VIDEO SUMMARY

Patrick Salerno opens by emphasizing that information alone does not change results — application does. After decades in the business, he stresses that success comes from making small adjustments consistently.

He highlights visible wins happening across the company, including milestone achievements and leadership income growth, reinforcing that Primerica is a real and proven business model.

Patrick introduces the Fast Start bonus system as a game changer. Unlike earlier years, today new representatives can earn significant early income, sometimes more than if they were fully licensed. Every IBA and life application creates immediate earning potential, which can dramatically improve how new recruits get started.

When onboarding new representatives, he explains four foundational elements:

First, belief. New recruits must believe they can win and see that others are winning.

Second, trust. Representatives must understand the concept of financial interest — leaders only earn when their recruits earn first, creating aligned incentives.

Third, schedule. Success requires a dedicated Primerica schedule. Showing up consistently is non-negotiable, even for part-time representatives.

Fourth, promotions. Primerica provides a clear, black-and-white path to advancement. For example, recruiting three people can immediately move a new representative to Senior Representative with a pay increase.

He then identifies the most important action step: the Easy Three. These are the three closest contacts — family or close friends — who can be contacted immediately. Visiting them quickly creates early recruiting and sales momentum.

He shares a real example of how immediate action with close contacts led to recruiting, life insurance applications, and momentum within the first weeks.

Patrick concludes by distinguishing between working in the business (personal production) and working on the business (building distribution). While production matters, building distribution through recruiting should be the primary focus. Partnership and duplication drive long-term exponential growth.

I know it’s the end of the day. We had a lot of info today. All I could say is use it. Like, we all sat here, learned great nuggets and awesome things to help our business, but nothing’s gonna work if you don’t use it. So just apply it. Talk to everybody, you know, because everyone needs what we do. And even just planting the seeds, you never know. Six months down the road, they’ll be ready for what you’re doing and.

00:26
Whoa.

00:28
So just gonna give it up to my awesome partner, Pat Salerno.

00:39
Let’s give it up for Moria Salerno. How we all doing out there, guys? We have some nuggets for you guys. We got some wisdom for you guys. We’ve been here for over 30 years, so you. So here’s what happens when you’re here for 30 years. You learn a thing or two, right? You learn what to do, you learn what not to do, and you get really good at making improvements. And guys, that’s what we need to do today. We need to leave here changed. We need to leave here ready to do something different. We talk a lot of times about making minor adjustments to go win. And I’m watching it happen all over the place. We have regional leaders that are making $35,000 in the office that are part time, that could buy a car, right?

01:26
That’s a big deal, man, that you got that done. That’s huge stuff. We have people just now that you watched hit a milestone of Primerica watches. Let’s give them another round of applause. That is awesome stuff. So let me tell you, let me ask you a question. How many of you need a new watch or want a new watch? Why don’t you go get that one right, Scott? I didn’t just say your name, but why not, right? If you’re given the freedom to maybe run with Primerica for a few months, how about put that watch on your wrist? You know, I watched them upstage just now in tears about getting the watch. You got to get sold out about your success if you ever expect to go win something here, right? This is real, guys. Primerica is a real business.

02:14
So we had the privilege of handing out that watch twice to two regional leaders in the bay shop. And what an incredible time. Steve Rizza, you did a great job. Let’s give Steve a round of applause. That was awesome. You know, you talk about, they told us bring back some people, you know, and my cousin wasn’t always the one that was very like personality driven, right? They didn’t like people Too much. And I remember the meeting breaks and I studied the overcoming projections like best I could. And I said, so what did you like best? And he said that it was over. And he like walks away from me, like runs to the bathroom like, oh, this is going to good, right? So bring your cousin down. No, it all works out in the end, folks. Whatever you focus on grows, right?

02:59
Whatever you think about the most during the day, you become. So there was a point I thought I was going to become a woman, but that’s okay. That’s another story. But whatever you focus on grows. Wherever you put attention to, that’s what’s going to grow a little bit more. So, you know, today when we get a chance to speak, when we’re speaking right now, we’re like the second to last speaker. Usually by this point in the presentation, everything that were going to say has been said. You know what I’m talking about. But there was one thing that I did not hear anybody say all day long. And it’s talk about the fast track bonus system, folks. That Reva, you know, that changed the entire business. We didn’t have that growing up. We had to get creative, like scholarship bucks or something like that, right?

