How’s everybody doing today? Wow, what a beautiful crowd.
Are you guys fired up or what? What an incredible event.
I want to thank Viviana and Henry.
Congrats to them clicking over $700,000 income.
Shout out to all the speakers.
Speakers.
And everyone who’s getting recognition.
My name is Vivian Diaz.
I’m a regional vice president out of the Cornega hierarchy out in California.
And like Henry said, before Primerica, I worked at 24 hours fitness.
I wasn’t a trainer, otherwise I would look better.
But I was actually an assistant manager at 24 hours fitness before coming into primerica.
I started primerica when I was only 23 years old.
Back in 2014, I went to an op night.
My friend invited me.
Never told me what it was.
He just said, hey, do you want to learn about business and you want to make extra money? Who doesn’t? And you know what? I’m so glad that he didn’t tell me what it was, because I had no idea what I was going to be stepping into.
I went to this op night.
I saw the big primerica sign, and I was like, primerica? Like, what? Is this what my friend is doing? And the reason why I had already heard about Primerica, guys, is because my mom and my dad were already life insurance clients.
So growing up, I had heard about Primerica, but I would have never imagined that I would be coming into a company like this.
Okay? It took me four months to go district leader, four months to get licensed.
So if you’re brand new and you’ve already failed your exam, or you’re brand new and you’ve missed your district leader promotion, do not feel bad.
Your time is coming.
Okay? I got promoted to RVP in 2017.
And in 2017, and after about ten months later, I got my 100K ring, produced my 1st 100K earners in 2020, got my second diamond in 2020 as well, and then got ownership in 2021.
Listen, you guys, the reason why I came into Primerica was because I was so sick and tired of my job.
I was so tired of doing the same thing over and not living in my purpose.
Does anybody feel.
Does anybody else have felt like that before? Where you’re just living, you’re just existing, but you’re not happy.
And that was me.
I was, like, just working to make money.
And guess what, you guys, 85% of people work a job just to pay bills.
But see, I was unhappy.
I was like, I need to do something with my life.
And see you guys, I had always had a dream of being my own boss.
I wanted to take control of my own schedule, my own life.
And, see, at a job, what you have to understand is that your income is always limited, which means your lifestyle is limited.
See, my job used to pay me $20,000 a year.
So what kind of car do you think I drove? Where do you think I lived? I lived with my parents.
See, so your income decides how your lifestyle is.
But a business like Primerica, where your income is unlimited, which means your lifestyle can be unlimited.
But why did I.
Why did I stick with primerica? And you hear this all the time.
You have to have a big why, okay? You have to have a big reason why you’re doing this business.
Well, my.
Why was my parents.
See, my.
Oh, I’m over here clicking this and you’re not my.
Why was my parents.
See, my dad became disabled when I was 15 years old.
And my mom became his caretaker.
And so I realized that their life was very limited.
My dad could no longer be the breadwinner of the family.
So I went on and said, you know what? I need to be the go to person to my family.
Which means you have to be the go to person to your family.
Whatever your reason is that you joined Primerica.
Whether it’s just to make money, whether it was to take care of your kids or your family, you have to have a reason why? Because things get tough, okay? And in life, things get tough.
But in primerica, things get even tougher.
You get challenged.
And if you don’t have a big reason as to why you’re doing this business, that’s why you quit.
That’s why you notice that when you recruit somebody and they tell you, oh, man, I want to win big.
I want to do this.
I want to do that.
And then as soon as guess what? Adversity hits, they get rejected.
They say, oh, this is not for me.
Because you didn’t dig down deep inside to find out their why.
So while I was getting rejected, while I was getting chargebacks, while people were quitting, while I was showing up zero by zero, I kept telling myself, man, is this it? And I had to remind myself, but, Vivian, if you quit, who’s going to take care of your parents if you quit? You know, what about that big reason? So I had to remember why I was doing this business, okay? One big key nugget is that I believed before I had anything.
And see, most of you guys will not go to work, or you will not sell out 100% until you have the proof you want to make the money right away.
But see, I already believed I was going to be big.
See, in my first year, what? You’ll notice that I only made $1,500, my first month license.
But look at my first year, I only made $8,000.
How many of you guys would quit if you guys only made $8,000 in a year full time? Don’t raise your hand.
This is why you have to continue to believe and you have to continue to grow, because I.
All I had to do was change my mindset.
Stop, stop, you know, being lazy and get over my feelings.
And when I did that, everything changed.
My income went from 8000 to 40,000 to 77,000 to 100,000, went back to 74.
Then during the pandemic, all the way back up and 250,000, you guys.
So your time is coming as long as you do not quit.
And now, if you look now, my first year, what? I only made $8,000.
But look at my 1099 for 2023, over 350,000.
