VIDEO SUMMARY

In this high-energy session, several Future RVP leaders share how to close the gap, climb the scoreboard, and stay there inside Primerica.

The focus begins with recognition in recruiting — both personal and base shop. The message is clear: recruiting is the entry point to leadership. Premium and investments matter, but recruiting builds the platform.

Marilyn Martinez opens by sharing her personal journey back into the business after initially rejecting the opportunity. After experiencing loss and seeing firsthand how life insurance claims impacted families she had helped, she realized the mission was bigger than income. Her message centers on purpose, legacy, and generational change. Success isn’t just about promotion — it’s about being the answer to someone else’s prayer.

Juanita Jackman shifts the focus to competition and the scoreboard. She emphasizes that competition is healthy. It forces growth. Instead of being intimidated by recognition, study it. Track the scoreboard weekly. Look at recruiting, premium, licensing, and team production. Treat it like a grading system. If you’re not recognized, you’re not far behind — but you must adjust your activity.

She also highlights a key mindset: number one is negotiable. If you’re on top, someone is chasing you. If you’re behind, you can close the gap. Comfort is the real enemy.

The Jackmans reinforce the power of partnership. In Primerica, partnerships work because they complement, not compete. One may lead from the front while the other stabilizes operations — but both are essential. Strong teams understand their roles and stay unified in vision.

The final speakers emphasize commitment. Many reps believe they need a Regional Vice President contract to produce at high levels. That belief becomes an excuse. When they decided to operate as if they were already RVPs — producing $10,000 personal premium and hitting major milestones — results followed.

The key distinction:

Interest says, “I’ll try.”
Commitment says, “No matter what.”

They stress that skill sets grow through consistency. Doubt fades when you stay plugged into training. Two partners aligned toward one goal accelerate results.

The session closes with a unifying declaration: you were born to win. But winning requires action — recruiting, producing, tracking, adjusting, and staying disciplined.

Climbing the scoreboard is simple.
Staying there requires commitment.

If I could have Marilyn, Carlos Martinez to the left here, Juanita Jackman and Lachpe and Shiv Gertie all, they all got recognized in the recruiting categories, personal and base shop. And with that, I want to bring them up one at a time to come speak to you in that particular order. They have five minutes each to address you guys, but this is where you pay a lot of attention. Okay? They all got recognized in recruiting. We’ll see if they get recognized in premium later on or investments. So please welcome the first of those three. This is Marilyn and Carlos Martinez.

00:59
Oh, man. Super excited. Who’s excited to be here today? Come on. Wow. I’m so honored and always humbled to just be able to say something right? And so one of the things I was thinking about, I said, you know, lord, I promise that if I came into this business, that I was going to give you glory every single time you allowed me to speak. So I just want to give God glory. Any believers in the house. But I wanted to share with you guys that this is not my first time in Primerica, okay? The opportunity came up when my sister joined Primerica years ago. And I was one of those people who said, I’m not joining because that’s a scam, right? Everyone around me said, oh, it was a scam. I was already had my nursing degree and I was like, I’m good.

01:48
I don’t need extra income. And however, how many of you know that when life starts to change, your why and think your purpose starts to change, right? And so one of the things that happened was that I came into the business through a co worker on a training appointment, shout out to Mike, who’s here, right? His wife was like, would you do a training appointment for my husband? And I was like, sure, why not? And so that I came into the business back in 2022 and did a lot of training, helped a lot of people. Unfortunately, my dad passed away, and that took me out, right? And how many of you guys know that when life happens, it’s very easy to throw in the towel?

02:25
But one of the reasons that took me out was one of the reasons that brought me back into the business back in 2022, when I was praying and asking God, what do I do? What’s my opportunity? And he gave me a word. And I came back into this business because a few people that I had helped during my training back in 2018 had passed away. And so here I am, not even part of Primerica, calling my trainer Sherry, right, to do a death claim, not one person, but on two people. And I’m still not part of the business. And I’m like, lord, is this a sign? Is this a sign? Right? And so I started to pray and ask the Lord, and he gave me confirmation that December and that January, I joined in.

03:10
And so grateful for my husband, who’s always supporting me and. And pushing me forward and believing in me, because in that season, I had a baby, right? How many moms in the house? But what I want to share is that the reason why I’m here is because I understand that me and my husband were chosen and destined to have make a change on this earth. How many of you believe that? That we have a purpose, that we have been anointed to be in this business, not only because we’re breaking generational curses of poverty over our territories, our generations, our cult. Come on. But we’re also doing it because we’re thinking about our kids and their kids.

