Man, what a blessing.
God is so good.
You know guys, you know I used to pray, you know, for times like this, you know, I used to dream about being somebody, you know, one day, you know, Primerica gave me the opportunity to one day be somebody.
Alright guys, you know, the best thing is that we all have the same opportunity.
You guys all can be somebody, right? Everybody say I’m gonna be somebody one day.
Alright, say it again.
Say I’m gonna be somebody.
So for those of you guys who don’t know who I am, my name is Ryan Asias.
I come out of the Kamejo Bay Shop and you see guys, so I’m from originally from the Netherlands.
I didn’t always grow up in the best situation, but I truly believe that there’s two different types of people who come from a bad situation in this world.
You see, there’s that person who’s going to be part of the problem, then there’s going to be that other person who’s going to be part of the solution.
I believe that all of us here today are going part of the solution.
Say I’m part of the solution today, right? Everybody in their life, they have a choice.
They have an option to change the course of their life, right? To change the course of their family.
And so guys, I only graduated high school about a year ago.
I’m only 19 years old.
Only 19 years old.
All right? And so guys, I graduated high school about a year ago, you see, and actually I got a division One scholarship to go play at Florida Atlantic University to go play soccer.
But I quickly realized that I didn’t have what it took to become professional, right? And immediately I dropped out of school.
I never really believed in going to college.
I didn’t want to work for somebody else.
You see, somebody told me that the average income in the United States was like $42,000 a year.
I said I’m not worth 42,000, that’s not me.
And so I decided to enlist the military and they’re going to pay me a few breadcrumbs a month to go deal with the Russian Ukraine situation.
But I had nothing else going on in my life.
I had nothing else going on and I was like, you know what, I’ll do it.
But two days before I shipped out for basic training, I met some amazing people, guys.
I met the Toga organization.
I met the Toga family.
I met Eduar and Gabby Fernandez.
I met Ali and Louis Camejo.
And thank you Edwar, for talking me out of going to the military because you absolutely changed my life.
You see, one conversation changed my life.
You see, last month we did over 100 recruits by 52,000 in production.
Because of that one conversation.
Everybody says you’re one recruit away from explosion.
I believe that you’re one conversation away from explosion.
You see today guys, I have the pleasure.
I have the honor to talk to you guys about building a big team, building a big bay shop, right? And making money, right? Who here wants to make money? You guys aren’t loud enough.
Who’s excited, right? Who wants to make money? There we go.
There we go, right? And see, guys, my very first job, right? And it makes me sick to this day.
My J-O-B right? Everybody say just over broke, right? You see, I was working at Bell, right? Didn’t have a car.
I was walking there every day in and day out, right? And every single day made me sick to my stomach.
But I needed Taco Bell every single day.
Every single day.
And see, my entire family, they’re all in the medical industry, right? And their houses are filled with medical supplies.
But guys, we’re in the financial industry.
When you leave your office, what should you bring home? Say louder.
What should we bring home? Right? We should make money.
We’re in the financial industry, right? You see, in the legacy hierarchy, in the aviator hierarchy, on Mondays, we call that comma check monday, everybody say comma check Monday.
You guys should all bring home a comma check for your family on Mondays, right? But when it comes to building a big bay shop, when it comes to building a big organization, guys, it starts with you.
It starts with the leader.
When you have nobody showing, right? When you have nobody believing in you have to believe in you.
Say, I believe in me.
At the end of the day, when nobody else is showing up, you have to be the example.
Eduard Fernandez said this yesterday, that the best example of a leader is an example.
Say I’m the example.
You guys must be the example.
This business is about duplication, right? If you want to duplicate anybody, right? Think, hey, am I the person that I want to duplicate? If I could recruit the perfect recruit, am I that recruit? Right? Am I that person that I would want to recruit if I could promote any RVP? Am I an example of that RVP? Think about that, right? You see, guys, your business, it rises and it falls on your leadership, right? You see, when they take over a bankrupt company, guys, they don’t fire the employees, they fire the president, right? They fire the leadership.
Because if the president, if the leadership was any good, the company wouldn’t be bankrupt.
You see, some of us, we bankrupt our companies, we bankrupt our Primerica businesses, because we don’t decide to develop our leadership.
You guys have to develop the leader within you.
Everybody is a leader.
Everybody can learn to be a leader.
Some people are naturally gifted, but everybody has the ability to learn to grow.
