Executive TLDR

Master the basics before trying to build big.
Fix mistakes immediately and never repeat them.
Recruiting is the multiplier that changes everything.
A dream must be big enough for everyone to fit inside it.
Video Summary
From arriving in America on a visa with no connections to building a powerhouse organization inside Primerica, Teshler Senat delivers a message about obsession, mastery, and aggressive recruiting.
He didn’t arrive with resources.
He arrived with hunger.
And hunger, when disciplined correctly, becomes power.
Immigrant Hunger Creates Relentless Drive
Senat came to the United States from Haiti as the first person in his family to ever land in America.
No connections.
Limited English.
Full financial responsibility.
Before committing to the opportunity, he asked two questions:
Show me the money.
Show me this is legal.
Once he got clarity, he committed completely.
Winning was not optional.
Early Rejection and Emotional Breakthrough
Like many new representatives, rejection came quickly.
His only cousin in America canceled a policy three weeks after buying it.
On his second appointment, he struggled explaining the Rule of 72.
He sweated. He froze. He lost the deal.
That night he sat in his closet, studied the flip chart, and mastered the concept.
From that day forward:
Nothing would ever hit him twice.
Weakness became weapon.
Master the Basics Before You Scale
Senat emphasizes that this is a doing-it-first business.
Before building a giant team, you must:
Close consistently
Understand “die too soon”
Understand “live too long”
Become the best student in the room
He mastered two foundational concepts:
Die too soon.
Live too long.
After that, closing became predictable.
Production builds belief.
Belief builds leadership.
Change First So Others Believe
Why don’t friends and family join?
Because they don’t see change.
Same car.
Same habits.
Same income.
People join momentum — not potential.
The solution:
Recruit five people every month
Attend every major event
Become obsessed
If nobody calls you “Primerica,” you’re not visible enough.
Recruiting Is the Real Multiplier
During a recruiting crusade in Orlando, Senat met a leader who would later earn close to $600,000 per year and approach Six Diamond status.
That moment proved a powerful lesson:
You are one recruit away from explosion.
Sales generate income.
Recruiting generates freedom.
Dream So Big Everyone Has a Spot
Senat challenges leaders not to sell a small dream.
If your vision is too small, it won’t inspire anyone.
Your dream must be so big that:
Everyone feels like they belong inside it.
His declaration:
Surpass one million dollars by convention.
The opportunity works.
The real question is:
Do you?

Transcript:
I’m so excited to be here tonight, mate. That’s a big stage, man. Big stage. Look at guys. Look, I am excited about this opportunity, but you guys managed to be here and make it a lot more beautiful. We really appreciate you. I have a bush of teammate here. My name is from. For those here for the first time, you should know me, right? But when I came here, I was looking for a way out. I was looking for an opportunity to make a difference. I was that guy who came to this country not knowing nobody. I came on a visa. I used to work for a company. Obviously they made a mistake and gave me a visa. I don’t know how you do that. How do you give a visa to a guy like Tesla looking to stay?
And I always tell people, rich people travel, but when you poor, you broke like job and they make a mistake, give you a visa, you do something big with it. All right? So I want you to do me a favor. Are you to speak to the person beside you and tell them I have to win here? Yes, you have to. You have to. When I came here as a winner. Because the winner, what they do though, they ask the right question. I sat down with coach Shaman at the office and he went over a lot of good stuff. Who’s having it too, blah, blah. By terminated, I said, coach Harmon, hey, wait a minute. Show me the money. Show me this is legal. And if you do those two, I’m in. Put me in. I figure out the rest later.
So this is the guy I used to work. I used to security valet and I worked at a nightclub as a bouncer. And I was a full time dad. How do you do that? But I had no choice. I had a family in Haiti. I was the only one in my family the person in my family ever lended to America, ever. We were so unfortunate. We didn’t have anybody in my family who even tried to came here on boat.
I mean, boot.
Probably the easiest thing to do, but they didn’t do that. I don’t know why, but I was the first one. So I had the entire family on my back. So I said, when I come here, no matter what, I am going to win. Now if you ask me, I’ll tell you. I bring my mom, my dad, all my siblings, my cousin, all my cousin. I bring pretty much everybody, my family here in 17 years. And it takes money to do this. But poor America was the opportunity that got us to where we are today. Give it up for pal. America guys, a big deal now in my last five minutes, I’ll tell you how did I do it? And I know you’re here for the how many of. If you like me, you will remember those day when you just got started.
