You know, before I start the presentation, I want to talk about those two things.
About what kids told before about balanced life.
I believe that people who talk about balanced life, they are poor guarantee because that really you never.
I don’t believe in balanced life.
Why? When I.
When I grow my business, I be in imbalance in the business.
Right now.
I imbalance in my life.
Why? Because I have a lot of time.
I travel a lot and you know, I have.
I remember my parents, when I worked hard, they.
You worked a lot.

You get late to home, whatever.
Now they told me the same thing, but we travel.
You travel a lot.
You don’t be a.
You know, you never gonna have a balanced life.
And until before get to the million.
Really, I never do exercise because I really.
You are on the field.
You don’t have time to exercise, you don’t have time to eat well, because between appointments you get something fast, like a McDonald’s something.
You know, it’s like if you want to have a balanced food, balanced diet, you need to eat certain hours, certain.
You know, if you are on the field like every day, all the night, it’s like impossible.
Okay.
And if you do that, you don’t have time to have enough appointments.
And that’s why when I see the people like going to the gym all the time, I know that people are disciplined, but are disciplined not to make money discipline to.

I don’t know, it’s more because they want to look well for others people.
And I prefer to look well to my family as a.
Financially.
Now I have the time to do whatever I want.
But you know that the violent life.
I don’t know.
Think about it.
But you know, I don’t.
I don’t believe in that.
In that.
And the other thing, I never.
I never got to any seminars about different people than Primerica.
I decide to learn Primerica.
I decide to buy ectolamar.
The same fundamentals I look all day.
I remember when I started Primerica at that moment was a CD for the millennium.
CD is something you put in the dvd.
That was DVD that great.

You know, I have all Primerica.
Why? Because I want to learn the business from people from Primerica.
Why? Because I don’t believe the people outside Primerica because they don’t know our business.
You know, I prefer to learn from Kotto than from other people.
You know.
And that’s my philosophy.
It not be to your philosophy, but I prefer to spend the time going to the big schools.
I travel all around the country going to fast Start school from other leaders.
Like in California they had the west convention.
I pay a lot of money to go there and I want to learn more about the business.
That’s why I plug in to Omar because he know a lot about the business.
He know a lot of.
And I still learning.
He’s.
He’s my coach, he’s still helping me to grow.
And I don’t like to do seminars, I don’t like to do schools.
But Omar, I prefer to plug into Omar schools because he do everything.
I don’t just go show up and that’s it.
Now I need to do the schools, prepare the tickets and all of that.
And I don’t like that.
I’m doing very well, but it’s not my thing.
But the team need that.
Normally you need to do the thing that they are necessary.
Doesn’t matter you like it or not.
And that’s the philosophy that we have today.
Keith told me about this morning for me to do training.
I gonna give you some training.
Last night we talked about the dream life and all of that.
But today I’m going to give you something that I think going to help you.
The to do list is wind.
I recommend this book because I applied in my life before I read the book it had 10,000 hour rules.
Okay? The liar.
What this.
What is the rule about everything you do for 10,000 hours? You’re going to become an expert, okay, for example, if you are a waitress, I don’t wait, I never be in a restaurant.
But if I be there for and I be doing that for 10,000, do you think I going to become a good waiter? There’s guarantee anything you do.
And let’s put this in my life.
Before moving to United States, I’ve been in the Colombian national team for roller hockey.
I’ve been a goaler, travel around the world representing Colombia.
This is in the newspaper before the Internet and all of that.
But 10,000 rows.
Any job, in any job, you work 40 hours for 52 weeks a year.
