Let’s go, you guys.
Fired up.
Wow, wow.
What an amazing event, guys.
You know, shout out to the aviator hierarchy.
Let’s go, let’s go.
Let’s go.
Shout out to everybody here.
You guys truly make this event special, man.
And, you know, I can’t start without saying, you know, thank you to my lord and savior, Jesus Christ, for giving us the opportunity and blessing to be up here.
You.
You know, it’s crazy to think that, you know, two college athletes, two college dropouts, you know, born in a third world country, would be up here speaking to thousands of people, you know, today, which is unbelievable, you know? And, guys, this is a little switch to the slides here, if you can.
This is the neighborhood that Lewis and I were raised in.
You know, I don’t know how we survived in Cuba.
No money, no electricity, no water, no education, you know, but were blessed with the opportunity, at six and eight years old to come to United States.
And we got a scholarship to play college soccer.
Move.
One more slide, please.
We got the opportunity to play college soccer in New York.
And in the summertimes, I would park cars in the emergency room.
I was a valley parking attendant.
My brother would run our dad’s landscaping business.
And, you see, we don’t come from experience, but what I love about Primerica is that it still gave us an opportunity.
They didn’t see our past.
They just saw what Primerica can hold, can do to us.
You know, within our first two weeks in Primerica, we graduated from the best university, PFSU, you know, and we got entered into the dean’s list when we got our district leader promotion, right? And, man, it’s been a journey ever since.
Last year, we recruited over 1000 new people.
We did over 500,000 in premium, man.
We promoted an RVP, Ryan Asia, which was the number one regional vice president in Hawaii, right? Shout out to him.
We had two watch earners, Danielle, Roxanna, and of course, Ryan, which is about to get his ring this month, which is unbelievable, man.
And the crazy part, guys, you know, a lot of people, they didn’t see the ups and downs when the best friend quits on you.
The doubts, feeling like you weren’t good enough.
They didn’t see the 1015 hours, days or the inputs, you know? And the crazy part is they didn’t believe in us.
But guess who did? God did.
Yup.
Yup.
That’s right.
You see all those people that didn’t believe in us.
And I want you guys to master this line.
I told them, what’s the worst thing that can happen, if it doesn’t work out for me, I’ll come back and I’ll be broke, just like you, right? Master the line, you know? And, you know, some of those people, when they see the output and the change of lifestyle, they’ll come back or they’ll just hate, right? They’ll tell you, oh, you just got lucky.
But in Primerica, we don’t get lucky.
We get consequences to our choices.
You know? If you make the right choices, you’re gonna get blessed with the right things.
Right? And another thing, stop telling yourself that you’re burnt out or that you’re tired.
The only reason you’re burnt out is because you lost purpose.
You know? Don’t lose purpose, and you won’t get burnt out.
And I want you guys to repeat this, right? If your car is out of gas, would you sell it or would you put gas in it? Everybody say, put gas in it.
Put gas.
So why is it that when people’s dreams are not working, they sell their will to win, right? They’re like, it’s okay, we’ll just try another route, right, instead of doing what they should do with it and put gas in it, right.
Especially if you’re a regional leader, you’re already more than halfway there.
All you have to do is put the VP behind the r.
Right? They don’t get that.
They don’t get that.
Right.
Two things that’ll stop you from becoming successful here in primerica, guys.
One is not growing recruiting, right.
Not growing your recruits every single month and not self developing.
You see, everybody is after something great, but nothing changes if nothing changes, right? You gotta be willing to surround yourself by the right people.
And, man, I’ll leave you guys with this before I pass it over to my brother.
Did you guys know that 8 million people died of smoking cigarettes last year? And you guys will get where I’m coming from this, but 1.3 million died of secondhand smoke.
Right? They died because of who they hang around with.
And same is true about you.
If you keep hanging around with broke, unmotivated people that lose that dream to keep dreaming, stop believing, you get that secondhand smoke, right? So the question is, right? Are you gonna get that secondhand smoke, or are you gonna go out and break records? Thank you.
Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go.
Yeah, guys.
