”How you guys doing? Alright, really quick.
C’mon, c’mon, c’mon.
My time, my time, my time.
So, alright, listen.
So, you’re probably wondering why they saying dance.
So, really quick story, right? Prior to Primerica, I was, I was a dancer.
Right? But, but, but, but, but, but, I did not dance for money.
Right? Right? So, I, right? So, my name is Ryan Watson.
I’m regional vice president of Primerica.
I’m watching my time.
So my talk is, say, is making premium attractive.
Anybody, anybody saw making premium attractive? Right? Making premium what? Attractive.
Right? So let’s jump on real quick.
So it says that people are attracted to you for three reasons.Number one, the way you look.
Yes or no? Number two, The way you act, right, or something that they have money or actually materialistic.
Would you agree? But I think something else is missing.
I think premium make you attractive based on the work you do.
Yes or no? Let me, let me hear you say work.
So right.
So can I talk about the work? Not the pretty part.
I’m gonna talk about the work.
You guys with me? So really quick.
Number one, assessor teammates, right? You have to be excited about writing 10k personal.
Say 10k personal.
10k personal.
Now it says that, number one, act like you’re going to write 10k personal.
Right? Number two, talk like you’re going to write 10k personal. And number three, walk like you’re going to write 10k personal.
So act, right, talk, and walk.
Who can do that? Right? It says there, number two, why you need to write 10k personal.
Who’s excited and want to know why they need to write 10k personal? So last time I checked, this is a district and division.
Right? You guys with me, right? So just to let you know, just in case you’re wondering why you gotta write 10, 000 as a district leader, if you write 10, 000 as a district leader, right, you make about 5, 000.
Everybody excited about that, right? After Advances, 3, 750.
That’s what most people make at their state job, yes or no?Good job.
Different story.
Division leader, you write 10, 000, you make 6, 000.
Now last time I checked, that’s a government job income.
Yes or no? Good job.
Right? But after advance, you make 4, 500.
And if you’re regionally like the guys next door, you write 10, 000, you make 7, 000.
Cordo, you write, Cordo, you make 7, 000, you’re like the man of your family.Right or wrong, right? T Mains, after advance, that’s 5, 250.
And as an RBP, you write 10, 000, you make 10, 000.
Everybody excited about that? Right? But after advance, 8, 250.
You guys with me, right? So it says, right, so it says here, 8, 250.
Personal production is something that I can always control.
Yes or no? Right.Number one, it says here for some of you guys, new people.
I never wrote an app before probably saying that I got to district by mistake.
Anyone can relate, right? I’m kidding, right? How about we start off writing one app a month? You want to write five, six, seven, 10, right? One first.
Then you start off with two. Then you started for three.
Then you started for four and moving forward.
You guys with me, right? Guys, it says kiss.
Keep it simple.
Stupid.
Yes or no? Let’s change it out.
Keep it simple.
Silly.
Okay.
Number four.
Writing 10, 000 personal has to be a mindset.
Let me hear you say mindset.
Mindset.
Teammates.
You have to.You have to.
What did I write, right? I’m kidding.
I’m kidding.
I’m kidding.
I’m joking.
I’m joking.
So it says here, teammates, right? You have to have 100 percent belief that you can write 10, 000.
Yes or no? Yes.
And I actually wrote this down.
It says here.
If you don’t see value within yourself, it’s going to be kind of hard to add value to yourself. So if you don’t see yourself writing 10, 000, I can’t add value to you if you don’t see value first within yourself.
You guys with me? So it says in number two, set up your schedule to write 10, 000.
It’s called a to do list.
Anybody has a to do list? My wife got me on to do list, right? Number three, it says here, right? You have to get up every single day knowing that you’re going to book an appointment.
Lots of us take primary care pay every day, yes or no? 365 days, every single day, right or wrong? So why are you not booking an appointment every single day? Right? Let’s go back a little bit.
So let’s say number three, teammates.
Let your why direct your what? The reason why you don’t write 10, 000 is because you don’t know what you want.
Because think about it.
If you knew why you have to write 10, 000, wouldn’t you do it? But you don’t know why you need to do it.
So find out the reason and what.
Right? Number 5 teammates, set up your weekly schedule, 2, 500 every single week.Let’s break it down, right? Referrals.
