Um, first class flight, was it?I don’t know, but they, they, they flew up first class to be here and I’m super excited.
Big shout out to Stacy, who, she’s one of my up, um, rising stars.
She’s actually a district leader.
She actually, when she got promoted guys, Stacy.
Came on and within 24 hours, she got promoted to district.
I’ve been trying to get to Stacey.
I’ve been trying to get to Stacey for about three years.
All right.
And I guess at the time I wasn’t, uh, uh, a 50, 000 earner.
So she didn’t pay me no mind and she just called me out to the blues and just let me know that, Hey, I need to write some needed to write some premium for me because I made a post.So guys, I’m saying to somebody.
We’re going to continue posting on social media.
It actually works.
It works.
Alright.
And for the last 3 months, because I’m from Jamaica, so I don’t like the snow.
So, for the last 3 months, guys, we literally be in the house working social media.
And we made a conscious decision that every month that we’re going to be doing DDR personally.Nice.
Um and that’s for recruits.
Alright? And the focus now for 2024 is to is to actually DDR personally licensed.
So I don’t know anybody who’s here to warm bench, but I got an opportunity.
I said to somebody that day.
Um, that I thank, I need to go back to the embassy to thank the lady that stopped my visa.
Because if it wasn’t for that opportunity guys, I would not have been here today.
Alright, of course you know the background, being an orphan and, um, being a police officer and working at a cab service.
So all my days, I know how to work.
But when I came to Primerica, what I had to adjust was my mindset.
All right.So it’s all about the mentors, guys.
Because there are many people that in your background, in your family, they’re very skillful at what they do.
And you say, you know, this person would be great for the job.
And this person would be great for Primerica.
But it all boils down to the mindset.
Paul said, be not conformed.But be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
So it’s all about your mindset.
So show me a person who has their mindset together and I’ll show you a person that’s actually winning in primerica.
So what I want to talk about, cause I’m a very long talker and I don’t, I don’t want Chris to signal me today.So what I’m going to talk about in the next two minutes, guys, is what was my mindset like going to the hundred thousand dollar? The focus was I had a, Chris went out, And bought a vision board.
So I sent it to Chris.
I took a picture of Chris.
Chris can show you in my, in the phone.
I always send him the vision board.RV knows the vision board and many of the RVPs I sent them to keep me accountable.
And every night when I check, I know nine 30 every night, that’s when my commission I, I go on my daily blast.
And there are many people who don’t even know how to find their daily blast.
Yes, it’s actually on PO head.
All right.So I go on my daily blast and every night I kept myself accountable as it relates to, I’m minusing, I’m minusing because the goal is increments guys.
So I know a hundred thousand dollars.
Of course, when I just started to write 5, 000 was the hardest thing.
I got mad at my RVP so many times.
Because I’m like, sir, I wrote 4, 005.Can you just please give me my promotion? And he’s like, no.
He said, if I help you, and he always use this analogy, he said, for the caterpillar to actually Something like that to, yes, to turn a butterfly, yes, to turn a butterfly that it has to break out of what is called a cocoon, right? And he said, if I help you to write your premium, and if I give it to you, I’m going to paralyze you.I need you to do it yourself.
And believe you guys, we made a conscious decision that, hey, we started out at writing two by five thousand because, I’ve been in the A unit group several times.
Chris H and always kicked me out because I was known in the Bay shop as the person that does zero by zero.
Yeah, I was that person, but I made a conscious decision guys and I got the click.I don’t know who’s going to get the click today or this weekend because one of the things that no matter how a person preach or no matter how the speaker is and whatever is going on, if you don’t apply the information on.
This is going to literally be an entertainment for you.
All right.
And we don’t want it to be an entertainment guys.So I made a conscious decision and this is how I break down my day.
I literally said, okay, what do I need to do? And I go out and I said, for the first 10 days, I’m going to focus on getting out of the starting block.
So the first 10 days are the most crucial days in my month.
And because I, I found this wonderful business partner and partner in life, and she’s a bit expensive.Alright, so, yeah, so, I, I, and I am a full time, so I, I don’t do Primerica part time.
This is what I do for a living.
So, of course, I went out because my RVP again says, hey, For you to come out of your comfort zone in January, my house got burned down.
That’s last year, January, my house got burned down.
And the same week was when I went and got my securities license.For many people, they would have used loss in everything as an excuse.
It depends.
Life will happen.
You know, the new term is that life is life in.
It will happen whether you want to accept it or not.
It will happen.
It’s what you do from what’s happening that makes the difference.
Show me a person who is fluid in Primerica and I’ll show you a person that is winning.
On my down days, nobody knows.
When nothing comes up for my IBA, nobody knows.
I’m always posting because my code said, hey, be visible in the group.
So if I’m going on and one of the things that I’m reading now It’s called the power of manifestation.
And every day now I start posting my goal.
All right.
My coach is saying one minute.So guys, this is it to take away.
All right.
Make sure that you break down your month.
So what I do for me personally is I go out and I try to do two business partners and 520 in checks, whichever, if you can only do two business partner by two 50, Set a goal and work towards the goal.
So Taji, what happened if I do my two business partner on Monday morning?Do I rest for the rest of the week? That’s not what I’m saying.
You restart the clock and that is how you literally move your numbers to become a 10 by 10 or 10 by 20, whatever the numbers might be.
The new norm now is to go to that 200, 000 mile milestone.
And that’s the focus right now.
And we’re just increasing the activities.Personally, I was down for about a week and a half.
And we decide that, hey, we’re going to take back the number one.
And every day, every night, all we talk about in the house is the number one.
Actually, I named my daughter, who is just a month old, her pet name is Premium.
It’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s an obsession.So, I say to a person, you can stay on the bench and watch what’s going on, or you can come on the field and watch us win.
