All right.
All right.
Good morning, good evening, good afternoon.
You guys doing all right? What a day, huh? Man, what a day.
I feel like Charlie on Charlie’s angels.
I have to tell you, I’m nervous as crap.
These girls are just like, incredible.
I got Jimmy here, Andy Onstead.
So we are gonna put 50 pounds of questions in a 20 pound bag.
I’m so honored to be on the stage with you ladies.
So the and gentlemen, first thing I’m going to do is what you should do when you’re nervous.
You should do ice breakers.
And I didn’t tell them this, so we’re going to play a game.
It’s called on an island.
You’re on an island, you only get one thing to eat.
What is it? You got to go fast.
What is it? Come on.
Steak.
Steak, steaks.
Spaghetti.
Spaghetti.
Pizza.
Pizza.
Steak sounds good.
Steak sounds good.
I’m chips and salsa.
Next question.
You’re on an island.
You can go only to 711 to the junk food aisle.
I’m sorry, it’s an island.
What are you gonna pull off the island? Off the shelf.
Go.
Lemon hot cheetos.
Nice.
Reese’s.
Reese’s.
Plain m and M’s.
Popcorn.
No gummy bears.
No gummy bears.
All right.
Gummy bears.
Dave knows I would do for sure.
Gummy bears.
All right, so we have Suzanne and Justin.
Stacy from Oklahoma.
All these girls you’ve seen here, right, the entire time.
Casey Kyle Morris from Michigan.
Killing it.
Jamie and Jordan Stallman, killing it.
Abigail and Eric Williams killing it.
And of course, Abby Schoeffner as well from New Mexico.
Just incredible.
Y’all look at their numbers and everything.
Just insane what they’re doing.
So first question is, what got you into primerica and what keeps you into primerica? You can start it and send it down.
So what got me in Primerica was really the timing of it.
You know, at the time, I was just super desperate to find anything.
And I don’t think that I would have, you know, seeing like, a post on Facebook.
We all started from that and seeing that if I wasn’t desperate, I probably been like, it’s just another Facebook.
Right? So that’s what got me into it.
And what keeps me into it is having the opportunity to just have that vision to see my dreams and know it.
It’s a reality.
So, yeah.
And you, if I heard before, you were already banging on the door.
You were looking.
Yeah, I was looking for everything.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I, like Andy said I got declined from farm bureau.
They said you don’t have enough experience.
I got a license before I started.
I actually got it for globe life.
Called them, never heard from them.
And I even had something lined up with the government, the USDA, and there was a bunch of things that happened.
So I waited for six months for them to officially offer me that job.
I was at a little boutique.
It was actually 1200 a month at Max.
And I have horses, I rodeo.
That’s my dream, that’s my passion.
You know, I don’t have kids, I’m single.
So that’s really what I focus on is having that ability to be able to live out my dream life and eventually do that for my future family.
That’s awesome.
You’re doing it.
Okay.
What brought you here? What keeps you here? So I was a school teacher and needed some extra income and saw the opportunity on Facebook and reached out and got started.
What keeps me here is family financial freedom.
Being able to, as someone said yesterday, not have to tell them no.
Like, to always be able to tell them yes no matter what.
Yeah, teacher.
Another one coming up.
Right, case, go ahead.
What brought you here? What keeps you here? I’m Jamie, but yeah, so I didn’t do that.
Sorry.
I got your card right here.
You’re good.
Honestly, the flexibility.
I’m a stay at home mom with two kids and so being able to stay home and make money is awesome, but also it keeps me here.
And then the friendship that I’ve had throughout the company.
Yep.
And for me, I ran a daycare for about almost eleven years.
And I primarily did that because I was a mom and I’m a mom first, right? How many of my mamas out there, right? We’re here because, you know, we saw the dream and we saw Forbes magazine, right? Number one employer for women.
We were blown away.
And that’s originally what stuck out to me was I get to continue to be at home with my babies and I get to make some money on the side.
Right? No brainer.
I can do this.
And then what kept me here was the money.
I mean, come on, when you can look.
