Video Summary
From Haiti To Opportunity
Jude Tranquille shares his journey from Haiti to the United States in 2016, seeking opportunity after personal loss.
With a background in computer programming and networking, he initially worked as a hotel houseman earning $370 per week.
After joining Primerica, he earned $520 from his first client in less than an hour.
That moment shifted his mindset:
Time freedom and leverage were real.
Within two months, he left his job and committed full-time.
Keep It Simple
Complexity kills duplication.
Jude emphasizes:
Less is more
Simplicity scales
Focus on people, not ego
If your strategy only works for you, it’s not leadership — it’s self-employment.
Duplication Is The Foundation
Duplication determines freedom.
He explains:
If you must personally do everything, you created a job — not a business.
Instead:
Build processes others can follow
Aim for 70% effectiveness that 100 people can execute
Avoid systems that only top producers can replicate
True growth comes from team-wide duplication.
Be System Driven
Jude teaches leaders to create frameworks for everything that repeats.
Examples:
Closing conversations
Recruiting presentations
Getting referrals
Calling referrals
Overcoming objections
When systems exist:
Leaders save time
Teams gain confidence
Growth becomes predictable
Systems save time, energy, and money.
Craft A Compelling Story
Storytelling drives recruiting power.
Jude outlines a four-part structure:
Where you came from
What you didn’t like about your situation
How Primerica came to the rescue
Your current results or future vision
Even without major results, you can recruit toward where you’re going.
Vision sells.
Leverage Big Events
Big events create belief.
Jude encourages leaders to:
Promote events aggressively
Expose teammates to powerful environments
Use corporate platforms for leverage
You cannot replicate large-scale belief alone.
Events accelerate growth.
Make Money To Inspire
Income creates credibility.
On Jude’s team:
Districts aim for at least $1,000 per week
Divisions and leaders aim for $2,500 per week
Visible success inspires belief.
Financial progress fuels momentum.
Create A Cause
Jude teaches the power of “us versus them” dynamics — not division, but mission.
Every impactful movement in history had:
A clear cause
A defined enemy (poverty, limitation, oppression)
A unifying vision
Your cause might be:
Financial independence
Retiring your parents
Changing your family’s trajectory
When setbacks happen:
Ask yourself:
Don’t you have a cause?
Purpose overrides obstacles.
Leadership Is A Calling
Jude frames leadership as responsibility.
Throughout history, transformation begins with individuals who step forward.
He challenges the audience:
You are called to lead your family.
You are invited to build something lasting.
Stop sitting back.
Stand up and lead.

Man. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, guys. I want to give a big thanks to God for being in this meeting this morning for his presence. And that would not be possible without them saying, I want to give a special thanks to our team. It’s team fired up. Represent. Make some noise. All right. All right, guys. Seven years ago, I decided to come to America looking for an opportunity. I used to come back and forth, but in 2016, I made that decision. I said, well, after my mom passed away, I said, I need to be here. And I have a good friend of mine when, since I was in Haiti, she started prospecting me, saying, jude, there was a great business opportunity. I know you’ve got to be great at blah.
You know, I was in Haiti and she was prospecting me while being in Haiti, right? And I made that decision. I came to America, but it took me a year to start a business. And imagine I came. I have a computer programming background, computer networking, this type of stuff. But when I came here, I started working at a hotel as a houseman. Do you guys understand what I’m saying? Yeah. So this is where I started. And a year later, I started the business. I used to make $370 working 40 hours a week at my job. And when I started this business, my first month license, the first client that I help, I made 520. I said, damn, that’s a lot of money.
Now, it’s not a lot of money looking at it, but compared to 370 working 40 hours now, I make 520 in less than 1 hour. Would you agree that’s a lot of money? And I started going back to the job with an attitude like, the boss couldn’t talk to me the same way no more. Right? And guess what? Two months later, I quit a job. And here we are. So today, I’m going to give you guys, some of you, a few pointers, a few keys that I have learned over the way that has helped us build our business to build a massive recruiting machine. How many of you love what NZ and Brittany onstead are doing? They raised the bar so high, man. Thank you for raising the bar. These guys raised the bar so high. Right?
So the first thing is, we got to make sure that we keep it simple, okay? We got to make sure that we keep it simple, because a lot of time, we want to complicate things. And if you’re trying to complicate it’s not going to work. It may work for you, but it’s not probably going to work for everybody. Always remember that less is more. Do you understand that? Less is more. Always remember that less is more. So take the focus off of you and put it on your people, right? It’s not just about you, it’s about your people. Next thing, make it duplicatable. Now, remember, duplication. Duplication is. Duplication is the key ingredient to your business success if it cannot be duplicated. You just created a job for yourself. And I didn’t come here to create a job for myself.
