Hi, guys.
Man, you guys look great from up here.
It’s such an honor, guys, this is kind of an end of the Kalahari era, if you will, and we’re just really proud to be here and represent our team.
I just want to really just speak some truth about a little bit about us.
I’m really glad to meet you for the first time.
If you are here for the first time, just a little bit about us, and I think a lot of the previous speakers can attest to this, know, none of us have come from any particular advantages.
The likelihood of my husband, Jack and I to become financially independent based on our upbringing and our previous background was very little to none.
So I am forever grateful, guys, for this opportunity to actually create a first generation business owner out of both of us.
Guys, let’s give it up for that.
Seriously, this is a total life changing experience.
You’re going to really realize that by the end of today, and if not for sure, by the end of tomorrow.
So what were the biggest changes and what were the trade offs that we made? Guys, this is a self transformation movement with a very lucrative compensation plan, okay? But it only goes to those who make the biggest changes, right? So what were some of those changes that we made? And we made the changes from the things that too many people out there are too comfortable or too used to doing or being.
Guys.
So anybody here ever meet people who they feel so overworked? A bunch of you guys talked about that.
We’re so unaware of how much time we actually have to make things happen.
Right? People are wasting so much time on the weekends, Carlos Salazar once told us.
And I could have done the math myself, right? But it was 168 hours a week, he pointed out.
And I’m like, dang, I’m wasting at least 30 of them.
See, this is before the transformation that we took place, right? Being overwhelmed by life.
My goodness, someone said it, right? Addicted to problems, right? Every single time I get on the phone with some of these people, they’re telling me their whole life saga, and it never, ever ends, right? Life will always be taking place with or without a business.
Okay? We got to get in control.
We got to do emotional management, we got to do task management, and we have to make sure that we eliminate the things that take away our energy to build our business.
Staying with the same crowd.
This is a dream killer, for sure.
Guys, examine who you spend the most time with.
I heard years ago when I first joined this business 14 years ago, take the average income of the top five people.
You spend the most time with.
And you’re going to be that average income for the year, right? Giving yourselves too much leeway.
We are here to be our own boss.
So how well do you answer to yourself? How easy going are you about yourself and your standards? Okay, I’m just going to read a couple of these.
I saw this article once upon a time.
I absolutely love it.
I’m just going to point out the first two things.
These are the most important differences between being an employee.
A bunch of us here are employees.
So was I.
Thank God Primerica took me out of that life after only three years.
I joined this business at age 24.
I was out of the corporate world at 26 and never had to look back.
Guys, I never forget where I started from.
And it all started again with the shifts and mindset differences between the employee that I used to be and the boss that I wanted to become.
Okay.
And the first two ones that I love.
Employees think without starting.
Entrepreneurs start without thinking.
I want to shout out the teammates in here who got recruited to this awesome opportunity this week.
Is anybody here who joined the opportunity this week raise your hand.
Really proud.
Guys.
Jalitza, I see you.
Right? Okay.
We got a few of us.
You guys are bosses in the making.
You actually came here without thinking.
You just showed up.
And that’s exactly what I did for my first leadership school back in 2009.
My upline didn’t have to twist my arm.
He didn’t have to strong arm me.
He said it’s a big event.
You have to be there.
Okay? Right? And that innocent, just naivete that I had is actually what ended up getting me pretty far.
Okay.
Two employees wait for the right time.
There is no right time.
The right time is now.
Entrepreneurs make their time right for their opportunity.
These are the two things I really want you guys to hear, okay? Do you have and mentality or an or mentality? This came from my favorite book when I first joined.
Right? Secrets of a millionaire mind T.
Harvecker.
Okay.
You can be a great insert whatever you want to be, great parent, great daughter, great teacher, whatever you want to be and be a great business owner at the same time.
Who said you can’t? No one but yourself.
Guys, I’m going to skip this for a second.
There are levels to your commitment.
It’s a sliding scale and some of us have sort of slid backwards at one point.
But we can advance ourselves today.
And this is my scale, the way I look at it, right? We got the people who do nothing.
