Hey, how did you guys like this afternoon? Awesome.
I thought everybody did a phenomenal job.
We still have people coming back from eating.
Some of these guys are eating like they got sentenced.
But excited to have you guys here with us tonight.
I thought how’d you guys like Whitney and Rob Cooper? Awesome, right? So what I want to do is, before I turn it over, we got a lot of stuff we’re doing.
We got a bunch of promotions.
We got recognition.
You’re going to hear from some of the leaders that are building and growing, and we got some exciting stuff.
But I want to share for those of you that are new, I know I met a bunch of new people at an event, and I know what happens is the first time you come to an event like this, it’s a little overwhelming.
You see a bunch of happy people, everybody clapping and hugging each other.
It’s exactly like your job is on a Friday afternoon around five or .
And what happens is you come to an event like this, it’s a little weird, right? People are smiling.
And my background is I was a plumber, and I taught a karate school, a taekwondo school, and my wife owned a nail salon in Staten Island.
And what we want to talk about is what you’re seeing is you’re seeing an example of success in all different levels of the business with all the regional vice presidents, right, which are kind of like the brokers in real estate, people that start off part time and then go out there and build a business.
And I always say, in any business you look at, right, there’s got to be a need.
There’s got to be a value.
There’s got to be a void that’s filled.
And so when you first come to an event like this or even a business briefing or you sit across the kitchen table, you start thinking, is what we do for people good? And I say all the time, what we do for people is not good.
What we do for people is great.
And then for people that are brand new, you’re looking around like, there’s got to be a catch, there’s got to be a gotcha.
And we start thinking, is our business credible? Right? And I always say it’s not just credible.
It’s actually incredible when you get a chance to see what we do and the value we provide.
It’s the business where the more money you make, the more people you help, the more money you make.
It’s a win situation.
It’s better than we discuss.
It’s better than we talk about.
And what you’re seeing is you’re seeing walking examples walking, talking examples of successful people that started out at the same position called the beginning.
And then the last thing is you got to think, is what we’re doing is there value is there a need for what we’re doing? And I just want to take 1 minute out before my wife takes over.
Wilma, if you could put that up for me, please.
And you got to look at statistics, right? If you look at the facts, forget about people’s opinion, right? When you look at the facts and we’re an unbelievable country.
We’re a great country, and yet we’ve got all these resources, people go, oh, it’s about knowledge.
Well, you could Google, you could siri whatever that thing was you were doing on the phone tonight, you could chat something into your phone and it could write a story for you.
And s.
I wish I had that when I was in school.
But if you think about all the information, all the technology, everything is right at our access right now.
And yet we still have more people retiring broke.
We still have more people underfunding their retirement plan.
No one’s saving for college.
And so when I think about it, when you look at I always come back to the fundamentals and the facts.
So if you look at that presentation, it says 100 people after age at age 65, 100 people survey from 25 to 65.
And you see what happens in a work a life expectancy.
So you start working at 25, you retire at 65.
54% of people are dependent.
That’s when you’re driving home tomorrow afternoon, one out of two people you see is going to end up dependent on somebody else.
We’re a perfect example.
My mom, I bought an apartment.
We bought an apartment for my mom.
We paid cash, gave her this apartment.
I bought her a car, paid cash, gave her the car.
She’s on our payroll every month.
She gets paid every month.
And she bitches and moans.
That’s not enough.
No, I pay her too much, and she gets paid.
And one condition.
She’s not allowed in our office.
She came to your office one time, and she can come every 30 years.
I told her to the office, right? But my mom, her Social Security is $600 a month.
If we didn’t take care of her financially, if it wasn’t for this company, people go, oh, Keith and Danielle, you guys are good people.
If I was still a plumber and my wife’s allowed a nail salon, my mom would try to live on $600 a month, because that’s all she gets for her Social Security.
But instead, she has no expenses.
We pay for everything.
My in laws, up until we sold our house last week, were living in our guest house.
We got them an apartment, but they were living in our guest house.
They lived in our guest house in Jersey.
They lived in our guest house in Naples, Florida.
We even pay their cell phone bill.
We pay everything.
We gave them a car.
Why? Because they made money.
But they didn’t save money like everybody else.
There is statistic 54% of people are dependent.
The next statistic says 36% are still working.
So picture you get to 65 years old, you work 40 years of your life.
You get to 65, and you’re excited that you could still work.
I’m 58 years old.
I know at 65, I’m still going to be doing this.
Why? Because I enjoy it.
But if I had to do this, I don’t know if I would enjoy it.
I live in Naples, Florida, which is like heaven’s waiting room.
