My job today is just to show you guys about being an rvp. Who here wants to be an RVP or promote out RVP’s? Should be everybody, right? And so it all starts with mentality, right? I think every day that we walk around, we should be walking around as if we’re. This picture right here. You don’t know if this plane, whether it be an F15, F35, whatever the case, something F, right? You don’t know if it’s taking off or if it’s landing, right? You don’t know what it’s doing. But it looks intense, right? It looks ready to go, right? So you have to stay ready so you don’t have to get ready, right? And so in our business, the same thing. I’m gonna show you guys how we do it, but a little story, a little backstory on my life, you know, and what Primerica has done for us. This is just the beginning, right? This is. I always go back to this picture right here because it was a similar event back in the early 90s. It was a Larry Wydell school, right? And my dad, who is my hero, he’s my heroes in this picture. My older brother Jason, and my dad, right? And his job as a hero, or as your dad or as a dad, is to provide vision, right? To provide vision for your kids. Provide vision. Provide vision, you know? And this Larry Wydell school, he gets on stage and as he’s closing the meeting, and Joe Ensor was the guest speaker there. Man, what a great experience. I got to meet Joe Ensor. I got to talk to Joe Inzer. I didn’t know who he was. I just knew he was just a massive human being, right? And so the dad gets on stage and he goes, hey, listen, I’m gonna bring out my. My top first generation RVP’s. And he brought us out on stage. And that right there has never left my mindset. And I was like, man, listen, that is something that’s gonna be tattooed in my brain forever, right? And no matter what career path I took, I knew I could always come back and become an RVP with my dad and my brother, right? And then the second thing as a parent that you gotta provide is lifestyle, right? This is my mom. This is the first time that went on a Primerica trip, the first time they won a Primerica trip. We didn’t see the struggles at all, right? We didn’t see the chargebacks. We didn’t see the hurt, we didn’t see the neglect. We didn’t see any of that stuff. We thought they were just. It was just an easy business, right? And this is the first trip that they won’t. And that showed Jason and I that this business was incredible, right? I’m talking about who here went to Orlando for the trip. Incredible experience, no lines. It was all you can eat, all you can drink. It’s the first time I saw people running down the streets with two turkey legs, screaming, right? I’ve never seen that. And people taking a bite of a turkey leg and throwing it away and grabbing another turkey leg. Nah, man. When were raised, you eat the whole bone, right? All the way to the end. So that was an incredible experience that taught us lifestyle, right? And through this time period, you can actually see that the person next to me on every picture was always my older brother. And he was always telling me vision. He was always inspiring me. He was always growing with me. And with that, you know, I had the blessing to get drafted or not drafted, get picked up as a free agent at a college, a small college in Mississippi called Belhaven College. And I got picked up by The Saints in 2009. I got released by the Saints in 2009 and picked up by the Vikings in 2010. You know, and then after I got released by the Vikings, I played arena football for four years. But what was incredible about that experience is that with the Saints, the next year, they won the super bowl, right? That was when Drew Brees was there, Reggie Bush. I mean, they had a squad there, right? I got released from there. I was in the same locker room as all those people go to the Vikings. That’s when they had Brett Favre, right? Brad Childress was his last year there, had Adrian Peterson, just in his prime. I was in the same locker room as them, right? And then as I went to the arena football team, right, Our gm, a good friend of mine, right now, he is, right? Derrick Brooks. Derrick Brooks was the one that he was mentoring me or talking to me, you know, encouraging me, you know? But what was really crazy is that I never had that stardom

You know, I think were destined to do something like this. I’ve only ever seen my parents do two things in their entire life, which was serve in our military and coming to Primerica in 1992. Yeah, go ahead. Give it up for everybody in the military. And so when my parents started in 1992, I was seven, Eric was five. We started as child writers in the business. And, man, it’s been absolutely incredible, right? We got licensed in 2000. I got licensed in 2003 at 18. This will be my 23rd year license with the company, man. So it’s incredible. Eric got licensed in 2005. And, you know, we built a. We started building a business together, man, and it’s been absolutely incredible. You know, kind of, you know, when we graduated college, Eric and I got a chance to play football together. It’s been amazing. We got. We played football in college, we graduated. We pretty much done everything, our whole lives together. And, you know, when he. When, When. When we graduated college, Eric got a chance. He’ll share a story a little bit. Got a chance to go into play professional sports. And because I was so used to doing everything with him, you know, I got a job at the place Wadley, where he used to. Where he was an athlete. I got a place. I got a job there selling tickets to put fans in the stands to see my baby brother play, right? And it was really amazing. What was crazy, Eric got injured. He hurt his shoulder about three, four years into his career. He retired at the ripe age of 24. And when he retired, or when the team let him go, ironically enough, the staff fired me, right? They