I couldn’t found a job anywhere else, right? I came here to build a business, to achieve total financial independence for myself and my family, because it would rather be 70% effective and 100 of the people can do it instead of 100% effective. And only you can do it. Because here’s what I found. If I have to be there all the time, if I’m going to be the one doing everything, I became a prisoner of my business, and I didn’t want to do that. So remember, duplication is one of the most important ingredient to your business success. Next, be system driven. Be system driven. System means save yourself time, energy and money, right? So be more system driven. Create a framework for almost everything that keeps being repeated. Create a framework for it. Like a framework, for example, how to close, right?
Teach your people how to close. Why don’t you have a framework for it? How to recruit your presentation. Keep it simple, but have a framework. These are the things that they need to say on every slides, right? So why don’t you write those down so you have a short video for all of those. How to get referrals. How to call those referrals. I was sitting down with my teammates, and some of them asked me the question, like, how can I call those Referrals that we get? I say, all right, let’s just create a framework for that. So we create a few things that they need to say, and then I just send this out to everybody else. So I don’t need to be there all the time since they have the framework. How to overcome objections. Create a framework for everything.
Here’s the other thing. Learn how to craft a compelling story and teach your people how to craft that compelling story. And that’s one of the things that makes a big difference, especially when you’re recruiting somebody one to one, or even when you’re doing a good presentation. For example, a story is like my background, where I came from, as you guys could see in the introduction. So I said my story, where I came from Haiti. He’s my background. And the second part of the story is what I didn’t like about what I was doing. I was working a job, getting paid $370 a week. Right. I was frustrated about the job, and I didn’t like anything about the job. Right. That’s the second part. The third part is how PrimErica came to the rescue. How Primerica came to the rescue.
I found a friend of mine, introduced me to this business, right? And two months later, I quit the job and I became full time. And the fourth part of the story is your results about where you are right now. If you already achieved some results, or if you don’t have much results yet, or you talk about your offlines, or you talk about where you’re going, folks, if you don’t have results yet, you just started, you still can recruit people towards where you’re going. Michael NSD Razi recruited people when he was selling them a dream, when he was driving a Nissan Pathfinder 1997 that had a hole in it. But now he’s making for half a million dollars. It’s not about where you are right now. It’s about where you go, where you’re going.
Some people think they need to be making a million dollars to be able to recruit so and so. No, you just need to recruit them. You need to have that vision and sell them onto the vision. Do you understand this? Next. Learn to promote big events. Here’s what happened when you promote big events, there are several things that are being done here. I could not do this with my teammates, but I leveraged those events so our teammates were exposed, the teammates, to this environment right here. Would you agree that you would not be able to do this on your own? Would you agree that some speakers, like, they did amazing job, I would not be able to do this, but I leverage.
We leverage those events, expose your teammates to the environment, because if only you keep coming, but you don’t expose your teammate, you’re growing, but your teammates, they’re not growing, and that’s a total disaster. Next. Make money to inspire your people. Learn to make money to inspire your people. We have a wool on our team. My wife, Greg. Give it up for the queen of the dynasty, Nikki Trenquille, in the house. That’s the backbone of the business. We have something you have to make. If you’re a district, division, you have to make at least the very minimum, $1,000 a week, because we know if you make $1,000 a week, there’s no way you’re going to go back to that job. Right? And division, regional leaders, whoever would they need to make 25 at least $2,500 a week.
We’re not talking about the month they need to make because I’m seeing on the scoreboard some district division making $10,000 a month. If it’s possible for them, it’s possible for everybody. And next, create an us versus them dynamic. I believe million dollar earner. Asifiresh talked about that this morning. Create us, an us versus them type of dynamic. What do I mean by that? If you look at the history, every people who impacted the world, there was an us versus them. There was a you versus them. Martin Luther, either positive or negative. Negative one. Like Adolf Hitler, right? There was an us versus them. There’s some positive one, Martin Luther King, even Jesus Christ, there was an us versus them. That means they have a cause. Let me tell you that story real quick.
David came to give food to his brothers and he found his brothers, they were in the middle of the fight and the guy was like 10ft tall, he was huge. And he was talking smack about the people of Israel. And David said, who is this guy that you guys smack like that about the people of God? And the guy said, hey, don’t you see him? It’s obvious. The guy, 10ft tall, right? So everybody was scared of him. David said, no, you guys don’t understand. Don’t you have a cause? You guys don’t get it. Don’t you have a cause? That means I don’t care because how big the guy is. Because if they defeat us, they’re going to take our wives, they’re going to take our children, they’re going to enslave us. That’s the cause. What’s your cause today? Don’t you have a cause?
Oh, jude, my best guy quit on me. Don’t you have a cause? Or Jude, my client canceled on me. Don’t you have a cause? What is your cause? Is it to get your financially independent? Is it to retire your parents? Don’t you have a cause? I came here because I have a cause. Because God call us to lead. We received an invitation to lead. And if you look at it, every time God’s want to make a big move in the history, he never call upon the mass, he call upon a leader. He call upon Moses, he call upon Joshua, he call upon Esther. He calling upon you to be the leader for your family. Guys, God bless you. Let’s stop. Let’s stop and sit up and lay. God bless.
