Video Transcription:
Good afternoon, Primericans! By the way, we love Cardino.
He changed my husband’s name.
It’s Liseny and Samuel Nunez.
But we are so excited.
How many Primericans are here today? How many women and men of God here this morning, this afternoon, actually? Okay, I want to thank God for this opportunity.
I want to thank Denise.
because they always amazing leaders and they have pour out so much in us and me and Bernard and my teammates.
So I want to shout them out.
And of course, the Army Empire.
Guys, I want to keep it very quick.
Sure.
My name is Lisenia Nunez representing the Army Empire, guys.
from New York and Florida as well.
Okay.
So not just one state.
And I tell you guys my story very quick.
I started, uh, 2015 and I used to be a teacher assistant and a teacher assistant here.
No kids.
Okay.
And we don’t want the kids. And guys, I tell you, we made a decision.
Me and my husband, actually my husband used to be a mechanic and we made a decision to come to this company.
I was recruited by my sister in law, which she quit.
Okay.
Anybody quit? Okay.
They’re not here, but our business keeps running guys.
And I tell you this story very quick because, um, one of the topic that I want to talk to you guys about, it’s about being aggressive and committed and not just committed to yourself, but committed to others, not to others, but also your teammates. And I tell you this story very quick because, um, my sister, I showed this story because it’s very emotional for me.
My sister had to have a kidney transplant.
And God used me to give the kidney to my sister.
And I tell you this because some of us, we start thinking about, Oh, I’m committed.
Like, yes, I’m committed.I donated that day the kidney to my sister, and I was doing numbers while I was in bed.
And I tell you this because they said it.
Anybody went to Hawaii? They said, Okay, you might get sick, but your coat cannot get sick.
You might get sick, but you have teammates that are supporting you guys.
And we’re the ones that have to be an example for our teammates.Oh, I want you to do this.
I want you to double digit recruit.
Did you double digit your recruiter? Did you set the example? Did you promote somebody? So, guys.
In order for you to be committed, your teammates have to see you with a commitment.
This is not about saying, this is about action.
When I was there, I think I won the Hollywood studio, right?I think it was Bernard the Trip.
Because my commitment, I have a word.
And some of us, we talk about, let me tell you, the first thing that you say you have, like, you have to have it in your mind.
Whatever you say, You have to accomplish it.
Oh, I’m going to double digit recruit, but what are you doing? You haven’t even done the one by one.You haven’t even done the two by two.
But you are saying that you are committed? People are watching you.
Your kids are watching you.
If you want to see the really great image, like my kids, they’re watching me.
They said, Mommy, I want to go to Hawaii.
And I did my best to go to Hawaii.
And my kids had a blast. My husband had a blast.
Because we said, We’re going to get to the next level.
Never miss a trip, guys.
And it starts by recruiting.
Starts by being committed.
Starts by being aggressive.
Some of you might think, Okay, I’m very passive.
Stop being passive.
Okay, because that’s not going to get you anywhere.
Stop being like, oh.
Uh, I don’t like people, this is a people business, so you have to be aggressive.
I’m very intense, and I tell you these guys, how many people last night were working? For month end.
Came from Hawaii, closed business last night, and I’m here today, after the next day after Hawaii.
So that’s commitment, let’s go and make it happen guys, not just for you, but for your team, for your teammates. So happy to be here guys! Love my teammates, Bernal and Eileen Alorce.
We love you to death, guys.
Let’s go! Whoo! God, it’s so good, guys! Whoo! Good morning, Primerica.
So, this was very unexpected.
I’m gonna be probably bouncing around everywhere here.
But you know, I do want to say thank you for the opportunity.Thank you, Joe and Denise.
It’s always an honor to speak.
Shout out to the VIP hierarchy and our amazing uplines, our coaches, David and Joyce Kim.
We couldn’t have ever asked for better.
We love you guys so much.
And, you know, thank you for just being there for us.
And, you know, just to share our story really quickly, when I came into the business, I was just a stay home mom.Currently, I’m still a stay at home mom, technically.
Um, been a stay at home mom there for five years, and I was just looking for a way to make an extra income.
Just a little bit of money so that I can, you know, buy shoes and nice things for my daughter and clothes and, you know.
Um, I was, you know, presented this opportunity, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me because prior to being given this opportunity, I thought that, The best thing to do was complete my accounting degree, which I started just before I had my daughter, but Primerica changed all of that.Primerica showed me a whole new world out there, a whole new world that does not need a college degree.
A whole new world where you don’t need a resume with a ton of experience to go out there and be somebody.
To go out there and be able to build and own your own business.
And you know, I, I got my husband introduced to the business.Of course, he has to be where I am.
And you know, today we’re so thankful for the opportunity that we’ve been given.
Right.
And you know, for the new people, if it’s your first time here, I want to give you an advice.
And my advice is show up to everything.