let me go. And they said, we don’t need you anymore. You guys are. You’re good. And, man, I said, you know, this is a chance where I could really come back into this thing, really get after it. And Eric and I, we built a business to senior vice president. We built a couple of RV, three RVP’s, each of us. We got to 300,000. And what happened was kind of reiterate, what Keith was mentioning was that in 2020, around Covid, we had started building a regional vice president. I built our third regional vice president completely through zoom. The first time that we ever met her was celebrating her regional vice president promotion in person, which was pretty wild. And, man, it was wild because around that era, around 2020, we made a trip to New York. She lived in Rochester, New York. We’re visiting her. Myself, Jackie My wife and my dad went up to visit her to celebrate her grand opening at her office. And the whole time there, dad was complaining about a arm injury. He was like, man, my shoulder is kind of hurting. I have heartburn. We thought he was just eating too many Buffalo Wild Wings up in Rochester, right? So. And turns out when we got back, Bernard, the whole time he was going through, he was having a minor heart attack the entire time, and we didn’t know anything about that. We realized that, and, man, something for us, for the family, clicked at that point. We said, listen, up to this point, right? We’re building a business, but each one of us are building it separately, selfishly. We’re building something for my family. Eric’s building something for his family. Mom and dad were building it for them. And at that point, we realized, man, if something happens to one of us, what happens to the entire business? And we decided, you know what? Let’s run this thing together. Let’s run this thing so that if anything were to ever happen to any of the six of us, the business would continue to run for generations to come for our kids, our grandkids, because that’s what it was built for us. So in about 2020, we merged our businesses. Mom and dad were about 6, 700,000 of income. And, man, we really took it upon us to have a pride about that thing and take it to the next level. And right now, man, this is a pretty big milestone for us. This last week, we’re at $1.3 million, right? Double that income. And so, man, it’s just been an absolute, incredible ride. And I want to show you guys and share with you all kind of what we’ve been focusing in on the last couple of years to really explode this thing, right? There we go. There we go. Perfect, right? So check this out, y’all. We got to have a recruiting mindset. I think everything in business comes with a recruiting mindset, right? And so if we look at this, why is it that we want to recruit? See, if this is us right here, we got our goals, our dreams, our visions, and we want to come in the business

So, if you’re ready to break through barriers and elevate your Primerica journey, you can’t afford to miss this. Watch the video below and discover the insights that could redefine your success. Video Transcription: Just excited. Excited to be here with you guys today. For those of you how many of you are not licensed with us, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m talking to you. All right, all right. Awesome. So one of the things that we do. Excited to be with you guys today, we got an unbelievable day planned for you. And normally what we do is I do events like this once or I used to do four a year with our leadership team that’s in the front row here. We usually have 2,500 or 3,000 people up in the northeast. And we started doing super Saturdays once a year. Just like a little five hour event. We’re not going to take a lunch, we’re going to just go right through. A lot of us look like we need to fast anyway, so me included. And so one of the things that we’re going to do is we’re going to get an opportunity to highlight some of the players in the area. And the thing that’s pretty cool is we’ve got a bunch of bigwigs here. When you look at the business and you look at the size of our company, you look at what’s happening in Primerica. We share. Hey, stop acting like a baby. And you look at what’s happening in our business right now, in our company. I’ve been here 38 years, starting our 38th year in Primerica. I started when I was 22. And I look at. You don’t have to clap for that either. I’m old, so. But you look at the business side and you look at where we started and what the company is. And my background is I was a plumber and I taught a karate school. I had no financial interest, no financial experience. And we took a look at a business opportunity and I use this example all the time. When we looked at Primerica, which was Al Williams at the time, it looked nothing like the company looks today. We weren’t a Wall street company. We had some good concepts and the concepts today are still fundamentally solid. And I look at what’s happening within Primerica and I look at the growth of our company. And a lot of us were on that floor the day that we took the company public. And you know, went from being a parent, our parent company being Primerica, to Primerica purchasing a little company called Travelers Insurance, which a lot of you have heard of Travelers Insurance. And then Travelers Insurance became Travelers Group, which was our parent company. And then Travelers Group merged. They called it a merger, but it was A takeover of Citibank by Sandy Weil. And they merged the two companies. And there was co CEOs for about 26 hours until Sandy Wild took over. And then Citigroup was the largest company in the world for a bunch of years up until 2008, Citigroup was the largest company in the world. Not by a little, by a lot. And Citigroup was big. There was no Google, there was no Facebook, there was no Tesla. I never heard of Elon Musk back