Man, it’s so important what you set yourself around.
And the biggest thing about it, guys, is understanding the importance of your.
Your culture.
And outside of that, you know, the production that you bring into it as well.
One of the things that we always fought hard and truthfully here in our business is that we wanted to have a copycat business.
We wanted to create a culture where people came in, they dressed sharp, people came in, and they knew exactly what to do.
They knew exactly when to show up.
They knew exactly how to produce and what to do.
And that’s one of the things that we have always done.
Our coach calls a play and we are always there.
I’m so proud of our team.
RVP Ryan Isaiah.
Last month he did 65 by 65.
Three months as an RVP.
He’s 20 years old, and he made 17,000 last month.
Let’s go next, his replacement.
His replacement, Dianel and Roxana Martinez, so proud of them.
They’re 19 and 20 years old.
Last month they got their watch in the base shop.
Outside of that, they also made 7000 last month, as well as regional leaders.
So you guys can do it, too.
There’s no limit on your age.
It’s all about your work ethic and what you create.
All of our vice presidents and our team, we all do over 10,000 personal because we will never want to tell our regionals to do something that we aren’t doing ourselves.
Next up from there, another thing, your schedule.
How does it look like? Make sure that you work hard.
You want your team to work hard, you work hard.
You want your team to dress sharp.
You dress sharp, right? It’s just the way it is now.
Big is big, small, right? So here, guys, you gotta make sure you pour big dreams and big numbers into your team if you guys want to have a chance at doing something great, you know? And obviously, there’s a saying in Primerica, right, in the art of war, that until the size of your team and the players and the production that you have isn’t big enough, you go around them, right? So here, you know, I challenge you guys, right? If your guys numbers aren’t where they’re supposed to be, unfortunately, we can’t challenge the big dogs just yet, right? We got to do what? Go around them until.
But you got to stay locked in.
You got to be focused on what you guys are going to do, right? Next up from here.
Always, always.
Guys, understand that self developing is important.
You cannot tell your team to do something that you’re not doing, right.
We’ve always wanted to have a huge standard in our business that people come in and they dress sharp.
We want to have a standard that people come in and they have great qbis.
All of our leaders have over a 75% QBI.
And we all run big base shops.
All of our regionals, they do over 30 by 30 last month.
Shout out to our regionals.
Every single one of them qualified to do over 30 by 30.
So what do you guys think is a standard? When a new person comes in, what do they have to do, right? So as the team gets better, you get better.
But you gotta always have to understand that if you guys want your team to do something, you guys gotta be the first ones, you know? And that’s one of the things that Ali and I have always focused on, man.
And while I end this out, I just wanna say something here real quick, guys.
It gets better.
Trust me.
Stay consistent.
For a long time.
We weren’t on the stage.
We weren’t getting the recognition, but we stayed focused and.
Cause we knew the time would come.
But what happens a lot of times in Primerica is people say, no, I’m going to keep going.
No, no.
It’s going to happen for me.
It’s going to happen for me, coach, don’t worry.
But you guys don’t know when that blessing is going to come to you.
You guys don’t know when that stud is going to show up to your team.
So if you are inconsistent, if you don’t show up on time, your people, they have eyes, they have ears, they see that.
And what’s going to happen is they’re going to go around you.
If you’re not that leader and you’re going to miss your opportunity at becoming a vice president, don’t miss your opportunity to do something great.
And I want to leave you guys with this, man, it’s so beautiful.
I remember when we would show up to these events in our beat up Altima, right? His altima.
It wasn’t even mine.
I didn’t even have a car at the time.
You crossed it.
Yeah, I got hit.
And it was total, man.
So.
And we had no team.
It was just us.
But were always here, always here, always fired up for our coach.
And now it’s so wonderful.
We have teams of teams, right, that are now in this school with us.
Shout out to legacy.
Shout out to the aviators.
Shout out to team intensity.
And now instead of driving that Altima, we pull up here in our dream.
In our dream cars, guys, it gets good.
Life is amazing.
Work hard and trust me, it gets better.
Keep going.
Thank you, guys.