And I could work a 60 hours workweek, running, operating and doing all of the work to run a daycare, you know, for 30 plus families.
And then I could make the same amount of money doing 2 hours of work in primerica.
How is that not a no brainer? So that’s why I’m still here today.
That’s perfect, man.
That is really good.
All right, bring us home.
So what brought me here was I wanted to rodeo.
Still, I wanted to be a stay at home mom, and I wanted to make a lot of money.
Okay.
So I got into primerica off of a Facebook post.
I know y’all have heard me speak multiple times, and you’re probably thinking, is there a different story? There’s not.
It’s a Facebook post.
So I.
You know, I get to rodeo still.
I get to take my kids with me.
I get to take my husband with me.
He’s like a little tagalong.
I’m just kidding.
He got to come with me this weekend.
This is his first time at one of the ECBS events.
So what keeps me here is that freedom of being able to go to a rodeo, sit in the truck for an hour, make $1,000, and then go do what I love.
What continues to stay is my kids, my family.
I get to be at home with them all the time, run meetings at home with them all the time, and I get to be that mom and that wife that I want to be.
Yeah, that’s great.
So, you all see the common denominator here, right? A lot.
It resonates with what Bill Lorender talked about.
I’m not a pro on this yet on the four color personalities, but I think all of you are red pretty much.
And they listen, it costs money to take care of your kids, right? And it seems like.
Correct me if I’m wrong, you all you ladies actually use your children as a reason, not as an excuse.
Some of you just need to hear this right now.
So, one of you, right.
Could I.
Somebody just get a name? Would y’all just stop with your kids as a stupid excuse? I had to do that for you for just a second.
Yeah.
All right, great.
All right, so now we’re talking about district leaders.
So when you were.
It’s a two part question.
When you were a district leader, right.
Were you qualified? And then how many district leaders do you have now? And whoever wants to intertwine the importance of district leaders.
Okay, so go ahead.
You start.
We’ll go back that way again.
Okay, that’s perfect.
So, when I was a district leader, I’ll be 100% honest with you.
I don’t even know if I was qualified.
I just had my head down, and I was doing the work.
That’s it.
That’s all I was doing.
And, you know, one day they said, we’re gonna get you up to 80%.
I said, okay, that sounds.
That sounds a lot better than 50.
That sounds good to me.
You know, so I think.
And we have about ten to 15 district leaders.
Some of them are here today.
And I think the importance of it is really just like I said, keeping your head down and knowing where you’re at with your numbers is so important.
And he used to get mad at me because he’d call me, what are your numbers? I’m like.
And he’d be like, that’s not good.
You need to know right then and there.
So that’s the thing that I’ve learned how to do.
And when you’re just new and you’re a district leader and you’re working and working, you know, keep your head down and focus on your own goal, you’re going to want to compete with everybody else in the company.
That’s what we’re all here for.
It’s all a competition.
And I think it just brings it out even more when all you’re focused on is the input and the work put into it.
Yeah, that’s great.
Okay, first question.
Was I qualified? Kind of like Abby, I’m not real sure if I was qualified.
I just know that I.
I was plugging into the meetings, listening to my coaching, duplicating the system, doing what they were showing us to do and being coachable and just, you know, continue to do what they were showing us how to work the system and go from there.
Second question.
District leaders.
I think I have about 1010 district leaders.
That’s a real good problem to have.
You have so many, you don’t know.
I can assume.
I don’t even know.
Good problem to have.
Right.
Awesome.
Great.
Go ahead.
Yeah.
So same kind of answer to the first one.
I’m actually under Suzanne, and so I remember when we talked about, you know, the different percentage of contracts, it really stuck out to me.
Why wouldn’t you want to make the most you can make? You’re going to be here and do that.
And so that was really big for me.
One thing I like to ask people is, you know, what would $600 an hour look like for your family? You know, what is that going to do for you? Because I know what it did for me.
And then as far as how many I have, I believe five or six.
Okay.
Common theme, I hear.
Go ahead.
And, yeah, I really don’t know if I was qualified as a district leader.
