Executive TLDR
The Law of Buy-In: Success requires a three-level commitment: Buying into yourself, the mentorship, and the system.
Market Dominance: 95 million Americans are uninsured; Primerica holds 95% of the market share for its specific BTID philosophy.
Building vs. Selling: The goal is to build a franchise by “teaching people how to fish” (licensing others) rather than “fishing” for them (solo sales).
The Crusade: The mission is to eliminate the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle and help Main Street retire with dignity.
Video Summary: The Law of Buy-In
In this high-impact session, Eileen Li addresses the “Dragon Hierarchy” on the internal alignment necessary to reach the RVP level and beyond. She introduces the Law of Buy-In, emphasizing that a leader’s growth is capped by their level of commitment to the system and themselves. Drawing from a decade of experience as an RVP partner, she explains that even seasoned leaders must occasionally return to the Base Shop to be “polished like a bowling ball”—a process of stripping away bad habits and submitting to mentorship from million-dollar earners like Glenn and Zeo.
Eileen focuses on the massive market opportunity, noting that 95 million Americans lack life insurance. She positions Primerica as the primary provider for “Main Street” families who are currently underserved. By following the Buy Term and Invest the Difference (BTID) philosophy, representatives aren’t just selling a product; they are part of a financial “crusade” to ensure families can retire with dignity rather than living paycheck-to-paycheck.
The session concludes with the Law of Building. Eileen argues that you aren’t living the “complete package” of Primerica if you aren’t actively recruiting and developing new business owners. She describes the business as a franchise model where the objective is to “teach people how to fish.” By eliminating excuses and plugging into the system, Eileen asserts that anyone—regardless of background—can succeed if they fully buy into the crusade.

I just appreciate the entire Dragon hierarchy and all the leaders in front of us and before us that we always learn from. But I want to talk to you guys a little bit about the law of buy in, right? There’s a couple of points when it comes to the law of buy in. And number one is you got to buy into yourself. I was an RVP partner for about ten years, and a lot of times when things don’t work out, you ask yourself, can you do this again? And you got to buy into the system, guys. You got to buy into the company, because if you guys just know how good this company is, if you take a look at these statistics that I want to talk to you guys about, there’s 95 million US. Adults out there that don’t have life insurance, right? And we cater to every single household, to mankind in America.
Not only do we cater to you, we supply you with that license, guys. Think about that. And there’s a lot of families out there that can’t retire with dignity, with at least minimum of 25,000 maximum. I’m sorry. Think about that. And this company does buy term and invest the difference, right? We have 95% of the market share, right? We always talk about we cater to Main Street families. Think about what we do. We can’t hurt families. And number two is buy into mentorship. And I’m just so grateful for Glenn and Zeo. Right. Took me back into the Bay Shop and polished me back up like a bowling ball and rolled me back out there and think about the mentorship that this company has, and look at all the million dollar earners. Look at your RVPs, look at your uplines. So if you’re here today, somebody bought into you, right?
And we need you guys to buy into the Primerica system. We don’t have enough crusaders out there to deliver this message, okay? And the third thing is eliminating people living from paycheck to make ends meet. And I’m sure everybody have seen this on the flip chart, but how many of us are recruiting people, building business owners, and bringing them out there to deliver this crusade? Guys, that’s exactly what Primerica does. Primerica, you know, pretty much builds a franchise where we teach people how to fish, and we don’t fish for them, right? We get you licensed. We get you developed. We plug you into a system. If you take a look at this room, there’s all walks of life, guys. And if you have an excuse, somebody eliminate it, right? So go out there and buy term, invest a difference, and do the complete job, and make sure that you buy into the law of building, because without building, you’re not living the complete package of Primerica.
And I’m just super grateful of our team, of the entire hierarchy and the entire empire builders, because without any of us, we couldn’t go out there and deliver this crusade. So I’m going to bring back up our head coach, Keith Aro.