It’s a bunch of old people.
And I see so many people go to Florida to retire.
You can retire tomorrow.
Staying retired is what screws everybody up.
Because after three weeks, four weeks, five months, they run out of money and they start working.
It’s so sad to see people in their seventy s and eighty s that are still working, not because they want to get out, oh, I just do something to keep me busy.
No, you do this because you have to eat, because people don’t save money.
So when you look at the statistic here, it says 36% are still working.
Not because they want to, because they have to.
5% are deceased, also known as dead at 65.
Right.
You don’t want to be in that category.
So really what you think about is 4% are okay.
How many remember when a million dollars was a million dollars? Now you sit down with somebody, go, I’m a millionaire, or you better start saving, then that’s not enough.
A million dollars is a lot of money to have saved if you plan on dying in the next four or five years.
But a million dollars if you retire at 65, it’s not going to take you to 95.
It’s not taking you to the promised land.
And it says 1% will be wealthy, 5 million or more cash flow, 5 million or more cash reserve put aside.
What does that mean? That means if you work from 25 to 65, statistically, in the greatest country on planet Earth, 95% of people are going to be debt or dead broke.
Is there a need for what we do? And so when you think about it, what is the challenge? The biggest challenge that people have is what 95% of people have.
What? Don’t have a game plan? Don’t have a clue or not stupid but ignorant to information.
It blew me away when I first sat through my business brief.
I’m like, there’s no way this is true.
There’s no way that this is fact.
And then I started thinking, man, if half of this is true, I’m in.
And it’s everything they talked about in our business briefing.
What we do for people is ten times better, and then the income potential is ten times better than what we talk about across the kitchen table when we recruit people.
The challenge is no.
People have no financial education.
No financial education.
They might get a great degree in school and end up broke.
But a financial education is priceless, right? The second is they have no financial game plan.
They’ve got no step by step process where we take now if you’ve got tens of millions of dollars, you might have a financial planner, but the average middle income person does not have any game plan, right? We take that Wall Street concept to Main Street.
And the third thing is they have no financial coach.
And what you see in this room are people that have not just became financial coaches, which is what running and operating their own agencies, but have created and developed multiple players.
And you’re going to see that as we’re recognizing people tonight, what I want to talk to you about is for those of you that are new, welcome to the beginning of your opportunity.
And what you go do with this is totally up to you, right? Primerica has more people making 100,000, a half a million dollars more than any other company in this great country.
And when I meet with brand new people, I say, by the way, we did that without you.
With you, we could do better.
And as good as what we’re doing is we still have a small percentage of the market share.
And you’re going to go through trials and tribulations, you’re going to go through that, which you heard some of it today, you’ll hear some tomorrow.
But you’re going to see people tonight getting promoted to regional vice president.
You’re going to see people getting recognized making 50,000, 100,000 over a million dollars of cash flow.
That’s not product, that’s cash in their pocket paid out, right? And so when you look at the opportunity we have, what I challenge you to do is you’re going to be able to relate.
I curse too much.
You might not be able to relate to me.
Maybe you’re going to relate to my wife.
You relate to some of the other regional vice presidents that you’re going to hear from over this weekend.
But my challenge is, what are you going to do with this opportunity? I’m going to turn this over to my wife.
And what we looked at right now, our business, our life, our opportunity looks completely different than it did when we first started.
And so before I introduce her, I just wanted all the regional vice presidents to stand up.
If all the regional vice presidents could stand up.
These are the regional vice presidents from the Empire Builders.
These are all the players that have built a business.
And we got people from all over.
From all over.
Give them a hand.
Great job.
These are the people that are leading you through that process.
Do we have anybody from Pennsylvania in here? Pennsylvania.
All right.
It’s crazy.
We’re in Pennsylvania.
We got 30 people from Pennsylvania.
Do we have anybody from New Jersey in here? All right.
How about Florida? We got anybody from Florida? All right, arizona.
All right.
Connecticut.
Michigan.
We got people from Michigan here.
All right.
Welcome, Detroit.
Do we have anybody from New York in here? All right.
I count seven people from New York.
It’s really cool.
You guys are loud as hell.
I’m going to turn it over to the 8th person from New York, my wife’s, when I met her from Staten Island, New York.
Staten island, which is not part of the United States.
It’s a different country.
But I’m going to turn this over.
My beautiful wife, Danielle Oto.
Let her rip, mama.
Wait.
When you’re ready to go.
Hey, guys.
Oh, hold it closed.
Okay, I just want to say thank you so much to Whitney and Rob for coming and sharing their story with us and just giving our team the best two days that you’re going to hear from them again tomorrow and tonight.
