Welcome, welcome.
Welcome to our last event at Kalahari.
So this is going to be a memorable weekend, hopefully.
Hopefully you guys get a lot out of this weekend.
You leave with an excitement for your business so far.
We had a great RVP meeting with Willie this morning.
For those of you that were in there, it’s unbelievable what he’s doing in the state of Florida.
How many people do we have here from Florida today? How about New York, New Jersey? Pennsylvania? Puerto Rico? Puerto Rico.
Is that it? Arizona? Where? Arizona? I’m sorry, Jerry.
Connecticut? Connecticut? Zimbabwe.
Anyway, welcome, guys.
Welcome.
You know, we’re going to have a lot in store for you this weekend.
And like I said, hopefully you’ll learn something, take it and apply it to your business and to your life.
So thank you for being here for the partners that are here.
Thank you so much for, you know, investing in your business.
And your time is valuable.
We know that.
So we appreciate you.
So thank you guys so much.
Thank you, baby.
Hey, guys.
What’s happening? Excited to have you guys here.
Let me just kind of share with you for a few minutes one of the things that we do.
How many of you.
This is your first event like this.
Raise your hand.
All right.
That’s awesome.
That’s awesome.
Welcome, welcome.
So one of the things that we do is we in our organization, in our business, we try to get together, you know, the smaller schools, smaller events.
Once a quarter, we have office meetings once a week, twice a week.
But once a year, we do an event where we pull part of the team together.
And we did this.
This will be, I think, our 21st event we’ve done in this place.
What’s crazy is I’ve been here, I think, 20 plus years and never have not seen the water park yet since I’ve been here.
But it’s a cool venue.
Speaking about waterpark, there’s a waterpark for the kids.
We don’t let children in the meeting.
So if you’ve got young kids, please don’t have them stay in the meeting, especially if they make noise if you take them out.
That’d be awesome.
We appreciate that.
This way, we don’t interrupt.
Every speaker is going to be recorded.
It’s going to be an opportunity for you guys to listen back.
This weekend’s for you.
We just had Willie Naranjo, $7.8 million income earner, do an RVP meeting.
It was absolutely incredible.
You’re going to get a chance to hear from Willie three different times this weekend.
And you’re also going to have.
We have three or four million dollars plus earners here.
And you’re what you’re going to see for those of you that are new, how many of you have been here less than 37 years? Okay, cool.
A couple of you, A few of you.
What you’re going to see for those of you that are new is the fact that one of the things that everyone I want you to take out of this meeting is for you to grow your business.
We do a day and a half.
It’s going to be today.
We’re going to go to about 5:05:00 and then we’re going to break for dinner.
You got plenty of time to eat and do your thing.
And then we’re going to go to 7:37:30, our general session.
And then we have our breakfast tomorrow for our VIP winners at 8:08:00am and for the VIP winners, those are the people invited to breakfast.
But the general session starts at nine.
We’re not doing a lunch tomorrow.
Usually we do a lunch and then we break and come back after lunch.
We’re just going to work right from 9 to 1:31:30.
We’ll have you out of here early tomorrow.
But what I challenge you to do is I challenge you to take notes and what I want you to do this weekend.
The first time I came to an event like this, what I did is I watched every single person that spoke understand this.
They started in the same position called the beginning.
None of us had primary experience before we had primary experience.
And what you’ll hear is every speaker, when they speak, they’re going to take 10 seconds out of their talk and they’re going to say what they used to do for a living.
And what you’ll do is you’ll relate to different people in a different way and you’ll hear a bunch of different stories and a bunch of different experiences, but every one of them use the same system.
And that’s the kind of the blueprint for success.
And one of the things that I talked about is my wife and I are building a farmhouse right now and my brother’s an architect and designing the plans for it.
And I used the example in the RVP meeting this morning that we have a blueprint for our house that we’re building.
And the blueprint, when the house is built, it’s going to look exactly like the blueprint.
If we handed you that blueprint and you built that house in a different area, it’s going to look exactly the same.
Well, Primerica has a blueprint for success and what you’re going to see is commonality of all the different people that started in this business and took advantage of it.
