Good morning, primerica.
Wait, that was a little weak.
Are we tired yet? All right.
All right.
So, first of all, I just want to say thank you to everybody was here today.
Especially the people who had to call sick.
Right.
Who pretend to be sick this morning, right.
To be here.
Right.
All right, so shout out to you.
And this room wouldn’t be the same if everyone wasn’t here.
Right? Also shout out to our uplines or shout out to our team.
Quantum leap.
Team conquistador, Vipi.
Okay? Right.
And also, special shout out to all the leaders in here.
And especially Joe and Dennis Cardeno.
Right.
You know, earlier, David was talking about opportunity, miss.
Right.
And I was thinking about that.
If you guys know their story, right, they were already successful in their own.
Right? Right.
Successful lawyers.
Right.
And when they joined prime in the nineties.
Just imagine joining a company, right, and you had no office to go to.
Right.
You had to do it in hotel rooms.
Right.
And they had to live this successful career.
And they took a leap of faith.
Right.
That’s what we’re talking about.
What David was.
Was saying earlier.
You know how many people probably miss out on that because they didn’t see it? But they took a.
They took a leap of faith.
And because of them, and I see them as legend in the company.
Because all of us are here because of them.
Because they put New York on the map, right? So, special shout out to them.
All right.
Okay.
All right.
So most of you know.
Oops.
Knows my story, right? I was the most anti primerica person, right, when I first started.
Cause some of you probably have a great start.
But I did not want anything to.
I didn’t want anything to do with primerica, by the way, when I got recruited.
So shout out to diesel, my brother, right, who brought me on board.
Okay? Okay.
So eventually, you know, I had a different mindset and decided to.
To come on board.
So one of the most important thing we got to talk about is mindset.
Why? Because as we’re sitting here, we all have different mindset.
You’re receiving all the information differently based on where you are mentally.
Make sense.
So if your mindset is not right, it doesn’t matter.
You know, how many speakers come.
The message will probably go through and come out the other ears.
And nothing happened.
Unless you decide to have a change in mindset.
Okay? Right? So, first of all, we gotta know this is where we belong, right? God wants us to be here.
One of the things I always share with new people.
You gotta read this book, coach.
Because when you know where primer come from, it helps you become more bulletproof.
Because, yeah, you can help people, you make money.
But if you don’t know, you know, what is it that we stand for? Because this business is not a logical business, first of all, right? It’s a very emotional business.
So make sure you get your hands on that book, okay? When it comes to mindset, some of the books that we read along the way that help us tremendously.
Because when I came to the business, guys, I came from a job mentality.
I never own a business, never been in a business, never work in sale retail.
So I didn’t know anything about business, right? Matter of fact, guys, I didn’t even know there’s such a thing as people skills.
You know, the first time I heard of people’s skills was when I joined Primerica.
I’m being honest.
Think about it.
How many of you before prime, you heard of people talking about, oh, people’s skill is a science.
You can actually learn that.
I didn’t know that.
I thought talking to people, just, you talk to people, you get good at it, right? But I didn’t know you can actually learn that.
So those are some skills we got to learn, right? Mental toughness, we couldn’t.
Skill, people skills, leadership skills, right? And sales skills.
All those things can be learned, guys, right? Thank God.
Who feels that way? If you can learn that, right, then you have a shot here, right? Because if you’re thinking, wait, can I learn all the.
Yes, you can.
If you put the focus and the effort, right? So my beautiful wife, she’s gonna go over the different between a work processor and work creator.
Because when I joined the business guys, I was a work processor.
I’m still a work processor.
Learning to be a better work creators, right? And as you’re learning in this business, you start making, you start doing better, you start recruiting people, you start building a team, right? But you still gotta work at it.
It’s still a work process, right? Good morning to you.
So excited being here.
And I wanna thank our team.
We have teammate that are pregnant and I’m actually every event I have two small kids and then I was pregnant as those events as well.
So, Samana, thank you for not using the pregnancy excuse.
I can’t be here.
I can’t sit too long, right? And being here.
So when it comes to processing work, right.
For years I was a work processor.