I believe that everybody should focus on just growing.
1% every day.
Everybody say 1%.
You see, guys, there’s only three reasons why somebody will follow you it’s either because they like you, right? They want to be like you, or they’re alike.
You right.
If you were a brand new recruit, would you follow you? One of the things I do every single day, the first thing I do when I wake up is I reflect on the business.
I look at what I could have done better.
And before I go to sleep, I do the same exact thing.
And then I analyze what I did for the day.
What I did for the day.
Is that something that I would want a new recruit to do? If I didn’t recruit anybody today, would I be excited if a new recruited nobody today? Some of us, we get too comfortable.
You see? Some of us, we got to an income level.
Or some of us, we did a production number, and now we’re comfortable.
You guys can’t get comfortable.
Say, I will never be comfortable.
You guys have to grow every single day.
Build your team, build your leadership.
The next thing is, guys, you have to develop full timers in this business, right? See, Primerica, you know, it’s ran by the full timers, but it’s majority part timers.
But it’s not enough just to get a you see, again, you know, going back to that, you know, that horrible.
J-O-B.
That horrible.
Just over broke.
You see, when they first hired me, guys, you see, they didn’t just hire me.
They said, hey, Ryan, go out there and just go do this thing.
Go cook.
No, they didn’t say that, right.
I shadowed somebody I learned from, right? And eventually, you know what, I learned it.
And eventually I got really good at it.
You see, that’s what you have to do in your business.
You guys have to create IPAs.
Everybody say IPA.
You see? Not the alcohol, all right, not the alcohol, but an independent producing agent.
You guys have to add independent producing agents as often as possible.
The more IPAs you have in the business, the more business your business will do.
Are you with me? Right, guys? Continue to add IPAs, continue to field train people, continue to develop other leaders, become the best carbon copy, right? And guys, it starts with doing PDRs, practice, drilling, rehearse.
When I first got started in the business, I didn’t know everything about everything.
I still don’t.
I learned something new every single day.
Every day I learned something, you see? But when I got started in the business, ali and Lewis Kamejo, they did PDR.
Everybody say PDR.
For those of you guys who don’t know what PDR is, that stands for practice drill and Rehearse.
Every single day, I learned the presentation, right? The next day, I learned how to overcome objections.
I learned a little bit about QBI.
I learned a little bit about this and a little bit about that.
And then eventually I pieced it together and I became the leader.
I am today because of them.
They just taught me a little bit at a time.
You guys have to do that with your team, all right? And guys, I want to leave you guys off with this.
You see, I truly believe that facts tell, but stories, they sell.
I truly believe that stories, they resonate with people.
So I want to tell you guys a story about a frog.
A group of frogs.
You see these frogs, they’re wandering through the forest, and eventually they came across this massive hole, right? This big pit.
You see two of the frogs, they fell into that pit.
All the frogs, that group of frogs, they’re telling them, hey, you will never make it out of there.
You guys are going to die down there.
I wish you guys the best of luck.
The first frog, he kept jumping and jumping.
He was trying and trying to get out of that hole.
He just couldn’t get out of that hole, right? And eventually, he listened to that group of frogs, guys.
You see, in that first frog, he decided to give up.
He decided to listen.
That first frog ended up dying down there in that hole.
But that second frog, right, guys, that second frog, he kept jumping.
He kept jumping, he jumped.
And then he put all he had into this very last jump, and he made it out.
He made it out of that hole, right? And when he got out of that hole, the group of frogs that looked at him, they’re like, did you not hear us? Did you not hear what were saying? And he said, no, guys, I thought you were encouraging me.
I didn’t hear you.
I thought you were encouraging me, right? I was too far down.
You see, some of you guys are that first frog.
Some of you guys listen to your broke friends, your broke parents who’ve never done nothing with nothing.
Some of you guys give in too early, right? It took Eduard Fernandez six months to get his license.
No offense, coach.
Right? Took him six months to get his license.
So now he’s at 400,000 income.
We do a celebration for his income.
We did a celebration for his income.
And it feels like we do that every month now, right? Because, guys, he didn’t give up.
You see, Edward Fernandez is an example of that second frog.
Go out there and be an example, right? Go out there and that second frog for your family.
All right, guys? And I truly believe that all of you guys one day will be somebody.
All right? Everybody say, I will be somebody.
You guys all have what it takes, right? I’ll see you at the top because it stinks at the bottom.
All right? Thank you.