By five years you become experts in your job, okay? That’s why it’s so important.
And when you hire somebody, you’re looking for experience.
People who already did what you’re looking for to hire.
In my Primerica business, the first two years I worked part time, okay? In 2004, where I started, I worked 15 hours, seven days a week.
By half of the year, 26 weeks because the other 26, I’ve been in Colombia.
That year I worked 2700 hours, okay? I made 51,000.
2005, I did the same.
I made 71,000.
Okay.
During that two years and in 2006, I start full time because my wife moved to the United states, I worked 12 hours per day, 7 days, 52 weeks.
That means 4300 hours.
I made 100,000.
After all these three years, I accumulate 9800 hours of primerica.
2007, I became an RVP after 10,000 hours.
In this business, most of you start Primerica in three months.
You want to become an rbp.
That really doesn’t work because you need to put the effort, the time, you need to learn, you need to receive char.
You need to have people leaving your business, coming to your business, living your business, coming to.
You need to learn all of the things.
After becoming an RBP that year, I make 150,000.
This is 2007.
Okay? If you are full time and you work the whole really 12 hours a day during six days for 52 hours, it’s going to take you two years and six months.
If you want to do faster, put in another day or more hours.
And really you’re going to learn this quick.
That’s why in our hierarchy we have people making a lot of money in short period of time.
Because they put more effort.
At the end, it’s more time, you put more effort, more appointments, you learn more.
Okay? As a part time, if you are part time here, it’s going to take you around eight years to become in this business, okay? That’s why you need to think about K as a full time.
Because when you became a full time, you’re going to take this faster as a part time.
You know, I start full time.
I don’t know how to work part time.
I leave my job and start right away full time.
Why? Because I believe in this business.
I believe in the industry, in the financial industry.
I believe in me.
The most important thing is believe in you.
If you put that effort where you weren’t right now, you put your effort in somebody else’s dreams, you know, for $12, $50, $20, whatever.
Why you don’t put the same time, the same effort to something for you or your family? Right now, my daughters and my grandkids, they have amazing inheritance.
But my daughters talking all the time, they’re going to be rich when we die.
But we are young, we are 50, maybe we want to live until 100.
They say, no, we need to make money right now.
Because if we wait until you die, it’s going to be like 80 years old or something.
Like that.
That’s why they decide to do the business and work hard.
Okay, how to make 50,000 a year? It’s so easy to make 50,000 a year in Primerica.
I did it part time, okay? You can do part time or full time.
It’s so simple.
A policy.
Normally the people pay $83 per month, right? In a year, it’s a thousand, okay? If you are a regional leader, you make 70% of that commission.
That’s 700.
If you want to make 50,000, you divide 50,000 by 772 policies per year.
72 policy per year, divide 12.
You need to do six transactions per month.
Six policy per month.
That means like almost one and a half per week or something like that.
And you only saw.
Imagine that Primerica pay a lot.
When I saw the compensation, I closed a transaction for $83.
And the company is going to pay me at that moment, as a district, $500.
That’s crazy money.
You know, if you sell a car, Normally you get five.
And a car cost 20,000, 30,000.
The person made, I don’t know, $500, something like that.
And you $83 and you make 500.
It’s simple.
I always look, I only close transaction because it’s so simple.
It’s like I only sell policies to people who care or their families.
Okay? And I told the client, I said, okay.
The life insurance is so important.
It’s for the people who really care about their family.
Okay? You care about your family? Yes.
Okay, listen.
For $83, you’re gonna have 500,000 in protection.
It’s cheap.
It’s like you pay your phone.