I go to work and then how many of you guys are good employees, right.
For me, I was.
Some of us, like, we’re not gonna raise our hand because we just go to work, right.
But I did really well at processing work, right.
When I came to primerica.
And then we had to learn how to process work, but eventually change that, right.
So when it comes to follow mindset where they lack leadership awareness because you’re just processing the work because there’s direction that given to you.
When I was working, I got a schedule.
They tell me I had to be there, and this is what I had to do.
And I didn’t have to think because I just had to go to work and do it.
But when I came to Primerica quickly, I learned that primerica was.
They was gonna give me direction, but I had to create some work, right.
And then also instruction.
They follow instruction really well.
They have a employee mentality because it’s just work.
When I left work as well, I didn’t have to self improve.
I didn’t have to read menu.
I didn’t have to read an medication.
I tried, but you didn’t have to do all that stuff because you was just at work, you had a mentality of an employee.
I wasn’t teaching anybody either, because at my job, I didn’t get paid for that.
Right.
So also, when it comes to training, there are people that come to like, for me, I just went to work because I was told to.
So, same thing.
I came to training because I was told to.
I’m like, I might just show up to training, right.
If I was in Raleigh, how many of you like, most of the time, if people was in Raleigh, they don’t come.
That’s when you’re still in the work process and mentality.
You’re still at your job mentality.
Because if you, if somebody have to rally you every single time in the beginning, we’re gonna do it.
But after 30 days, you should know to just come to training.
Right.
And then also they’re most likely miss meeting if the leaders is not there.
Right.
We have an office.
Right.
The great Joyce and David Kim.
Right.
If David is not gonna be in training, guess what? Attendance drop in half sometimes.
Right.
But you have to ask yourself, do you come to training for your leaders or do you come to training for you to better yourself so you could move to vp level, right.
Also, they process information so they could use it.
So they could just use the information, but not to teach the information.
So how do you move from, if you looked in the room right now, right.
You see the rvps on the front? What they did was they moved away from being a work processor to become a work creator.
I remember, like, even when you’re in the business, I would watch what I would always ask myself, what grace will do, right? In a situation where you put people, you could put somebody in the same situation and they create something out of that.
And then also, we say they have a leadership mentality to become our vp.
In order for you to become RVP guys, you’re not going to become an RVP by just being a work processor.
You’re going to have to become creative.
Right? We say take initiative and improvise so many times.
You know, it’s like, oh, the leader didn’t tell me, for us, we still, like, do everything right.
Me and Alberto, we drive different cars.
The reason why we do that is because I have to go pick up teammates this morning.
We show up with five people in our car.
I bought an suv for that, right? Because guess what? When we was buying cars, I had to say, okay, you know what I’m gonna do? Instead of me buying Albert, Tony has a small car.
I’m like, I’m not gonna buy a small car.
I’m gonna buy seven at eight seaters.
The reason why is, next I’m gonna get a minivan, right? Next I’m gonna get a minivan.
But what happened is you have to become conscious of your attendance.
One thing that I do, and we learned that from Ray and Carol, is take attendance.
Every single training I took attendance, I put d next to the direct, and then I put teammates.
Every single meeting, right now I have a meeting.
David asked me, how many teammates you have there, right? I didn’t have to think, I know how many teammates, because my notebook, I have it in my notebook, right? So you have to do that.
You cannot just process information here.
You gotta learn everything that you learn for the weekend.
You gotta go use it back to our batoni.
In this business, right, this is what you can last month, right? The highest.
For example, somebody asked me the other day, what’s the lowest income I can make? I said, listen, you can make whatever you want.
I just showed this, right? I was like, oh, somebody make 107 last month? And then guess what? The highest person in prime Eclass make over 779,000 in 30 days.
So you pick and choose whatever it is that you want to make here.
You decide.
It’s up to you.
There’s a range.
You want to make little money, you want a big money, you want to make super galactic money, it’s up to you.
All you got to do is have the mindset to go from work processing to a work creator, and the rest is history.
Glad to be in business with you guys.
Let’s bring up the awesome legend, Joe Cardinal.