then, okay? And there was no Amazon back then. So when you look at 2008, Mark, you gotta help me here, buddy. What happened was the world went upside down in 2008. And when you look at that right now, that’s when AIG almost went out of business. Ford Motor Company almost went out of business. It was TARP funding. And Citigroup was the number one company in the world in 2008. And Citigroup overnight became Citigroup, okay? It went from $57 a share to under a dollar. And the world went upside down. Citibank lost money. City Mortgage lost money. How do you lose money when you’re charging 22% on credit cards? But they lost money. Travel insurance lost money. Smith Varney lost money. Every company, every company under the Citigroup umbrella lost money. Except one. Us Primerica. Because we take Wall street to Main street in our market. I’ve been saying for years, I’ve had a house in Naples, Florida since 02 as a second home. And then in 2011, my wife and I tapped out from the cold weather, we built a house in Naples. And We’ve been there since 2, 2011, full time. We got other properties and stuff. But that’s our residence for tax purposes and. No, that’s our residence. And so since 2011, you look at the growth and what’s happening in the company. And so in 2000, in 2010, April 1, 2010, the company went public because we, for two years, the company Citigroup was getting beat up. And were the only company in 2008 that made a profit. We made $750 million net profit after taxes. And I’m sharing that for a lot of you new people, because what happens is you take a look at Primerica and then you speak to your friends and then you speak to some crackhead who’s watching, sitting on Google in their underwear at 3:03:00 in the morning after they hop off YouPorn. And

Watch the video below and discover the breakthrough tips that can help you build a legacy that stands the test of time. Video Transcription: You know, I sit here and I listen this, talk to the different talks today, and pretty much you guys got a pretty awesome message. I would think, if anything, you should be able to run out of here and say, let’s get this going and let’s go make it happen. But I’m going to tell you basically why we came into this business when we first got started. And it’s crazy to say this, but I think about it, we didn’t have what you guys have today. We didn’t have no offices. We were a hotel operation. If anybody had to second guess if this was really real, it was our opportunity. I promise you that. Okay? And, you know, I tell you that because I’ve been in business since I was 19 years old. I bought my first business when I was 19. I was a hairdresser. And then afterwards, I got married and I got another business and I opened up another salon. And then I saw this business. But it was kind of ironic that I came into this business because I was hiring hairdressers. So eventually I did not have to be in the salon. That was my thinking, my theory. So I kind of thought, when I saw this business, I said, hey, why wouldn’t I want to recruit people so I can work myself out of a position? And that’s what you got to look at this. You got to look at this opportunity as the reason we recruit is so that we can duplicate ourselves and develop vice presidents so that eventually we could walk away from the business. Not walk away, but not have to do everything we’re currently doing right now. Right? And that’s something we have to come to the realization. So when we first got started, I said to myself, they said, we have to recruit. And I said, I want to make 100,000 in this business. I was already making that outside of my other business, but I said, I want to make it in this business. So I was going to be very coachable to Roy. And I asked him, what do we need to do? And he says, you got to bring a lot of people. And I said, what do you mean by a lot of people? And I’ll never forget, after our first meeting, I said, I’m going to bring you a lot of people. And he looked at me like. And I said. I looked at him and I said, roy, you look like you don’t believe me. He goes, I do. And I said, I really don’t think you believe me. Okay. And I’m going to give you a couple ideas of what happened. My first interaction with this opportunity when he looked at me like that. I said, this guy don’t believe me. I’m going to bring some people, right? So then afterwards, a couple of days later goes by and Roy Lipson never calls us. And Ray calls me and says, hey, what’s going on? And I said, well, Roy hasn’t called me. I already have, like, 15 people invited. I think I should call him. No, don’t act like you’re too anxious. I said, are you serious? He says, no, because if you act, you’re like you’re anxious. We don’t want him to get an edge on us. I said, right. What the hell am I gonna do with the people? I’m gonna put them on my head. He goes, I don’t know. But then a few hours later, he calls me and I. And at that point when he called me, he calls me and he goes, carol, Roy never used to call me. He always called Ray for real estate, right? I was the hairdresser. I just provided the money to buy the real estate, let’s put it that way, right? So at the time, Roy calls me and he goes, carol, I said, my God, thank God you called me. And he goes, why? I said, I got like 20 people coming. I don’t even know where the hell I’m sending them. I don’t even have an address right now. But they’re all coming to my house. Guys, how excited are you about your opportunity? What are you looking to do with this opportunity? Are you looking to really change your life? Are you really looking to change and make a difference for you and your family so that you could have freedom? I could have used every excuse in the world, you know, Matthew, he wasn’t even born in the business. He wasn’t even born yet when we started this business, mind you. We went to our first convention, and that’s how I found out I was pregnant. I was three months pregnant. I said, how’d that happen? I just figured, hey, you know, I thought I was just tired. I was starting a new business, you know, I didn’t feel. Thank God I didn’t have morning sickness. So thank you,

