Man, I can’t believe we’ve been envisioning this day for so long, guys.
Hey, for those of you that don’t know us, we’ve been in the company for a while, but were not even the fastest horse out of the gate, right? But guess what? It’s not how you start, it’s how you.
Exactly.
And help me welcome up my partner, Sherry Grau.
What’s up, guys? US.
Guys, I want to start off by thanking God for waking me up this morning and waking all of you up this morning, right? Also, I want to thank Ruben and Reyna Rosario RVPs out in Texas right now.
Reyna is actually my sister, and a few years ago when she started Primerica, I was one of our field training appointments.
And she tried for weeks to get me to sit with her.
And I know some of you out there has still not talked to your family about Primerica, but you need to, right? Because even though I pushed her off, she actually got RVP grace Kim, my mentor in the business, to sit with us at a family birthday party.
So after said no to your trading appointment, grace invited herself to a birthday party where I met her, and they did the trading appointment there.
So, guys, take a lesson from that.
Be creative.
And I’m so thankful.
Grace is always a huge example for me to how to create activity in my business.
I also want to thank Dave and Joyce Kim.
They were one of the first mentors in the business as well.
They were partnership.
We look up to them so much.
We grew up in their mentorship, guys.
And it’s so apparent that we all need that in Primerica.
We can’t grow by ourselves, we can’t build a team by ourselves.
So plug into all the trainings and learn and keep growing.
I also want to thank Carlos and Tara Salazar.
When I went to the Op meeting for the first time, guys, they told me that Carlos was semi retired at age 36, almost 300,000 a year.
And for me, being a nurse, and were both nurses, I had a choice, right? How do I get up? My income up.
I was already working from six in the morning to 1130 at night.
And I can’t work anymore.
Like that, right? The only way for me to make more money was to go back to school, get my nurse practitioners, and I actually Googled how much they make and not as much as Carlos, let me tell you that.
Right, guys? So I was like, wow, let me give Primerica a shot.
So thank you for being that example for us as well.
They always keep the dream alive for us.
Also, Keith and Daniel Oto, I think we’ve been here for a minute.
And guys, it’s so important to protect that dream for you and your people because there’s always a next level in Primerica.
And that’s something that I’ve always cherished, that there’s no ceiling here.
You can keep going up.
And I’m so thankful also to Primerica because we’ve just kept being exposed that you can go as far as you want.
I came here as an immigrant, and I thought that you could go to school, get good grades, get a good job.
And like most of us, we know that American dream is not happening for most of us, right? So, guys, the last thing I wanted to say was I wanted to thank God because I met this wonderful man when were in high school, and I am not business minded at all.
Well, I was not business minded at all.
And I know for some of you people in the back, we don’t think that this is for us.
And I joined Primerica to make an extra $500 a month just to spend on shoes.
And he hates it when I say that, but think of where my mindset was in the beginning, right? I wanted to make more money just to spend my money.
But now it’s from all of the leaders that you heard before.
We make money to impact lives, not just our own, but for our families and for every single one who’s in this room.
Right, guys? So I want to thank God for that and thank you for all for coming here.
Guys, always choose yourself, because at the end of the day, no one’s going to care more about your future, your family’s future than yourselves.
So give it up to you guys for coming here today, and I’m going to give it back to Keith Oto.
