”All right, good.
So I’m excited to be here, guys.
I’m fired up.
You know, you know, we don’t take this lightly when someone asks us to play any type of role.
Uh, I want to shout out all the planners and everyone that did an amazing job, put together this event, the RVPs.
Let’s give them a big hand, right? And um, and since these guys are, you guys are districts and you guys are division, we’re going to cover stuff specifically just for you. What do you need to do? It’s going to be like real hardcore stuff.
No holding back.
All these speakers you guys are going to hear from, they’re going to give you all they got.
Okay.
So I hope you guys are ready.
I hope you got your tape recorder.
I hope you got your notebook.
I hope you got your pen and paper and nobody going to be telling the story. It’s not going to be that motivational.
Okay.
I know you probably was trying to be motivated today, but you got to come back tomorrow for that.
Okay.
We’re going to tell you exactly what you got to do.
Who’s excited about learning what they got to do.
Right.
All right.
So I believe the first thing is just understand the position and the role that you play.Okay.
You had a pivotal point in your business.
And every single person that ever made it big in Primerica, the same opportunity you’re in, there had to be a district and there had to be a division at some point.
You see, every once in a while, I had to convince my guys that I was a district.
They’re like, Coach, you was a district for real?I’m like, yeah, I was a district.
Like, you know, I was trying to get it going at one point.
You know what I’m saying? Like, I was trying to recruit, you know.
Um, but we, we, the people that made it to RVP, there was a district and they was trying to figure it out.
Uh, we got Vinnie in the back, Vinnie here, right?Um, that works for Franklin.
You know, I talk to Vinnie all the time.
He talks about stories of Joanne, sir, and and people that was a district, and Keith Otto, and when they first came in, and they’re making millions and millions of dollars a year, and they start off as a district and division.
Make sense? So you play a a very crucial role.So since you play that very crucial role, I think you should embrace it a little bit more.
You know, I was sitting down with someone the other day, you know, the guy is, uh, you know, is an insurance for whatever company he he sell for, but The contract level that he has computed contract level that a districts and division has, I mean, it’s so it’s crazy.
So yeah, I think you should embrace where you are.
Because every once in a while, I want to be an RVP.
All right, I get it.
You’re going to be an RVP if you do what you got to do.
But I think you should embrace where you at.
And then not only that, you got to learn how to dominate at every single level.
Okay, so if you’re a district leader, man, you need to be the best district leader. You need to be the number one district leader.
If you’re a division, you need to be the number one division leader.
Play your role.
Because eventually you’re going to go to regional leader, you’re going to go to RVP, right? So if you practice these little things, going forward, when you go to Regionally, to go to RVP, guess what? You’re going to have the mindset.
And you’re going to be killing it because, you know, now you’re in the mood, right? You already know what it feels like.
You’ve been there before.
It’s like number one.
See, you can’t be number one.
How are you going to be number one if you never know what it smells or what it feels like?So wouldn’t it be good to know what it feels like, what it smells like, what it, what it’s like to have your pitched on the latest bulletin, it says you’re number one.
Wouldn’t it be good to know what it’s like at some point? And what a better place to know what it’s like right now, cause when you go to an RVP, trust me, it’s a whole other ballgame.Um, so, you know, understand your position.
I believe that as a district or division, you should become fully licensed.
See, the theme of today is really for the next, you know, maybe about an hour since we’re gonna be here with you Is how do you be attractive? What do you need to do to be attractive? Okay, as a district or a division. So I think in order for you to be a little attractive, you know, play your role.
But not only that, I think you should go get your license and get them out of the way.
What’s the wait about? If you’re, uh, you should start studying the minute you heard.
That you’re actually gonna go to district.
And God forbid you made it to district, you should start knocking on those tests right, right away.Go get your investment license.
Don’t wait.
Don’t do what I did.
That’s probably one of the biggest mistakes I ever made.
It took me a little longer to pass my security.
I mean, there’s a lot of good stuff that came with it, right? You know, we learned a lot through the whole process.
But if we had to do it all over again, man, we would have got that stuff right out of the way.So go get all your license.
You can’t tell me you can’t get your license.
Cause all you gotta do is study.
You just gotta put the time and the energy and the effort to make it happen.
You know, so go get all your license, okay? I think you should have a, a, a focus on understanding that, um, um, um, you gotta do the work necessary in order for you to have success. And I think every once in a while, sometime, we wanna have success, but we don’t wanna put in the work, okay? So what’s the work that look like in primary America, okay? Um, on a daily basis, you gotta do the, the stuff that requires us to give you success.
See, it’s very, very simple.
Primary is not that hard and it’s not that complicated, okay?Yep.
I know now in, uh, we’re in a social media era where social media is like the thing and you could get so lost in social media.
Like, you could just be scrolling on social media all day.
You could go on POL, you could check out and see where everybody at.
You could show up at the office and like, like, you don’t do nothing but you was there. But I think you gotta do the work.
You know, if you work at a McDonald’s.
Or if you work at any jobs, or whatever you do, there’s something called a job description.
What do you gotta do, you know, to get the job done? And if you don’t, then, chances are you get what? Fired.
You know, I mean, you might get a couple chances, right? But after a little while, some of you guys probably been there before, right or wrong, right? So, what’s the work that look like? Okay, it’s very basic and very simple.
I know some of you guys know this.
Okay, but if I go around the room and I ask you this question, how much of this you got done? Uh, it’d be scary what the answer look like. You know what’s so scary, people? Well, I didn’t get the first one is prospect, right? Well, I didn’t get a chance to prospect.
