Let’s go, let’s go.
Keep the energy, keep the energy.
Hurry up.
Get the shoes real quick.
I don’t got a lot of time.
He’s over there.
LFG.
So I’m gonna be real quick because.
We only got five minutes.
You know, when I first got the call from hard Earth, super ecstatic.
I think we both were super ecstatic, super grateful, you know what I mean? But then we thought to ourselves, dang, how are we going touch all these people with this little bit of time that we got? Right? So me and my wife, and I’m not going to lie, she came up with a lot of this.
I’m just the one that’s delivering the message, by the way, Bryce Battle.
Lexi battle power builder.
Shout out to Horv.
And everybody over there appreciate you.
You know, it’s touching.
It’s hard to talk about, but I.
Figured, what better way to tell you guys about a little bit of how we got here? A lot of resilience.
Okay.
And when I say, I need you all to say this, whenever I say.
How do we get here? I need you all to say, resilience.
Can you all do that? Okay.
All right, so how do we get here? Okay, so were married in 15.
Got married in 15.
I chased her for months.
Got married in 15.
Had a little bit of trouble conceiving.
Okay, had a little bit of trouble conceiving.
And strongest woman I know there.
A little bit after we finally were able to conceive.
Happy times.
And we had twins.
With twins.
So happy.
A little bit of happy.
A little bit of scared.
Rema, you getting the shoes again? A little happy.
A little scared.
And I don’t want to say I was probably the one that was more scared.
Like I said, she’s strong.
But a little bit after that, we.
Finally do get pregnant, and we lose the twins.
Yeah, we lose them.
How did we get here? Brazilian.
Okay, so it was 18, and I still have hard times with it today, but like I said, I only got a couple of minutes.
So this is where my partner comes in and tells the rest of the story.
I only got two minutes.
Be quiet.
Okay.
Hi, everybody.
Where’s the energy? My first.
Come on, let’s go.
Right.
So, like Bryce was saying, were having trouble conceiving.
Took us almost two years.
We got pregnant with these babies, and.
We were having two, and then we lost them.
But I just have a question for you guys.
How many of you have ever experienced a tragedy? Anybody ever experienced a tragedy in the room? Did you know that your survival was.
Crucial because somebody’s lives were changed through.
Your testimony, or someone’s lives were going.
To be changed through your testimony.
So we have to survive those tragedies.
So, like Bryce was saying, we lost our babies.
And at that time, I was working.
As a registered nurse in labor and delivery.
So just imagine being a labor nurse who cannot get pregnant, being a labor.
Nurse who has to see life being.
Brought into the world every day.
But bringing babies into the world was.
Something I could not do.
So we get about six months along.
If any of you guys.
I know it takes about nine months.
To grow a baby, right? So, six months along, we have these.
Babies, and they don’t survive.
So were embarrassed.
We were devastated.
But that tragedy broke us into a million pieces.
But I one time heard someone say.
That the benefit of being shattered is that you can choose which pieces you want to pick back up.
So, out of those pieces, we picked up faith.
We picked up strength.
We picked up relentlessness.
It taught us to cherish every single moment.
It taught us to seize every single opportunity, and that if we could survive one of the worst days that we.
Ever had together, that we could do anything.
So, at the time, we didn’t know.
Or understand why we had to go through it.
But if we didn’t, we would have.
Never walked away from the job.
So I walked away from nursing in May.
We would have never had an open mind.
We would have never been receptive to this opportunity.
So sometimes unfortunate things happen to us.
To push us in a direction of our purpose.
So, the day we signed our IBAs, we did not know or have any.
Idea that it would be the day it changed our lives forever.
The crusade was what were being prepared for through our struggle.
And with this business, we get to impact families every single day and change so many lives.
So I say all that to say when you come against times in your business, when you come against tragedies in your life, to push through them and be resilient, because in dark times comes growth, when dark times comes wisdom, it opens up doors that we may have.
Never walked through otherwise.
So we are proud to be your.
Teammates and keep the energy up, y’all.
My first calorie was way more lit.