Watch it now and discover how to transform your Primerica journey into a family legacy. Video Transcription: But I just wanted to take a couple minutes just to say, you know, how grateful we are for this unbelievable opportunity that we’ve had over the last. I think Keith’s been now with Primerica for 37 years, 38 years. Wow. So. And we’ll be going on our 28th wedding anniversary in June. So we’ve been together for a really long time, and. But I think it’s. You know, I attribute everything to our great partnership that we have. And I know that a lot of you might be, you know, single and not have a partner yet, but I think this business works really well if you’re married and. Or you have a significant other and you get them involved in the business. Because I always felt that I just didn’t want to be, you know, to the side and not really know what was going on. And I think a lot of people that just work a 9 to 5 job, that’s what happens. You know, they live separate lives, people, because you’re working really hard, your spouse is working really hard, and then you really have nothing in common with each other. So that’s why I love this business so much, is because I always felt no matter what I contributed, it was something towards growing our business. So, like I said, whether you have a spouse or not or whatever, anyone could be a partner. You could have a sister, a brother, a mother. It doesn’t matter. I think, you know, what the Ortiz family has done is incredible. And I just think that only in Primerica can you build a business with your family like that and then pass it on for generations. So I know for us, the most important thing was raising, you know, raising our kids. And while they turned out really great, you know, I don’t take credit for the way they turned out, but I take credit for what we put in front of them, what we expose them to, you know, all the positivity that they’ve always been around and have seen over the years. Instead of us fighting over, you know, our business and. And not being able to see each other and not spending time together, were able to be together as a family all the time. Because whatever the interest was, it was my interest, too, because that’s what I did for a living. I ran the business. I ran his office, our office. It was a combination. I ran the kids, he ran around, going to all the meetings and stuff. So no matter what you contribute, it’s important. This is what grows your business. This is what’s growing your company. So don’t ever think as a partner that you’ve not Done your job, that you can always do more. Yes, you can always do more. But you can only do what you can do. So for right now, if that’s where you are and you leave here today and you think, you know what, as a partner, I really want to do a little bit more, well, then I think the first thing that you could do is just maybe show up at the office. You know, when you have an opportunity meeting, just go to the office and see what’s going on and, you know, contribute. That way. I know for myself, you know, I really didn’t know what Primerica was about. I had no idea. I mean, I owned a nail salon and I worked in fashion, so it was like I had no idea what Primerica was. I didn’t know anything about mutual funds. I really didn’t know anything about anything. So that’s why I thought Keith was so smart. And then I thought, okay, he’s not so smart. He is just reading off the. You know, but he was smart because he pulled me in, you know, and he kept pulling me in very slowly and would say to me, hey, how about you come to the office tonight? Or, you know, oh, we have a big meeting coming up. How about you come to the meeting? And. And little by little, I got to see what we did for people. And then all of a sudden he’s like, why don’t you get your license? So I’m like, okay, I’ll get my license. So then I got my license, and although I never went out on an appointment on my own because I was too afraid, I got my license. And then all of a sudden, Keith thought I gave him everyone that I knew. But then I also had another list of people that, hey, I was going to get paid now, so I’m going to give him that list. So. So you don’t know the people that your spouse knows. Believe me, there’s a lot more people that you can go through. So I thought for myself, that’s what I could contribute. And then when we had

Superwoman Success: Why Systems Matter – Tony Shelly Narain

Ever feel like you’re spinning your wheels, trying to build momentum in your Primerica business but not getting anywhere? You’re not alone. That’s exactly what Tony Shelly Narain dives into in this powerful session. It’s all about systems, mindset, and the sacrifices needed to reach the top. If you’re ready to break through the noise and elevate your game, this is the must-see moment you’ve been waiting for. Watch the video below and discover the strategies that can take your business to the next level. Video Transcription: I want you guys to know that this month we have our goal to do 100 recruits in the base. 400 life cases, 150 insecurities. Next one. Yeah, right. What you doing? You know, right? And the only way I know I was going to do that is bring the top 30 from the base for this event. And we have so much momentum right now. It’s crazy. I’m on the plane, Danny is sitting next to me and he’s doing a one one page for the couple. And Dr. Angie, she get off the plane, I’m like, well, where are you going? I just booked two presentations in Fort Lauderdale. I’m going to their house. I mean, this bay shop, all they knew to do is prospect, prospect. This was last