All right.
All right.
How you guys doing? All right.
Do we got the prompt? Top team in the house.
All right, let’s go, let’s go.
Man, I’m excited, man.
First of all, first of all, I just want to thank Key and Danielle and Wilma and all the people that put together this event.
A round of applause, man.
These guys, they’re working like crazy behind the scenes.
And shout out to Uplines.
Always got to pay respect to where respect is given.
We got Chris A.
Chung, Roy Lipson, ray and Carol Costello.
Man Shout out to the Lipsins, man, I’m super excited, but real quick, man, I’m excited.
Anyone fired up? I’m excited, man.
I’m excited.
I wanted to talk to you guys about my favorite topic, which is recruiting, right? So recruiting is an inside job, right? I think when you’re recruiting people, it’s a mindset, right? But you got to know what you’re recruiting people to, right? See, I’m a big sports guy.
Anyone play sports growing up? Right? See, and one of the things I know about sports, nobody wants to play for a team that’s losing, right, guys? Right? So it’s like everybody wants to play for the Lakers.
People want to play for great teams, right? Because why? Those teams have a track record of what winning, right, guys? Right.
So one of the things that you got to understand, especially if you’re brand new in the room right now, that Primerica is a company that’s winning when you look at the credibility, when you look at the track record, right? Fortune 1000 company a plus forbes new York Stock Exchange company, right? This company took a kid like me, 18 years old, never had a job before, right? And they put me on the New York Stock Exchange.
Right? Just think about it.
I don’t have no degree in finance.
I don’t have no background, no experience.
There’s no other company that’s going to give me or you a shot.
So we have to be grateful every time, every single day that we’re a part of this company, right? So let’s talk about developing a recruiting mindset.
I think the first thing next slide, right? Waiting for the slide, next slide.
It says, Why do you want to recruit? Right? See, before primarily, see, I play sports, so I understood recruiting a little bit, but I came up with a few reasons why you want to recruit.
See, the reason why you want to recruit is because you want financial freedom, right? So financial freedom, it’s a simple formula.
Time plus money.
See, time plus money equals financial freedom.
See, you could have a lot of money and still not be free, right or wrong? Right, guys? Right.
And if you got a lot of money and a lot of time and no money, you definitely ain’t free, right, guys? Right.
So thank you.
Appreciate the big Green or the Big green one.
See, I’m an A personality, right or wrong, right? I would just focus right here.
Makes sense, right? Got it.
All right.
The big green one.
Oh, perfect.
It works, right? So, financial freedom.
See, we all want financial freedom, and I don’t think you can have financial freedom unless you have passive income.
Anyone excited about passive income, right? See, the reason why you want passive income, because you want an income that can grow without you, right? You want a business.
There’s two qualities that you want to have in a business.
You want to have a business that can function without you, but you also want to have a business that can grow without you.
Let me repeat that one more time.
You want to have a business that functions without you, but you also want to have a business that grows without you, right? See, that’s why you want passive income.
See, you want to put yourself in a position to leave a legacy, right? Leave something for your kids.
By the way, shout out to my wife in the back, right? She’s doing an amazing job with the team, right? And my amazing son can’t forget about her, right? See, it’s about legacy, right? You want to have multiple sources of income, but we always talk about MSI.
Multiple sources of income.
In Primerica, every time you get somebody licensed, that’s another source of income, right, guys? Right? So if you got 100 licenses, that’s 100 different ways of making money, right? So you have to understand, see, when you recruit, it allows you to scale, right? See what’s scaling.
See? Uber.
Raise your hand who’s ever took an Uber? See, what I want you to do right after this meeting, or while you’re in the meeting, check your Uber app.
There’s something called services.
Do you know? Uber delivers everything.
Everything you can think about, Uber delivers.
Do you know you can charter a bus through Uber? Uber delivers pharmacy stuff, all type of products they deliver.
See, they’re in the scaling business.
You guys got me, right? See, you got to get in that business.
So who recruits? Everybody? The NYPD Army Churches sports team.
Everyone recruits, right? Next slide.
So I said, let’s talk about some things we want to focus on a daily basis.
I think prospecting.
See, guess what? When my business was in the hole, it’s because I wasn’t prospecting, right? But when I started Prospecting, my business turned around.
So here’s three different ways to prospect.
Your warm market.
See, your warm market never runs out of people.
Right, guys? Right? Why? Because the people that you know are always constantly meeting new people.
And if they’re meeting new people, they should be referring you to those people, shouldn’t they? Right? See, social media.
See, you should be on social media, marketing your business.
See, you’re a brand.
See, you’re a brand.
See? Same way how Primerica is a brand.
People don’t know who Glenn williams is.
They know who you are.
So you are Primerica to the people that you know.
So you want to constantly be marketing your business, right? So social media, face to face.
See, there’s nothing like some good old face to face prospecting.
There’s nothing like walking into a Walmart, asking somebody for help and asking them, hey, do you know anyone looking for work? Do you keep your options open to make an extra income? Like, we just opened a brand new office.
Shout out to that team at the Superstars team, right? We just opened our first office, which is a big deal.
