Good evening.
Good evening.
Well, you know, if you think about it’s going to be 29 years that me and Tony joined Primerica.
And when we joined Primerica, I was a district leader.
And they did this session.
And the session was that you want to write down what you want to be.
And I swear to you as a district leader, I wrote down I want to make 85,000 a month interest of the money I have saved as a district leader.
And I would show you guys, we have a great presentation tomorrow, but I’ll show you guys when I finish, how I more than accomplish that.
But it’s so amazing with Primerica, our first year, I did all that work and it paid off for the last 20 something years.
All our RVPs come from that first year.
Everything come from that first five years and the first five years in Primerica.
I remember me and Tony.
If you would ask me one thing that I’m so proud of myself, besides my husband and my grandkids and my kids, is that for five years, eight in the morning to twelve midnight, I was in my office Christmas, Thanksgiving.
For five years, I did not see no hair salon.
I cut my hair myself.
I didn’t care how my nails look.
I was broke.
And I did the rule of 72.
$30 to do your nail multiply by twelve for 30 years.
That’s supposed to be my saving.
I cut all that nonsense out because I was broke.
I was broke.
And the only thing I needed to do was recruit somebody or do a policy.
If I couldn’t do that with you, I didn’t want to be around you, and I didn’t want to see you.
Right? And that’s what you got to do.
You got to sell out.
You got to sell out.
This business would change your life forever.
I cannot believe how our life is right now.
We used to take all these vacations, and I used to be dead tired.
I need a vacation when I get off the plane.
But now we set our life up where we are on vacation every single day.
And we could have an unbelievable life.
And I don’t know about you guys, but I love to eat.
I love to eat and I love to have my food prepared every single morning.
And I love to have everything in place.
And I am a freak with coffee cups, Chris.
I have to have, like, the perfect coffee cup that says, I am gorgeous.
God love me.
And I have the most sexiest thing in the world to me, is coffee with soy milk in the morning.
Oh, my God.
I brought my own soy milk.
That’s how important it is to me.
Right? So I am telling you, whatever you want, you could get accomplished.
But with a team.
With a team, you cannot do it without a team.
You see, I’m going to show you guys tomorrow.
In the last 60 days, Primerica paid us over 300,000.
Keep your income.
But we have two other codes that we bought cash and we 100% save that money because we don’t need it.
We do not need it.
Right? You look at Frank Badu, right on it right now.
Going to get to over 300,000.
This guy is so on it.
And he so deserved to be on it.
Guada building her base in ten different states right now, right? And Pintipanchaya and the RVP team is just exploding right now.
And you’re going to see the RVP team tomorrow.
But we could not do it without a team.
We have a great work ethic, a great work.
Everything I do, I am done by p.m.
I am so disciplined that every single thing I do, I’m done with p.m.
Tony said, tony do all those business and all of that.
Let me tell you could ask my secretary if Tony really work, but we’re not going to talk about that.
Tony work harder now.
Driving his grandkids all over, picking up one kid.
You see the bay shop now? Picking up one kid and take her to school.
Picking up another kid and take her to this school.
That’s the work he do.
I can’t find him.
Hey, you know where Tony, I don’t know.
He went out again.
Right? But we built a system.
We built an incredible system that every single day that four or five people call for my husband every single day.
I was in my office on Thursday and a couple walked in to see Tony.
I wanted to put away for 500.
And I said, uncle.
I call him uncle.
I don’t know.
But I could not get a break today, Ray, because like ten people came to see.
It’s like they smell him and they just.
You could ask Frank, you could ask Deli.
It’s like ongoing, right? And I think it’s because I always picked up my phone.
I always treat people with respect and dignity.
Always.
You call me at I will text you back.
You call me Sunday, Saturday, I will text you back.
And so many people cannot return a phone call because it’s Sunday and it’s Saturday.
Well, good, because guess what? They’re going to call another primary agent.
And that other primary agent is going to recruit them.