month. Production in the base, 200 plus life insurance, 150 securities. Over 50 recruits, 10 prepay legal. And that’s what a sexy bay shop is. When all the products are done, that’s what you call a sexy BAE shop. And I love a sexy bay shop. The next one, right? The next one. Congratulations to gwada. Went over 400, going over to 500,000. Right? This is what the hierarchy did last month. And there was more. I just couldn’t get the numbers together. Right. Between Mike Frank and Cheyenne Pintip, just they were the number one in the hierarchy for rvp. The next one, Tone. And this was our income, right? We average about 180 to 200,000 income, 1.9 million. And I have three homes and I live in all three homes every month. I have a beautiful beach house. I have my Manhattan home and my country home. And every home I step into have an assistant. The food is cooked, everything is done. And I have an assistant in every home for Primerica also. So it’s just like leaving here. I walk into my Madison home tonight, the food is cooked, there’s a housekeeper, everything. Because the only thing Tony and Shelly does is recruit, build and make money. I don’t do grocery, I don’t do pending business. I. I don’t want to do nothing but be responsible for the most important thing. And this month, in the month of April, I think we’re going to jump two, three diamonds because I believe Primerica could. I deserve to get paid 400 grand in one month, you know, and I’m going to get paid 400 grand. And I just want to focus on, I know what I need to do that, right? I have to promote a force every 90 days and make sure after replacement that force could do 30 by 30. And if I keep doing that, I’m gonna get to 3,4 million. That’s all I have to do. Just focus on that and everything else is gonna trickle down. And I love what you put. I don’t know if it’s Erica Ortiz when you put up that $10 million, you know, but this bitch got that in one account alone. I love. I just had to share that. Saving money makes me so excited. I don’t know why, but I just want you guys to know that Dr. Angie, five by 20,000, going to RVP by June. And Hasseif is signing his contract ending in a month. And then we have Rivera, Ms. Rivera with her team, five by 10,000. And we have sue and her family. And we have like 10 different directs that we build in every single month. Strong direct. And then also I have G, who I’m working with, right? GS from Florida right here, right? Everybody thinks she’s Tony daughter, that she’s going to start doing her 10 by 10. But I am looking for the next direct that I could build like Mike and Hasif. That’s the. That’s all I gotta do. And it is so simple. I think we complicate stuff so much. The Uber driver wasn’t an Uber. Mike gets us a private car here. Hasif got us a hotel with all the food in this new bay shop. Carlos, I don’t do nothing. They pay for everything. No, no. We go out for dinner, we have to pay. No, this new bay shop, they pay. I don’t know, something different about this new bay shop. And Danny, man, everybody, heavy training. I do this guy cry. Danny, why you cry? Oh, Michelle, it’s so emotional. It’s so emotional. This guy is unbelievable. He’s a professional chef, he’s teaching a college. And Kim from Daytona, where I live at. Kim, you’re unbelievable. But I just want you to go. So after the private guy, drop us off at the airport. He’s very sharp, Keith, very Indian guy. And I just went up to him and I goes, my brother, would you stop by my office Wednesday at 4:04:00? I have a financial company. I would like to do an interview for you. And he goes, sure. And I said, text me your number now because I’m going to forget the girl that served us breakfast. I said, you have an unbelievable people’s kit. Would you give me your number and a piece of paper? I’m looking for people for work. And Hasif was blown away. We complicate stuff.

We would not be here if it wasn’t for you guys today. Just the inspiration, the motivation, I tell our team all the time, if it wasn’t for events like this, we would not be here. Like that is 100% slam dunk. You can guarantee it. If we would not have attended events like these, I promise you, our business would not look like what it is today. And we’re so very grateful for just what, you know, for what we’ve been able to get from this opportunity. I’m not just talking about money. Yes, we’ve been blessed tremendously to have a business that, you know, just pays us and allows us to be a family when we’re choosing to be a family. You know, our kids are growing up right before our eyes. And for Primerica to give us the opportunity to watch them grow and support them on what it is that they’re doing right now is one of the biggest blessings that I can ever ask for. You know, it’s such a gift. When I started in the business, one of my goals was because, remember, I don’t know if you guys know, I started at 18. I didn’t have any kind of prior experience, but as I was growing in the business, we met a lot of people from all over corporate America and so on. I saw how a lot of women had no choice that when they started their families, they had to put their infants in daycare to be. Have to go back to work. So I said, if I can at least be able to spend time with my kids and never have to do that, if Primerica could do that for me, oh, my gosh, that is like the ultimate of the ultimate. Once we started a family, yes, Primerica was able to do that for us. I just didn’t know were going to have four, you know, which is an amazing blessing. But now they’re grown, our kids, you know, just. Everybody, thank you for all the nice words. A lot of people come up to us and especially ask us about our daughter Gabby, because she does. She’s a level seven gymnast going on to level eight. And she has her state competition tomorrow. So if everybody could say a little prayer for her. She puts a lot of time