How’s everyone doing? First off, I want you to give yourself a big hand.
Congratulations in qualifying for LDF.
I know you guys fought really hard to be here.

So I want you to feel proud and feel like you’re a champion because you are a champion.

So my name is Donna Yangapathy.
For some of you guys that don’t know me, I’m just going to Give a few minutes real quick on my story.
I don’t have much time.
I got the timer right here But I’m gonna try to make it really fast.
So I’m originally from Guyana.
Most of you guys are from the Caribbean Thank you, right and came here for the American dream, right?So as we got started in Primark prior to Primark I used to work at Old Navy and I was also going to school to become a nurse some of you guys can relate And after a few years, you’re like, um, let me just come on this side.
This is where the money’s at, right? You And, um, you know, we took a look at Primerica and what we wanted was a dream life, which we’re going to have tomorrow.That’s all we’re going to talk about, having a dream life.
And I said, wow, if this thing could work for me, okay, that would make me, um, you know, something that I could really make a difference.
And I said, you know what, this is something that I want to do, okay? So as we got started in Primerica, um, you know, we became a regional vice president making a six figure, but that’s only the beginning, guys.So what you’re gonna get today is really how to become a six figure income earner, which is a SNSD and, um, and more, okay? So it’s so much to learn today, so I hope you guys got your pen and notebook ready, take a lot of notes.
Um, I actually created a slide, I’m not sure if Guys are not gonna be able to see it, so I’m just gonna run through it really quick.But my topic for you guys today is how to be attractive in business.
Okay? Now, a lot of times when you come from a background off, you know, just working a 9 to 5, you know, you just basically just have to show up and get paid, right? It doesn’t matter.
I mean, it does matter how you look.
But you just, you just, you show up, just you get your paycheck at the end of the week, and that’s all that matters, right?But, um, when you take a look at Primerica, um, as you come in business, you become a business owner.
And as a business owner, you kind of sell yourself, okay? Like, Primerica is awesome, but it’s really you that’s marketing it.
Does that make sense? So you definitely have to work on becoming attractive.
Now, everyone starts where you’re, you’re, you’re, you’re not really sure where you, you know, how to do it.But you learn and you grow through the process.
Does that make sense? So one of the first things you got to work on is you got to work on your mindset daily.
Now, a lot of us, including myself, you know, we come from a background where people are used to being negative.
Anyone can relate and being positive is not the most easiest thing, but that’s something that you got to work on.Okay? And if you understand business and you study business, you’re going to know that not everything works out in the beginning.

