Kwame opens with high energy, emphasizing that being in the right place at the right time only matters if you bring excitement. He believes excitement is contagious and foundational to leadership. Without enthusiasm, it is difficult to inspire others to follow.
He shares his real estate background and how learning financial concepts like compound interest and the Rule of 72 shifted his perspective. Understanding long term growth through small consistent investments strengthened his belief in the opportunity.
Theresah continues by focusing on discipline and perspective. She shares a powerful idea: you cannot have a million dollar dream with minimum wage habits. Over the past few years, they faced significant personal challenges, spending four to six hours daily supporting a sick family member. Instead of allowing the situation to become an excuse, they reframed it as an opportunity to value flexibility and time freedom.
After recently experiencing loss, they chose not to slow down but to reignite their business with urgency. They reengaged inactive teammates, brought fourteen people to the meeting, and committed to building independent leaders. Their message is clear: obstacles are not barriers unless you allow them to be. Excuses cannot be deposited into a bank account, but consistent effort can.

Guess what? We are in the right place, right time with the right company. I am fired up, excited. I can’t stand it. But this is what is going on. Knowing that we’re in the right place with the right company, you got to get excited. Excitement is what really drive the momentum, right? So when I was introduced to the company, man, I go crazy because I was told this 99% of being a winner. You got to be excited. Nobody don’t want to follow a doggone disillusion crybaby, right? So that means you got to get excited and go after it. So, guys, I speak six language. English is maybe the sixth one. So I want you to pay attention, right? I’m going to just take a few minutes and just give a big shout out to our best coach in the house.
Let’s give it up for Keith and Danielle. And also let’s give it one more time for the Bonita Spring office. And last, not the least, we have the KT Kingdom Builders in the house. Guys, give it up for the KT Kingdom Builders. So like coach was saying, my background was real estate. You know, I went to Detroit Mercy University of Detroit Mercy. So straight from college, I was just fortunate to be introduced to Primerica. When I saw the opportunity, I thought I got it going out because if you live in Detroit seven miles, you got to be flashy, flash with no cash, right? So I was just down the street, back and forth, do my own thing with my parents who own a bunch of real estate agents.
But the lady that actually came, I mean, she came across me, talked to me about Primerica and I didn’t understand what she was saying. I’m like, okay. But I was just trying to get a number in the first place. So I pretend I got it going on. So I got introduced, I came to my first meeting and boy, I didn’t understand the rule of 72. I thought I was so smart. But when I get introduced and I come find out that I can put a little bit and let it compound, that’s what really got me to this company. I don’t want to take too much time. I’m going to bring up my super incredible. I call her the smooth operator. She speaks faster 10 times. So I’m going to hand it over to my one and only superstar.
Hello, teammates. Super excited to be here today. Just to share for a few minutes. I do speak fast, so you might have to pay attention a little closer. Okay, So I want to talk about opportunity. And obstacle creates opportunity because that’s the one thing that we’ve been living through and creating momentum and being consistent with that. I heard this quote and it really resonated with me and it says that you cannot have a million dollar dream with a minimum wage habit. And that is so true. Right? Because we all want something big, but our habits and our actions don’t match up to what we want.
The last three years or so, we spent pretty much four to six hours a day in the hospital or in rehab with a father in law that was really sick, which means we couldn’t put as much time into our business. But that was an opportunity, not an obstacle, right? I saw something that was posted and it really made resonated again. I want to read that to you as well. It says that you cannot deposit excuses because excuses don’t pay the bills. But you can definitely differentiate your effort, your time, your energy, and can do that every day consistently to creating, building, licensing, recruiting and developing independent legs that can help us grow all of our businesses. And for that resonates with me. Right? When I look at our opportunity, I’m so grateful for it.
Because if we didn’t have the primary opportunity, where could you leave your job and go spend four to six hours a day in a hospital helping somebody get well when you know that you’re not the savior, there’s only Jesus, right? But yet Primerica gives us the opportunity to have the flexibility to be able to build whatever we choose to build. I’m so incredibly grateful for this company and what it offered that the time that it gave us to be able to spend with our loved one that you couldn’t find money couldn’t buy that, right? We need a time and that’s exactly what this opportunity will give you. If we invest the time building and recruiting and following up with our uplines and whatever we’re being taught, then we can consistently take that momentum and build.
We just had to bury him about two weeks ago and that was another milestone of going through that process. But man, we woke up from that thing and we’re just like, all right, now we’ve got more time and still no excuses. So we’re going to go build this thing. So what did we decide to do? We decided to get all the frozen dead teammates that were dead and bring them, all of them here today. We brought about 14 teammates today, and we didn’t do that before because we had stuff going on, but that was not our excuse. So we’re super grateful that Primerica gives us an opportunity if we want to build. And Keith and Danielle Otto.
We’re so grateful for both of you for just pouring into us, believing in us and never really giving up on us, and just really cheered us on the entire way to help us get to where we’re going. And we’re so grateful that we’re not there yet, which means we still have no excuses. Thank you so much and have an amazing.