Ever since we started this business, we have never missed an event, no matter what it was.
Trainings in the office, Super Saturdays, leadership school, even company trips.
We actually missed our very first company trip by just a few slots.
And after that, we hit all three of them.
Never missed any after that.
Showing up is the lowest form of commitment, and every single time you show up, you’re breathing more life into yourself, you’re gaining more mileage. And you’re doing better for your business and for your family.
At the end of the day, we’re all here building this business, just not for ourself.
If you really think about it, we’re not here just for ourself, right? We’re here for the people that we love and care about.
And if you really and truly love and care about them, show up.Show up.
Show up for the people that you promise to take through the process and help them to build their business.
Because they’re looking at you.
As Lesenia just said, right, and coming back from Hawaii, there was a speaker that, you know, spoke on that topic.
Somebody is always watching.
Your kids are watching, your parents are watching, your siblings are watching, your teammates are watching. The people out there are watching the people who don’t want you to succeed.
So you have to keep show up and show out and show them that you’re here to do better for yourself and your family.
And guys, at the end of the day, let’s not let ourselves down on our coaches and our leaders.
Do what they tell you to do.Be coachable.
That’s one of the things that I’ve learned being in this business is that your uplines know more than you do.
They’ve done it before.
They went through the process and they will never show you a path that’s going to lead you to a downfall.
You know why? Your best interest lies in them.
They want what’s better for you because the better you do, it, it actually, you know, the better it is for their business as well.So be coachable.
Don’t question anything that they ask you to do or anything that they ask you to say.
Just know that everybody in Primerica wants you to win.
So I’ll pass it on to my amazing partner, my husband, and my partner in business as well.
Yo, Empire Builders, you got em in here? Right.
Listen, I, she always leave me at one minute.Don’t matter how many times we have.
If it’s 20, I always get only one, right? That’s why sometimes I take the mic for us.
But, correction me, if you’re not a stay at home mom, you’re gonna be a stay at home business owner, right? What I wanna talk to you guys about real quick is reasons, right? We all, people always give reasons to not do something, or to not do something. You know, move in the right direction or do something that’s uncomfortable.
Oh, I gotta take my kids to school.
I gotta spend time with family.
I gotta do laundry.
I gotta cook.
I gotta clean.
You know what? Ten years down the line, when your kid is gonna ask for something and you’re gonna can’t give it to them, or they’re gonna need to go to college and you’re gonna can’t send them, you’re gonna have to find the next reason to tell them why you can’t.Right? So are we gonna keep making those reasons? Prince Coakley said something, excuses are dressed up as reasons.
Right? So it’s never really the reason, right? So you need, if you want to find a reason, find a reason why you should do it.
And that’s what we’re doing because we’re here to build a business and take our leaders to the next level so we can get to the next level and take people with us.So let’s go out there and fight for what’s right and what’s ours.
Let’s be the king of our jungle for our family, right? What’s up champions? You know, you guys are real champions for being here today so give yourselves a hand a hand So i’ll be sharing a little bit about why i’m going for the rvp contract All right, and yeah, all of us have our own why’s, our own stories.
You see, well, I wasn’t born in a poor home or a bad situation.
I had all the best things growing up.
In fact, my grandparents on both sides of my family had money.
They traveled.
They had a big house.
They had nice cars, but the type of business they had was tough.
They had to keep working hard to earn.
If they stopped working, they stopped earning.
Alright, they had to pay employees first, take care of overhead expenses, and then keep what’s left.
It wasn’t long after the business crashed.
Yes, it crashed.
Fast forward years, years later, my dad, my mom, they both got sick.
And me being the only child, I had to Drop out of college, get a job, bills had to get paid, food had to be put on the table.
Alright, so that’s when I made the decision that I’m going to do something differently for myself, for my family, for my kids.
I wanted, I want my kids to have the best education and the ability to graduate without having to worry about the cost of it.
I want freedom so that I can spend time with my kids and provide the things they need without worrying about the cost for it.
Listen, we’re all in such a business that if we follow the system, build it right, eventually, we’re not going to have to work for the business. It’s going to work for us.
Wait, you’re telling me if I work hard now, do it right, I can retire early and my business is still going to earn me money? That’s mind blowing, right? So let’s not just Go for the RVP title or for the money because if we want a strong business Let’s go for greatness honesty and integrity So I’m gonna ask three questions and guys you can answer these questions Would you like to earn a bonus at the end of the year?At the start of every month, just because you made money the previous month.
Yeah.
Would you like to earn 110 percent on every personal life sale or better yet a bigger spread on overrides? Do you want to be an inspiration to yourself, to your team and to others? Yeah, me too.
We RVPs, right? The RVP contract is not the end. It’s the beginning.
of something great.
It’s the beginning down the road for financial freedom.
We need to have a if she can do it, I can do it.
So can you.
Losers try, winners do.
So let’s go win.