Same.
Right.
You’re going to see the pattern.
I put the numbers up, I learned to skill up, and I went head first.
How many of you guys had no idea what you were doing right when you were licensed? And we had no idea what were doing, but we knew we needed to do it, and it wasn’t going to get done unless I did it.
So I figured it out.
I skilled up fast and I learned how to recruit.
And so I don’t know if I was really qualified, but I sure thought I was.
And then, you know, I think.
I think we’re again, about maybe six to eight district leaders and growing incredible.
I’ll go against the grain.
I was qualified.
Thank you.
Finally.
I like to think I was qualified.
I’m a very confident person.
You ask my husband, he’s like, she lacks no confidence.
But that’s kind of what you have to have in this business.
You have to have a lot of confidence.
You have to have a lot of willingness to learn.
And that’s what I had, and that’s what my coach, institute, Jessica Powers, is my RVP.
As you can see, I don’t lack any confidence from Jessica.
Right.
She teaches you how to be confident.
And as far as district leaders, ten to 15.
Yeah, sorry.
Yeah.
So I think by a show of hands, let me know if you agree with the statement.
It’s very important to develop qualified district leaders one more time.
That’s great.
So now I’m going to ask a selfish question, because I have done sometimes really great on this, and I’ve also sometimes just wanted to put my head in the sand on it.
When it comes to social media, whoever thinks you’re the most of the guru, but you have some great coaches in it, give us some tips, some things that really work great for you in social media and some.
Come on now, don’t do that.
Social media, right? Whoever thinks they’re the guru on it, or in a few of you, go ahead.
Okay.
I love me some social media, right? I mean, how many of you guys love social media? How many of you guys have used it to your advantage, right? The old school way, right? When you had to go door to door and you had to, you know, pick up that phone and call.
Well, guys, now you have social media.
You have hundreds of thousands of, if not millions of people right there that are at your fingertips.
So if you don’t know how to use it, then that’s a skill that you need to skill up on, because social media, you know, you make a Facebook post and how many people love mystery, right? You don’t have to go around broadcasting, hey, come, I’m gonna sell you life insurance.
Right? No, like, hey, check out what I’m doing.
I’d love to spread the word, right? But the cool thing is getting into markets.
All of us are all from different states.
Okay, guys.
And what’s really cool is you get to use social media to your advantage to get into those new markets and to start into different states.
Right? And Primerica has the most incredible option for you to be licensed in any state you want.
Right? And so the market is endless.
And it’s all just by word of mouth through social media, asking for shares and having people, friends, family, be willing to step out and say, hey, I support you.
I have no idea what you’re doing, but I’ll do something for you.
What can I help you with? Okay, so hang on.
I want to dig in there a little bit because you said if you’re not very skilled, you need to get skilled.
Okay, I know how to.
If you have 200 friends, but I’ve got 5000 friends, who’s gonna get more attention activity likes you or me? Me.
Okay, so if you only have 200 friends, well, go find, you know, Abby over here who’s got, you know, 3000 and go.
Friend suggestion.
Add you.
Add you.
You know, are you macho? Married, aged, children, homeowner.
Right.
Occupation.
Boom.
Right? Great.
They’ve got a wedding picture.
Oh, my gosh.
We’ve got a mutual friend.
Hey, it’s so nice to meet you.
I’m Casey.
Thought you looked like an incredible person.
Just wanted to say hi.
Spread the word.
Yeah.
Versus stalking.
You’re being genuine.
You’re being.
Yeah, you’re being.
Listen, you know, because I’m a manatee and I live in Florida.
I don’t have that problem.
Nobody wants to stalk me.
But I hear other people get stalked.
So you actually talk to them like they’re a real person? They are real people, and they are potential clients and they’re potential recruits.
They’re potential clients.
And so why not take the opportunity, you know, whether it’s flying here, right? How many of you guys flew in a plane on the way here? Okay.
You know, you have so endless opportunities to go, hey, how are you? Great.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah.
Oh, what do you do? Oh, you’re traveling for business, right? You can strike up those conversations.