And that other primary agent is going to get the business.
I’m so proud of Keith and Daniel.
I don’t think we will have the growth that we have without them.
I mean, I am the biggest baby to Keith.
Antony’s like, Shelley, stop.
But I am like the biggest baby to Keith.
And Keith 100% pick up.
And he is the most kindest human being on earth.
And Danielle, man, she would spend money on you like crazy.
I love to go out for her dinner.
Oh, my God.
I would never miss Danielle dinner.
And Danielle gifts is out of the world.
You would never meet a woman that give you gifts like Danielle gifts, okay.
I’m telling you.
So thank you guys so much.
And wherever Keith go, I am going, okay? So if you see me in his school, I am going.
Wilma, would you please bring this up? If I want to retire today, I could retire today.
And I promise you I outwork 95% of you.
This room, this is about 15 million in statement that we have.
And nobody wants to help me.
Even my whole husband don’t want to put the statement together.
He’s like, Shelley, it’s too much.
My office manager, could you help me? No, it’s too much.
Nobody, even Val don’t want to help me today.
He put some together.
But look, these are our mutual fund.
2.8 million, 1.5 million.
1.8 million annuities.
Over 5 million in annuities.
I give a gift to minor.
Over a million dollars to my grandkids and my kids, right? A lot of people say they have stuff, but not a lot of people going to tell you they have over 1220 million cash saved.
And all because of primeRica.
All because of Primerica.
We save $80,000 a month.
We have no debts, everything.
I have no more.
I have a big mall with no mortgage.
I have a beach house with no mortgage.
I have a Manhattan home with no mortgage.
I have a 10,000 square foot house in Madison with no mortgage.
I have another beach house in Connecticut with no mortgage.
All my cars with no mortgage.
I have over 3 million in jewelry with no payment.
I never believe in payment.
And I don’t want no debt because it’s debt.
And because of our great team.
Our great team, we could get this accomplished.
And I would show you a lot more tomorrow if my husband would have helped me put some statement together.
But he wouldn’t.
But I kind of trick him.
I said, babe, could you put it together? Because I want to sleep with my money.
He goes, don’t worry, babe.
You know where me and you going? Where are we going? We going to the top, babe.
I got you.
I said, yeah, but I want to see them.
I hope that you could have this kind of freedom because Tony and Shelley Narain could get over 100 and something thousand a month interest off of the money they have saved.
And I tell you, me and Tony right now, we do whatever we want.
The only reason why we’re here because we go the second week, the first week of the month for three weeks at our beach house, just me and him with our chef.
And the only reason we’re here the second is because of Keith and Danielle.
And Sunday morning, I am back on my beach house for two weeks, and I’m coming back to see Pitbull.
Oh, I cannot Miss Pitbull.
Oh, I can’t wait to see Pitbull.
I told Tony, oh, my God, I just want to see Pitbull anyway.
But, guys, me and Tony, we’re the happiest together.
We are so happy being alone.
If we could just be alone.
We’re the happiest two people.
And I am so glad that I feel like a cat, like I have nine lives with him.
And the people you love is the time, people you need to spend time with.
So the unbelievable Tony Norain.

Shelley loves to save.
Can you tell? I thought it was Jesus that sAves.
You know the proverb.
Proverbs tell us that precious treasure and oil are in a wise man’s house, but a foolish man devours it.
Right.
It’s not about what you made.
It’s about what you got left.
At the end of the day, the nice cars and the jewelry and the houses are all great, right? But we need some kind of foundation that we got to stick to.
In Ecclesiastes, chapter nine, it says, the riches of the world are not for the smartest or the swiftest, but for the people that are in the right place at the right time.
And are we in the right place at the right time? I believe we’re in the right place at the right time.
Right.
I go back to 1993 and where were in 1993.
This is where were.
We were over $100,000 in debt.
Right.
We wouldn’t even answer the phones anymore because it was just collection agencies calling.
