re going to London for the holidays and then coming back. And so these are the things that I only dreamed. I went to the Jersey shore and had to. Sheriff 14 people in one bedroom house in Belmar and talk about contraception. Imagine that, right? Like, it’s just the opportunity that Primerica affords you, gives you know. You know, one of the things that some of these guys are doing, the lifestyle they live. You know, Hector was saying he’s got a house in Vegas, a house in Cabo, and some of you probably sitting there going, well, I don’t like one of those places. Then don’t buy a house there. I think what Primerica is for us, it’s a vehicle. It’s a vehicle for you and I to go accomplish whatever we want to accomplish.
One of my goals this year is to travel less and stay in Naples a little bit more. She likes New York. We’re getting along a lot better. She’s in New York and I’m in Naples. But one of the things that’s pretty unique is you and I get an opportunity to build a business. Any way we choose to go do that. And so we share that with you. Not to be like, hey, look what we got. We share that with you because maybe whatever you want to, maybe some of you guys want to take care of your parents. I have my in laws live with me because my mom’s a cuckoo bird. This way she wouldn’t live with me, okay? But we get to choose what we want to do and who we want to spend our time with.
I heard someone say years ago, man, every decision we make, and no bullshit, not one decision we make is based upon money. And when people go, you know, money’s not everything. It’s just food, shelter and freedom.
That’s all it is.
People go, it’s money. Well, give me all yours then, right? You never go to work. And they say, money’s not everything. You know, they offer you a raise, you go, please stop. Money’s not everything. I like to stay where I’m at. What it does, all it does is it gives you options. And when people say money’s not everything, for these guys in the front row, money’s nothing. They don’t make any decisions based upon money. When money’s really not anything, then the car you drive, where you travel, how you travel, whether you fly private, you make decisions. What you want to do, when you want to do it, and live that life, and that’s what Primerica can afford you to do. And just take a page out of what these guys have done and this leadership has done. Thank you.