03:51
And we want to make sure that they do not struggle, that they do not see a need, and that they will be the pioneers to continue the legacy that we have started. Right? And a lot of you are here thinking you’re just here doing something new. Oh, let me just give this a try. But I’m here to tell you in this morning that you are here because you’ve been destined to be here, because God purposed it for you to be here, because there’s a reason for you to be here. Here, because there is something that you’re supposed to change for your family, for your generations to come. And I’m gonna tell you that it’s gonna be hard, but it’s gonna be worth it. Because going against the current is never easy. But it will pay off in the long run.

04:34
And I want to remind you that when the going gets tough, keep on pushing. Because there’s a family that’s waiting for you. Because there are people who are waiting to hear about the opportunity. Because there are people who. Who are stuck in a 9 to 5 and stuck in poverty and praying to God for the opportunity. And you have the solution in your hands. So don’t be afraid to talk to anyone. Continue to speak to everyone you know, because understand and know that you can be the answered prayer to someone’s opportunity. God bless you guys and see you at the top.

05:34
Visionaries. Marilyn, that was a great speech. I hate coming behind you, but I ain’t got no choice anyhow. Good afternoon, all. I’m Sean Jackman. I want to thank Joe, Denise and the Crusaders for having us Here today, I’m talking about partnerships. When it comes to partnerships, in Primerica, we all bring something different to the table. Some partners are drivers. They’re out in front setting the pace. Some are cheerleaders. They keep the energy up and the team motivated. Some are strategists. They plan, organize, and keep things on track. Me, I’m the supportive partner. I’m the calm one. I am the steady one. I keep the house running. I make sure lights stay on. Most importantly, I make sure she’s fed. Because when she’s hungry, let’s just say production comes to the end. All right?

06:32
But my role might not always be loud, but it’s always an impact. Strong partnerships work because they complement each other, not compete. And now, the one who brings the fire, vision, and the drive, my wife and senior regional leader, Juanita Jackman.

06:53
You did good.

06:53
You did good.

06:56
What’s up, everybody? I’m hot. Running across the stage. This is an amazing event, and my topic is competition. But listen, partnership comes in all forms, whether it’s husband and wife, sister and brother, whatever the case may be. And partnerships do look different. But let’s talk about competition. Competition is a good thing. You know, competition helps you rise to the occasion. You want to surround yourself with people doing well and people around you because. Because if you are not around people who are pushing you up or making you get to the next level, you’ll stay stagnant. So competition is not a negative thing. Looking at the scoreboard, I stalked the scoreboard shout out to Kobe. She used to show us how to look at the scoreboard in training.

07:42
I didn’t understand anything, but my partner over here would look on the scoreboard and say, you’re not that far behind. See, some of you may see people walking across the stage and saying, I didn’t get recognized. But you. But you’re not that far behind. What are we doing to change that? What are we coming back at the next school to do? Is it going to be more recruits, more premium, more securities? What are we looking to change? Looking at the top of the scoreboard, you want to see who number one. Not the person, but the position. Because number one is negotiable, because people are trying to catch you, People are trying to come behind you. And sometimes you get comfortable at number one and don’t realize that someone is coming behind you. But visionaries, we about to be number one, right? That’s right.

08:21
And shout out to Yakira, number one.

08:25
District in the state of Connecticut and in the state of New York, that’s right over there. Okay. Led by her awesome coach. Cheeky. You know, we have so many different promotions. We got Aaron. I don’t want to forget anybody. Aaron, Justin, Daisha, Angela. We got licenses. Aaron, Justin, Galilea, Angela, Caitlin, Carice. And the scoreboard is also your grading system. Where are you at on the scoreboard? Are you at the bottom? But we can get to the top, just like in school, right? And we got those progress reports. I was not a scholar. Thank you, mommy, for not. I was not a scholar at all. But what we did is try. Are you even trying? And there’s different types of scoreboards. There’s F and a scoreboard. There’s team cast. There’s licensing, there’s recruiting. There’s your virtual base shop. Where are you at?

09:15
Where is your team at? Where is your upline at? See, if Donna’s not on the scoreboard. I’m taking it personal. You know why? Because I’m a part of the team, and it is part of my responsibility to have team pride and make sure she gets recognized, period. So where you. Are you guys looking at where your coaches are? Do we know where they’re at? Do we know what the goal is? Is it 20 by 20? 30 by 30? 50 by 50? And what are we doing to get there? So that’s all I got. I wrote more notes, but I didn’t say any of it. But listen, we. We all can get to the top visionaries. We see it. Thank you, Joe and Denise. I love you, mom. And let’s kill it.

