Rob, that’s a little ridiculous.
And thank you.
God’s plan or a good plan, guys, which one you want? So why are you fighting it? All right, we’re gonna talk about three things tonight.
And the acronym is Ace.
All right, so that’s action.
Compressing.
Talking about compressing time and then execution.
We’re going to talk about the time frames really quick, and the ratio on tonight’s speech that I’m going to do, I’m allotted ten minutes, 15 seconds out of that.
Ten minutes is 2.5%.
Take that to ten years, and it’s 91 days and 6 hours.
That was a little awkward.
Yeah.
If I only get ten minutes to talk.
Do you agree? I just wasted some time.
Me, too.
Why are you guys not taking more action in your business? Can you make more time in a day? 24 hours.
Right? What did I say last time? We all get the same 168.
Can’t make more.
What can you do? Somebody said it.
Compress it.
Do more with less.
Some of y’all farting around with this thing and just thinking that you’ve got forever to do it.
Do you have tomorrow guaranteed? Why are you waiting? Why would you wait to do tomorrow what you should have done today? Compressing timeframes.
I got a new number for you for today.
You’ll have no idea what that means.
I’m not even going to ask you to guess.
That’s how many days it took us to go from iba to owner.
602 days.
We were the fourth fastest in primerica history.
When Bobby Peterman told me that, I was.
I was mad.
I was going to say a different word, but I was mad.
Do you know why? Because I didn’t even know it was tracked.
Some of you out here, just rolling day to day, and you don’t have a mark on the wall.
You don’t have a goal.
And if you do have a goal, you don’t hold yourself accountable.
Would you all agree that primerica works? Yes or yes? Yes or yes? Why don’t you? I’m not the nicest guy, but I’m a guy that’s going to fix your mindset to get you into action.
Tomorrow.
Tonight.
Tonight.
One of my killers closed during the builder’s school while the rvps were in the locker room.
Why would you wait till tomorrow? But what example are you setting for your people? She knows that.
That’s the standard.
Because that’s what we do.
What’s the last thing I said for the e execution? Innovation’s rewarded, guys.
Execution is worshipped.
Would you know my name if I didn’t come up and just piss everybody off because I went so fast? And how’s he doing? Andy must be running his appointments.
Nobody would know our name, but we execute from day one.
I told Annie I was going to run fast and break things.
Put me back in my box, tell me when I’m wrong, and I’ll fix it.
Some of you are so afraid to take action because you don’t know what you’re doing, that you never do anything.
You don’t do anything.
I need to know everything I need to know before I can go do something.
No, you don’t.
You’re never going to know everything.
Every client that I meet brings me a new scenario that I haven’t seen before.
Well, not lately, but sometimes you’re never going to know anything.
Quit worrying about what you don’t know and just go do it.
Fail forward and do it faster.
Because guess what? If you fail forward enough times, you’re going to be okay.
Because you’ll stop failing and you’ll just start figuring it out until you get into a harder and harder problem.
Fail forward faster.
It’s okay to fail, guys.
It is not okay to not try, period.
Tyler, you asked me earlier, like, how do you get them going? Pour belief into them and make them go independent? You can create urgency by creating some sort of crisis of absence of your leadership.
Hey, Tyler, man, look, I was going to run this.
I can’t.
Kids in the hospital got to go.
That’s a little extreme.
Don’t use that one.
But, like, you get it right.
Don’t ever use your kids being in the hospital as an ex.
Like, you don’t put that in the world.
But you get it right.
You go close the thing and do the thing that only you can do while you let that person go try.
Because if they fail, who cares? You weren’t going to be there anyway.
It wasn’t going to close because you weren’t there.
Just go try.
We’ll talk about it when you’re done.
We’ll talk about it when you close.
Right? So compressing.
Time frames, guys.
We did, in 18 months what some people will take 18 years to do or will never do, ever.
18 months.
I stood up here last time and showed you what a part timer could do because I wanted you to believe it was possible.
Because some of you don’t.
You just don’t believe.
Like, no way.
No way that could be done wrong.
Scoreboard.
Somebody asked me one time, oh, well, I need to make ten grand this month.
Great.
How do you know? Like, how are you gonna do it? Well, I’m gonna.
I’m gonna set this many appointments, and that’ll probably lead to this many ibas and this many plpps and blah, wrong.
Do the math.
How much premium do you need to close right now to make ten grand? Ten grand divided by 75%, because that’s your advance, and divide by your freaking commission percentage, and that tells you what you need to go do, period.
I teach my people that all the time.
How can you hit your goal if you don’t know how to do it? And if you don’t put a mark on the wall, how you gonna do it? Can’t.
You gotta strip away all the nonsense and say, what do I need to do? And then you need to take action.
The first letter, a, right? Go do it.
Quit being afraid to succeed, please.
So many of you are.
You’re your own worst enemy because you block your own blessings.
Like, oh, God, I could just do it if God would give me an appointment.
You know that appointment you’re waiting for God to give you? It’s the phone call you won’t make.
It’s the phone call you won’t make, period.
Guys, I said it before, right? Innovation is rewarded.
Execution is worshipped.
What you put up on the scoreboard is what we will remember in time, because that’s what’s tracked.
Nobody’s going to remember what you wanted to do.
Nobody cares.
Go do it.
Go close it.
And if you screw it up, who cares? Rob, we talked about data the other day, right? You’re like, man, like, my close rate’s really low.
Like, I don’t think so.
I think you’re tracking the wrong data.
You’re.
You know, you’re not using qualified data, right? Quit beating yourself up over something you can’t control.
You went on an appointment, Tyler, man, I didn’t close that thing, coach.
Okay, did they have any money? No.
Could you have closed it if you wanted to? You’re not broken.
They’re broke.
There’s a difference.
Come on.
Right? You feel that? I know you do, man.
Some of you are just this close.
This close.
Guys.
Where’s the gold? Where’s the diamonds? When you’re mining, is it right here? Is it on the surface? Where do you find it? Deeper.
You dig and it’s down.
And it’s sometimes three, four, five layers down.
Some of you go get one person and you’re like, great, here we go.
This is the one.
No, they ain’t.
Listen to me, guys.
I want you to go break every record you’ve ever broken.
I want you to go be real with yourself.
Go look at your last rolling twelve.
Go look at what you did in twelve months.
And do it in a month.
And then come back in October and tell me how much better your business is.
Can you guys go break some records for me? That’s all I got.
Go do it.
Let’s go.