In fact, up today, I still don’t answer the phone because the phone rings.
My housekeeper goes, why don’t you answer the phone? I’m.
No, I’m not answering.
Right.
And we owe the IRS over $70,000, and I never shared that with Shelley, because I didn’t want her to worry about it, right? And we owned three houses at the time.
We were making over a six figure, but every penny we got went out as fast as it came, and were completely broke.
We were devastated.
There was no light at the end of the tunnel.
Every morning I would sit on that ceramic throne and pray to God to show me a way.
Right.
Show us a way to get us out of this.
And then one day, somebody walked into my office, and then, incidentally, the same person that introduced us to Primerica introduced me to Shelley, right? So the two best things of my life came from the same person, right? And he walked in my office one day, and he said, oh, there’s a new company in town.
We can make some money.
We could do this in our real estate.
Make some extra money, right.
And meet me in my office at 630.
Well, he was making $600,000 at that time.
I was not.
So whatever he said to do, we needed to do, because if he was going to do it, we need to do it.
So I met him in the office at 630.
He brought me to the meeting.
He sat me right there in the front row.
Joanzer did the meeting.
I fell asleep, and I woke up at the end of the meeting, and he gave me an IBA, and he said, fill this out, right? So what did I do? I filled it out, right? And I gave him a money order, and we joined, right? And then, April eigth, 1994, we got licensed.
And back then, we didn’t get a license.
We didn’t get a solution number until we got a license.
So we really couldn’t do anything until then.
Right.
So then we wanted to start making some money.
We show up at these meetings, we want to learn more.
Right? So what we did was every Thursday, there would be a meeting.
Joance would show up, do a meeting, right? He’d say, come back next Thursday and bring more people.
Bring some people.
And then he disappeared.
We never hear from him again.
Right.
I think we just used to go back to see if he would come back, right? And this went on for months and months.
So we figured out we needed to learn more.
Right.
So then we started asking around.
We found out there’s a meeting in Long island on Monday nights.
So we just showed up and sat in the meeting.
Then we found out there’s a meeting in the LaGuardia Marriott on Tuesday.
So we showed up and just sat in the meetings, right? And we brought guests.
Wednesday night, there was another meeting Thursday.
We showed up Saturday went to another meeting.
We were doing five meetings a week, and were part time, right? And, folks, part time, were part time.
But we had that full time mentality, right? And the one thing that sold us was Joenser.
He kept parading people in front of us that, oh, this one’s making 20,000 a month.
This one’s making 10,000.
Right? And we looked around, we said, wow, if all these people are making this kind of income, all we got to do is find out what it is they’re doing and copy it.
If we got half of that.
And then he’d ask us things like, how many months in a row would you need to make 10,000 before you’re completely out of debt and you have extra money left over, right.
Well, that’s all we wanted to do, was make some extra income, make some money to pay off these bills, and it wasn’t easy.
So me and Shelley, we decided that we’re going to try and we’re going to start making some money.
So I went to my upline and I said, hey, we need to do some appointments.
I need to make some money.
So he said, okay, make three appointments.
I’ll go with you.
So Shelley made three appointments, right? The first one was an Ohm, the second one was 85 years old, and the other one was in a wheelchair with all kind of tubes coming out of him, right? That was our field training, right? And then he says, I’m not going nowhere with you again.
You’re on your own.
Right.
So we’re on your own.
Right.
So we decided to go on appointments together, right.
We didn’t know nothing about nothing.
We didn’t know nothing about if whole life was good or bad, what’s wrong with my term? We didn’t know nothing about that, right? So we started going on appointments together.
Nobody listened to us.
We went on 15, 2025 appointments.
Nobody listened to it.
We should have quit, right? I don’t know why we stayed, right? Even our own babysitter, which wasn’t our babysitter anymore after that, because she didn’t listen, right? Let me tell you.
And then we realized that we both didn’t need to be in the same place at the same time.
We could get twice as much, right.
