Video Summary

See, guys, a lot can happen in a short amount of time. Do you remember who was at the last event? Who was here at the last one? You guys, I spoke first at the last one. Now, for some reason, they decided me to put me in between Assad Farage making $2 million a year and Keith Otto making six. And then we got Andy onset after them making over a million dollars a year. I see where my future is leading me, right? You guys ever wonder why some people are successful and some people aren’t? Have you guys ever set goals and you just didn’t hit them? And then you set goals and you didn’t hit them and you set goals and are you tired of that? Who’s tired of doing that? Guys? We all are. What do you see?
00:52
Last builder school, I was up here, guys. I talked about building a hundred by 100 base shop, right? Who did it? Whoo. That’s eerie. Who is on their way to doing it? I hear you. See, guys, there’s. There’s three types of people in this business. There’s the interested people, there’s the committed, and then there’s the obsessed. Because it’s not up to us as leaders to decide what level they are. They decide that I joined this business because I was interested in making an extra thousand dollars a month. Fortunately, my leader said, you can do more than that. But who had to make the decision to do more, to go to the next level, to make the commitment? That’s what you guys have to do. See the interested people? And I struggle talking about interested people because it’s so hard to relate to them. Right?
01:54
But we have to understand that because they join interested, right? They’re people who like the idea of success, but they’re not willing to pay the price. They show up only when it’s convenient. Anybody have anybody not show up? Sorry, I’m losing my voice. I’ve been screaming and yelling at my team. Winning too much. They make excuses for their inconsistency. They get excited at the events, and then next week they’re gone. Where do they go? Crack that open, right? They talk big, but they produce small. Guys, here’s the real talk, though. Interested people, they love inspiration, but they hate execution. They post quotes online, but then they make excuses for everything. They say, I want to win, but then they act like a spectator. See, guys, if you treat this business like a hobby, don’t expect professional results.
03:02
And if you treat it like a hobby, it’s gonna pay you like it’s a hobby. You gotta become a professional. Guys. And then there’s the committed people who have decided to build, but they still have some limits in their effort. They show up, they hit some goals, they’re coachable, but they need some reminders. Did we all need those reminders at one point in our business? We all needed those reminders. And thank God that we have the best coaches that to give us those reminders. They’re also, they’re very consistent until life gets in the way. Anybody have some people that life got in the way all the time. It’s never the perfect time, but they do what’s required instead of what’s possible. See these, the committed people, it’s better than just being interested because committed people build teams. Committed people hit promotions.
03:59
They inspire other people to join the business. Here’s the problem though. Commitment alone won’t change your life. Commitment alone won’t change your life. You’ll plateau. You’ll wonder why you’re not breaking through. You’ll become complacent. I was complacent for seven years. I came from making $35,000 a year to $120,000 a year. It was great. But I wasn’t obsessed yet. I was just committed. Right, you’re committed until it gets hard. As committed people run the play until it gets hard. But obsessed people never stop running the play. Nothing can stop them. What’s the difference between every million dollar earner that’s going to talk on this stage tonight and everybody else that won’t see the success? They’re obsessed with their business. Guys, are you waiting for your upline to push you or are you gonna do it? Are you checking the scoreboard every day?
05:04
Did you check the scoreboard every day leading up to this event? Did you post the results to your team so that they could look at the scoreboard leading up to the event? The only reason that my team’s sitting in the middle is because were obsessed with earning them. Every day we talked about who can we get to come to the event with us. And then there’s the obsessed people. See, people who live this business, their identity and their hunger is so focused in Primerica. Are you in Primerica or is Primerica in you? That’s what it’s going to take. They don’t wait for motivation. They act every day with discipline. How many speakers said discipline? They treat every call like it matters. Every appointment is like Game seven in the World Series to them. They’re obsessed with closing. They are obsessed with protecting the families.
06:00
We have an obligation to help people. Are you obsessed with that obligation. See, guys, they don’t wait for motivation. They just act on it. As this level is rare, it’s where greatness lives. Guys, do you think that Kobe Bryant was committed to basketball? We got any Kobe Bryant fans in the house? I’m glad there’s five. Was he committed or was he obsessed with greatness? Do you guys know his story? Was he always the best? No, he wasn’t born the best. What did he do, though? You guys know that they published the Top 100 Basketball Players at his age group and he wasn’t in the top. He wasn’t there. But you know what he did? Who said it? Work ethic. He was obsessed with greatness. He said that I can outwork him. Tailing alone isn’t enough. You can outwork them.
07:03
They might better than you right now, but if you outwork them, you will catch them. And they’ll never catch you because you’re outworking them. Guys obsessed agents don’t wonder if they’ll win. They’ll prepare until it’s inevitable. They know they’re going to win because it’s all they think about is winning. Guys, in Primerica, obsessed reps recruit every day. They don’t take a day off without getting a recruit every single day. Obsessed leaders are obsessed with building a culture, as we have a phenomenal culture. It’s a culture of winning. Guys. Obsessed builders, they stay up late fixing issues and they’re up early running calls for their team. I want you guys to ask yourself, what are you doing when nobody is watching?
07:55
If you showed your calendar to your mentor, would your mentor look at the calendar and say, you’re going to be a six figure earner? Who’s ever heard Jordan, you should. You. All you talk about is your business. You guys ever had a family member? Man, you just need to chill out. We got a barbecue this weekend. Why can’t you come? You should be hearing that. If you’re not. You need to get obsessed with your business so that you can start to hear that. Guys, your family deserves for you to be obsessed with the right things. I could think a lot of worse things to be obsessed with than building a business that’s going to set your family free forever. Your future deserves for you to be obsessed with this business. Are you obsessed? That’s not enough. Not going to pack the seats. Sorry.
08:59
Whoever asked the question about packing these seats, it’s not going to happen because you guys aren’t obsessed with it. I said, are you obsessed with building? There you go. I’m glad you guys woke up from your lunch nap, what’s the number one thing that we need to be obsessed with? Are you interested in it? No. Are you committed to it? No. You’re obsessed with it. Is it going to be easy? No. Guys, no one remembers the person that almost did it. Be the one that actually did it. The one who built something that couldn’t be ignored. Not because you were interested, not because you were committed, but because you were obsessed. Get obsessed with this. I don’t want a single seat empty when we come back in January. See you guys at the top.
