All right, I gotta click. Okay? Primerica found me 30 years ago, and I say that I was 23,000 in debt. My house was in foreclosure. All right? Somebody was going over my sister’s house. And I’m going to give you a little backstory for Donna, you know, and you can fill in the blanks as we read. Let me see. Okay, here we go. I’ll get used to the clicking. All right, here we go. I’m one of the lives that Primerica has changed, you know, and like Colby said, we’re not there yet, but good Lord, I’m not where I was, and I’m so thankful for that.

All right, so again, a little backstory. I was a single parent for 14 years. Met the man of my dreams. We got married. I had a 14 year old daughter. He had a 13 year old son. Four months after we got married, the lady next door died of cancer. We adopted her two teenagers, and now we have four teenagers. Wait, Brand new marriage. Should we have kids? Should we? Shouldn’t we? Yeah, 16. The youngest was 16. We had Colby. Okay, so it’s kind of like yours, mine and ours with the Brady Bunch family, you know? And I say that when you look at what life throws at you, sometimes you just have to roll with the punches. So we’re kind of here. All right? Belief in the company. Somebody was going over my sister’s house and, you know, they were doing some Primerica presentation.

Well, were 23,000 in debt. God blessed us with a house, but we couldn’t afford one. So here we are, drowning in debt. And I mean, you can see the bullet points of everything Primerica puts out there. You know, the mission, Help families earn more income, become properly protected, debt free, financially independent. We needed all of that, man, every bit of it. Suc. So I was like, you know what? Fix me. Y’ all are that good. Okay? Fix me. So what happened here next? I sat through the kta. When they got to the debt part, I was like, yep, let’s go. Let’s see what you guys can do. And they did. They put together an FNA for me. They did the financial program, and I stuck to it, okay? Ten months later, I ended up quitting my job. Well, actually, I walked out, all right?

And I went full time with Primerica. One year and three months later, I signed. Now this is 30 years ago. Signed my regional vice president contract, became a regional vice president five years later, totally debt free. Debt free. I retired at age 42. I stayed home for 15 years and played with my grandbabies because the big ones started having kids and I still had the baby at home. Well, I say this, Mike retires. We moved to Florida, right? Where do you go? You go to Florida when you retire, you get the hell out of New York. We went to Florida and we didn’t. When we got there, were doing pretty good, all right? And I say that because we had set aside, we put. We had the house. We ended up buying another house for the team. I live in a gated community.

14 swimming pools, two fitness bars, two golf courses on the lake. My sister in law comes down and I’m telling her I’m going to do real estate because I was doing really good with property management. And Joyce looks at me and she goes, what are you stupid? Why don’t you do Primerica? I’m like, ho, ho. Like, what do you know about Primerica? Who the hell are you working with? Myra. Who’s Myra? Put this Myra on the phone. She puts Myra on the phone. All right? I talked to Myra. The next day, I hopped on a plane, went to go talk to Myra. Myra, what would it take for me to get my regional vice president contract back this time? It took me one year and five months. Started at the bottom, rebuilt, got my RVP contract, and I look at where we are now.