If we separated.
So Shelly decided, well, I’m going to stay in the office, and I’m going to make calls and you go on appointments.
And she would book me up on an average day with about eight appointments a day, and I would drive around all day.
I had a little Dodge neon, right.
We wind up windows and an AM radio, right.
Because that’s all we could afford at the time.
And I would go on eight appointments, and then at the end of the day, I’d get a little $30 app or a $30 mutual fund.
But you know what? To me, that was a successful day because I got something, right? And this went on for months and months.
We did that.
And just like she said, were on every single day.
Every morning I’d leave at 730.
I’d take my two daughters to school, Mary and Kate, who are 35 and 33 year old.
33 year old.
Three years old now, right.
They were three and five back then, right.
And then I’d go to my real estate office.
I dropped Shelley off at the mall and she’d pretend to shop, right? But what she was doing was prospecting, getting names and numbers.
And this is how we got guests, right.
If we’re not prospecting, we’re not going to grow our business.
That is the very beginning of our opportunity.
We have to talk to people and we have to prospect right? Now.
Was she good at it? No, she wasn’t good at it, but she got better because she practiced.
And that’s how each one of us are going to get better, right, by practicing.
We’re not going to get perfect, but we’re going to get better at it, right? So every single day she would do that.
And then I’d pick her up at we’d pick up the kids, we’d go home, right.
She’d cook dinner, I’d go back to my real estate office, and then I’d come back at I’d pick her up, right.
We get the neighbor to babysit, and then we’d go to the meeting and we wouldn’t get home till 1011, at night because we brought people to the meeting.
Right.
In the meeting they said ABC.
Right.
Always bring people.
Not always invite people.
Right.
I think people confuse that now.
They think bring means invite.
Right.
So they study inviting, right.
We don’t see people bring, they want to bring them on Zoom, right.
So we always brought people to the meeting.
So when you brought them to the meeting, what do you have to do? You have to bring them home.
Right.
And we did that religiously for about five years, guys, at the end of five years, were completely out of debt, right? We were still living in that same crappy apartment, driving that same crappy car, making $50,000 a month.
We had over a million dollars saved life was very different, but weren’t different.
We were the same people.
Right? We still acted like were broke.
We still acted like we needed, right? So we still had the intensity, we still had the work ethic, we still had the discipline, and we still had the consistency to keep going after it every single day.
Right.
And every single day went after it like were broke.
We didn’t look at what we had saved.
We didn’t look at what was going on.
We just kept going and kept going.
Now, today, it’s instilled on us that’s our activity.
That’s the way we’re know if that Porsche that we know it’s built to drive fast, right? Even though Shelly doesn’t want me to drive it fast.
I said, we’re not driving fast.
It just feels like we’re going fast.
That’s the kind of car it is.
But today, our activities are so much different now.
We could do whatever it is that we want to do, right.
When we want to do, where we want to do it, with how we want to do it.
And it’s not a matter of do we want to do this.
It’s never about finances.
Right.
It’s about whether if we want to take the time to do it or not.
Right? But let me tell you at the beginning, the foundation that you build, it’s going to tell you how strong your house is going to be, how strong your business is going to be, right? So you spend your first one to three years in today’s primerica.
It’s not going to take that long like it took us.
Because we didn’t have offices.
We didn’t have Pol.
Right.
We didn’t have PFSU.
I think we just had P.
Right.
And a lot of it.
Right.
We didn’t have none of that.
Right.
In today’s Primerica, within one to three years, you focus yourself and you forget about recreating.
And you forget about doing this and doing that for everybody else and focus on yourself, right? In three to five years, you come up for air, and life is going to be totally different.
Life is going to be a dream for you.
Life is going to be the way you want it.
You’re going to do what you want to do when you want to do it, right.
And you’re going to enjoy all the fruits that you work for.
Right? So, guys, there’s nothing special about these people in the front row.
Except that they put the time in.
And that’s all you have to do.