10:06
All right, Good morning, everyone. It’s no pressure at all having our mini future RVB here listening to us for the first time. But, you know, we just want to take a moment to give thanks to God, you know, for us being here and for us having this amazing opportunity to. And, you know, being in an amazing company like Primerica, you know, thank you to Joe and Denise for giving us an opportunity to speak and to represent. It definitely means a lot, you know, to our team, VIP Eagles. You know, we are here because of you guys. Without you guys in the back, we couldn’t be standing on this stage. And, you know, to our uplines, our mentors and our second parents, David and Joyce.

10:48
You know, everything that we have done, we have accomplished, and for the people we are today, we owe it all to them, because without their guidance, we really couldn’t have done all that we have done. And, you know, today I want to talk about commitments, right? Because I feel like that’s one of the, you know, the Most important thing that we all need to have in this business to be successful, we have to be committed, right? And I think before we get committed, we need to have faith. We have to have strong faith, right? For those of you in the room right now that’s either married or you have a partner, you’re in a relationship, I’m sure before you committed, you had to have faith in that person and that it was going to work.

11:25
And you have to treat Primerica the same way, right? Treat Primerica like your kids, treat it like your spouse, like your partner, treat it like your marriage and commit to it, because that’s when you’re really gonna get to the next level. You know, from day one, we’ve always had faith in the company. We had faith in our up, and we had faith in ourself and what were doing. And were committed. But there’s always another level. There’s always another level higher for you to go. And, you know, the beginning of this year, you know, we sat down, we analyzed our business, and we said, you know what? We think we’re 100% committed. But we really weren’t. You know why?

11:59
We were making excuses that, hey, we can’t hit 10,000 personal premium as future RVP’s, we can’t hit 100,000, you know, cash flow as our future RVP’s, we need the contract. But those were excuses were making because were not 100% committed. And the minute we just became 100% committed, you know, not distracted, 100% disciplined and focused, we started breaking records, we started hitting 10,000 personal premium and above, right? We were able to hit our watch in the first quarter of this year, right? Things that we taught was impossible without a regional vice president contract. If that’s you right now, and you think that, hey, I need a regional vice president contract to make moves and make money, guess what? You don’t. You can do it with a senior rep contract, you can do it with a district leader contract. You just have to be committed.

12:49
All right? And now I’m going to pass it over to my amazing partner in the business. If it was not for him, I would not have been able to dream the dreams that I dreamt here in Primerica. I would not be able to have the visions that I have here of becoming a million dollar income earner. It’s all because he stood by my side. He supported me no matter what. Even those days when I was not recruiting anybody, I was not writing any business, he supported me and he believed in me. And, you know, I want to thank you so much for being the best partner ever.

13:22
VIPs, how you doing, man? I love these people over here. I love everyone in the room. Right? Well, you see, we all got here this morning safe and strong for a reason, right? You’re not here by a mistake or mishap, right? God wanted you here, right? Give thanks to him, you know, he works miracle man. If it wasn’t for him, he wouldn’t be standing here today. All right, so shout out to him. She said it’s all about what I instill in her to dream. No, it was all her since day one, right? She has been a rock. You know how we have the foundation of the financial house that we tell to our clients. She has been the foundation of our business from day one, right?

14:03
So shout out to her and we have our biggest why on the stage with us means so much. She’s the reason why, you know, we’re going through the fight, right? And we’re gonna win this fight no matter what, right? You see, when I started Prime Merca, I’ll tell you guys a little personal story, right? There was a lot of doubts in my mind. I had no education, no skill set, no experience, nothing, right? The people around me was telling me, man, you don’t know nothing about finance. You don’t have a degree, you’re not gonna be able to do it, right? So the doubts start creeping in. But when I looked at my wife and I looked at the business, know she can win in this business. So as a partner, all I needed to do is just support her, right?

14:41
And if you have a partner business, that’s all you need to do. If you don’t think you’re the one that can do it, right? But as I kept plugging in and I kept showing up to the trainings, guess what happened? My skill set started to, you know, improve. I started to talk to people, I started to get results for myself. And you know what? That’s when we know we’re going to become million dollar earners in this company. Because two person working towards one goal, you get it done double time, faster, right? So get somebody into the business. Those same people that doubt you is going to end up being the same people going to come back to you for help. So you need to be here for them when that happens, all right? And in ending, I got a line.

15:23
I want you guys to say with me, all right? I was born to win. Nothing’s gonna stop me. Nothing’s gonna get in the way. I was born as a champion and that I will be Bailback Joe.