And we appreciate that so much because they have three little kids and it’s not easy.
We know you had to shuffle them around a little bit.
So thank you so much.
We love you guys.
You’re awesome.
Can’t wait for you guys to go to a million.
That’s going to be amazing.
Just want to thank our RVP team, you guys in the first and second rows.
We love you so much.
We would not be here today without you.
I mean, we have grown with you.
We’ve grown our business with you.
We’ve known you for almost all of my adult life since I met Keith.
Well, were just married 26 years ago, so this became a family to us.
And I just want to thank you.
I just want to say we know that it’s not an easy business.
You have to put up with a lot of people, a lot of different personalities along the way.
But we know it’s been worth it for each and every one of you because you stuck it out.
You never gave up.
You never showed hurt or fear or anything.
And we just love you.
We just love you as part of our family.
And I mean that.
I just want to thank Wilma and Raquel and Arlinda.
She’s not here.
And Jason.
Thank you guys for putting this together.
This is not an easy thing to do.
The school takes a couple of months to get it all together, so we just appreciate everything that you do.
So I want to take you back a little bit to the beginning.
For those of you that don’t know me, I met Keith about 30 years ago.
Well, yeah, like 29 years ago.
And we just had our 26th wedding anniversary in June.
On June 1.
Yes.
We have two amazing kids.
Well, they’re not kids anymore, but to me, they’ll always be my kids.
They’re amazing.
They grew up in this business.
Dominique’s going to be 24, and she works in the city.
She lives her life.
She’s got a great little boyfriend over there, hunter.
And I could not be more proud of my kids and just having them around this environment.
Our son Blake, he just turned 21.
He’s in Florence, Italy, right now, studying abroad, and we’re going to leave on Sunday to go see him for a couple of days.
And it’s just the opportunities that our kids have gotten that we never got because weren’t able to do that when were growing, barely.
I had to pay for my own college.
I worked during the day, went to school at night.
Keith never even made it to college.
So just the things that were able to do just because we sacrificed a little bit and we sacrificed a lot.
And so when we look back and people ask me all the time, what was it like while Keith was out in the field every night? And it was hard.
And I know a lot of you partners right now are going through that period, or the husband is home, or the wife is home all day, and then you work a job, and then you come home, and then you have to leave again because you have Primarica appointments at night.
It gets toxic.
It’s hard on a relationship.
But I just want you to know that if you get involved as a spouse, that becomes your business together.
And that was something that I took pride in from the beginning, that I never wanted to feel like Keith did it alone and without me and my support.
So I worked in the office for years.
I took my kids to the office.
Dominique used to sit in her swing.
I mean, I met Glenn when I was pregnant with mean, it just goes on and on.
And so Dominique was in Carlos and Sarah’s wedding.
We just saw a picture of that.
I mean, it’s just crazy how you can start somewhere and finish somewhere else in this know, where you start is never going to be where you end.
That’s up to you.
And that’s how much time and energy and work you put into this into your business, because this is your business.
You are doing this for your family.
So when you come home from a nine to five job and then you have to go out at night and do Primerica to make some extra money, you’re doing it for your family.
Those are the sacrifices that you’re giving up for a short period of time in order to get where you’re out of your job.
You’re doing Primerica full time, and you’re reaping the rewards of what this company has to offer you and your family.
And when you look at it like that and change your perspective and think that, you know what? In five years, I can literally change my family’s financial future forever, when you think of it in those short terms like that, then it becomes worth it.
And I’m telling you could do this in five years.
You can set goals today.
And that’s why I love this company so much, because you could set a goal today and by next month, if it’s realistic, you have to write realistic goals.
You’re not coming on board today and becoming an RVP next month, that’s unrealistic.
And that’s when people quit because they think this doesn’t work.
It does work.
You just have to put the time and energy into it.
So were back to our I got off on that, but back to our 26th anniversary.
So were out to dinner, and were having a really nice dinner, and it was such a nice time, and were having a couple of drinks, and Keith’s a little bit of a weenie if you don’t really know him, he cries a lot.
And ask my kids.
He cries, like when he watches.
What do we watch? Oh, the voice.
Okay.
So he’ll be crying, and I’ll be like, Why are you crying? It’s the voice.
He’s like, I don’t know.
So we’re sitting there.
We’re having a really good time, and where both of us are crying at dinner, and I’m like, Why are we crying? Because we realized that first we had just sold our house.
So that was very emotional for me and him and obviously more him.
And I sat there and I said, I can’t believe where our lives ended up.
Like, 26 years together, married, all the good, all the bad, all the crap in between.