But that the way I close is so simple.

You only sell $6,800.

It’s crazy how much money we made in the business we make this month.

And which company gonna pay me 8 million? You know, it’s no other company in the world.
But then we are in Primerica, okay? Hard work.
You want to make big here, you need to work hard.
That is not like a shortcut.

And when I read the first time I read these books 10, 20 times already because it’s short and a big letters.

When I read the book first at the first time, I don’t understand anything.
And I don’t believe that work.

Right now I read in the last trip and everything said there applied to my business.
It’s like a wow.
We did this.
You know, it’s amazing.
This simple book give you all the secrets about this business.
One of the secrets is developing a building mentality.
Okay.
The super hierarchy builder has a clear mental picture of being the leader of thousands.
You know the good thing about to pass through here to get recognition when I did that when I just started in the Omar school is looking like.
And I feel like, oh well this is going to be my hierarchy when I only had one people sitting there.
But you start dreaming a dream big when you pass here the next time just have a time look there, don’t look the recognition.
You have time to do that.
Look what is there.
And I feel okay.
Someday I gonna have super hierarchy prepares a plan to reach goal as present in the sea Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill.
That’s amazing book that the first book I read when I started Primerica.
You need to have a plan.
Determine how many prospect interview recruits, policy pickup FNA leaders and RBP it will take to get to that goal.
Determine how much energy at time it will take and what thing you may eliminate or sacrifice.
Okay, I remember.
I know I never see as a sacrifice because it depends how you see the things.
For example, when I be in the field.
When I get to the home, Marianne is sleeping and Carolina when I get up, I leave.
They are sleeping too.
I only be during the Sundays within have a family time.
But the rest of the time I’m out.
For most of people that’s a sacrifice.
For me that’s.
She don’t remember because she was young.
But now I can spend the time all the time I want with her.
Why? Because I sacrifice that quality time.
Because the quality time is dependent.
Now I have the best quality time with my family before maybe in the building process.
Okay.
You need to do sacrifices.
No sacrifice.
You need to leave something to get the other things.
Okay.
Set daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and multi year deadline for accomplish develop a business plan to recruit, train and develop new people.
Make enough personal sales a train sales and always personal recruit a key in the spirit balance.
This ensures sufficient cash flow while development key leaders.
And you know for me the most important thing is was making money if you are making money for sure you’re going to develop other people.
But most people start thinking about develop people, not make money.
You know, at the end doesn’t work.
Why? Because you’re going to have a lot of stress in your home.
You’re going to have a lot of stress in your life.
And your people never see you as a leader, but you’ve made money.
The people say, okay, I want to do because doesn’t matter.
You have a kid as an upline.
The people is looking.
You don’t look in the upline up blind because they don’t.
They don’t believe you can make 5 million a year.
Okay, how do you live with 5 million? I think in a lot of time to say that someday.
But you know, I remember one training kitel did to us and he say I work hard until May 500,000 in the field because I don’t want to miss the opportunity.
I’m scared of what happened if I don’t work.
I did that until a million.
I work hard until I be in appointments all the time until get a million because you know, I don’t want the field to like maybe lose the business or maybe lose the opportunity or don’t have enough money to cover our family life.
But you know, during all this year because you know, I remember when we started and we look Kid and Danielle we said, oh my God, that is real life.
And be friends now is like amazing.
It’s like an honor because someday you’re going to be a friend of your heroes.
And now we, you know, I friend I am a good friend with Ectol Amar with Kid and Otto and Omar and Danielle.
And I don’t look to have more coaches because I look then as a coach.
I don’t look then as a friend.
It’s as a coach for us that the three people that we.
I just talked with Keith and we are thinking because we do one, two schools.
So two meetings, big meetings for the.
And we think okay, who want to invite to our meeting? Really we don’t have.
Thank God we have now $5 million earner.
Miguel became $4 million now.
Now thank God we have in our archive because we have the same language.
Not because there’s no good leaders in Primerica because of the language.
Because you can do this business different ways.
But when we.
When Kid talk or Omar talk or Echo talk, it’s like the same message for the hierarchy.
And I don’t want to have like 20, 30 different messages for the hierarchy.
Okay, chapter 11.
This is building Principle the speed of the leader.
Determine the speed of the team.
Do it first.
As a leader, you need to be faster than them.
Normally they your team gonna do half or what you are doing well and 200 what you’re doing bad.
People lead by example.
People won’t follow you just because you talk good game.
Do it first.
Sell this a business on momentum.
When you have a momentum, you must get all you can get.
Develop a sense of urgency and never let up.
Whether conditions are good or bad.
Okay? Doesn’t matter what happened in your life.
Nobody care about it.
Really.
You need to go work for what you want.

That’s license, license to this in the first 30 days.
Have a balance.
Business, okay.
Is not the title, is the business.
You are growing in our hierarchy.
We never talk about RBP, promotion, MVP promotion, entity promotion, SN80, promotion, whatever.

I make a million dollar as a NSD.
Miguel is making $4 million as a NSD.
And in Primerica, SND senior national sales director making 200 a year.
That’s because the title doesn’t mean anything.
Okay? What does? What means? The business you are growing, okay.
Became competent and developed a competent leader.
You need to know your business.
You need to know the product.
I know everything about the business.
Any of our leader came to us to ask questions.
We have the answer or we know how to find the answer.
Okay.
100 calls and balance business give you to 250,000.
That was our case.
Omar told us when you have 100 codes, you’re going to make 250,000.
And when we get to 100 codes, we make 250,000.
He told us when you have a thousand codes, you’re going to make a million dollars.
And that happened to us.
When we have a thousand call, we make a million dollars.
Leave it under your means.
We always live under our means.
We save a lot.
We save the whole bonus.
Normally the people say okay, I saved 10%, 20%.
We never do that.
We just as RBP, you get a bonus.
The whole bonus.
We invested.
Why? Because we want to see our checking account empty.
Because that give you the urgency to continue working.