Now, how did you get here today? Well, I took the train.
So, literally, you took the train and you literally just Going to, like, a, a, a, like, like, you just, like, so focused on getting here that you didn’t see nobody?Or I didn’t see nobody? Like, how is it possible that you actually took the train, you took two buses, two trains, and you took it, and you walk, and you didn’t see nobody? And I start thinking, like, the day that actually happens, I think we have a bigger problem.
Like, the world has come to an end, right or wrong, right? So, you know, so the focus has to be, like, on a daily basis, you process.
I spoke to Damien the other day, right? He goes, man, I was in the mall, I was prospecting, I was meeting people, right or wrong, right? That’s what you gotta do on a daily basis.
That’s what it is.
Right? You prospect, you meet people.
If you’re going to be talking to these people anyway. Why not just ask the question? Do you keep your options open? Okay, you know, you know, you know How you like your job if you could make more money? How you know if you could make an extra thousand dollars a month, whatever you say You can’t say the wrong thing to the right person.
So if you get in the habit, I mean Cordell is back there He was prospecting. He was prospecting, right Cordell? Cordell was prospecting.
Sheldon, who is somewhere here, right? He was prospecting.
So easy, right? He was prospecting by Donna At Target, he was filling out an application.
How easy was that one? Right or wrong, right? Just gave you a clue, right? What if you go to all the I don’t think they do that anymore, right?Everything is online, right? But watch this for a second, right? Prospecting, right? Invites.
On a daily basis, you’re inviting people to the office.
Now I know maybe he was looking for the most upgraded process in 2024 that’s working for Primerica people and how things has changed and what’s new around the block. Some of you guys has probably been here for a long time.
But the work you gotta do never change.
So it’s the prospect and the invites.
You gotta invite people to the office.
Or you gotta invite them to a Zoom.
Or you invite them to a one on one.
Now how much of these things you’re doing is gonna determine how much success you’re gonna get on a daily basis.Okay? But you gotta know that you gotta do them.
Because if you don’t know you gotta do them, you think you’re in primary.
You’re doing stuff, everything’s happening.
Ain’t nothing happening, by the way, for you if you ain’t doing these things.
Make sense? Right? Um, appointment set.
Scary.
On a daily basis, how many appointments are you setting?Well, how do you get a chance to set an appointment today? Like, seriously? Like, you went there a whole day, and you couldn’t even set one appointment? Nobody need life insurance? Nobody need what we do? Nobody need investment? Nothing? Like, you can’t call nobody? Like, what are we talking about here, right around, right? And I see people all the time, like, where you at for the month? Oh, I’m 1 by 0.
1 by 0? You’re 1 by 0, and there’s no, like, and you have 0 invites, 0 appointments, nothing said, nothing, ain’t nothing going on.
Like, you’re supposed to be, like, hungry.
Like, what do you think about Ryan when he, like, 0x0 for the month?I’m, like, scared, in the beginning of the month, instead of 0x0, I’m like, Oh, shit, I can’t be 0x0 for too long, man.
I gotta change it.
Every month, you gotta start over right away, right? But the mindset is, I gotta change.
I cannot accept 0.
Like, I can’t accept 0.
If you’re anywhere, 0 is right.
If 0 is next to your name right now, you should be so uncomfortable.I’ll be scared to eat.
I’m like, shit, I can’t even eat, man.
I’m 0 by 0.
I feel guilty eating.
I think I was with Brian the other day.
He’s like, Fritz, it’s the first time I see you.
I’m like, don’t do that.
Okay, I passed that stage.
But I remember there was a couple people.
There was a couple of you that said, oh, coach, I never see you eat. Why? Because I was focused.
Does it make sense? And I couldn’t, I didn’t have time to eat.
I feel like I was wasting my time eating.
And I feel like I could be booking, I could be doing something productive, and eating is the last thing that I probably want to do.
Now, I did eat, but trust me, you know, I was focused. So, appointment set.
On a daily basis, how many appointments are you setting? Now, whatever that number is for you, whether it’s 5, 10, 15, 20, but pick a number of how many appointments can you commit to on a daily basis.
Okay? And other than that is now doing the work.
You’re going to be doing the interview, And you’re going to be doing the, you know, the, the, the, the appointment. And that’s the work in Primerica.
Primerica is not that hard.
And it’s not that complicated.
How much you do on a daily basis now is going to be, it’s going to be up to you.
Now as you start building a team, what the focus should be is, now I want to develop people that could pretty much do the same thing that I’m doing. But how are you going to teach somebody to do something that you don’t do, or you don’t continue to do, and you don’t know what it looks like.
You never did it.
Like, you can’t convince somebody how to prospect invites and do the work if you’re not doing it yourself.
Does it make sense? So you should be so daggum fired up about getting this down pat.to make sure that so you could attract the right and the right people.
Trust me, they’re going to catch on easily based on what they see you doing.
Doesn’t make sense.
Okay, so I mean, I hope that helps a little bit, man.
I’m going to bring up that was kind of the warm up.
Okay.
Who’s excited about the warm up?That was just a warm up.
So the first speaker you guys going to hear from, okay, she’s a superstar.
I mean, she is crazy because, um, we actually, I recruited a pre, a pre recruited her.
And she was part of her management exchange on her way to go to R.
V.
P.
But does an amazing job on a monthly basis.
She’s a superstar in my eyes.I’m super proud of her.
And what she got going on right now.
We’re so excited about her.
Please help me welcome Donna Young A Potty! Donna Young A Potty!
