Let’s go.
Let’s go, guys.
So just a couple of things, right? Guys, were blessed to speak thank you to Keith, Auto, and Wilma and everybody in a planning group.
But in terms of building our teams, we’re really big.
Number one in attendance, right? I think a lot of times, if we’re trying to build a team and we’re trying to be great or we’re trying to go to the next level, we really got to focus on attendance.
And what happens with attendance is I think Whitney was talking about it.
There’s a difference between zoom attendance and in person attendance.
True? Not true.
Right.
Zoom, obviously, you know, you want to build your zoom people, but also, definitely, you want to make sure that your attendance in the room is what really counts, and you want to make sure you focus on that, right? So our topic is building leaders.
And I think with leaders, one of the first things you got to do is you got to be excited in the morning.
Anybody excited in the morning, right? It’s funny because Whitney was also talking about it.
Chris Sachon tells us, hey, you can’t sleep after .
A.m.
No million dollar earner sleeps after .
A.m..
So we’re really active in a group, me or whatever it is that you have.
You got to make sure you utilize it, and what happens is your team right? If you’re on a team, let’s say you’re not an RVP yet, you got to be the first one up.
True or not true, right.
You got to be the first one waking up everybody, right? And what happens in the group? You got to do it at least three times a day.
Three times a day.
You got to be where you’re at in the morning.
This is where I’m at in the afternoon.
This is where I’m at in the evening.
This is where I’m at.
Right.
Because you’re trying to go to the next level.
True or not true, right.
See, Primerica is a monkey see, monkey do business, right? So if people see you doing it, they’re going to do it.
But if you just talk about it I think Kitado was talking about it, then it’s not going to work for you.
Right.
Number three is you got to cheerlead the system.
See, whatever system your RVP has, that’s what you got to follow, right? And if you’re an RVP, you got to put a system in place that your team can also follow.
True or not true, right.
So you got to cheerlead the system.
You got to cheerlead the trainings, the team direction.
See, if your team says this month, like, we got to go this month to build to get at least 100 recruits.
If you’re on the base shop, you got to kind of like, you know what? Yeah, our team is going to do 100 recruits.
True or not true, right? So you as a team, player.
You got to do it.
The next thing is right, guys, we talk about do it first.
See, you can’t do it.
If you haven’t done it, your team is not going to do it, true or not true.
So you got to step out and say, you know what? I’m going to get it done.
So what’s doing it? Well, they were talking about it earlier, doing appointments, doing recruiting.
See personal, it starts personal and you guys know what to do, right? But there’s a lot of times that people miss it.
So the next thing is team player.
See, are you a team player if you’re in the hierarchy or if you’re in the team if you’re trying to go to RVP, you got to be a team player.
See, are the chairs filled up, right, or are they straight? Is this the projector good or the zoom straight, right? The chairs is the bathroom clean? Right? No matter what it is, you got to be a team player.
You got to make sure the environment is conducive to growth, right? So who’s the environment? Who controls the environment? You control the environment.
You’re trying to go to RVP, so guess what? You control the environment.
See, you got to be coachable.
See, the longer Keith talked about it, right, the longer we’re here, the less coachable we are.
Or we tend to be less coachable.
But we’re trying to go to the next level.
So guess what? We got to stay plugged in.
We got to stay coachable.
Yeah, we don’t like all the plays, but guess what? We still coachable because we’re trying to go to the next level, right? We all heard of Michael Jordan, right? MJ, he had a coach.
Well, guess what? You got to get a coach too.
So you got to do what? Be coachable.
Not sometimes, not when you want it all the time, right? Because again, your team is watching you, right? See, the next thing is, again, you got to stay plugged in.
And what’s plugged in? Plugged in is being in daily.
Daily plugged in.
Not once in a while, not when you feel good, not when you wake up, no.
Every time, every single day.
You got to be excited.
Yes, sometimes it’s not going to be your day, but guess what? You stay excited.
You stay plugged in.
See, if your team watches you fall, guess what they’re going to do? They’re going to do the same thing.
Oh my upline.
My district upline.
My division upline.
My regional upline.
She’s not in a group.
She’s not texting.
She’s not showing up.
So.
Why should I? So we’re trying to build a business, true or not true, right? Who’s excited? Anybody excited? Right? Come on guys.
You guys not that excited, right? You got to get more excited.