But the other day, I walked outside the office and I saw a guy walking down the street, and I stopped him.
I said, Excuse me, do you know anyone looking for work? He said, yeah, I’m looking.
I invited him the next day, right? And guess what? I got a direct see, it’s so simple.
It’s so simple, but we’re not doing the simple things right, so guess what? So prospecting invite.
See, the numbers are one out of four.
One out of four people you invite will show up, right? So guess what? And for every four that shows up, you’ll get an IBA.
That’s Keithado’s numbers.
That’s Glenn Lee’s numbers.
That’s the numbers of all the leaders in the room.
See, the challenge is, we’re not inviting nobody, and this is what we talk to our team about.
Can I talk to you guys like I talked to my team, right? See, we need to start inviting more guests in the meeting, right? And that’s how we’re going to grow appointments, right? See, five appointments set a day.
See, the reason why you’re not writing no production because you don’t have no appointments, right? That’s what you need to be focused on.
Next slide.
All right, perfect.
So here’s the three P’s of Primerica.
I don’t know if I came up with this, right.
I’m sure somebody else did, but the three P’s prospecting.
So on a daily basis, you want to focus on prospecting, but prospects leads to phone calls.
See, if I look through your call log right now, will I see phone calls from the last two or three days, or am I going to see phone calls from this morning? See, so many people don’t make enough phone calls, especially if you’re younger in the room.
You like to text, and that’s cool, but you got to make phone calls.
Are you knocking out 100 calls a day, 200 calls a day? At the end of the day, am I seeing calls from, like, two or three days ago? Man, I got to see calls from today.
There’s nothing like some good old phone calls, right? And phone calls lead to presentation.
See, the more people you present to, the higher chance you have of getting something done.
See, guess what? Like Tony and Shelley, the reason why they write all that production, because they’re presenting to more people than you.
That’s it.
Now, guess what you might think.
Well, it’s their presentation.
Yes, and I’m sure their presentation is probably phenomenal, but guess what? As good as their presentation is, if they don’t have nobody to present to, they’re not going to close any business.
Does that make sense? Right? See, it’s the work.
See, you’re avoiding the work, right? So this is what we got to focus on, right? So guess what? And the reason why, if you don’t have any presentations, it’s because you’re not making no phone calls.
If you don’t have no phone calls to make, it’s because you’re not prospecting.
That’s as simple as that.
That’s the business.
Oh, I don’t got nobody to call, Coach.
Well, when was the last time you were prospecting? Oh, well, yeah, I used to do that.
Well, maybe we got to do it again.
Right or wrong, right? You follow me? Right? That’s it, right? Let’s talk about the side effects of not building.
So we always talk about the positive stuff.
What happens when you build, right? Well, what’s going to happen if you don’t build, right? Guess what you’re going to have limited time.
Limited time to spend with your family, limited time to spend with your church, limited time to spend with your wife.
You guys follow me? Limited time to do the things you really want to do, right? See, guess what? You’re going to have limited money.
If your time is limited, your money is limited.
You guys got me, right? And guess what? You have no team when you’re not building, right? No vision, right? So you don’t want to lose your vision.
Go back to the reason why you joined Primerica in the first place.
Nobody’s here to sell life insurance.
We’re here to get wealthy.
We’re here to get free, right? So that’s what it’s about, right? And let’s talk about the intangibles of a great recruiter.
I think if you’re going to be a great recruiter, you got to be a leader, right? See, everybody wants to see being the leader, man.
I’m telling you.
Everybody wants what the leader has, but you’re not willing to do what the leader does.
Is that makes sense? And sometimes that means calling a play, and maybe the play doesn’t always go right.
Sometimes it means making a decision, right, that you don’t want to make, but a decision that you have to make.
Does that make sense? See, that’s where leadership is, right? See, you want to be the leader, right? So you want to be a team player, right? Man, you want to be a team player.
See, the people that go RVP, they’re team players.
You got those guys in the base shop who are kind of to themselves, even if they do numbers.
If you’re to yourself, right, you ain’t going nowhere, right? You got to be a team player.
You got to be accountable.
See, every morning from Monday to Friday, , a.m.
We do an accountability call with our guys, right? We check to see what they got going on.
You want to be accountable.
You want to be coachable, right? And see, you got to be coachable to your coach.
How could you not be at this event? How could you not be coachable to people who make way more money than you? You’re coachable to your boss, right.
And your boss will never give you his or her lifestyle.
Right? And you’re not going to be coachable to your RVP in Primerica.
Be out your mind, right.
You got to be disciplined, right.
Being disciplined means doing what you have to do even when you don’t feel like doing it, right.
Doing the work right.
You got to be consistent.
And next thing, you got to be a great communicator.
One thing about great recruiters, they know how to communicate a message really well, right? So you want to be a great recruiter, right? And, guys, when you think about it, Primerica, we got the best business opportunity ever, man.
When you look at what it takes to get involved hold on.
Okay.
Got you.
No problem.
I guess that’s where I’m done, right? But, man, I’m so excited, guys.
Shout out to our team.
I love what these guys got going on, man.
We’re getting ready to promote three RVPs, right? Let’s bring it back.
Keith, that old.