or there’s no leader here that just got started and everything worked out perfect for them, right? So as you work on your thinking, the one what I want you to think of, um, what is your thinking like on a daily basis?What do you think? What do you think about? Are you thinking positive? Are you thinking optimistic? Or you’re just thinking, man, what if this don’t work? The minute you get that thinking, you switch it.
Think something positive, right? I know it’s not easy, but I promise you if you keep working on it, it’s gonna become like a magnet, right? Instead of complaining, why me? What, say this instead.
Why not you? Why not you, right? God chose you to be in this opportunity.
You know there’s millions and millions of people in New York City and some of them never get recruited, Jada.
How crazy is that? No one ever talk to them about the opportunity, right?The next thing you gotta do is you gotta become a self improvement movement.
Okay? And this is Good? Okay.
Alright.
You gotta become a self improvement movement.
You gotta become like a magnet.
When people see you, they just wanna, you know, gravitate to you.
They wanna hear what you’re saying, cause you always have something positive to say, okay?Um, Primerica is 90 percent mental and 10 percent work.
So, if you know that already, what do you gotta work on on a daily basis? Up here, because everything else is gonna flow.
Does that make sense? So, if you work on here and you control here, The work is gonna be easy, if that makes sense, right? And then you also have to know your why.Now, knowing your why is what keeps you focused and keeps you motivated.
Now, Chris, in the beginning, when, you know, when Chris always talked to us about our why, anytime I were to say my why, it would make me cry.
Does your why make you cry? Does it make you cry? If it does not make you cry, that means you gotta get another why, okay?Alright, so we’re running through.
So another thing to, um, As you become attractive, just a few fundamentals.
One of the things that you gotta do at all times is you gotta get around the right people.
You gotta get around the right people that are setting big goals and they’re doing the impossible.
I’m gonna tell you this, right?Some of you guys, you probably be where, I know someone that, you know, they didn’t have the numbers that they wanted to have to be in this meeting, but they got up that morning, Carl, and they decided they was gonna do it two by two.
And guess what they did? Two by two, and they were here, so give it up for Anissa right there.Such a champion, right? I was like, we can’t have this meeting without you.
You gotta be here.
Okay, you do the impossible.
And that might be something small, but that was big.
Okay, cause some people, they gave up.
They were like really close, and they gave up.
Okay? Another thing you gotta do is, as you become a magnet, is you gotta get good with people.Okay? Okay? Now, I love this one.
It talks about do what’s required versus, do, do what’s required versus what you want.
Isn’t it easy when nobody’s watching to just You know, I mean, not show up to train, well, not show up to training, or don’t go on your appointments, reschedule your appointments for whatever reason.I, I want you to think, think about this.
Hector Lamarck say that every day that you don’t do what you’re supposed to do, it delays you three days.
of you becoming financially independent.
So what you focus on, you’re doing what’s needed to be done, not what you want to do.
I know you don’t want to come to the office and make those phone calls because you feel like you call those people already.But guess what? Staying home and not doing anything, that’s not going to work either.
And, um, another thing that you got to focus on is just forming new habits.
Now, we all know that habits is something hard to break.
Am I correct? It’s this.
It takes 21 days to form a new habit.
So how about we get rid of the habits in 2023, especially guys.And I also have some that didn’t get us to where we need to be and form some new habits.
Okay.
And the last thing on that one is we got to recruit by day, sell at night, evenings and weekends.
And that’s just something that you can’t not do.
Okay.
What do most people do on weekends? Sleep, average, sleep, relax.You’re Caribbean, you cook, clean the house, you know, take out the whole carpet, you know, you do the whole nine yards, right? We work on Sundays.
We get in the feel on Sundays.
We roll up our sleeves and we go to the KT, all right? That’s what we do on Sundays.
Okay, all right.
So moving along, I might have to run through this because I only got like two minutes, right?So you got to become a master.
Now becoming a master, you got to get fully licensed, that’s.
Your life insurance license, investment license.
By the way, all the licenses that Primerica have, you should have them.
Because what that does, it creates multiple streams of income for you, okay? Now, mastering your products, all that’s part of it.Um, what that does, it increases your confidence.
The more you know, the more you do.
Right.
The less, you know, the less you want to do.
So you become, you know, you increase your activity, which increases your results.
Okay.
The next thing you got to work on is you got to work on building your character.
Okay.As you build your character, you build your leadership skills and your sales skills.
Leadership skills.
Is that important? Yes, definitely.
Right.
The next thing you got to do is you got to work for what you work for what you want or Work for what you deserve.
Now, do you deserve a good life? Everybody deserves a good life?So it’s not just gonna happen, you have to work for it, right? Everyone understand that? Stop overthinking.
Stop overthinking.
You ever know when you, you know, you hire someone and then, you know, A day later, they say, I’ve been thinking, I got this offer.
You guys know people like that? Stop overthinking, okay?And um, the focus is, focus on extreme growth all the way to RVP.
Do we have some RVPs in this room right here? Yeah? Do we have some RVPs in this room right here? Alright, that’s good.

So this is probably off topic, but I’m gonna share it with you We got to have if we’re gonna become attractive ladies and guys, you know gentlemen We got to make sure that we have a good wardrobe right now You may not have all the clothes that you want because you know, it is what it is But you gotta work on becoming attractive, you gotta make sure that you’re dressed the part, does that make sense?When someone look at you, they must say, Okay, this person looks like they’re going somewhere, I’m gonna take a chance, I’m gonna listen to them.
And I’m gonna share this with you, when Sheldon and I was working together way back, Sheldon always looked sharp, he always dressed the shirt, Dressed, dressed the part, he always had on a button up shirt, and he always looked good.And, he would sit in front of literally anybody, and he would close them.
That’s, so that’s, that’s what he did.
That helps, just so, you know, if you’re not too comfortable or confident, you just dress nice, okay? Ladies, dress shoes, slacks, sweaters, makeup, a little makeup would help too, alright? So, um, don’ts, no crop tops, mini skirts, I know you ladies, you’re sitting in front of someone, husband and wife, you know?Yes? You know, you want the guy checking you out on the side? But like, you know, here’s my number right there.
Okay, and that brings me to the end of my time, but I need one more minute, one more minute, right? And the men, um, no jeans, sneakers, hoodies, sweatpants.
You guys know all of this stuff already.
So if we know it, we should, we should do it, right?And the last part is you becoming an attractive person.
I’m just going to run through this.
First, you got to become a leader.
Then you got to help develop other leaders.
That’s how you get to RPP, developing other leaders.
The next thing is, um, I’m just going to really run through it.
Leaders are the best of the best.And what does that mean? They do it first.
Okay? So you lead by example.
A true leader eliminates distraction.
You should not be distracted until you sign your RVP contract.
Can I get everyone’s attention on that one, right? Attention on that one.
And leaders stay close to the team, okay? Leaders are independent and aggressive.Booking invites, booking appointments.
You can’t get tired of that.