So you got to stay plugged in all the time, right? I know sometimes it’s not good, but you just got to get it done.
Right? Your commitment level has to go up.
See, that’s the next thing.
Your commitment, right? See, sometimes, again, your commitment is wishy washy.
See, I’ll just plugged in on the Zoom, and the worst thing you could do is be on the Zoom without your camera on.
True or not true, right? Get them out of here, right? Sometimes I just take people out because it’s like, you’re supposed to be a leader.
You’re supposed to be committed, right? So you got to stay in.
You got to stay don’t be stubborn.
See, a lot of times, people get stubborn, so you can’t be that person.
The next thing is, right? See, are you a pilot, or are you the passenger? See, this is deep right here, guys.
Are you a pilot or you’re a passenger? Are you just like, oh, yeah, whatever.
No, you are the pilot.
You’re the one that stares kind of like the ship.
You stare the airplane, you stare with the direction of the team, right, guys? See, one person, right? They say one person can change the world, right? See, so one person could change the base shop.
Do you understand that? One person can stand up and say, you know what? I’m the leader.
I’m going to be committed.
I’m not just going to be one of the guys.
Like, who wants to be one of the guys? No, I don’t want to be one of the guys.
I want to stand out.
True or not true, right? So as a leader, as someone who’s in the base, guys, we’re talking about developing leaders, by the way someone talked about it.
We don’t develop leaders.
We find them, right? And that is true.
But let me tell you something.
When I got started here, I was not a leader in primerica.
I was a school teacher.
Do you guys know, as a school teacher, I have an eight or three, right? I clock in, I clock out.
The worst thing was, sometimes I had to clock out, put my time.
I’m like, what am I doing here? Right? See, I wasn’t a leader in primerica.
I came in, I was coachable.
I did some of the things that the leaders are doing, and eventually, I started growing my business.
So guess what you got to do.
You got to do the same thing.
And the next thing is, guys, you got to be reliable.
See, there’s a lot of people, they’re not reliable.
We can’t count on you.
Oh, coach, I’m there.
I’m going to be there.
Okay? We call a Zoom meeting at .
A.m.
But you’re not even on.
Are you reliable? See, we have an OD meeting at 7, but you don’t show up.
Are you reliable, or are you just one of the talkers, right? You got to make sure you’re always reliable.
The next thing is, right, guys, there’s the difference between an excuse and a reason, and you got to kind of internalize that every time you think about texting somebody or on the phone or whatever the case is, or you’re talking to your upline, right? Think about what you’re going to talk about, right? Is it an excuse or is it a reason? Right? You got to make sure you understand that.
See, the next thing is, guys, if there’s a will, there’s a way.
See, if you have the will and you just want to win, I don’t care what it is.
Don’t you come in.
A lot of times people come into the business and they don’t even know what to say, but they do a lot of recruiting or they do a lot of premium, true or not true, right? They come in and just blow up your business, right? So what happens is they’re just a go getter.
So guess what you got to do? You got to come back and say, you know what? I’m going to be a go getter.
There’s a will, right? You have that will inside you, right? See, the next thing is we talk about ups and downs.
This is a big one right here, guys, because emotional, right? Like anybody emotional, like sometimes they just want to cry, right? And then you just fold like a cheap tent.
See, you got to be emotional, and then you got to act on that emotion.
And what does acting mean? Well, you got to put your game face on.
See, no crying in front of people.
Nobody cares about your feelings, true or not true.
We care about what you got done today.
See, at the end of the day, the first of the month is coming.
Where the bills at? Who’s going to pay the bills, right, guys? So we got to stand up.
We got to develop ourselves into a leader in Primerica.
And you’re going to surprise yourself, guys.
I never, ever thought I would be talking in front of people.
See, my family, we’re from Dominican Republic, right? Any DRS? Anybody from Dr.
Right? Ain’t no way.
See, nobody talks about making 1015 $20,000 a month, $50,000 a month, $100,000 a month.
Nobody talks about that.
Everybody hides their paycheck.
Nobody talks about money, right? But at the end of the day, when it’s the first of the month and when there’s a bill, now we talk about money, like, who got it? See, guys, you got to be the hero in your family.
You got to stand out of your family.
You got to make sure you become that what that superstar in your family.
So let’s go get them, guys.
With that being said, let me bring up Keith eyes.