and dedication, and she is Carlos Salazar in female form. If anybody wants to just understand how her personality is, she is Carlos in female form. So she, you know, puts a lot into her sport. But she’s taken it seriously for a very long time. Since A very young age. You know, our boys were very proud of them as well. They’re growing up, becoming men before us. And to the Ortiz family, let me tell you, one of the things that impacted me the most in my career here in Primerica was watching you and your family come out on that stage at the convent, like, already getting choked up. Because when I saw you guys with your parents, I saw my boys in that. In that picture, and it sold us a picture that I say we are building this for the long term for our family to change their lives, to be able to do something that you guys have done. And just, guys, this is the impact that we’re talking about. It’s not just about the money. It’s not just about the. The, you know, the. Although the perks, I guess, if you want to call it such, it’s so much bigger than that. And so I want you to understand that you are, you know, you have been chosen for the time that this is right now for you in your life. This. This opportunity is a gift. It’s a wide open door. Like someone said before, I think it was Roy Lipson. It’s a wide open door. You know, run through that door and don’t waste the time. And please help me welcome my partner in this business in life, Mr. Carlos Salazar. Hey. All right, let’s give Sarah a hand. Yeah, I’m. I’m so many of these things that I was going to cover already been said, but thank you to Keith and Danielle for just putting this amazing event. Dave and Joyce for coming out here. They have Florence. Man, RVP team makes it look good. The red and black team growing here in the Tampa area, love working with Blake. You know, Blake, to me, it’s awesome to see Blake because he, even though, like he said, he has this great business he’s going to inherit, he’s in the grind and I see him in the office and it’s so awesome because I’m thinking of my son now he’s 15, and his friends ask him, what is it that we do? So he’s already prospecting. Unfortunately, I can’t recruit him because they’re 15, but the point is they’re getting ready. He’s getting ready. So I see Blake and

Downward Thinking Is Keeping You Broke – David Kim

Ever feel like you’re stuck in a cycle of “if only” thinking, holding you back from reaching your full potential? You’re not alone. Many reps find themselves trapped in downward thinking, focusing on what could have been instead of what can be. This mindset can keep you from achieving the success you deserve in Primerica. But what if you could break free from this cycle and transform your approach to business and life? That’s exactly what David Kim dives into in this powerful session. He unpacks the concept of counterfactual thinking and how shifting your mindset can propel you forward. It’s eye-opening, actionable, and exactly what you need to start making real progress. Don’t miss this must-see moment that could change the way you view your journey. Watch the video below and discover how to turn those “if only” thoughts into a catalyst for success. Video Transcription: All right, let’s get right into it. I got a lot to cover with you in a short amount of time. How many of you guys believe that you are just not a competitive person? Anyone. You just naturally. You’re just not very competitive. And what I’ve come to realize in Primerica, you have to be competitive. What you’re saying is that you haven’t worked on something and given it your all to be perfect and really get behind it. Because think about this for a second. Think about your hobbies or think about things that you love to do and you poured out hours, weeks, months, years perfecting and getting really good at that. And then somebody comes into your industry or your hobby and just starts getting recognized for doing nothing. How would you feel? How would you feel? You. They didn’t do anything. I’ve been pouring my soul into this. How are they getting recognized? See, that natural tendency to be competitive comes out when you know you’ve dedicated your time and energy into something. Would you guys agree with that? Yes. So when you think about Primerica, you start to become competitive. When you start your journey in excellence in this business and perfecting your skill. Would you guys agree with that? Right. I’m going to be talking fast and blowing through this, but I want to talk about this sub called if Only There is a dot, dot. Okay, so let’s go into it. This is kind of getting into your brains a little bit. Let’s talk about this. This is counterfactual thinking. I know it’s very wordy, but stay with me, guys, and I would encourage you guys, jot down some notes. This is what the definition says. Okay? Counterfactual thinking involves mentally exploring alternative possibilities to events that have already occurred or. Or that are likely to occur. So let me give you some examples of this counterfactual thinking. Examples are, if only I had studied harder, I would have passed the exam. Anybody ever feel like that? If only. If only. What if I had taken that other job instead? What if I had not shown up to the opportunity meeting? What if I had not started dating this girl or guy? Where would I be if I had been standing three feet to the left? Oh, my gosh. What could have happened? Interesting study. So there’s a study on Olympic medalists here. And this is a very fascinating story. So check this out, Right? So it’s black and white for a reason. Can you guess who the gold medalist is? Can you guess who the gold medal is? Check the picture out. The gold medalist is. Ta da. The middle, right? Why? Because you know when you go up on stage, that’s the way the stage is. All right? You guys are smart. Can anyone guess who the