Video Summary

In this high-energy session, Kartchner and Cortex Davis showcase what true Primerica work ethic looks like in action. The central theme is simple but powerful: consistent personal recruiting fuels business growth.

The Kartchners share their 30+ year journey, emphasizing the importance of plugging into leadership, attending events, and investing in personal growth. They highlight how teammates flew across states to attend training, reinforcing the idea that success requires commitment and self-investment.

Cassandra Cortez details her transformation from earning $80,000 annually in education to building six-figure income through ownership. Starting with modest results, she steadily grew from $17,000 in her first year to over $300,000 annually by year five, proving that consistent execution compounds over time.

Cortex Davis delivers one of the most powerful testimonies. After arriving in the United States just two years ago, she built explosive momentum through relentless recruiting — averaging 50 personal recruits per month. Within eight months, she crossed $100,000 in income, earned OVP in 10 months, surpassed $200,000 shortly after, and now operates at $350,000 cash flow.

Her message is rooted in urgency, ownership, and burning desire. She emphasizes that work ethic must be redirected from building someone else’s dream to building your own legacy.

The overarching lesson: you may not recruit 50 per month, but even one recruit per week can dramatically change your trajectory. Success in Primerica is driven by belief, action, duplication, and disciplined recruiting.

And then Cassandra’s from Chi Town, Chicago. These guys flew in to plug into an event. Actually, Ruth works with John Lavin. These guys came out from Arizona. And you’re directing Mika Saunders, which is million dollar earner in Primerica. I just want him. Each one of these guys, if we had a super Saturday or an event, would be a guest speaker at our event. And what I’d like you to do, just take a minute out and just take where you came from, what you used to do and what’s going on in your business. What made you come out here too?

01:11

We’re the Kirchners. And I was 17 when we got married. Go, go team. And I was in school to be business finance when we saw Primerica. And Trent was a probation officer. And this business has changed our lives forever.

01:29

Yeah, we joined at an early age. I was 23, she was 21. I guess something like that. And it’s just been an incredible time being able to be here. And it’s been an incredible, what, 30 plus years of being in the company. And what it’s offered is maybe not as to the full extent that some of you have been, but it’s been an incredible 30 years.

01:53

So shout out to our leadership team from our local office, including the McClures, who just went over 500,000. Good job, guys.

02:00

Awesome. So one of their directions went over 500 grand. But how many guys you have fly out here from Arizona? 21. So I ran into you guys and you say, hey, could I plug into your event? You understand we have people that live in Atlantic City that aren’t here. This guy’s got on a plane, flew out here. You got just like. Just like these guys. Talk about Jimmy flew up here from Jacksonville, took a bunch of his teammates up here. You got to invest in yourself. Listen, investments are great. Houses, real estate market. Best investment you’ll ever make is in you. Give these guys a hand. Thank you guys for being here. Come on up, Cassandra. I met Cassandra when were modeling, backing it down.

02:39

Tell your story, you guys. I am direct to the incomparable Mika Saunders. My name is Cassandra Cortez out of Chicago, Illinois. I grew up with Mika. She is actually my real life best friend. I was that recruit who, when your best friend joins, they tell you no, and they’re not interested. Mika said, mimi, if you’re my real best friend, you’ll at least get your insurance license to support me. And that’s how she tricked me into primerica. My first 30 days using that insurance license, I made $1,100. And lo and behold, you guys, I used to work as a dean of students for cps. I ended up becoming my best friend’s first regional vice president. I have ownership of my business, and I will absolutely become one of her million dollar income earners.

03:20

Hold on. What you used to make BP before Primerica?

03:27

80,000 a year income.

03:29

Okay, and what’d you make your first 12, 24 months?

03:32

I made 17,000 my first 12 months. And then next I made 54,000. And then the next year I went over 100,000 and then 200,000. My fifth year, I went over 300,000 in annual income.

03:48

See, what we got to do, guys, is see guys that are making 80, 90, 100,000, they need to make an extra thousand to $2,000 a month. And that’s a game changer. Single mom, no excuses. Thanks for being here, baby. All right, you got it. This lady, young lady, is a superstar. Put your pride in your pocket and I’m going to translate. I speak Creole. Okay. No, I’m just kidding. Listen to this. It’s friggin ridiculous. You know, I heard Hector goes. I recruited three directs, four directs. I actually recruited eight directs by accident because five carried over for three months. She’s averaging 50 personal recruits a month. 50 directs a month. And the goal is not for you to leave here, go figure out how to go do 50 directs, but you could do one a week. All right? And so I want you.

04:38

How long have you lived in this country? What do you used to do? And tell me what you got going on?

04:43

Hello, everyone. Bonjour, Sac Pace. First, I want to thank God for the opportunity to be here today. Thank you so much because I didn’t know I have to speak, but when a superstar here, she speak, you know? Right? So I came here two years ago and I trained for America. I am 25 years old now, so I never have work before, but I was scared to work because I see my father work for the. For the. For his entire life. But he work hard. He have everything, but he built something for another person. So I have the. The same skills, the work ethic, but I want to put it on my own legacy. So when I train, Parameka pray Maker saved me. Because when I was in Haiti, the same year I came here, I had a lot of bad situation.

05:51

They burned my house, and my mom told me I don’t have any hope. So I look at her and I say to her, you know what? I’m alive. So you have hope. I made some promise. So I know you have some promise to keep to. When I come here, I have this burning desire to be successful. So I joined Prime America and I share the opportunity with everybody. When someone breathes, I will quit it.

06:24

They breathe?

06:24

Yeah, automatically. If you breathe, I will quit you.

06:29

What do you used to do in Haiti?

06:32

I played professional basketball in Haiti. Yeah. So as a regional leader across my wing, $100,000 per builder wing. And two months after, in 10 months, I was promoted OVP. And two months after, I crossed my $200,000.

06:55

Say that again.

06:57

As regional leader, I cost my wing power builder wing for my first $100,000.

07:03

Months in the business.

07:04

Like eight months.

07:06

Eight months.

07:07

Yeah.

07:08

Yeah, definitely. It’s not good. So in 10 months, I got my OVP promotion, and two months after, I caused my $200,000.

07:17

What’s your role in 12?

07:18

Right now, I am in $350,000 cash flow.

07:25

Okay, so 350,000. Not two years in Primerica. Two years in this country.

07:29

Country.

07:30

The whole country. Now think about this. Not half of it, the whole thing. But listen to this for a second. Imagine you and I going to Haiti speaking French Creole, trying to learn that language, get up on stage two years later and go try to prospect someone. I go, oh, like 50 directs a month. Give these guys a hand. Thank you so much for being here.

07:53

Awesome.

07:54

Awesome. Messi beaucoup. Thank you, guys.