Now, if you’re here, you’re not doing nothing but being here.
Guess what? Newsflash.
Doesn’t mean you’re actually doing your business, right? You’re not actually building your business.
All the work happened with the rallying you did up until now.
But the work happens after this event, doing very little.
We know exactly who you are.
Doing things only when it’s easy.
Or if someone actually calls you to get recruited or do an app with you.
Right when it’s convenient.
You only do it when it’s convenient.
Doing what you can.
When you can.
Here and there.
Here and there approach.
Right? Doing things.
Even this is where it starts to shift your life.
Doing things when not convenient.
But you do it anyway.
Doing what it takes.
Okay, now you’re really starting to make a few sacrifices here and there, right? But this is the champions in this room.
Doing things when things are difficult.
Okay? Like the gentleman who just spoke, who had no warm market.
I didn’t have a warm market.
I had to completely prospect my way through success.
Okay? From the beginning, from scratch.
A lot of us can relate.
Doing what it takes.
When something major happens in your life, that’s a big one.
We see a lot of people, things hit the fan, and you just derail yourself.
Okay, guys? But really and truly, it’s doing what it takes, no matter what.
Guys, that’s the sliding scale.
Where are you right now? Okay.
You have the power to change the scale to work in your favor.
Now, I want to have my husband, Jack, talk a little bit about what are the rewards.
Okay.
My favorite reward in this business is designing a lifestyle that fits my style and my values.
And I think Jack has a great thing up to say about that.
Thank you.
Thank you, Grace.
Hey.
Grace is amazing.
And she is such an eloquent speaker.
I hope I can follow that up.
Grace, I want to talk to you about how this Primerica business has allowed us to live a lifestyle.
And we know there’s levels and we’re not at the level we want to get to.
We still have goals that we want to reach.
But if you look at the picture of the beach, those are my parents, my mom and dad, and Grace and I in Cabo San Lucas.
About 30 days, 45 days before that picture was taken, my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
And I looked at her and I said, mom, anywhere in the world you want to go, I’ll take you anywhere in the world you want to go.
I couldn’t do that on my employee salary.
But you know what? With my Primerica business with Grace, I looked at her, I said, anywhere in the world.
You want to go? I thought she wanted to pick Italy.
We just had our uplines go to Italy.
Spent three weeks there and made me jealous every single day.
My mom picked Cabo San Lucas.
I said, okay, we’ll go to Cabo San Lucas.
And the lifestyle that we’re able to have because of the Primerica business.
Sometime in your life, someone in your family is going to need something.
And you have the opportunity right now to build that business, to fill that need.
You’re the answer.
You’re the answer to that prayer that’s not even made yet.
You have to do the business.
You have to be diligent at it.
Mr.
Kim.
MR.
Kim is in the background.
Mr.
Kim imgrated here from Korea a couple weeks ago.
We had women in Primerica.
Now, I didn’t go to women in Primerica.
I do not identify as a woman.
Just want to make that very clear.
But Grace went to women in Primerica.
And Mr.
Kim and I went.
I said, I’m not letting my wife go to Vegas without me.
We’re going to go for the first four days.
So Mr.
Kim and I, we hung out in Vegas for four days together.
I walked into the hotel.
We stayed at the Allora Hotel.
Not a cheap hotel.
We walked in, I handed Mr.
Kim his room key.
He goes, what’s this? I said, this is your room.
He goes, my room? I said, yes.
That’s what Primerica allowed us to do.
Allowed us to get our father in law his own room so I could have my own room with my wife.
It was a win.
You’re going to have the opportunity in your life and your answer to your prayers of the work that you’re going to do.
My children, they went to universal with us.
And all the rides were free.
All the food was free.
Everything was free.
It wasn’t free.
It was the price that we paid to get there.
But they had a school trip, and the school trip said, hey, we’re going to go to Universal.
My daughter said, I already went.
And everything was closed for the price that my parents paid.
You have the opportunity.
This is the opportunity today.
Get started on that opportunity.
Thank you, guys.
We love.