bronze medalist is? Who says right? Who says right? It’s like the right side of the room. Who says right? Bronze medalist. Who says left? All right, check this out. Guess who the silver medalist is? All right, so let’s do a close up, shall we? And I’m going to kind of examine through this. This is the gold medalist. And they’ve done surveys and studies of all these Olympic gold medalists. And out of all the things, these are the expression of feelings that they get, okay? Surreal and unbelievable. All these years of dedication, years they gave up their childhood. And it’s surreal when they get up on that podium. Another feeling of exhilaration and joy. The satisfaction, the relief. Oh, my gosh, the pride. They can now justify the sacrifices and all the people around them that sacrifice their parents driving them to practice at 4am in the meeting, they can justify all those sacrifices. A feeling of accomplishment. Now, all the RVPs. Do you remember when you walked up on stage getting promoted to regional vice president? How many of you guys felt some of that right there, right? To all the RVP’s. Now, to all the budding RVPs. That is something to look forward to. It’s like a. But check this out. Now, this is where we got to put on our thinking caps. This is downward counterfactual thinking. What the heck is that? Let’s read the definition. It says this involves imagining a less positive outcome than the one that actually occurred. Bronze medalists might focus on the fact that they won a medal at all rather than dwelling on the fact that they didn’t win gold, leading to feelings of satisfaction and relief. So let’s kind of translate that, right? So the bronze medalist actually seems and looks happier than the silver medalist because they’re like, whoa, you know, I should be grateful I’m on stage. Look at that. Look at that schmo over there. He’s on fourth place. I just beat him by a millisecond. And I’m on stage. And that guy is not. Ha, ha, I’m on stage. So this, what they call downward counterfactual thinking

Just dream big and follow up with activity, and I promise you’re gonna get everything that you want out of this company for your family and your community. On that note, this is a person that I love to death. Sometimes I want to kill him. But you know what? That. The bottom line is that he puts in the effort all the time. He’s a wonderful leader. The one and only. My love, John Pacon. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Minnie Shelly. I’ll take it. Mini Shelley, Minnie, Tony, whatever you want me to be, I’ll be right. Just keep the money coming. Good afternoon, everybody. Man, hope everyone’s having a tremendous day, right? You know, this is a tremendous. Super Sadie. Thank you. Keith and Danielle and, you know, everybody else who showed up here, man, we’re super excited, man. Always, all the time, right? We eat and drink, sleep. Primerica. That’s. That’s. That’s how it’s become, man. And you know what? That’s why we got things happening. Where’s Roy? Roy. Roy. Let me, you know, everybody, let me tell you what my version of, you know, highly educated, you know, the 4.0 in college, right? 2.0 in the fall semester, 2.0 in the spring semester. That’s 4 to me. That’s my 4 average. I’m as dumb as a stump, but I know how to make money, that’s for sure. Let me tell you a little bit about myself, right? You know, a friend of mine, John Vincenzi, you know, chased me around probably for about six, seven, maybe eight years trying to get me into this company, you know, from, like, the late 90s, okay, all the way into the early 2000s. And, you know, I finally came in, like, right around the mid-2000s, like 2006, 2007. And, you know, came in and I was a client first, and, you know, just, you know, agreed, you know, to get licensed. And, you know, I got licensed, and you know what? I never looked back. And, you know, I used to work, like, Yankee games, like, off duty, like, to make extra money and a few other things, you know, because I used to have that clown suit on, and, you know, they paid me, like, $35 an hour. But I tell you what, right when I got licensed, I never did that no more. I stopped that. You know, I had to make sacrifices and an investment of time into this business, and I used to make, like, an extra thousand dollars or maybe twelve hundred dollars a month doing that amongst all the other overtime I was doing with the city. So, you know, so that plus a few other sacrifices, you know, along the way is really what led us, you know, to what we’re doing now, right? You know, this is a family business, right? You know, we got, you know, my son in the business, right? We got our kid, right? You know, and you know what? He’s working the business. He’s go through his frustrations like everybody else does, right? Like, you know, we still do, right? You know, you wouldn’t be, it wouldn’t be normal if he didn’t go through some type of frustration, right? Because the way we see, we should have been millionaires already. But you know what? Hey, you know what we’re working to get there, right? You know, one of the biggest things I could tell you is, right, you need to plug in, okay? You need to plug in, you know, to a system, to whatever your base shop is doing, whatever your hierarchy is doing, right? Especially if you got a hierarchy that’s a million dollar hierarchy. You got to plug into that. You know, you gotta, you know, you gotta take this serious. You can’t take this like, you know, like it’s something, hey, you know what? I’m in Primerica. Yeah, you gotta be more than happy to be in it, right? You gotta, you know, just be more than happy to be around excited people. You gotta actually want to do this because, you know, anybody could make, you know, six figures. You know, we’re all on a level playing field. We all started, you know, John Pacone didn’t come in here, you know, making 60, 70, you know, we’re over 80,000, me and Sandy this month. We didn’t come in here making it. We came in here like, all right, we could make an extra 500amonth, 1,000amonth. You know, we could help some people. That’s how we came in. Like everybody else comes in on an even playing field. And you got to believe, you know, that you can kick this thing up in gear and really make this thing work for yourselves, right? What you got to do is you got to find out and you got to slide into, like, you know, where you