This is how our lives this is the next phase of our life.
And it’s so unbelievable to think that at certain times in our relationship, we couldn’t pay our bills.
We were scrambling, like, how were going to pay our mortgage sometimes.
And I’m not embarrassed to say that to you because this is life.
And if you’re going through that right now and you feel like, wow, I’m underwater.
I don’t know how I’m going to get out of this.
Listen, start recruiting.
Start building your business.
Start not listening to other people tell you that this business doesn’t work, that you can’t do this.
Just believe in yourself just a little bit more than you did yesterday.
Just believe in yourself.
And I’m telling you, that will get you through it.
Start listening to motivational things that motivate you every day, that put pictures up of your children, of your wife, of what you want out of this business.
And I’ll tell you, everything that we ever wanted in our lives came through Primerica.
We made every single dime that we have today because of this great company.
And so we sat there, and I was so grateful.
And that was the whole night, like, how grateful were that, wow, were able to build this amazing house that we loved so much and how grateful were that we got to raise our kids in that house and share it with mostly as many people in this room as we could have.
And Carlos and sarah were the last people to see it to come through.
And I could say that we’ve done that over a hundred times.
Shared our house, shared our life, shared everything with the Primerica team that we have.
And it just made us feel, you know, I felt like we accomplished know, even though it was just a house, but to me it was more than that.
A house is just a house until it’s a home where you raise your kids and you have memories.
And I was able to build that house with no budget.
So if you were ever at my house, you realize that, wow, it was very unique and different.
So I’m going to show you a couple of pictures.
This is our new life.
This is at hunter’s house.
Okay.
His parents have a beautiful house on the beach in naples.
So that was the beginning of our new chapter.
So that’s what we’re calling it, the new beginning of our new life.
So we have no more stress, no more house worries, nothing.
And then we go build another house, which was crazy.
So I just want to show you.
This is how do you play the video? Oh, okay.
So this was the house that we just sold.
Where’s the music? It I can’t even watch it like cry.
There many good times, lots of great Primerica parties.
Everything in the house was custom made that I had picked out and it was actually a dream house.
It really was due how to use that faucet.
This is the life that you can have if you work really hard and you never give up.
You sam, every single one of you can have this.
And I mean that.
I really do.
You just have to work your butt off and never give up.
My son put this on his instagram.
Everybody was sad that’s when our kids were real little and the company came out and took some pictures for us.
I think that was the year we actually moved into that house.
So then we started a new journey and we decided were going to build a lake house on lake norman.
So we’re in North Carolina.
Not sure how much we’re going to actually use the house, but that is just the next chapter.
So in the last seven days we’ve been in Naples and then we flew to north Carolina.
Where else have we been? Then went to new York and on sunday we’re leaving for so is this going to play too? Okay, so this is our new house that we just built, but we’re still going to be in naples.
It’s going to take two years for us to get to our next destination and we’ll show you that in two years from now.
We just built this house.
It took us two years to build.
I don’t think it was completely finished in this little video.
That Keith did.
But that’s the lake right there.
It’s really cool.
Yeah, this isn’t a good well, some of the furniture is missing, but you get the gist of it.
So we get to watch the sunset in our backyard every night.
And then this was Keith leaving our house for the last time, and were all really emotional, crying, and it was just a really where’s the music? Without the music, it’s not the same.
Whatever.
Okay, that’s it.
So that was the last time we left.
Yeah, it was sad.
All right, forget it.
Not the same.
So we got to Lake Norman the other day, and we actually just bought this boat, and we’re just living our lives.
We’re just, like, enjoying every single minute of the next phase.
And so what’s the next phase in your life? What is it? Is it going to be wasted, or are you guys going to go after it? So that’s what you have to ask yourself the next phase in your life.
What do you really want out of this business, and what are you going to do to get it? And it’s totally up to you.
Time goes by so fast, guys.
It just does.
It just goes by in an instant, and before you know it, your kids are grown.
They’re out of the house.
You’re at a different time in your life, but you look back on those times and you think, wow, you know what? I did it for my family.
I was able to give them everything that they ever needed and wanted.
I was able to provide for them.
And this is our apartment in the city.
Just really just go for it.
Just go for it.
Just go for your dreams because they’re realistic here.
Your dreams are for real.
And that’s it.
I think that was the last yeah, that’s it.
So whatever you want, whatever you desire, whatever reason you’re here, go home this weekend after you leave here, and just write it down.
Why are you here? What do you want out of this? Write it down.
And I promise you, if you write it down, you apply yourself.
You can have everything that you want in this life.
So God bless you guys.
Bye.