You guys, how incredible is our company? See, they paid a latina woman like me in the course of nine years, over $1.5 million.
Do you guys understand the opportunity you guys have in your hands? See, why do I.
Why.
What helped me out in the business is the accountability.
You guys have great leaders here with you that are willing to hold you accountable, but you have to allow yourself to be held accountable.
See, being coachable doesn’t mean that you’re always going to agree with your leaders, okay? But you just have to run the play.
See, the person that challenges you and holds you accountable loves you more than the person that watches you stay the same and settle for mediocrity.
See, I don’t know about you guys, but when my coach says, hey, you know what? Keep running.
Keep running.
I just followed the play because he’s a multi millionaire.
Shame on me if I don’t listen to this man.
This man helped me through my toughest time.
He helped me when I, you know, when I.
When I went through my separation of partnership, he told me to keep going.
He told me, Vivian, there’s many women that don’t make it in this business because they make emotional decisions.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t have emotions, but don’t make decisions on temporary feelings.
And he kept coaching me and coaching me, and because of that tough coaching you guys, he brought the best out of me.
I also have to give it up to my team because realistically, you do not make it in this business by yourself.
Stop trying to become so skillful and do all these things.
You need to have a team.
See, what I learned is this business is fun when you have people that you’re working with.
This business becomes fun when you’re pouring into people, when you’re changing lives.
So make sure that you go after and build the biggest team that you could ever have.
See, you’re going, I love this quote.
It says, you’re going to suffer from either one, the pain of discipline or the pain of regretimiento la.
That’s how you say it, right? Which one are you going to do? See, I would rather work the late nights, early mornings, no days off, because it’s just temporary.
To then live a life of freedom than to say, ten years later, man, I shouldn’t have quit.
Why didn’t I go harder? Why didn’t I do this? Don’t be that person.
What happens when you suffer the pain of discipline? Que pasa? Well, you’ll be able to go on company trips.
You’ll be able to spend more time with your family.
You’ll get to speak as number one in the company trips.
This is amazing.
So this is my mom.
We were at, I think that’s Dominican Republic.
My mom and my dad and my sister.
Our last trip to Bahamas in 2020.
That was actually right before my mom was diagnosed with cancer.
Life does happen, you guys, because, again, we came back from the company trip at the Bahamas, and me and my mom were both sick.
She stayed sick a little bit longer.
And come to find out, my mom was actually diagnosed with stage four cancer.
See, you guys think that you may have a lot of time, but your time is very limited.
That’s why you can’t waste no time.
See, I didn’t know that all those times where I felt like quitting, and I just kept overcoming that.
God was preparing me.
He’s saying, got to get up, you got to go harder, you got to go faster, because you.
You don’t know.
You don’t know when that day is going to come.
And see, when my mom was diagnosed with cancer, I didn’t even know how to receive that news, because I did tell you guys what was my.
Why.
Well, within those six months that I had my mom during COVID I had my little office in that same house, I told my sister, quit your job, you take care of mom and my dad, and I’ll make sure I’ll deliver and take care of you.
That is the promise that I gave to them.
And in those six months, why do you think I went from 74,000 to 250, 74,000 in less than six months.
Because I had the drive.
I had to keep going.
My mom passes away in August of 2020.
You guys.
I did let you guys know.
My mom was a primerica client.
She wasn’t my client, but I’m so grateful that somebody booked a training appointment, a KT, with my mom and my dad, and that they spread the word out, because had that not happened, my parents were not insurable when I got involved.
So you don’t ever be embarrassed to talk to your family and say, oh, well, they already have life insurance.
If they don’t have primerica, they don’t have life insurance.
Because this amazing company.
This amazing company.
When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, the terminal illness rider activated, and she was able to get some of her money upfront.
Not that she needed it, but she ended up passing away four months later.
And Primerica delivered that death claim to my father.
And with that money, were able to reinvest for her grandchildren.
Because I am the youngest of all my sisters, I was 28 when she passed.
Did she have a huge need for it at her age when she passed? Probably not.
But she knew the importance of it.
And I could have ended up with any other company.
Can you imagine that? Php or WFG? Imagine that.
They probably would have never paid out.
But thank God that God led me to this incredible business opportunity that now I knew I was an advocate for Primerica, but when I tell you, when this happened to me, I was like, man, I gotta go talk to more people.
People need to hear my story, see things get tough.
You think your life is hard.
I’m telling you, there’s somebody next to you that’s going through something harder.
So everyone goes through things, everyone goes through pain.
But you better go get a reward for it.
See through challenges.
And after.
After going.
After producing my first RVP, I get hit with another challenge.
I was already dealing with autoimmune conditions, but then I get told that I need to have emergency surgery because I had two tumors on my parotid glands.
So I had surgery on March 1.
