Alright guys, my name is Ju Chuanquil, been in the business for I can’t believe it’s, it was like yesterday, it’s almost six years.
And my story guys, I came from Haiti in 2016, right? And a very good friend of mine prospected me since I was in Haiti, she was telling me, Jude, there is a business, if you come here you’re gonna kill it.
I was in Haiti, by the way, and I came and that was one of the reasons that in America, right, I was coming back and forth, but I decided to stay to build a business and a year later I started the business 2000 and 617, right? And hey man, thank you.
Give it up for just Dustin awesome.
And I’ve been in business ever since and I met my beautiful wife.
Give it up for the great Nikki Pietro and quit in the house, right? Every t, every t, every a personality.
Every T personality need an S, would you agree? For those who know, right? They put some structure in your life, they keep you focused, right? For those who know.
So that was my situation, guys.
And I used to make $370 working 40 hours a week at a job for a year.
And when I came into this business, my first check was $520.
That was not a lot of money.
But when you used to make 370 for a week, now you make 520 just 1 hour, would you agree? That’s a lot of money compared to the amount you used to make, right? And hey, the next day I went back to the job with an attitude.
Two months later, I quit.
And here we are today and just a few days ago I can’t believe we cost $250,000 income, man.
So let’s get into it.
Unlacking greatness.
A roadmap to personal and team excellence.
Here’s what I think I’ll learn guys.
Your mindset, times, your skill set, plus the actions you take that’s going to determine that your failure or success, whether your mindset is right, the skill set you acquire, plus the actions you take that’s going to determine the success or failure that you get.
Now I know we’ve been having a lot of trainings on mindset and stuff like that, so we’re not going to focus on the mindset.
This is a very important area, but we’ve been having so much trainings on how to get your mindset right.
Let’s go a little bit on the skill set right now.
Now here’s what I learned.
I was reading the Bible and I found this.
And that was written by one of the wise or the wisest guys that has ever lived.
Here’s what it says in Ecclesiastes ten, verse ten.
If the axe is dull and its edge is unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success.
That means if I’m going to cut a tree right now and my axe is dull, I’m going to put a lot of strength to make sure that the tree is cut right.
Would you agree? But if I want to be smart, I can dedicate a little time to sharpen my axe.
That’s going to take me less time and less strength.
Does that make sense? So the first type of axe that you need to sharpen is your mindset.
Are you here with me? Are you sleeping already? Am I in the right room? Anybody here? So first I need to make sure that I get I work on my mindset, right? Make sure that I have my mindset right now, knowing that I’m building a business because there’s a difference between the employee mindset and the business owner mindset.
Two different types of mindset.
But we’re not going to focus much on the mindset.
So remember this.
If the axe is dull and its edge is on sharpened, more strength is needed.
But skill will bring success.
Now, here’s the thing.
Money follows value.
Somebody came to me say, hey, this job doesn’t pay.
They only pay $15 an hour.
And I said, all right, is there anybody else at the job? They’re paying 100,000 hours? She said, yes.
And you cannot say the job doesn’t pay.
That’s how much they pay you.
Now, why they pay you that much? So little money, you’re paying somebody else $100 an hour.
It’s because this person is adding more value to the company than you are doing it right.
Would you agree? So money follows value.
That means this is what I learned.
If you want to make more money, you just need to add more value to the marketplace.
The marketplace doesn’t care about who you are, et cetera.
This is what they care about.
How much value? How can you can improve my life? How can you solve my problem? And the more value you add, the more money you can make.
So what’s the difference? A guy that spent four years in college to get a degree and after that just to go to work and be 40 $50,000 a year.
And I just came here, I get an insurance license.
I spent four days he spent four years I spent four days and by the way, I spent four years getting a degree to back home.
But when I came, he didn’t serve me anything.
So I spent four days to get a degree in insurance.
He’s making 40 $50,000 a year and Cosalmo is making $90,000 a year with the same with this license.
Did you know that an insurance license is one of the best kept secrets to building wealth in America? Hello? So money follows value.
What’s the difference? This guy is going to work for a company, filling a position.
They’re going to pay him 40 $50,000 a year.
That’s the value that he adds.
Would you agree? And when I sat down with a client, I say, hey, Mr.
Client, if you die today, God forbid we’re going to deliver your family.
When other people come to help your family weep over the loss, right? Some other people bring flowers, but we’re going to bring a check.