Because for example, when you get 500, let’s say 10,000 or 20,000 in bonus, normally you cover everything and you relax.
But you don’t have that money in your account.
You say okay, I need to work to pay all my bills.
Be a cash millionaire.
We being, we became cash millionaire making 300,000.
We have a million dollar safe in 2000 2012.
And at that moment we are making 300,000.
Why? Because the goal.
I always think if something happened with Primerica because we don’t know and happened because we became poly.
But at that moment before became police.
There’s a lot of things can happen.
And I guarantee the future for my life.
And my purpose all my life is to take advantage of primarily America.
Take all the money that I can have.
Because they are giving us a lot and lead from the front.
This is the Omar bully proof concept.
You need to have 1100 codes, make over a million in override and have $10 million safe and no debts.
That happened for us in 2020.
Then Aranjo fundamentals.
What are the Naranjo fundamentals? Oropesa fundamentals.
Simple use the Primerica resources.
We never do anything out of Primerica.
We use all the Primerica recruit with the only purpose of get people license.
Do it 3 by 3 in 30 days.
3500 in the first month with a license and became division.
Become division in the first two months.
That’s.
That’s simple.
After that do whatever you want.
But that is our fundamentals.
And lead for the front.
For me is doing minimum three to four appointments daily.
Daily means Saturday and Sundays.
Okay, three to four person are recruit per month.
One to two direct people license per month.
10,000 in personal premium and 200,000 investments.
In our hierarchy because most of the people don’t have the security license.
The personal premium is to 20,000.
Okay, that happened in our hierarchy because of the language barrier with a security license.
But that’s what I did before.
Normally this is your plan.
But the reality is that look the other way, you know? Yeah, because you say okay, that my plan.
That’s why is for us a leader you gonna survive in this business after the first year.
Normally we start looking the people they really the leader when they already pass a year.
Because we have a lot of.
What is it? Cometa, flash, rock, whatever.
Okay, It’s a lot of good people start the business.
But normally they don’t survive for long.
Because it’s easy to start something.
But maintain that means more difficult part.
And you need to pass a lot of things.
But the most important thing now is the goal is the process.
What you learn in the process to get there.
And for us the most important thing is the code.
License is our DNA in our hierarchy for the last 13 years, our focus on life license has been the loudest measures we have sent to our hierarchy.
We only talk about license in our hierarchy or any primerica trip or anything, anywhere.
Why? Because that’s our focus, that’s our belief, and that’s why we are here right now.
Because of the license.
Okay? Our goal is to have 12,000 people licensed through first.
Right now we have almost 6,000.
Imagine when we have 12,000 through first.
I cannot imagine, but it could be big.
Okay? Focus means follow one course until succinct.
And this is our growing licensing.
Okay, Everybody start.
When I became.
When we became an RBP, we have 17 people licensed.
Only we left 50 license as a repayment.
But we made money with.
Really to make money, you don’t need to have people in this business.
The good thing, the good news is you can make a lot of money without team, but you want to make millions, you need a pin.
And I start making money by myself.
And took me a year or two years to understand we need to train, recruit, develop people.
Because the frustration that I have when I start Primerica, because I am the person very disciplined, if I say I gonna do something, I do it.
It’s like that me.
And I believe everybody do the same thing.
And the third year I recruit 100 people and one people get licensed.
And I say how that happened? That’s my frustration.
Because you give me $99 and you told me you want to get license.
I believe you want to do that.
You know, I did that.
I started.
I go to the class and pass the test.
And after you have the license, you’re going to use the license, right? That my frustration.
But why the people don’t do whatever they say they’re going to do.
But after the first year, I decide not to become psychologists to try to understand what the people think.
I decide to work.
And I learned the best word in English I can learn was next.
And because of that word, I have this business because I understand this is a voluntary business.
You do whatever you want, when you want it.
My only, my job is to find the people who want to do the things, not try to.
To encourage you to do the things.
I do this thing because I want a better life for me and my family, not because somebody tell me what I need to do.
I do because I learned.
And you are here because you are thinking in you, because you want to grow.
You travel to here, to me, to the mirror, Nowhere really.
I don’t know where I am right now, but a driver pick up in Manhattan.
I know Manhattan very well.
The rest to the east side.
I don’t know anything.
And I believe it’s a good place.
But I don’t know, but you decide to come here to grow.
And that’s so important that the first step to be successful is to want to grow.
Because you invite a lot of people and they decide to stay home because it’s more comfortable, most comfortable to stay home and doing nothing than be here early, sit down in the economy class back there.
But you are here and that’s the most important thing.
And right now we have 10,000 license.
We make $8 million.
This in the next two, three weeks we’re gonna pass $8 million.
But because we have more license.
You know, everybody asks me when you’re going to pass 1 million per month.
When I have more license, I believe when I have 12,000, 13,000 license.
Because I know if I want to make more money, I need to have more people license.
This is our growth in the business.
We are number one to make six million, number one to make seven million, number one to make million.
And to finish.