Seems like everybody you spoke to said no. Seems like even your book. My only cousin I have in this country bought my policy, dropped it. Three weeks later, my own cousin. So I understand what’s going on right now. But what you always have to understand, winning or losing will be your choice. You get to decide what do you want to do? My game plan was nothing will ever hit me twice. I got on my first appointment by myself with no call. And I get to meet a lady called Terry. Terry was a white lady, and I speak no English. So when I get there trying to do my thing, Terry said, this sounds interesting. Let me read it. She turned it and read everything. And she said, how do I buy? And at that time, we had a pump pilot.
Do you remember those things? So I kind of figured out a way to give a quote. On my way out, she said, let me walk you to your car. But I walk. And I said, terry, I park all the way to back. So Terry said, okay, have a good night. But I closed my first deal. On my second appointment, what I did, I got stuck with rule 72. I couldn’t explain it. I sweating. I was nervous a little bit. She said, okay. So he said, sister from the church, it’s okay. But I know it’s not okay, because I am here to close that dumb, stupid deal. Well, I left and went home. Sitting in my closet, I cry and I sit down with that flip chart. I read it wood 72. I kind of fix it really together next time. Every time. Every appointment.
Wood 72 was the best of the best. And I closed every occasion. So your master craft is seven key. Let me tell you my philosophy. When I came, nobody took me that serious. Because I was brand new in this country. Just got my social, didn’t know what to do. But guess what? I sat down and mastered two things. Died too soon, lived too long. That’s what Koshamot showed me. And in every single appointment thereafter, I closed in every single deal. Now, I am here to tell you something. The reason why your friends, your family, your coworker, they don’t join you because they don’t see the change yet you make no money. You drive the same car, the same neighborhood, you hang out with the same quad that you talk about. Change. What change? Well, you change first. How do you change?
You go, we quit every single month. Five people. And you attend. Going with a personal pain. If you ask me. I can tell you this month I can go right. 2020, $5,000 in premiere with my own pain. Because I don’t want nobody to put me on my knees. But guess what? We talk about a big game. Yes, it is about building a big team. A big organization. Building a giant team. But guess what? Before you do, at some point you got to understand the basic of the business. This is a doing it first business. You guys see what I’m saying? This is a doing it first business. If you go right now, you go on a madman cycle where you said, I am going on a recruiting crusade. I’m going to let everybody know what I do.
I will make sure they call me crazy. And I bet you if you out there and nobody called you prime America. Then you’re not in business yet. You got to be so obsessed. Where everybody call you and call you. Primerica, Primerica. Then you know you are in business. So, guys, the rule is simple. You got to make sure you master a craft. You become the best student of the business. You got to make sure you’re recruiting first. I am haitian. So when I go see people, I want know, close that deal and get my money. Because I’m hungry. I need that money. But at some point, you gotta understand. Recruiting will get you everything else you need. You guys get that, so you get people licensed. I went to Orlando. The best thing happened to me. I met a guy named Wezilia.
Where is Wezilia? This guy right now is making close to 600 grand right now. Six diamond. That close. I met him ten years ago on my crusade. To recruit, yes, you have to recruit. Yes. You have to make sure people catch that fire. The other day he called me, said, coach, listen, I remember the way you sold me the opportunity. Guys, people see the opportunity before they see you. So you cannot come here and sell people on the low dream. Got to be something big. Something big. And if your dream is not big enough for everybody, that’d be to scare everybody. At some point it’s too small. Your goal has to be so big where everybody feel like they have a spot. Guys, I am excited right now. We have a big challenge. I told you I was flat book.
We’re going over a million dollars by the convention. You guys see what I’m saying? We are going over a million dollars for the convention. This opportunity worked. But do you work? You guys see me? This opportunity works. Do you work how hard you want to go fight for yourself? Your family, people who trust in you. People who believe in you guys. Let’s go get big. Let’s go, masses. Let’s go. Focus. Let’s go get big. Let’s go in.