Half a million dollars between him and him, between me and him, who adds the most value.
And that’s why the company is willing to pay me $1,000, $1,500, or even $2,000.
When I help that family, that’s mean we add more value.
So do you understand that you add more value when you’re sitting down with the family? That’s why they pay you that much money.
We have a teammate, he closed a client the other day.
He got paid $1,000 for just 1 hour.
So money follows value.
There are four levels of value.
The first one, just going to make it fast, is implementation.
Some people, you can use your muscles to make money, which is fine.
And this is when we’re trying to get results using our physical resources.
Over a period of time, we can make from minimum wage right, to around $80,000.
We’re not considering the ball players because this is a different type of game.
But this is when you use your physical resources to make money.
Some people think they work hard in Primerica.
We were moving.
My wife and I were moving.
We hired a moving company.
They sent us two guys and were living on a third floor in our apartment.
And these two guys were bringing stuff down.
They took 4 hours to bring the stuff down, just to bring them down, to put them in the truck.
And these guys, they were sweating, they got dry, they sweat again.
And I’m saying, man, I thought I was working hard in primerica, but compared to who? So what are you working hard at? So these are the people you use your muscles to make money.
The second one is unification.
This is when you use your management skills to make money, right? That means you can manage the people.
You can manage the people who are doing implementation.
The third one, right, is communication.
This is when we use our mouth.
That’s my favorite.
I can use my jaw.
I can use my lips to make money.
Isn’t that a good thing? I don’t have to work hard.
I can just use my mouth.
Hey, sir, what if something happened to you yesterday? How would your family be today? When you signed a contract to get the mortgage, did you have a plan for your family to lose their house in case you’re not there anymore? No.
That’s why you need life insurance.
I can use my mouth.
And the fourth one is imagination.
Well, this is guys like Elon Musk.
You know those guys? I’m not going to be the next Mark Zuckerberg creating the next Facebook.
I know that for sure.
I’m not going to be the next Elon Musk.
But I can dwell on this.
I can use my mouth to make money.
So if I’m going to use my mouth to make money, doesn’t it make sense to improve my skills on how I open my mouth to make more money? That means I need to improve my communication skills.
How do I communicate what we offer to the people that need it so I can spend a little time sharpening my axe on how to open my mouth? Do you guys understand? So now why don’t you dedicate some time to master your craft to learning how to prospect somebody, how to recruit that person, how to help that person, without what we do? This is communication.
You can make from 100,000 to hundreds of millions of dollars just using your mouth.
I believe the artists made over a million dollars like a few months ago.
I don’t remember.
They just use their mouth.
What a beautiful thing, right? I can use my mouth.
They add more value to the marketplace by improving their communication skills.
Folks, three ways.
Two ways you can increase your effectiveness.
The first one, you increase your efforts.
That means if you’re going to use your muscle, you put more time, more work.
The second way, you can increase your efficiency.
How can I get better, not only opening my mouth, but how can I train more people to do the same? So you need to practice, because practicing is how we build skills, speed and consistency.
And if the success of the organization is contingent on your physical presence, you’ll become a prisoner of your business.
This is what I learned, so I don’t have to just do it myself, but I can help my teammates to improve the way that they open their mouth as well, so they can add more value.
So that’s what I have for you folks.
I know the time is over, so spend more time working with your teammates.
But here’s the thing, folks.
There’s got to be a cause behind it.
There’s got to be a cause because David brought food to his friends, to his brothers, when they are in the fight, right? And when David came, he saw, you know, talking smack about Israel, which is the people of God.
And David said, who the heck is this guy? Let this guy talk smack about the people of God like that? And the guy said, hey, you can just look at him.
The guy is 10ft tall.
He’s big.
Don’t you see him? It’s obvious.
The guy said david said, no, don’t you have a cause? Because I don’t care how big the guy is, I don’t care how tall he is.
If he defeat us, they’re going to take our wives, they’re going to take our family, they’re going to take our children.
So that’s the cause.
So the question that I have for you right now, don’t you have a cause to fight for yourself and your family? Oh, Jude, I made ten calls.
I only scheduled two appointments.
Don’t you have a cause oh, Jude, my best friend quit on me.
Let me tell you something.
Don’t you have a cause? Let me tell you.
Hey, my first client canceled on me.
Don’t you have a cause? The cause is if you don’t make it, you’re not going to be financially independent.
And that’s why we’re fighting.
God bless you guys.
That’s my time.