03:47
Today we could pay people more money than if they had the license on their own. Guys, you got to embrace that one. Every one by 1000, every IBA and every $83 life app going to be 200 bucks that you could put away in someone’s bank account. So we’re doing right now, we’re spending time reinventing. What are we doing to help people get off to a better start, a fast start, a restart. And I’m talking to people in the room right now. There’s a few things that we go over with people when they’re brand new. One of the first things we do is we put belief into the people. Right, guys? Is that an important one? Belief, right. I’m going to give you a bunch of things I do, and I’m going to leave you with the bombshell of what you need to do.

04:33
Because we think when we’re working with brand new people that we’re doing a great job of getting them all primerica ized, right? And giving them all the information that they need. But yes, it’s important. The number one thing, you got to give belief to the new people, right? They got to realize that they could go win and that people are winning in the company. What’s another really important one that people need to understand? The second thing is trust. They need to know they can trust you. You need to explain the concept of financial interest. We have a financial interest in your success. We don’t make any money until you make money first. So go over that concept with people. That one is awesome. The next one, you need to talk about a schedule, right? You need to talk about a schedule.

05:20
And everybody had a different way of doing it today, right? We want people to show up, don’t we? Right. Joe Enser used to say, how do you know who the winners are? They show up, right? So the very first thing we need to do is we need to have a schedule. Not just an ordinary schedule, a Primerica schedule, right? I get you work a full time job. I get you have kids. But you said you wanted to leave that and give more to your kids. If we don’t have a schedule here, nothing’s going to happen, right? So the first thing to do, you got to show up. What’s the next one? Right? Guys, there’s a couple of different things that we talk about promotions. We talk about promotions.

05:57
Many times when people are at a job, they have no idea how to get a promotion, right? No idea. Someone’s got to die. You got to kiss up to somebody. It just doesn’t work, right? And then they don’t get the promotion. In Primerica, we put it in black and white on your very first day and we say, listen, how would you like a 38% pay raise? Why’d I just sign my IBA? Right? If we get three people to do what you just did right now, I’m gonna get you to start as a senior representative, not a regular representative. How does that sound with you? Who could we go see right now? Right? And I’m gonna roll that in a little bit about what we’re gonna do with that and how we’re gonna work with that, right? Who knows?

06:35
Something else we would do with brand new people, guys, all those things that we pour into them. How about the support, right? That they’re in business for themselves, but not by themselves. And that’s when we jump into Pol. Pol is a giant pit. You know what I’m talking about? People open that up and they don’t know where to go. And that’s why we have a great leader, Joe and Denise Cardeno, that created a website that has the finer things that we need people to go see. So we explain all the support. Everything that you need to win is right in front of you. And you know, we’ve leaned on the support guys. We have wholesalers that come out Like Vinny Ragusa. And we have fun all the time building aum together, which is an awesome thing.

07:18
So all of that’s great stuff, right, that I went over so far, right? We even put it into a packet form and it’s bound and it looks cool and it’s got a plastic cover and they go home with something that. Pretty cool stuff, right? But guess what? That’s not the important part. The important part is pulling out their Easy three, right? They pull out their easy three. Now, what are the Easy three? Those are the three people that are closest to them that you basically could make a phone call and pop by and go see them. That’s mom, dad, girlfriend, wife, brother, sister, cousin, all those people. And when could you go see them? Right now. We want to go see the Easy three right away. And you know, we’re watching it happen in our bay shop right now.

08:04
We have a competition between Isaiah White and Doug Graham and they’re both running after double digit recruiting, which is exciting, right? But here’s what happened. Isaiah brought Rahim to the meeting. He just asked him to come check it out. Raheem says, you know what? I’d really like to do this and is it okay if I bring my girlfriend back? We found out they were expecting. Raheem came on board and the first thing he did was he said, I need that life insurance. And then they came on board. The next week, Raheem brought Audrey to the meeting on his own. And Audrey came to the meeting, said, you know what, this is awesome. I’d love to learn how to do this part time.

08:38
She submitted her IBA and then that night they went to her house and she says, you know something, I’d like to do the life insurance. And they wrote life insurance. That’s an example of the Easy three. Does that make sense to you guys, right? Because listen, you could work on your business, I or you could work in your business, right? Now an example of working in your business is being like a Mark Velapoldi, being like a Jimmy Robdow. They could get a million dollar check like there’s no tomorrow, right? That’s working in on the services, right? But the best thing that you could do is to focus on building distribution, make recruiting the number one focus, and partnership is the power. Thank you guys for paying attention. We’ll see you all at the top.