So I want you to take some notes, if you can, this weekend of what you get out of it and what are some things that you can go apply.
So what I’m going to share with you is you’re going to gain a lot this weekend.
But I also challenge you to give up a little bit this weekend too.
Wilma, if you could pop that presentation up for me.
I wanted to share this and I was going through this.
This is what we looked at last year because we’re getting ready.
You know, we’re only 60 days away from being into 20, 25.
And Wilma, if you could pull that presentation up and if you look at one of the things that you’re going to have going forward is there’s things that we’re going to give up in our business.
There’s things that we need to change.
So there’s things we need to add, but there’s also things we need to change.
And this is the time of year I think it’s the best time of year to recruit and build in this business.
And I’ll share with you why.
Because it’s the holiday season and people start gearing up and they start thinking about after next week, we hit Thanksgiving and everybody already goes into the Christmas.
My wife already was playing the Christmas music last night.
I wanted to kick her out of the car.
But people start going into the Christmas zone and people start going into the holiday zone.
And then people start realizing they’re trying to pay for things, right, for holiday gifts this year that they didn’t pay off last year.
And so we’ve got to make some changes.
And so part of what I want to share with you as we go forward is there’s things that you’ve got to do.
One is you’ve got to stop doubting yourself.
You’ve got to stop doubting yourself.
One of the things that we have is we lack confidence in ourself.
But my challenge to each and every one of you is you better have confidence in this business.
Our stock just hit $300 a share.
And the reason it hit $300 a share is because the company’s growing and the business is growing and people are growing.
So even though you don’t have confidence in it right now, people have invested billions of dollars in our business.
The second thing is you gotta give up negative thinking.
Nobody likes to be around someone’s negative.
I use the example all the time.
There’s two people.
There’s someone when they walk in the room, they light up the room.
And there’s people, when they leave the room, they light up the room.
You and I get to choose which person we are, right or wrong.
The other thing is, we got to get rid of that fear of failure.
The worst thing you can get in Prime Erica is a no, listen, there’s a lot of shit going on outside of this country right now.
Crazy stuff that’s going on.
There’s crazy stuff going on inside this country, okay? But there’s crazy stuff.
There’s a lot of jobs and careers that people have which are dangerous careers.
Like, a bad day for some people is a really bad day.
A bad day for us is a no.
So the fear of failure, we’ve got to get rid of that fear of failure.
We got to get rid of that something we got to get rid of this year.
Next.
Wilma4 criticizing yourself and others.
It’s easier to be negative than positive.
This was tough for me, okay? I came from a construction background where all we did for eight hours a day while we worked is busted each other’s chops, made fun of each other.
Hey, what’d you comb your hair with? A pork chop? You know? You know, every.
Everything that we said was goofing on somebody else.
And all of a sudden, I joined Primerica and someone goes, hey, that’s a nice tie.
I’m like, dude, what are you hitting on me? What do you mean it’s a nice tie? Or someone goes, hey, man, good to see you.
Hey, you’re doing good.
Don’t look at me like that, buddy.
Hey, some guy slaps me one time and he asks, goes, hey, you’re a stud.
I go, easy there, buddy.
Right? Easy with the stud.
Easy off the.
I wasn’t used to a compliment.
I was used to most people, but who was cooler? Who could break each other’s chops? And one of the things I realized I needed to become an encourager versus a discourager.
The next one is procrastination.
It is amazing how many people put things off.
By the way, I’m never surprised.
I see people in business that aren’t where they want to be.
It’s because they put stuff off.
You got to get rid of that procrastination this year.
You got to make a decision.
Number seven is fear of success.
People have fear of failure, but they also have fear of success.
One of the things that you’ll find, man, when you get better, it gets better.
And when you get better, you have an opportunity to influence more people, and the next thing is people pleasing.
Don’t get so caught up with the way people think.
You gotta have the attitude, it’s none of my business what you think of me, right? It’s none of my business the way you think of me.
And I think what happens is we get so caught up worrying about what people think we’re so concerned about, you go do what you need to do, and you got to please yourself.
That didn’t come off right, but sometimes you got to please yourself.
And if you do that, keep that to yourself, all right?