Success Requires One Thing: Willingness To Be Coached – Roy Lipson

Ever feel like you’re stuck in a rut, doing the same things over and over without seeing the results you want? You’re not alone. Many reps struggle with finding the right mindset and the willingness to be coached, which can be the key to unlocking your potential. Imagine if you could break free from those limiting beliefs and truly embrace the guidance of those who’ve walked the path before you. That’s exactly what Roy Lipson dives into in this powerful session. It’s all about being open to change, embracing discomfort, and letting go of the need to have all the answers. If you’re ready to transform your approach and see real growth, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Watch the video below and discover the breakthrough tips that can propel you to new heights in your Primerica journey. Video Transcription: So I’m listening to Keith and, you know, introduce me. And I was thinking about this. I had tears in my eyes because he closed the meeting, and he was making $150,000 a year in Primerica at that time. And I was making $150,000 a year as an attorney. And they talked about becoming a regional vice president. And the average vice president makes over $100,000 a year. And that was really not of interest to me. But they said you have a contract to recruit and enroll people for Primerica, and you get paid on their efforts, and you could recruit and enroll as many people as you want to, John. Each time you find somebody who goes out and becomes a regional vice president, the average vice president making 100,000 a year, you’re going to get paid over $50,000 a year, every year, for the rest of your life. And I was like, are you effing kidding me? Like, is this real? And. And the truth of the matter is, it’s real, you know, And I’m looking around the room, and I just. I have just an incredible amount of gratitude, you know, And I was listening to Bernard talk earlier, and I’m really freaking fired up about what he was talking about. But I don’t want to give you a history lesson, but I do want you to know if you do what you’re hearing here, it’s worth it, and it’ll work, and you’ll be free, and you’ll have a life beyond your wildest dreams. You know, I see Lou Vitale over there, and helped so many of us. And, you know, Ann and I had an opportunity to, you know, we spent the day with him yesterday, him and Kathleen. We went out to dinner. We stayed over, and we took a ride up here. You know, yesterday, John Pacone, John and Cindy went over $700,000 of income as regional vice presidents. They haven’t promoted a vice president yet. You can’t even imagine what’s going to happen because it’s. It’s. But, you know, and I can’t thank what Jason did. I was telling him a minute ago that presentation numbers and how it works and the visual of the blue balls, huh? You must be married. But, you know, all that stuff. But the way it works is the way it works. And I’m just like, I’m thankful that I found some people, but that’s really all this is. It’s finding people. You can’t decide what color ball they’re going to be, okay? They’re going to decide that. You got to start Putting people into the system. I mean, it’s as simple as that. I thought that. I mean, you know, I’m excited. Like, I see Ira McSweeney here as a regional vice president. He was my postman and I met his guy, Joe say, okay. And I’m fired up to meet the guy. I’ve never. We’ve seen him, Ray and I, Carol, we’ve seen him on a zoom on Saturdays every once in a while. But he’s fired up about building a business and he wants to go do something special with his life for his family. And being here has a chance to change his life. And I see Blake over there, like, Keith didn’t just change his life, he changed his family’s life that he didn’t know when he came. He didn’t have a family when he came in. I mean, I mean, kids and a wife. I mean, he had a family, but not, you know what I’m talking about. And I’m thinking about the discipline and the consistency. You know, success is a few simple disciplines practiced and repeated daily. I needed, when I came in here, I needed to be consistent in my self improvement. I needed to start believing. I needed to start thinking positively. I need to protect my brain every single day. And I still do. Wherever I am, if somebody comes to me and they want to start talking to me about something negative, I politely excuse myself. I have no room for negativity. I can’t process it. I can’t do what I need to do and be an effective leader. If I’m thinking about crap, by the way, I don’t think anybody in this room can do it either. How protective are you of what you’re thinking about? You know, I look at, you know, Ray and Carol Costello, their son Matthew. Where’s Matthew? Where’s Matthew Costello? All right, that young man, let me. Here’s the deal. Coachability. You hear the word coachability, you hear it thrown around all the time. Okay? What the hell does that mean? Oh, coach, I’m coachable. Are you absolutely 100% willing to be coached? If you are, some of the things you’re going to hear are going to offend you or hurt your pride or hurt your ego or make you feel bad or challenge you or stretch you or make you afraid? Is that all we have to do to become successful? Like, are you willing to be afraid? Are you willing to put yourself
