Man, listen.
All right, before we get in our talk, our beautiful better half is going to kick us off.
Give it up for Ms.
Julia Boone.
Good afternoon.
How are you guys doing today? Everybody excited? Definitely.
Before we get started, we want to thank our team.
Team of destiny, right? Excited for what everybody has going on.
But we want to shout out a special young lady.
You know, she’s only been in this country for two years, couple of months, like I think it’s only two months in the business.
Got licensed and English is her second language.
Flew in from California to be here with us today.
Let’s give it up to Kiara Carveiro.
Right? That’s awesome.
But I’m going to get right into it, developing forms of courage.
Okay? So courage is contagious, right? Every time we choose, we make everyone around us a little better and the world is a little braver, right? And would you guys agree we need some courage today.
And you know, as Mike mentioned earlier, everybody’s saying the same thing, so that’s always a good thing because then, you know, you’re in the right mindset and going in the right direction.
But how do we develop courage? Right? The first thing is we gotta go back to dreaming big.
You know, we always talk about in the meetings, we talked to our teammates about this is a billion dollar opportunity.
And then hearing Willie talk about it today in the RVP meeting, you know, it goes to show us what this is about.
Everybody here is a little bit more serious, right? This is the morning meeting on a Friday.
So you’re taking your business a little bit more serious.
But if your goal is only to make three to $5,000, who’s fitting into your dream? Right? You know, that’s why maybe we’re frustrated right now that we don’t have teachers because our goal isn’t big enough.
So you gotta ask yourself, what’s your ccmp, right? Your clear, concise mental picture to make that happen.
And it has to be so ridiculous that other people could fit into it, right? So that’s where we gotta go out there and make a commitment.
You know, have you planted your flag here or are you still double dutching with this Primerica thing? Right? So, you know, when we first saw this business, we knew that this is it.
There was no other options.
We just had to grow into the person that it requires to be right.
You know, because what is, if you really think about it, what is the regional vice president? It’s just someone who develops district leaders.
Right? It’s not rocket science, but we just complicate it because we are in a people business, right? So we got to move out of our comfort zone.
We’re all in different levels of comfort.
You know, some of us is our job, our paycheck.
Some of us, you know, it’s not recruiting enough.
Some of us is half a million, like he said earlier, half a million dollars a year.
We gotta get there, right? But we have to remain 99% in the basically work zone, which is the creative zone, which is the work part of this business, right? The what they say pick up the phone and work.
And that 1% is the dreaming.
So how often do you stay in the work zone, in the creative zone, right? And of course, you gotta take a stand.
You gotta make sure you have your hit list right? You know, put those people, like Blake said earlier, you know, put those people on the back burner and just keep moving forward.
And you got to take a stand.
You can’t keep allowing other people to make fun of your opportunity.
So.
And that’s where we have to step out of faith.
You know, whatever you believe in, you got to practice that, right? It took us a lot to get where we are, right? Shy everything, all the books we’ve read to get here, but now to get to another level.
And I was so excited when Willie said his goal is to be a billionaire, right? Because that painted a picture, okay? When he was breaking down the numbers, that really painted a picture because that’s something we would love to create, but you have to be a certain type of person to make that happen.
So I’m going to pass it along to my awesome partner, Mervyn Boone.
All right, Julia Boone, y’all.
Julia Boone.
How many of you in here was invited because you thought were going to talk about life insurance, mutual funds, annuities, car insurance, mortgages? Maybe you was invited that way.
You was conned that way.
All right, we ain’t going to be talking about that.
Right? Okay.
You ain’t going to get that from there.
Right? Okay.
But the green button, the big green button, Right? Got it, Jack.
Okay, I’m going to bring up all of these.
My part in our talk is going over this stuff.
I’m going to cover the things that maybe the world doesn’t tell you, social media doesn’t tell you, okay? Things called obstacles.
And we are going to have those obstacles no matter where you’re at, okay? Because sometimes when we take a look at this deal, we like, man, this thing is work, okay? But if you look at life is work.
And our parents covered us enough that when we became an adult, it was like, damn, I got to pay some bills.
Okay? Yeah, you definitely got to pay some bills, right? Okay.
So with this deal, you got to understand you’re going to take some risk.
Life is about risk.
Especially if you want to get big.
Does anybody here want to get big? Okay.
So you got to be willing to take those risks and understand you got to fail forward, okay? Everything’s not going to go right.
I failed every exam in Primerica.
Especially with a 69.
You become what you think.
Right? Okay.
Like literally right? Okay.
But you got to fail for it.
And you got to face those fears.
You got to overcome this deal.
There’s a lot of thing about this opportunity that I don’t like.
But again, if we want to become successful and we want to become wealthy, we got to go out there and overcome it.
But here’s the thing, y’all.
If we always facing our fears, our backs are towards our goals.
So we got to be face and focused on where we’re heading, okay? And we can’t be afraid to make mistakes.
We can’t be afraid to make those mistakes.
And then when we do make those mistakes, we gotta communicate it.
We gotta have a checkup from the neck up, okay? We gotta do that autopsy, right? Pass negatives up, positives down, and also the sidelines.
And you gotta practice a zero based thinking.
Okay? What are some things you can adjust? All right? You know, one of the things is, you know, listen, we’re reloading right now in the base.
We’re out there and you know, somebody just talked about, okay, it was John Pacone.
We’re out prospecting out in Connecticut.
We’re doing events, we’re doing networking events.
And it’s a little bit uncomfortable.
It’s been a bit.
But I know we gonna pop from that, right? Okay.
So we’re gonna make that happen.
Damn, I forgot what I was gonna say.
Right? Okay.
I’m excited.
Right? But you, but you just gotta step out.
You gotta get uncomfortable.
Okay, next one.
Here we go.
So you gotta accept complete responsibility for your.
Oh, this is what I was gonna say, man, if.
What an adjustment we could have made.
And I think all the leaders would agree.
I was like, man, we should have gotten wider earlier on.
Okay.
Because if we would have more directs, we’ll probably be at 5, 600,000 right now.
Maybe even at a million.
You never know.
And you’re going to hear from Willie in a second.
I remember meeting Willie.
I don’t know if you remember this.
I was a regional leader At a due diligence meeting, okay? He was there chilling out, eating, okay? Nobody was speaking to him.
But now, number one income, earning Primerica, right? So we gotta just go out there and things could change if we’re willing to get uncomfortable, okay? So we gotta be patient with the process.
We gotta be patient.
Principle number seven is patience is the big play.
But number eight says we what? We gotta get started now.
How many want to win now, man? Like I said, how many you want to win now? Nobody wants to win now, okay? So we gotta get started now.
We gotta be that weekly goal setter, go hitter, okay? We gotta persist.
We gotta get after it.
And what’s gonna happen is we have so many examples from the front table, the guest speakers on what it could look like if we step out on faith, we get to work and we give it all in this thing called Primerica, because this thing is a vehicle.
And I’m so grateful, man.
You don’t know where I come from, man.
I was making 38,000 a year before Primerica.
What a degree.
Zulia was a cum laude.
I was, thank you, lady.
Okay? I copied off of everybody, right? But somebody invited me to a meeting, and I just kept coming, kept coming.
And now this opportunity.
Last month paid us over 25,000amonth.
We’re going to be heading towards 25,000 a week.
And the same thing can happen for you.
Shout out to our RVP team.
Jasmine Warner, Shannon Chris Lee, Andrew Clark.