Be a real person.
Okay.
You guys can be a real person and have the best interest at heart for everyone.
So I know you’re gonna say something, too, so I’m pulling away here.
Be real.
Make connections and talk to them just like were friends because we are now on Facebook or whatever.
Okay, awesome.
Go ahead.
You were gonna throw something in the fire.
Yeah, to add to that.
I mean, Casey did a great job.
She’s kind of like the queen on our team.
Like, we all love Casey, right? Yeah.
I think a biggest tip that I’ve learned is it’s not all about your personal, you know, social media.
Your personal posts, like, duplicate that through your team.
Show them how to do it.
Because I can’t go out and talk to 200 and something people a month, but if I have 200 people from the last month, they can.
Sure.
And go out and do it again.
Right.
Or maybe next month it’s going to be 400 because each person talks to two, just like Bill talks about, you know, three and get that three, right.
So teach that to your people and show them how they can get activity.
Show, like.
And also show it to them fast.
Right.
You know, you don’t want them sitting around for two weeks being like, man, this thing don’t work.
But if they post on Facebook the next day to get started, they got 100 likes and, you know, 50 comments.
They’re like, dang, people actually want to do this.
Like, I think I’m in for, you know, a good spill.
Just show that excitement at first and that.
And you’re going to do that through the activity on social media.
So duplicating that is huge.
Selfishly.
Thank you so much.
This is helping me.
Oh, come on, Brant.
Use different social media platforms.
Just don’t focus on Facebook.
Right.
Facebook’s great, but, like, if you have more friends and followers on Instagram, use that.
Like, to each his own.
You know, I was very blessed.
I come from a rodeo background, and so all of my people in my team all have rodeo backgrounds.
And one thing that we share, Abby can attest to this because I brought Abby Schoffner on, is we want to work from home and we still want to rodeo.
We want to take what we can on the road, and we want to make money.
Rodeo is very expensive.
I don’t know if any of, you know, very expensive.
Go price an f 350 really quick.
Oh.
So I paid $25,000 for my horse.
I spend on average about $5,000 a month just on entry fees.
To feed a horse is probably around 2000 to 3000, depending on when you need to feed them.
And I have 21 horses at my house, so I need to make a lot of money.
Right.
And so I got that.
Those people, right.
I went from living check to check to check.
I needed money in my account the next day or I wasn’t going to be able to feed myself because my horses obviously come first.
And I went from feeding myself, not very much, as you can tell, to feeding myself and my animals and my kids and just taking care of my business and having money still left over in my bank account to do what I want, when I want.
Okay.
Yeah, that’s.
I thought boats and hunting were expensive.
There’s another level, so you only got a minute and a half.
Let’s just jump right to.
Cause y’all are on the number one recruiting team in all of primerica, which is incredible.
Give us what whoever wants to blurted out.
We got a minute.
Almost.
What changed when you sold out the recruiting? Everything.
Yeah, everything.
I went from personally going from three direct recruits a year ago to now almost over 100 recruits a month.
And that was all because of these right here.
It took one east coast builder school for me to go, holy cow, this works.
I’d watched the videos from Art Williams.
I had learned and skilled up, you know, from.
From the greats, from Bill.
Right.
And, you know, you had Andy, you know, teaching us and preaching at us and yelling at us every day.
Massively recruiting.
That is the answer to all of your problems.
And it goes, yep.
You’re sitting in the background going, yeah, I know.
And you got to massively recruit.
But.
But you can talk about it all day until you actually do it.
And once you actually do it and you find your people who are going to do it with you, oh, man, there’s no stopping it.
Goes on autopilot.
And I’ve been studying for my sie the majority of the month and gonna be walking across the stage for convention as an RVP and.
And so it.
But it’s crazy is I think I recruited one person this month.
Maybe.
Maybe my team has, and my team has done over $35,000 of premium this month.
My team has helped bring in over 100 people this month.
And it wasn’t just me and it was everybody else winning and supporting each other.
So massive recruiting is the answer to everything.
Incredible.
We’ll give it up for the redline, ladies man.