Recruits.
Recruits keep you busy, yes or no? Carl spoke about referrals.
Carl spoke about recruiting.
Number 2 teammates, stay in the right market.
Some 5 pointer, 6 pointer.
When I started Primerica, I was a pointer.
Anybody with me, right? So, I’m not, I mean, you know, now it’s a little different, right? So I believe in at least having kids, at least working, at least over 25.
If you’re married, that’s a plus.
If you got a business, that’s a plus.
You own a home, that’s a plus.
But my market is anywhere, can I tell you my market? Some of you guys want the world, no, I want my market.
West Indian people, you guys know, I’m from Jamaica.
That will stay on the books, from the ages of 30, from the ages of 52.
People say I have an old soul.
My grandma always say that.
So I think that’s why I gravitate to moment show women.
You guys with me, right? Again, know your market, right? Number three, emergency contacts, prospecting, beneficiary appointments.I just told you guys five different ways how to write 10, 000.
You guys with me? Wait, can I continue? Right? I got four minutes.
I’m doing good on time, right? Teammates.
Now I’m going to show you how to set up your schedule.
Now, if you’re writing this down, you might want to take this down.
Mondays, you gotta set at least five appointments minimum.I’mma tell you, I mean, we do more now, but this is what we do to at least write 10, 000.
Who can see us at least writing, at least setting five appointments on a Monday? On a Tuesday, well, Ryan, I’m in the field, I can’t set appointments.
Okay, book two appointments on a Tuesday.
On a Wednesday, anybody do power hour? In the office.
Right? Set up at least ten appointments.
Not 5, not 6, not 7, but what? 10! On a Thursday, book at least 2 appointments.
On a Friday, you book 5.
But Ryan, I can’t book appointments on Saturday and Sunday, because I have 30 40.
You can book 2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
If you do the math, whoever’s taking those, how much is that for the week? From Monday to Sunday? Isn’t that about 20? About 30 appointments? So, you just set up 30 appointments doing something basic, yes or no? Like I said, kiss.
Right? Instead of saying teammates, the more you prospect, the more results you get.
Yes or no? Period.
People are your inventory.
I feel that people don’t like talking to people because they don’t understand.Facebook, Instagram, listen, whatever works for you, that’s awesome.
But face to face never gets old.
Right? And teammates, I’m going to go over the last thing.
Instead of saying no to self, No, I’m actually gonna give this person three minutes left right now.
We’ve been, I’ve been in business for a while, but one of the things Fritz Jarrell always said, right?Don’t worry, Fritz, I got you.
It says here, and an unwritten law by Fritz Jarrell Scrier, the appointment you didn’t close is the appointment you didn’t book yet.
Keep booking.
For example, we went to appointment once.
Appointments was actually on, was it yesterday? On Thursday, once appointment, my wife and I, right? She sent me to an appointment.
Let’s say we didn’t close.
You know, happy answer.
No, we prospected someone on the way.
And Vinny, we prospected someone on the way, he said, I ain’t got a policy.
We saw him the next day, closed him, actually, actually last night, 10 o’clock at night time, 98.
YFAB.
And he wasn’t in my schedule. You know why? Because appointment’s here, closed appointment’s here, and what? Book here, yes or no? Let’s go, Jada, right? Now, teammates, listen.
This guy I’m actually gonna bring up with two minutes left.
When I first started Primerica, Fitzgerald Scott was a division leader.
Can you guys, can you guys even, like, see Fitz as a division leader? Right? I’m like, And by the way, Charlotte was a district.
I’m like, Right? So, so what I’m saying is if you want to write 10, 000, 15, 000, field train, go to our repeat, get in that room next door, but actually call our leadership team, hang around people that’s in your circle.
All the RVPs was in my circle.
I’m going to call it.It was a division.
Can they switch the division? Right? Hang around people, people in your association.
You ever heard, you ever heard of my mom always said don’t do drugs? Right? The reason why if you hang around people that do drugs, don’t let you start what? Doing it.
Well, Ryan, that’s not true.
You missed the concept. You tried it.
Why? Because you was around them.
If you hang around people that’s winning, right? 5, building a business, making money, guess what you do? Start doing the same thing.
Help me welcome our soon to be half a million dollar earner, Fitzgerald Spire!