That is month end, you guys.
March the first of 2023.
And you know what? Thank God that I built a business.
Thank God that I built with the right mentality.
Thank God that I didn’t take no shortcuts.
Thank God that I kept pouring into my people.
Because guess what, you guys? When I went through my surgery, I was able to actually take time and take care of myself.
I didn’t have to have the stress of, oh, I got to go write a sale.
Like, right? You know that feeling.
That feeling where you have to go write a sale? No.
Because I built a business that created passive income.
I was able to still make a little over 39,000.
And I don’t know how many sales I had made that month.
But that’s the whole point of building a business, right? So you guys are building with the right intentions.
See, what you don’t deal with will eventually deal with you.
You gotta have the mentality, you know, of a bull versus.
I mean, the buffalo versus a cow.
See, in the storm, we all go through storms.
Life gets hard.
But in the storm, buffaloes run towards the storm.
They run into the adversity.
Cause they know that storm’s gonna get to me anyways.
Might as well get it over with.
Versus the cows.
The cows always try to run away from the storm, knowing the storm is going to come get them anyways.
And they’re going to hit.
They’re going to get hit twice as much.
So deal with your issues now.
Deal with the adversity now.
Don’t run from it.
Don’t put a band aid on it.
Deal with it now.
Because ultimately, that’s what you need to grow.
That’s what you need to become the leader that you need to be.
See, when I was driving to KT’s, guess what? I was driving in a ghetto little car with blue painters tape on it.
And I would pull up to kt’s, and I would have to.
I would have to park my car down the street because I was so embarrassed.
I would drive.
I would park other places out of Starbucks because people would see me.
And people would be at.
Other primericans would be at this.
At the Starbucks, and they’d be like, hi, Vivian.
I’d be like, hi.
And they would see me right there patching up my little bumper.
And it was so embarrassing.
But I’m like, man, this is temporary.
I can’t wait.
And today I drive over $100,000 car, my dream car.
And so all of that has been worth it.
The biggest thing is your why will change over time.
I told you that I was doing this for my parents.
And I absolutely was able to accomplish so much while my mom was still alive.
But as you start to complete things, you need to start.
Start saying, what’s my next why? And my next why was I want to impact and change someone else’s life.
This couple here is actually my first couple that I promoted to regional vice president.
Actually, this month is their first year anniversary.
They’re about to actually click over 200,000 income.
They’re only $20,000 away.
Can you believe, because I didn’t give up, because I wasn’t scared to follow up, that this couple has an opportunity of a lifetime, that their entire family is in the business.
Imagine if I wouldn’t have followed up.
Imagine if I would have gave up when my friend Andres told me no.
It took me eight months to recruit him.
See, your best recruit probably isn’t here yet, but you’re probably gonna quit after the first no.
And you gotta keep going, you guys, because look at what happens.
You all have a story.
You’re writing your story right now.
What does it look like? It may not be pretty.
The grind isn’t pretty.
It’s not supposed to be.
But guess what? What happens on the other side? You get ownership.
Right? You get featured on USA Today, Primerica’s incredible company, featured in USA Today.
And me, out of all people, just a high school person that dropped out of college, that worked at a gym.
Me? Yes.
Vivian.
Why not you? Because you took Primerica and you turned it.
You made your testimony real.
See, that can be.
You don’t look at me like, wow, that’s Vivian.
Anybody can come to this stage.
Anybody can get to number one.
But listen, you guys, that’s why you have to go and create the life that you want.
It’s not going to come easy.
Easy.
But it’s definitely gonna be worth it, you guys, I can’t even tell you how amazing my life is.
And it’s nowhere close to where I want it to be.
I’m nowhere near Henry, Viviana, or even group re man the life they have.
But at least I have leaders and giants in front of me that I can see.
And I’m like, I’m next.
Like, I have that same.
You have that same opportunity, you guys.
And I’ll leave you guys with this.
Imagine what your life would be like if you weren’t afraid to fail.
Y mahina n se como la vida serilla si no tendril de fayad what would your life be like? What would you do? You could do so much.
See, failing is a part of the process.
Failing is a part of the equation.
You have to go do it.
You gotta go get it done.
Because guess what? That failure is really just lessons that you’re learning along the way.
And one day, those failures that you learn from, you will be teaching them to your downlines.
And see, that’s exactly what I do.
I’m not afraid to go through the challenges because I know God is getting ready to prepare me for my next level.
He’s preparing me to get into position for that SNSD contract.
He’s getting me to prepare to become a future million dollar earner.
So what do you need to do to become the next hundred k earner? The next $300,000 earner? Don’t shy away from the challenges.
Accept the challenges.
So I challenge you guys.
Take that challenge, go after number one, and I will see you guys at convention, because that’s where it’s at.
You guys love.
